Well, you've read the notes, the notes roared and smelled, and now it is time for you to post until the smelly cows come home.

I just watched last night's episode of "Body of Proof," which was the 3rd season premiere.  On Monday, I watched the season premier of "Castle," and what's really interesting is that in both shows...

SPOILER ALERT!!!
...the child of the lead character was kidnapped!
END OF SPOILER ALERT!!!

Coincidence??  I don't think so.

;)

DR GEORGE I have a PC and if you have installed Real Player and Flash you already have the capability to download what's on You Tube.  When there is a video up, the words DOWNLOAD THIS VIDEO should appear when your cursor is near the screen.  I download, then use the free FORMAT FACTORY to convert the FLV files to AVI and then burn.

There are also a couple of free programs to join the pieces up if you wish, but you don't have to.

Good morning, all!  I am off to Toyland.

Things settle down on the casting front, and then the agent informs you that the singer you want is unavailable. So, it's back to Square One, and working my last nerve. I am very unhappy this morning because I simply have no ideas left: Marilyn Horne we can't afford, Janet Baker's retired  (80 years old!), Sarah Walker turned us down, Diana Montague is in rehearsal, and my other choices are vetoed by the producer.  I am very unhappy at the moment.

Cheesecake Cupcakes.

LAURA arrived in my mailbox today.

Last Sunday on ME Tv - an episode of THE LUCY SHOW featured Lucy competing in a billiards contest against Dick Shawn who was in drag....   His drag character's name was Laura....and the "Laura" theme was played every time someone said the name....I didn't notice a credit for Raksin at the end of the show.....but maybe I should check the DVD set to see if it's there.

Good old creative differences.  All those Shia fans will have to return their tickets.

I saw ORPHANS many years ago....didn't much care for it then.....not sure how I would feel about it now....haven't thought about it in years.....it seemed like a Joe Orton play trapped in a Tina Howe play to me.

Exactly.  Everyone thinks they know how to do these evenings, and few really do.  The first problem always is exactly what you say - what's the POINT?  If there's no point then it's a bore.

Tomorrow I am supposed to go see Beautiful Creatures. I have only read the first book so far (I have the second one from the library).

I heard that they combined two of my favorite characters. I hate when movies do this. Hopefully i will like the movie.

It probably helps to know this prior to watching the movie.

I was so happy that I had heard this before seeing the movie so I could prepare myself. Otherwise I would have been mad.

I was watching Viola Davis (who is in the movie) doing an interview. Her character is a house keeper in the book. She has a big part in the book. Anyhow in the interview Viola was saying how they wanted her to play the part but she was like "um no i won't play another maid".  So that made me wonder what the heck kind of character she was playing.

I am wondering if the combined the two characters just so they could get her to do the movie. I hope that is not the case. Because she isn't even a maid.  The main boy's mother is dead and she basically takes care of him.

Well, well, well, out little friend has done her dirty business again - this time leaving one one-star vote for each and every episode of Outside the Box save for the Matt Ashford episode.  She either missed that one or left it alone for some bizarre reason.  Now, she may have done that at the same time she left her one-star ratings for the overall series so I'm going to give our little friend one day to undo those votes (easy to cancel a vote) - if that happens, I will do nothing.  If it does not happen, then many dear readers will be getting a private e-mail from me with instructions as to what to do next.  The ball, as they say, is in her court.  Do the right thing or don't - it's up to you.

Spoilers re: THIS WEEK's THE GOOD WIFE

Keith spent a lot of years in business and said what they did was wrong & they should have been held accountable for it.  He felt she should have gone out on her own or done something else instead.  Just because most people would have don that doesn't make it right.   I will wait & see where they take this.

I don't even know if I want to wait until tomorrow.  I have contacted the imdb, although I have no idea if that does any good, but I have given them the history, all of her various usernames that I know of, her e-mail addresses that I know of, and her websites that I know of.  If any of her dirty work emanated from any of those, then they'll know it.  Act fast, dear heart, before you have to learn your lesson the hard way.

I'm shocked, around 3:00 this afternoon, just before my short nap, I purchased a book to read on my Nook.  It is almost 7:00 and I still haven't received a book from the library.  Last time I purchased a book it only took 10 minutes before I heard from the library.

DR Jane, I don't agree with what the voters at the firm did. That was totally wrong. And I think for the show to work it works better with her there. I actually don't think that what she did was wrong. She's not friends with any of those other people (other than Cary sp?). She doesn't know what happened and that they all got together to decide to let one in so they wouldn't all go out on their own. I think with the info she had it was in her best interest to do what she did. She has two kids to support who will be going to college.

Me neither. Hopefully IMDB will rectify things. But would anyone who would watch Outside the Box ever look there anyway? And if they do they will see that the same person put 1 star for every episode. In the grand scheme of things it won't affect things.

Had a good evening. Went to see Shrek the Musical.  It was cute. They did a very good job of it.  I was very please to see lots of kids at the theater and a different and younger crowd than usual.  They also lucked out with the weather.  We were supposed to get snow starting tonight, now it's been moved to tomorrow afternoon.  They should be able to load up and get out of town without a problem

That was the end of my day.  The rest of the day was long.  I will share this piece of humor...

I gave a quiz on the orchestra to my 4th and 5th graders today. One of one questions was "what is the difference between a violin and viola". If anyone comes up with the answer "a viola burns longer" that's an instant "A" until they graduate 8th grade!!! Of course, that's not the answer I'm looking for, but as soon as I read the question out, I chuckled, no one knew why.  LOL
