Good morning, all.
The tax fun continues. I will put an end to it today whether I find the one receipt or not.

Tell me what it was for and the amount. I'll send you an invoice.
And I am back from errands! The Food Emporium at 68th Street and Broadway is closing! Terrible news: it was so convenient to stop there on my way home from the office and pick up some things. They had great produce.
Melon balls? I didn't know melons had balls!
No, wait, that's policemen.
Back from the fundraiser. It was fun and festive. The silent auction and various raffles brought in $4700. I think the menu planners forgot the entree - we had lettuce salad, fruit salad, biscuits, and baked potato halves with assorted toppings. There were trays of small pastries on the tables.
Good morning to all.
My last day in the frozen tundra of Montreal.
I am sooooooo looking forward to getting back to Florida tonight!
There is a stage version of Grease now available (I think) that goes back to the original concept when it was originally done in Chicago. A lot tougher with the language, slightly different story and different songs. I know that the surviving member of the writing team work on this.
Danny dies in a knife fight with a member of the Shark's gang.
NOT!

no, no, you need a DAUGHTER - and she must roll her eyes as she is pushing the magic buttons - it is a very important step
I guess I won't be making cookie cups but it was fun reading about DR Cilla's adventure with them.
We saw GREASE on tour starring Miss Sally Struthers as Miss Lynch and she was great. Adrian Zmed was Danny.....and Mackenzie Phillips was Rizzo. Someone named Kelli Bond Severson was Sandi.
No movie songs in this one. It was fun....
Sally came out at the beginning and talked to the audience like it was a reunion....then she walked offstage and through the rows asking people their names...and when they told her....she would say things like...."Oh, yes....you were a troublemaker...." and "I never did like you..." and "Didn't you get pregnant your senior year?" Then she got back onstage and saw some people coming in late and said to them.... "You never were on time. You were supposed to be here when the little hand was on eight and the big hand was on twelve...."

Congrats on the fundraiser, Ginny!
I did laundry, too. Must be something in the air...
The new machines are great. Bit of a learning curve -- even just watching these run, it's a whole different world -- but the the results are incredible.
Sorry, I forgot. Nicky requested a photo with his eyes open.
We found it in the water and picked it up. She carried it until its wings dried and it could fly.
And here she is with a buddy scooping up tadpoles in a puddle to move them to a spot in the stream that had more water.
Thanks for the photo of Nicky, DR TCB! He's quite a looker!

Thank you Nicky. It is always nice to see your sweet face.

DR Jennifer if you can't use your bike are you still swimming instead?I stopped doing inside swimming but hope to be able to do outdoor swimming in June. I think I would have trouble swimming now due to my shoulder. This is one reason I am so anxious to get on my bike. I need it.
This is a little better

That is Patina Miller - the Leading Player
A week from today, I will be in New Orleans. And a week from tomorrow I sail for Copenhagen.
I need time to think. I need to decide whether or not to undergo another one or two surgeries.

Are you really going on a cruise?
The food at Jekyl & Hydes was Ok - I had a turkey swiss burger with grilled mushrooms, onions and peppers on a freshbaked bakery style roll - it was really nice and I had the truffle fries which were very tasty - the Vixter just had a regualr hamburger and fries --
The dessert was a pice of chocolate cake - the flipped in upside down in a cup so the icing was at the bottom and put whipped cream on top

That was the big flaming dessert?
I think I was 10 or 11 back in 1973.
We wlaked in at 11:30 just as it was opening and it was virtually empty - by the time we left at 1:30 (the service was not slow - we were just taking our time) the place was packed and there was a line outside-
It is a real tourist trap which all real NOO YAWKAS will pooh pooh but being Islanders we can motor in and be touristy once in a while :)

Yes - it was really cool - instead of a candle it was something like a cross between a sparkler and a flare
After the show when we went to get the car the parking garage was MOBBED!! people trying to get it for the evening shows people leaving after the matinees so we decided to stay for dinner before we left so we ended up at John;s Pizza after all and has our usual small pie to share

44th and Broadway - HHW introduced me to John's and now it is a favorite stop - the small pizza - which is 6 good size slices is $14 - we share that and usually take 2 slices home - which we did today -Vixdad enjoyed those!

Nice photos. I still don't like the show, but the pictures are cool. And Matthew Mark Luke John is very cute.
