Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland 47, and now it is time for you to post until the forty-seven cows come home.

And the word of the day is: NOOSPHERE!

Morning all.
That is all.

So glad to read that the Kritzerland show was another great success! And that Skip's songs landed so well, as they justly deserve.
-
Will videos follow?? (hint, hint)

So glad to read that the Kritzerland show was another great success! And that Skip's songs landed so well, as they justly deserve.
Great to hear the show was such a success. (And I'll make sure Skip gets all the detailed news about everything!!!)
-
Glad that INSIDE OUT was represented, too. One of the most delightful experiences seeing an off-Bway show, and our dear friend (and in Last Starfighter at NYMF presentation, also a BK co-star) Maureen Silliman was in it when we saw it.
-
Thanks to vixmom and TCB for the comments last night about Florida.
-
And Skip thanks vixmom for her nice words about his cooking and composing as well.

Good morning, all! I had a very unsettling dream that woke me up at 5:30, so I got up half an hour earlier than anticipated. I may lie down in a bit and try to nap, but I have to be off to physical therapy around 8:45.
Beyond that, my day is wide open. When i come home, I will occupy myself with small errands, look for that bill which really bothers me. I have no idea where the hell it could be.
-
Good morning, all.
Up early here, too. An interesting dream was had, but it had outlived its welcome.
Coffee!
-
And the word of the day is: NOOSPHERE!
You say NOOSPHERE, I say MOOSPHERE.
-
An interesting dream was had
I hope your interesting dream contacted the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection division.

I wonder what bk has got up his sleeve for the 50th milestone Kritzerland show in a few month's time?

I'm canceling therapy and going back to bed.
-
I am pretty sure it's Monday.
-
BK,
Congrats on another successful show.
-
Have we noted that elmore's next post is number 32,000?

Whoa! And where is DR George when we need him?!

Good morning, all.
Congrats to BK and cast for a successful show. To echo Slumdog, we want videos.

Monday morning greetings! Our electricians arrived, as promised, before 9am and are working upstairs while Richard and I continue our bedroom painting. My next step is to put the second coat on the upper part of the frame. Richard is finishing a step before I can block the doorway and get up on the stepladder for about 10-15 minutes.
-
DR Ginny - PLEASE - practice safe posting! Don't paint and post (from a ladder)!!!!! ;)
-
LOL, DR Singdaw!
Been there and back again - door frame DONE!

Monday.

Congrats to MR BK & Co on their great success. I enjoyed the photos!

Most of my favorite teenage movies were illustrated by DR MBARNUM.....although most of the stars of those films were on the OTHER side of teen age.....
LIFE BEGINS AT 17 is especially entertaining.
I also like:
The Party Crashers
Pitch Perfect....college age kids
Romeo & Juliet - 1968
The Breakfast Club....for the most part
Less Than Zero

It should be on everyone's list, DR JohnG!!

When are you going up for your first sky-diving lesson, DR Ginny?
-
Hayman Island, Australia:
That looks like a nice place to stay. It appears that is a real pool built in front of the ocean. When we walked along the ocean paths in, and near, Sydney we saw a number of pools & swimming areas built right into the ocean.

LOL, I won't even go up to the second step of our painting ladder without Richard standing next to me!
If I did want to take up sky-diving I could patronize the thriving business at Hook Field, our local airport.

I'm up - eight hours, I guess.

That was part of the appeal of ordering the dish. Butter was the other appeal. The broccoli was not.

Congrats, BK, on ANOTHER successful Kritzerland show!! :D
-
Some of you have seen this photo on Facebook, but I thought I'd share here the dramatic difference this paint job is making. This is Richard's closet and I have now painted the frame to match the walls. The new color is much bluer than it looks in the picture.

-
There are far too many frustrations today and they are working my last nerve.
-
Nice, DR Ginny!
Are you using that blue "painter's" tape?
Thanks, DR Singdaw!
Yes, we're using the blue tape on the wood floor for painting the baseboards. I was going to use it on the window I painted last week, but Richard said just paint and scrape afterwards. That worked OK, I'm going to try taping when we get to the monster picture window that takes up most of the north (and last) wall. When we cover the window with the somewhat darker blue drapes I've ordered, it will be like having a painted "accent" wall.

Did some banking, and am relaxing right now until I leave for the lunch meeting, after which I shall be on my way to the screening. Looks like our NY dates will be November 15 and 16, a Saturday and Sunday night. Right now, the Saturday show would be the Sherman Brothers evening - two shows, seven and nine-fifteen, and Sunday could well end up being the show we did last night, because Jason Graae thinks he can get to NY for it, since he won't be that far away.

Nice paint job DR GINNY.
Good NYC news.....if I win the lottery later this summer, I will be able to go.
Just got a Facebook message from the Stage Manager of Steel Magnolias who is upset that her photo is not in the news story on the website. I told her with the exception of the director, I usually only post photos of cast members. The photo I took of her and her daughter....the stage crew....will be used in the slide show in the lobby....
No comment from her since.

Congrats to DR ELMORE on his millstone.
AND what a great dolphin photo!

DR Ginny your bedroom is going to feel very different once you are done. It should be very cheerful with the light blue.
It's a huge improvement, DR Jane! I'm only in there to sleep, but Richard's closet, dresser, desk, and library are in that room so he spends a lot of time there. We may have enough paint left over for me to use in my Momcave across the hall. That's where I have my closet, dresser, desk, library, TV, recliner, and craft stuff. But that's a project for after we get the kids settled and Richard and I get back from France.

Congratulations, DR Elmore!

Thank you, BK, that's excellent news.
Hell, that put me in a downright good mood!
Not that I'd been in a bad one. But it sure did improve it. :)

In my experience, when I'm doing tech, it's rare to even get a bio in the program, let alone a picture anywhere. :-\

Thanks for the link DR DRUXY.
LOL DR SINGDAW - actually I posted the slideshow on the theatre page on BookFace so she is front and center just where she wants to be....although I didn't include enough information in the bio, you know.....including last weekend's Miss Indiana Something or Other where her daughter won an award for volunteering for something.....

Great news about the New York shows, BK!
-
LOL, DR Jane, we've already asked them to paint our bedroom ceiling while we're away!
Are you going with white for the ceiling?
Probably. They've been using this ceiling paint upstairs that goes on pink and turns white when it dries. They think they'll have enough left over for our ceiling.
-
Interesting paint. Is there something special about it?
I looked it up. It is so you can see the paint on the ceiling more easily while you paint.
-
I hope they aren't using the pink paint in the bathroom. I just read the following:
"I painted my bathroom ceiling with this and every time we take a shower it turns pink. It has been over 3 weeks."
;D
This was problem was mentioned several times. The comments were for Glidden Pink to White ceiling paint.
-
LOL, DR Jane, I'll warn them!
-
It reminds me of the blue hair cream Bryan used in high school. When we put the house of for sale we had to paint the ceiling of his shower because it was blue. He stopped using it after that-lol

Low VOC paint doesn't smell that bad. Also, you can get this stuff that absorbs the odor.

Well, yesterday I went to Wal-Mart and looked at TVs. I saw one or two I liked and came home to research check out the dimensions etc. I ended up getting a 40 inch Vizio smart TV. It was really highly rated on Cnet and other sites. I absolutely love it. It's amazing how much the technology has changed since I bought the one I've had in my living room for the last 7 years
-
May you continue to be pleased with it. The newer technology is nice.

Back from the screening. When people find out about this they are going to be very happy. It was actually supposed to be announced in May (that the restoration was happening) but it didn't. However, the plan is for a Blu-ray to be issued in November, so not too long of a wait. If it looked spectacular projected from a Blu-ray test disc on a huge screen, it's going to look amazing on our home screens. That said, Mr. Harris and I were sitting there joking and imagining all the complaints from those horrid little people who complain and know better about everything.

tonight I made chicken breast which have marinated in an orange juice/garlic/white wine mixture for 24 hours, I served this with steamed broccoli and a quinoa/wildrice mixture with almonds and cranberries and a chicken /orange glace gravy
they both loved the chicken, gravy and broccoli - the quinoa mixture was not a hit
-
and it has nothing to do with healthy
They'll both eat broccoli
Vixdad will eat brussells sprouts
neither will eat cabbage, sauerkraut, or red cabbage although Vixdad will eat coleslaw
neither will touch spinach , turnips, squash or eggplant
they will eat carrots but not enthusiastically, same with corn and green beans
they both love peas

That said, Mr. Harris and I were sitting there joking and imagining all the complaints from those horrid little people who complain and know better about everything.
Yer killing me. :)

Well, yesterday I went to Wal-Mart and looked at TVs. I saw one or two I liked and came home to research check out the dimensions etc. I ended up getting a 40 inch Vizio smart TV. It was really highly rated on Cnet and other sites. I absolutely love it. It's amazing how much the technology has changed since I bought the one I've had in my living room for the last 7 years
Glad you like your new TV.

I'm popping in very late here this evening. It's been quite a busy crazy day, and I'm just now settling down to catch up.
Mostly, I wanted to thank you, BK, first, for the wonderful show last evening, and for that luscious material from Time and Again that suits so well what I do best. And secondly, thank you for the lovely words you posted about my work last night. It was a true joy to be a part of last evening's stellar Kritzerland show.
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Monday. Catch up with you all on the morrow, I hope. :D

The helper is finally back from her vacation - too damn long this time.

And now, I must be off to the theater. The sound designer is actually in the show, so hopefully what he wrote in the script last night will be easy for me to follow.
Until later!
Well, tonight's run-through of "The Tempest" was the first with costumes, lights and sound, and other than the few goobers because of all the added elements, it went pretty well. It all took about three hours, but we stop and start and go back a few times. Not a bad first run-through. I do have to say that it's not very "Oz"-y. That's supposed to be the concept, but I didn't see it...some of the sound cues, but not much other than that.
-
The sound cues that I had were fairly well marked. Our stage manager was in the house and I couldn't always hear her say "go" when I needed to set one off, but other than that, they sounded pretty good.

Interesting...I wonder what it'll be!
