In about 30 minutes I will head down to Toyland. I will wait for an Office Depot delivery, then head home.

I only vaguely remember hearing about the actual incident, and depending on how or where I heard it, I might very well have attributed it to urban legend. I don't think I would even have the patience of a BK (which is really saying something! :) ) when it comes to watching something like that.

There was a Huffington Post story today on 9 common things that used to be taboo. One was that a person did not call after 9 p.m. In my world that is still taboo. And I would add calling before 8 a.m. (or later if you know the person's habits).

Is this person on the East Coast? I have found people forget about the time difference. Calls have come in early for Keith because they know he is up. No one seems to care if I am-lol

Post by: Jrand73 on July 10, 2014, 12:26:10 PM: I am now off to work in the box office for the opening night of Steel Magnolias. I also work the window during intermission and help clean up afterwards.....and then I am done until next Wednesday.

Today a neighbor put a nice computer task chair out by the road with a FREE sign on it.....I brought it home and tried it out. Seems to be fine - so I am also taking that to the theatre with me. We can always use seating of all kinds around the place.

I am hoping the wigs look better tonight than they did in the paper yesterday.

I've been thinking about The Silkworm since I finished it. I didn't like it as well the first one. I think it could have ended a lot sooner and been better, but I love the characters and am looking forward to the next installment.

I have so many I've recommended already I didn't even look. Interesting, when I checked if my library had the book it showed they only had the audio version. Just now when I did an advance search the book showed up with an option to put a hold on it. I'm basically full on my holds so I only put it on my wish list.

At least my "additional titles" works now. In the beginning nothing ever came up, even a book you told me was in the list of books.

I have one book, "The Target" by David Baldacci I requested that is now on my hold list. I am first of 52 people in the queue. The problem is the library still hasn't gotten the book in yet it was transferred to my holds taking up precious space. It has been there at least a month-very odd.

Post by: singdaw on July 10, 2014, 07:03:01 PM: The yoga class was interesting. As a neophyte, I loved the relaxation and the breathing. However, I have so much internal/abdominal fat that I found it difficult at times to keep breathing during some of the poses.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and will go back for the next several weeks (the length of this particular course).

I was told to drink lots of water tonight, as many toxins will be released. And that I will likely be quite sore tomorrow.

Post by: George on July 11, 2014, 12:17:24 AM: Tonight's "Tempest" with our very first audience (free preview) went quite well. There were only a few lines skipped, but I'm sure that the audience couldn't tell. The actors just kept going. The whole show lasted about 2 hours and 10 minutes and was well received.
