Since I have the original JEEPERS CREEPERS, I think I will pass on this one.....can't decide.... I do recommend it to anyone who doesn't have it, though. It's a terrific CD!!! It's got OOOO-EEEEE.....it's cookin' with gas!
Tuesday morning greetings! Another cold, cold, cold day here in SW Ohio. Hope that doesn't keep people away from our AAUW meeting tonight.
I am waiting on Patrick.
TOD: I would like to see men's neck scarves from the seventies come back in style. So much more comfortable than neckties, but still provide some colour and dash. Time to ditch the bikini wax and bald nether regions.
And although I'm a bit groggy,
Greetings, all!
As I begin my last week of shows in Maine tonight, all I can say is, I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUTTA HERE AND GET HOME. (sorry for shouting :D)
I'm also very much looking forward to the new Kritzerland show!!
Jeepers Creepers sounds wonderful, BK! Whenever I think of creepy songs, the first one that always comes to mind is Tom Leher's "I Hold Your Hand in Mine".
And the word of the day is: BLATHERSKITE!
Greetings, all!

I actually performed this song and pulled a friend out of the audience to sing it to...she didn't know the song but she's a performer, so I knew that she wouldn't be freaked out by calling her up. I took her hand and (at first) sang the song to her, looking into her eyes, etc., but on the line, "My joy would be complete dear, if you were only here...", I grabbed her arm and sang the rest of the song to her hand. It was so funny! Everyone loved it and she really got a kick out of it! :))

I love that. A perfect way to do that song.
After posting here about it, I posted a video on FB of Tom doing "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park", another fave.
Thank you, Shirley!!!

TOD: So, by thongs, did you mean footwear or bikinis - or both?
I'd be happy never to see parachute pants again.
I will soon be off to meet my DWTS partner. I hope I get someone good or at least someone FUN....which is even more important.
They want you to click on the link - that's what it's about. Once you do that, they have access to your computer.
TOD:
Two things I hate, hate, hate:
Men wearing baggy pants that sag in the seat...sagging to the extent that they can hardly walk.
In relation, the trend of some men wearing their pants below their ass cheeks with nothing but a belt and a bit of anatomy to keep them from sliding past their knees.
It's ridiculous. Ludicrouse. Grotesque!
Here's a fun oddity:

I do agree. It is a great CD, but since I already have a copy, I will pass on another.

TCB, re the Tony Danza somewhat-word-playing reference: he does come pretty darn close to spectacular in a stage role of a lifetime in the musical HONEYMOON IN VEGAS.

Are you serious about that, or are you pulling my leg?

I would like to see suits and ties come back for the workplace and theater.....and weddings and funerals.
There is NO SUCH THING AS A PAIR OF DRESS JEANS!!!

I hate when someone posts something from You Tube, because I go and watch the clip, and then I go exploring to other clips, and next thing you know, an hour or two has gone by.
I have spent some delightful time with my iPad, watching the figure skating pairs' short programs from Sochi. Started with 20 pairs and 16 qualified for the finals, which are tomorrow. I'll be interested to see tonight how many of the 20 are shown on NBC. I'm also glad to hear that Bob Costas is taking tonight off - his eyes look terrible!Last night he took a drink of vodka and said what the heck his eyes couldn't get any redder
Well, a storm is heading this way--we may get up to 9 inches of snow Thursday. The local joke is that everyone heads to the supermarket for milk, bread and toilet paper when snowstorms are predicted.
I just another email ordering me to quit my premises:
Eviction Notification,]Be advised that you must exit the occupied premises

Find a copy of the vacate notice in the attachment to this notification.
This is from another law firm. So, what the hell is all this phishing about? I'm opening no attachments, so what's the purpose of all this?
Will we never see page 5?

Yes the oncologist confirmed what I hoped, all looks normal , no need for a PET scan - officially 5 years in remission. Thank you all for your support and love and putting up with my nonsense
I kept breaking into tears today - but happy tears!
We had a celebratory lunch at work today in honor of my good news

What is the ROMEO AND JULIET that Vixmom and the Vixter are going to see?

They filmed the recent Broadway production (http://www.ibdb.com/production.php?id=494555) with Orlando Bloom.
Mom said she got her Shirley Temple doll out today. She got it when they first came out. Mom is just a little older than Shirley. She has the dishes, the doll, movie photos etc and all in very good condition....she even has a doll bed that someone made for her and it says on it "For Joan's Shirley Temple doll".
