Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland 47, and now it is time for you to post until the forty-seven cows come home.

So glad to read that the Kritzerland show was another great success!  And that Skip's songs landed so well, as they justly deserve.

Glad that INSIDE OUT was represented, too.  One of the most delightful experiences seeing an off-Bway show, and our dear friend (and in Last Starfighter at NYMF presentation, also a BK co-star) Maureen Silliman was in it when we saw it.

Good morning, all! I had a very unsettling dream that woke me up at 5:30, so I got up half an hour earlier than anticipated.  I may lie down in a bit and try to nap, but I have to be off to physical therapy around 8:45.

Beyond that, my day is wide open. When i come home, I will occupy myself with small errands, look for that bill which really bothers me. I have no idea where the hell it could be.

Monday morning greetings!  Our electricians arrived, as promised, before 9am and are working upstairs while Richard and I continue our bedroom painting.  My next step is to put the second coat on the upper part of the frame.  Richard is finishing a step before I can block the doorway and get up on the stepladder for about 10-15 minutes.

Most of my favorite teenage movies were illustrated by DR MBARNUM.....although most of the stars of those films were on the OTHER side of teen age.....

LIFE BEGINS AT 17 is especially entertaining.

I also like:

The Party Crashers

Pitch Perfect....college age kids

Romeo & Juliet - 1968

The Breakfast Club....for the most part

Less Than Zero

That looks like a nice place to stay.  It appears that is a real pool built in front of the ocean.  When we walked along the ocean paths in, and near, Sydney we saw a number of pools & swimming areas built right into the ocean.

Some of you have seen this photo on Facebook, but I thought I'd share here the dramatic difference this paint job is making.  This is Richard's closet and I have now painted the frame to match the walls.  The new color is much bluer than it looks in the picture.

Are you using that blue "painter's" tape?

Thanks, DR Singdaw!

Yes, we're using the blue tape on the wood floor for painting the baseboards.  I was going to use it on the window I painted last week, but Richard said just paint and scrape afterwards.  That worked OK, I'm going to try taping when we get to the monster picture window that takes up most of the north (and last) wall.  When we cover the window with the somewhat darker blue drapes I've ordered, it will be like having a painted "accent" wall.

Did some banking, and am relaxing right now until I leave for the lunch meeting, after which I shall be on my way to the screening.  Looks like our NY dates will be November 15 and 16, a Saturday and Sunday night.  Right now, the Saturday show would be the Sherman Brothers evening - two shows, seven and nine-fifteen, and Sunday could well end up being the show we did last night, because Jason Graae thinks he can get to NY for it, since he won't be that far away.

Good NYC news.....if I win the lottery later this summer, I will be able to go.

Just got a Facebook message from the Stage Manager of Steel Magnolias who is upset that her photo is not in the news story on the website.  I told her with the exception of the director, I usually only post photos of cast members.  The photo I took of her and her daughter....the stage crew....will be used in the slide show in the lobby....

It's a huge improvement, DR Jane!  I'm only in there to sleep, but Richard's closet, dresser, desk, and library are in that room so he spends a lot of time there.  We may have enough paint left over for me to use in my Momcave across the hall.  That's where I have my closet, dresser, desk, library, TV, recliner, and craft stuff.  But that's a project for after we get the kids settled and Richard and I get back from France.

It looks nice!  Are you able to sleep there with the smell?

Amazingly, DR Jennifer, this paint has no smell.  I did get a whiff during the night on Saturday, but realized it was coming from upstairs where Rob and Mary Linda had painted the ceiling in their living/dining room right above our bedroom.

And secondly, thank you for the lovely words you posted about my work last night. It was a true joy to be a part of last evening's stellar Kritzerland show.

Well, tonight's run-through of "The Tempest" was the first with costumes, lights and sound, and other than the few goobers because of all the added elements, it went pretty well.  It all took about three hours, but we stop and start and go back a few times.  Not a bad first run-through.  I do have to say that it's not very "Oz"-y.  That's supposed to be the concept, but I didn't see it...some of the sound cues, but not much other than that.
