Have a great time at your signing, BK!
It's not an execution. But I think it would be nicer if it were.
TOD - My first book signing was when my sister took me to the downtown Detroit J. L. Hudson store to meet Kay Thompson and have her autograph my copy of ELOISE. I was probably about 7 and it started me down the road of attending many, many readings/signings. Some of my favorites have been Susan Stamberg, David Pogue, Amy Tan, Mary Doria Russell, Ellen Goodman, and Brian Lamb (founder of C-Span).
Tomorrow is Palm Sunday. The church where I sing is using eco-palms. These are apparently environmentally sustainable and fairly traded.

I passed on the mashed potatoes.
And next Sunday we have an Easter matinee.
George, how is it working with Christian?
Found out that my nephew won the Governor's Award for the Arts today for his French horn playing. It includes a three-week summer intensive as well as full tuition to a couple of colleges in Kentucky if he wants to go there.
I'll let you know when I know. ;)
And then I went down to Portland Oregon with cyber son Jed and daughter-in-law, Ann for a signing by this old Jew from California. Without a doubt this was the best signing I had ever attended. The author was charming and witty, and he told the best stories. I wish I could remember his name.
I'll let you know when I know. ;)
When does the show open?
This made me laugh! What the hell was that bride thinking?

TOD: I didn't go because I was out of town, but last week David Sibley, who wrote the whole series of Sibley's Field Guide to North American Birds, was in town doing a book signing. I would have gone.
