A Very, Very Happy Birthday to DR Elmore!!!
Hmmm.... was greeted with this message this morning:

DR elmore3003 - I do truly wish you a most joyous celebration today, and abundant health and happiness all through the coming year. No one deserves it more.
Happiest and most pleasant of birthdays to my fellow HHW Midwesterner - now Noo Yorkah - DR ELMORE, whose posts always brighten my day and whose insight is impeccable and spot on.
A Very Happy Birthday to DR elmore3003!! :D
Is the DH also a singer?
DR JENNIFER - could you have closed your scissors up in one of your scrapbooks?
And I join with DR Jrand64 in wishing ~ ~ ~ OPENING NIGHT BREAK-A-LEG VIBES ~ ~ ~ to DR ChasSmith and Company!
WELL.....I must say that we had our best (and biggest) audience yet last night. And the show was really terrific. There are some slow spots due mostly to one particular person....but everyone else works at getting the pace up....so we are mostly forgiven.
AND I got applause TWICE during my scene and lots and lots of laughs which is always fun. I added a couple of bits last night - of course I let Sheridan know, since any kind of change always leaves him at a loss - and both landed.
I am hoping there will be video evidence....time will tell.
Happy Birthday, DR Elmore! I wish you much CAKE!
The greatest of birthday wishes to our own, our one and only, DR elmore3003.
Here's to a really good, successful, and happy year.
I will be gone from HHW for much of this weekend, starting this afternoon, as I will be attending a choir retreat with my DH.
H A P P Y B I R T H DA Y, L A R R Y "E L M O"!!
To my dear friend, DR Elmore...you always make me smile and laugh! Love you, and wish you a wonderful happy birthday!

BK, I very much enjoyed hearing about the Bewitched event. Glad you had a good time!
And the bookshelf job has begun. I need two sherpas holding and passing books and another with a huge fan.
And it actually was fun
Thank you all for the vibes. They helped. I didn't trip over either feet or tongue. And it actually was fun, for as short as it was.
Just finished my fourth week at the new job. Still pinching myself. It's been ages since I've had a kind employer. The company is owned by a husband and wife -- she was a high school classmate. They are thrilled to have me as a part of their team
Enjoyed DR John G's interview and now I want some Smoke Shack Mac!
Happy Birthday to DR Elmore!
Thank you, DR Jennifer!
I hope those scissors turn up before someone gets injured.
I did not get chosen to usher for Paul McCartney. Bummer.
Happy Birthday to DR Elmore!
Thank you, DR Jennifer!
I hope those scissors turn up before someone gets injured.
I am the only person who could lose foot long scissors. :)
A Very Happy Birthday to DR elmore3003!! :D
Yes, I did indeed miss our DR George! This is most embarrassing. Maybe senility smacks you on the side of the head as soon as you pass 67?
Thank you, DR George!
DR George, ne more!
We're on page 4.

I'm not even 50 and senility's already started smacking me. ::)

I had to pop in to wish a
Happy Birthday to DR Elmore!
I hope it's a joyous celebration day for you!
The Bewitched gathering sounds like it was fun. I loved that show.
I'm running amok amok amok this weekend, rehearsing the 29 hour reading of Where's Charley?, which performs Sunday night, and prepping for Ragtime which begins Monday. All I need it a maid and a laundry goddess. And a food shopper. And a winning lotto ticket to be able to pay them. Happy to be busy finally. :D
Things are hopping.
NFL Chairman is on television trying to save his job.....he is not doing very well.
You are welcome DR JOHNG - I think you will like the pilot the best....but Robert Urich is fun on the regular series.
No luck on finding the scissors yet.
DR Jane, no my nieces have not been over. But they would not have touch them. These are huge scissors. Not something you'd even think you could lose.
I had to rush off this morning before wishing DR elmore a very happy birthday!!
ENJOY YOUR SPECIAL DAY!!!

The shirt was partially for work. We wear red on Fridays to remember all the men and women who are serving to defend the country.
Happy Birthday to DR Elmore!
Thank you, DR Jennifer!
I hope those scissors turn up before someone gets injured.
I am the only person who could lose foot long scissors. :)
Are you having a special Birthday dinner, Elmore?

DR Jennifer, I always seem to lose my scissors. I have even purchased extra pairs. I must have at least four now. Don't know where any of them are.
I am SO retarded sometimes. The Courts e-mail today had the date September 19th right at the top of the e-mail - but I didn't notice it said it was a September 19th UPDATE - the show itself is actually next Friday night and Saturday day and I will be there for all of it. Whew! Ray wrote me right back and said, "If you show up tomorrow you'll be the only celebrity there - the show is next week." :)

HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS TO MY DEAR ELMORE!!!!!!
I made it through the week!!!! Hip Hip Hooray!
Happy Birthday, DR elmore!! Enjoy your dinner!
So, for DR Laura, the dinner report:
We began with drinks; Bruce had Tanqueray and I had gin and tonic. Then we began with delicious, flakey fried onion rings. Really quite wonderful.
Bruce had the turkey dinner: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberries, and corn; and I had meatloaf, green salad, mashed potatoes and gravy. Very wonderful.
For dessert, Bruce had a slice of coconut cake, and I had a huge 4-layered pumpkin ginger spice cake with a cream cheese frosting that was scrumptious beyond belief. I wish I had a slice for breakfast!
My darling Elmore how did I not realize it was your birthday! I am sorry these greetings come so late in the day but they are heartfelt despite their tardiness
Happiest of birthdays to you - may the upcoming year bring you joy, love, fascinating and exciting career opportunities, renewed health and strength and financial security
Lots of love you my friend!!
Sounds like a wonderful dinner. It is exactly what I would have ordered. Except for the gin and tonic.
From DR Bway:QuoteJust finished my fourth week at the new job. Still pinching myself. It's been ages since I've had a kind employer. The company is owned by a husband and wife -- she was a high school classmate. They are thrilled to have me as a part of their team
You are very, very lucky :)
From what I can tell the major employer in Weed, the town that lost 150 building over the border from us, is a wood mill. They are sending a good number of their employees to work in Oregon. They will be paid whichever job was at the highest level, be it their job in California or Oregon. Others will remain in Weed to repair the mill. Those who won't have work will receive unemployment. Best of all, all those who lost their homes will be found temporary housing by the mill.
Well, I was never blessed with romance or a thriving career, since that seems virtually dead at the moment, but fortune has surrounded me with the best group of friends on- and off-line that anyone could wish for. I've been quite blessed in that dept. and I am very grateful for it.

Thanks, I'm lucky indeed!
My heart goes out to the folks of Weed. I couldn't imagine such devastation. Thank goodness there are kind neighbors in Oregon.

I could use a whole barrel of that mac.
The shirt was partially for work. We wear red on Fridays to remember all the men and women who are serving to defend the country.

May the coming year bring you improvement in health, interesting new work, and resolution of difficult issues!

Enjoyed your book-promotion clip, John G. I would have liked to have heard more from you and Bonnie, but it's still good plug for the book.

I was really blown away the best I was hoping for was that they would waive the uprade fees or waive the roaming charges - they waived everything!
I love your mom, Cillaliz.
I'm watching The Roosevelts Man this is a long series but it holds my interest
I'm watching The Roosevelts Man this is a long series but it holds my interest
My parents asked me to record it for them, but they asked after the first episode, so I missed it. I just looked (again) on OnDemand and it's there! I can record it from that.
