Don't know any of those films, but I'm putting that on my Warner Archive want list, DR MBarnum.
Wishing a most delightful birthday celebration today to our E&T DR Danise! May you have abundant health and happiness all through the coming year!!

I like the original GOJIRA film as well. I only have it on DVD, haven't seen it on the big screen.
Those movies look interesting DR MBARNUM, but if I never see another Beverly Garland film, my life will still be complete.
Did you read my review of the BG biography in Scarlet? You might have gotten the electronic version, I don't know if the print version of this edition will EVER come out.
Here are posters for each of the films in the set:

Got about nine hours of sleep, I think. Up now and will go eat at some point soon, then write liner notes until I have to leave for our five o'clock rehearsal.
Happy Birthdayto our E&T DR Danise!!(Come back soon, we miss you!)

You are in Australia where it is already the 7th? ;D
Happy Birthday To Errant And Truant DR DANISE(and DAnephew)
I'm confused by something in Filichia's write-up on IRMA LA DOUCE:
No need for me to translate "grisbi" once you hear the song title "Le Grisbi Is the Root of the Evil in Man." The way the singers end that song on the original cast album – taking the word "can" and adding no fewer than thirteen scoopy "ans" on the end -- is pretty much the way the Four Plaids would have handled it.
I don't THINK I'm hearing them do anything but hold the final chord out, as written, while the band bangs out the thirteen chords under them. What am I missing here?

I AM WHAT I AM!
So, what's up for me today?
....
That, and listening to IRMA LA DOUCE ... which I'm seeing tomorrow night at Encores! It kind of snuck up on me and I wish I knew the score a lot better. But I'm quite sure the troops will be remarkable and I'll be dazzled. Or something like that.
Uff...I forgot to wish DR George a happy birthday yesterday! So please accept my belated wishes that you day was a wonderfu one!

I was just listening to Paul Byrom's THIS IS THE MOMENT CD, again. I enjoy it very much.

Did I send you that?

You certainly did.
Jane, I forgot to say that I enjoyed the season finale of RESURRECTION. There was a great deal of suspense, some interesting twists, and a shock in the final 30 seconds that I didn't see coming. I look forward to next season.

Of course, because I knew that Danise's birthday was not until the 7th. ::)
Tuesday afternoon greetings! I went to vote this morning on my way to lunch with the grantwriters. We celebrated the 10th anniversary of the group and I was one of 4 original members in attendance. We all received nice gifts, which were totally unexpected.
DR TCB you are looking very bright today.
For those who may not know and are interested, the Today Show is featuring performances from Broadway shows all week.

I guess you didn't realize this was a compliment on your new avatar :)
DR Jennifer I'm sorry you can't fix your laminator.
I wonder if I should be concerned about the two ambulances and five firetrucks in front of my house
if I wasn't in my jammies I might consider going out and inquiring as to the reason for their presence
TCB you look especially handsome in your new avatar

Thank you. It was taken on she ship when we were in Sweden.
well they all drove away... all the neighbor's houses appear to be standing , there is no smell of smoke in the air...
Who wore it better? :)

A prominent church in the Twin Cities caused consternation recently as well, by misspelling the word "resurrection" in their splashy Easter newspaper advertisement.
No one proofreads anymore...

So you left Washington State, went to Sweden to snap a few pics, then on to Australia?

It is quite a nice photo. You look quite happy and carefree. It's good to see you that way.

So you are standing on your front porch, in your pajamas, sniffing the air?

If I did that it would be worse, because I don't wear pajamas.

Glad Vixmom's non-emergency is over.
if I wasn't in my jammies I might consider going out and inquiring as to the reason for their presence
Are they trying to get into your house?? That would, in my opinion, be the real consideration as to finding the reason for their presence.
I just finished taping a video interview with Author Solutions, an off-shoot of Penguin. They have a website, Author Learning Center.
They will be in Los Angeles later this year, BK, and I suggested they interview you, too.
I was trying to buy the Li'l Abner poster - one of my grails - but some total cretin idiot paid over $3,000 for it.
So, I was just watching Orson Welles' last interview - he died a couple of hours after doing it - on the Merv Griffin show in the mid-80s. It was posted on You Tube and the company that posted it now owns the rights to all the Griffin shows from beginning to end. So, I went to their website and wrote them an e-mail, asking if it were possible to get my segment of the show that I did in 71 or 72. A long shot, but I didn't think it would hurt to ask.
