I love Leguizamo - he's a genius on stage. Plus, he makes one purdy lady -- Too Wong Foo!
I just missed the cut off to amend my final post from "yesterday" I wanted to add: My heart still goes out to those who lost their lives on 9/11 and I am thankful for the many men and women who protect our freedom so that this tragedy never happens again!
Still working on applause on the egress.....we shall see.

Well, I managed to get the photo onto Facebook, but keep being told it's too large for here. If someone who's in both places can figure out how to get it to post here, I'd appreciate it.
I"m interviewing three people this morning for my legal assistant position. Starting part time to go full time if it works out. I've done two interviews and am very happy so far. One more to go then I'm going to make a decision.
And the word of the day is: LIDO!

Good morning, all! I stayed up too late finishing The Hyde Park Headsman, and it liked it very much. I think I may make a trek to the Lincoln Center library at noon and drop off a pile of opera CDs that John McGlinn had checked out around 2009and never managed to return.
I need to call up the beautiful Richard Rodgers scrapbooks from 1925-1930 and look at all of the Chee-Chee clippings and programs. My thoughts on a song that was added late to the score in tryout and its performers does not agree with the conclusions of John McGlinn and Robert Kimball in The Complete Lyrics of Lorenz Hart, and I'm hoping the clippings may have an answer.
Rex Smith -- Now there's a name I haven't read or heard in a long, long, long time.
Did he implode or something?

She types 45-55 words per minute. She's also a boxer.
I am very happy and very relieved. Seriously Myrna has all the qualifications I was looking for and both Bob and I really like her. We're going to start part time on a trial basis, but I have a good feeling that this will work out

I hope they don't stick you with the overdue fine.
DR Ginny, this photo?
Well, mes amis, I have a 5:15am wake-up call tomorrow and will be E & T until we're home. Thank you for accompanying us on this trip to France!
See y'all tomorrow afternoon!
Well we had a wonderful opening night last night.....quite a large crowd....and it was a good audience that was laughing from beginning to end.
We ended at about 10:30 p.m. which was good.
Banjo and Lorraine were the big hits of the evening, although everyone got their share of laughs. I must say that I got applause twice in my first sequence....manhandling Miss Preen and then doing my "song" and dance.
Still working on applause on the egress.....we shall see.

Here is an interesting Tacoma news flash!
There is a wild black bear wandering around Point Defiance Park and the surrounding neighborhood.
Hmm. Guess who lives in the surrounding neighborhood?

So, last night's run was much better than the night before. Tonight we have our paid preview audience and tomorrow we open.
That's all I got. Isn't that enough?
It is never a good time to lose someone we love but that had to be extra difficult.
I remember! And that wasn't the first drag role that he played, either.
Vendredi morning greetings! It's actually about noon and we've been for a walk through Cimitiere du Montparnasse.

Never did The Love Boat. I was up for the role that Fred Grandy played, and the producer of the show is someone I went to LACC with, so you'd think he might have called at some point, but alas.
He's on at least one of those STAGE recordings that BK produced.
Friday!
TOD: Nothing!

We managed to use the Paris Metro to the Eiffel Tower and back. We had a lovely cruise on the Seine followed by late lunch/early dinner in a sidewalk cafe. I'll post a picture of the cafe soon.. Oh to have crepes in Paris. I am so glad you are sharing your visit with us
Now we're refreshing at our hotel and will go out for crepes for dessert later.

I loved their harmonies -- must have been a chick thing! ;D
Seeing Kevin Kline in PIRATES made me lust for him; THE BIG CHILL made me fall in love.
I shan't comment.
Good to have you here, BwayAnge.
No, I've never seen that. What browser are you using?
I remember! And that wasn't the first drag role that he played, either.
Do tell, what was his first drag role? Birdcage came to mind, but don't think he was in the movie! LOL
When locksmith Bobby gets out of prison after a two year sentence for stealing money from parking meters, his wife Ginny* is waiting outside for him. So is Ruby, a transvestite who was Bobby's cell mate and became his lover in prison. Bobby spurns Ruby, but he finds himself unable to reconnect with Ginny once they're back home together. He's in love, and it's not with her. Is there any way he can sort this out?* played by Edie Falco
Time to head to the theater...I'm ushering for a block party at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts. It'll essentially just be crowd control. Easy as pie. :D
Be back later.
