If you live in the Sacramento area, I will be guesting live on Mary Jane Popp's radio show today at about 10am (PT), AM 950 KAHI. The show is also syndicated nationally, so check your local listings.
And the word of the day is: DIATHESIS!

Oh, and Jerry Lewis arrived in Indiana this morning with a light dusting of snow.
Wow - the board is taking a long time to post again...
Glad you got to the party DR ELMORE. I was listening to some older CD's last night- since I couldn't sleep. And I would be interested in your thoughts on the NEW GIRL IN TOWN score and orchestrations....
The Irish Rep did NEW GIRL about three years ago. That's where I found Patrick Cummings, who's on the ROBERTA recording. They cut several od the "musical comedy" numbers and went back to Anna Christie for more book. It all seemed an odd fit, but i enjoyed it.
DR GINNY don't forget to pick up Playbills off the floor for needy MidWest theatre people.
I have indeed accepted the role of Philoctetes in the Achilles/Achillies' Son to be produced in January at DePauw University. I have many of the BEST lines in the show, and I am hoping it will be a fun process...at least it won't be as grim as THE CRUCIBLE was last year (although I did enjoy doing that show).
WOW - this new EZ EYES keyboard is great. It has a very light touch, it is very quiet, and it is EZ to see.
Oh dear, there are many DON'T BUY THIS KEYBOARD messages on Google....not very many people are happy with it. We shall see what happens with me.
My beloved goddaughter Charlotte came to visit me today. It was lovely see her and hear about the things she's been doing. Today: voice lesson, dance class, and a screening with her godmother Celia Weston. She wears me out!
Congrats on the role!
May THIS be the production that propels DR JRand63 to the Great White Way!!!

This site is running rather sluggishly today. It takes awhile to post.

And like some DR said above (was it Jane?), may some work for you come out of it.

Good morning, all!
BK, congrats on the success of Sandy's show last night. I was delighted and honored to be there at the big kid's table, and I had great fun catching up with Jessica and meeting her lovely daughter.
I could see all the wonderful BK touches in Sandy's show, and absolutely loved your song 'Simply". It was "Simply" marvelous.
I also loved "This Christmas" - so funny, and worked perfectly as her encore. My other favorite BK touch was the hint of "Cabaret" in her "Where or When".
Great night, great work! I was so happy to be there.
Nice thoughts from Mr Deutsch....with which I agree.
Loved reading all about the show and process in the notes.
I am not enough in the know about Cabaret to have a favorite....but I do love the BK Produced CD's of singers ...

Very interesting discussion of process in the notes today, bk!
I've said it before, but the greatest thing about Sandy is the joy in her voice. It is in everything she sings. She is very special.

Is CHAPLIN still playing on Broadway?
Good morning, all! I am very bored. This was a "what's there to get up for" kind of day, so i stayed in bed until 9:30, bathed, and dressed, and I'm pondering what to do besides vacuum. I have small bit of Moross work, and that will be an hour out of my life, at most.
I'm happy that Sandy's show went well and the notes were fun. Lanny's supposed to be in New Yrk this week, and I'm hoping we can get together.
Vixmom, every time I see you Avatar I want to tilt my head
BK, I was just perusing eBay and came across THIS (http://www.ebay.com/itm/CINDY-WILLIAMS-THE-FIRST-NUDIE-MUSICAL-STEPHEN-NATHAN-BRUCE-KIMMEL-POSTER-/350925005272) poster. Have you ever seen it? I don't remember if I have or not. According to the address at the bottom, it's for a showing in New York...and Cindy Williams gets top billing!
