Well, you've read the notes, the notes needed a remake, and now it is time for you to post until the remade cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: AZOTH!
-
first after BK
-
I probably wont be here tonight as I have to be up at 3 Am to get ready a to be picked up for my flight the car comes at 4 and I am working a full day and still need to pack
-
I doubt I will have anothere opportunity to post until Monday as when i am not actually meeting with people I expect to be driving or sleeping
-
"The Car Comes at 4 a.m." - the title of a new horror film that will keep you up at night
-
Travel vibes to vixmom!

good morning to all

I may of missed your response last week but

Question for BK: what can you tell us about casting for the New York shows?
-
ASK BK
I may of missed your response last week but
Who updated the lyrics in The Grass Is Always Greener on the new And the World Goes Round?
I did the two new lines - about health care and Michael Riedl.
-
Question for BK: what can you tell us about casting for the New York shows?
I'll be able to announce complete casting in a day or two - it's a lot of our LA folk, which I'm really happy about, plus a couple of surprises.
-
Same thing as last night - woke up ninety minutes after I fell asleep and I'm hoping this is the last time it happens.
-
Trying to catch up. I'm thinking after the Oct 15 extended tax deadline, work will be very calm, just about like it was right after April 15.
-
Good morning, all!
I finally got a good night's sleep, abut nine and a half hours, and that's great. I've got the Round Two Encores! work to begin, and, I think, a visit from our DR ChasSmith around noon.
I have nothing else to report.
-
BK,
You're watching movies with my former clients in them.
Timothy Scott was in THE PARTY and Sydney Lassick was in the original CARRIE.
I recall visiting the set for THE PARTY a couple of times. They shot it at the old Goldwyn Studio.
-
Good morning, all. Why is it only just Wednesday?
-

Thanks, BK!
-
Yes, "The Party" is not a good film, but the couple of good bits in it are still funny to watch-- and still funny to even think about. Luckily with VCR's and DVD's, we can just watch the parts we want and skip the rest.
-
Thank you DR Vixmom!
It is so odd when you have something and you don't even realize how much you depend on it (i.e., the long scrapbooking scissors). I was trying to cut out a typed title. And I was so crooked without the long scissors.
-
DR Ginny, do you know a woman named MJ Milillo?
-
DR John G, I do know MJ, but not well. She and I were at a mutual friend's tea party back in August, but didn't get a chance to chat one-on-one.
-
Another knock-out video from the Kritzerland show!
-
I have never seen any of the Carrie screen incarnations. I like a few songs from the musical version.
-
Thank you, Jane, for your concern about my hand yesterday. I did soak it in rubble alcohol to prevent infection. Only one tooth actually broke the skin on the palm side, but I didn't even notice that the small puncture until later. It was the pressure on the back of my hand that hurt so much because there's no padding there, but no punctures. The bruising and swelling has gone way down now and my hand looks fairly normal. It's still sore, but I think that will be gone in a week or so.
-
I think DR AMY's new product RUBBLE ALCOHOL should be on shelves everywhere!

Nice video in the notes.....I like the original CARRIE but nothing in any of the remakes OR the musical version.....
-
My question for ASK BK Day is....what is your favorite "answer" song?
-
Another Wednesday, and I cannot think of a single Ask BK question.
-
I don't think I cared very much for the original CARRIE. I saw it back when it first showed on HBO or Showtime or something, but don't recall feeling one way or the other about it.
Same with Fraggle Rock.
-
DR TCB asked about new network shows this season: I enjoyed the first episode of A TO Z. Very cute and the lead actors are quite good. Plus my buddy Parvesh is in the cast.
Have watched two episodes of BLACKISH, but it just isn't as funny as it could be. I will try one more episode.
I have not checked out any other new programs.
-
Good morning.
-
I'm up, barely - I have no idea how much I've slept - maybe five hours, but after a phone call I have to make, I'm going back to bed.
-
DR TCB - I kind of like FOREVER.....
-
I didn't like Carrie when I first saw it. The appeal of John Travolta escapes me.
But when I started reading Stephen King, I went back and watched it again. Only then did I appreciate it. And I really flipped for the two central performances.
-
DR Ginny, I supposedly worked with MJ at the Journal, but I don't remember her. My friends in Atlanta are moving to Dayton soon and she posted something on their Facebook announcement about those days.
-
I probably wont be here tonight as I have to be up at 3 Am to get ready a to be picked up for my flight the car comes at 4 and I am working a full day and still need to pack

Congratulations, Jack!!

re: new tv shows this Fall that I have watched:
Madame Secretary. I like this a lot. And it makes a nice combo with The Good Wife.
I have also watched the Debra Messing show, I think it's called The Mysteries of Laura. I sort of like it although certain episodes have been better than others.

DR elmore3003 will fix their wagon!

DR singdaw, I have no idea why the mp3 ROBERTA wn't be for sale until November, and i will inquire.
-
I have also watched the Debra Messing show, I think it's called The Mysteries of Laura.
Oh, I had thought the show was titled I LOVE LAURA. No wonder I couldn't find it in the TV listings.
:)

I'm very relieved. I remember the extreme pain from my bite that put me in the hospital.

We are also enjoying this one but were very annoyed at the husband and his integrity in the last episode.

Thank you DR JANE and DR MBARNUM and DR LAURA. I do not think there will be a red carpet....but I am sure there will be photos.

I wanted to watch this, but I kept forgetting. Hopefully, it's on OnDemand.

Yesterday, in the mail from Canada, we finally received a painted shutter we ordered for our wall.
-
BK's landlord is on ELLEN today.
-
I feared the photo would not do it justice.
-
If you didn't guess, the dogs are Bernese Mountain Dogs.
-
We had a wall in the hallway that has been empty all these years and this really looks great there. The colors are lovely in person.
-
Been having an infuriating time with Dropbox on my laptop. It's using my hard drive and has taken up all the space. I called, they don't have phone support, and I have tried for two hours to do what they say will remove the stuff from the hard drive, none of which works at ALL. And, of course, there's nothing to do about it because you can't talk to anyone. For the moment it's off the menu bar but the files remain on the hard drive and I simply do not know how to remove them.
-
That is some beautiful wall art, DR Jane!!
-
Thank you. It was frustrating as we had to wait a very long time. The artist searches for extra light weight shutters to use when she ships them.
-
Good morning, all. Why is it only just Wednesday?
This morning, I was certain today was Thursday for some reason!
-
Enjoying "And the World Goes Round!"
-
Great timing: Brent B is doing his Kander and Ebb Show in NYC on November 10, 12 and 13.

DR Jane - that is so lovely. I know that you and DH Keith will enjoy it for many years!

Thank you. From the opposite side it looks more like shadows. I don't know why but it is kind of cool to see it change as we move around.

Thank you DR Singdaw.

Naughty, naughty. You know JRand's blood pressure doesn't need to spike!

I had a loverly luncheon with DR ChasSmith, and I am home and back to PAINT YOUR WAGON.
Good morning afternoon evening, all.
Had a very enjoyable day running an errand in the city and then visiting and lunching with DR Elmore... who has inadvertently let the cat out of bag, seeing as how Loverly Luncheons with DR ChasSmith is the title of my upcoming radio show, to be syndicated in major markets.
-
HA!

-
Nice work, Jane.
-
Just bought my tickets for Louisville for Christmas. I'll be leaving Dec. 18 and returning Dec. 29.
-
Bruce did you know Art, of Art's Deli in Studio City, went to Hami?
-
Thank you DR John.

Hello, everyone.
-
Healing vibes for DR Amy's hand and for a complete recovery.
-
Travel vibes to Vixmom and to any other DRs who need them.
-
Congrats on the Upstage award, DR Jrand. It is a good thing, isn't it?
This is what I was thinking, too. Congrats, in any case.
-
Healing vibes for DR Amy's hand and for a complete recovery.
An extra dose.
-
Congrats, DR Jrand64!
Do you have your speech prepared?
-
There is definitely a Mercury retrograde in my 'hood. Last week I had a computer problem, easily solved with some $$$. Today I spent several hours trying to straighten out a check I'd sent to the East Coast, which somehow got lost along the way. Ugh.
-
I have no news, only grousing.
-
Vibes to all.
TTFN.
-
Yes DR JEANNE but this Mercury retrograde only lasts until October 25.
-
DR CHAS SMITH I have had my speech prepared for about 8 years. I have won this award three times previously...and there is one other three-time winner.
It would be nice to be the Katharine Hepburn of the Putnam County Playhouse, so to speak.
-
Yes it is a good thing.
-
HA!
And yes I found out today that I have been nominated for the Upstage Award for my performance as BANJO in "The Man Who Came to Dinner."
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
That is exciting news!
-
George, you are okay! I heard about the police arresting the naked man
running around Lacey and Olympia. I thought it might be you!

Oh my. I just caught up with what came in the today's mail, and it appears I owe some thanks all around...
To DR John G. -- not only for a beautifully inscribed copy of his book on Texas barbecue (which I dare not read while hungry), but for a bonus book that is an absolute treasure. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And to DR Elmore, for catching me before I ordered ROBERTA and sending me home with a copy. I'd listened to the first disc at Toyland, so already knew what a beautiful thing it is. Tomorrow, all of it ... and I can't wait to dive into those liner notes.
Who else would like some thanks for something? Step right up! :)
-
Yes, Brent is doing his show - and he was originally going to stay and do our Sherman Brothers show, but he has back problems and is having some minor surgery here, so he's now leaving the day after his show is done.
-
And where are our East Coast dear readers' reservations. So far it's only a handful of folks.
-
Well, it's time for me to leave for the theater. Tonight is the final dress/invited preview. We've presold about 10 tickets for opening night! I think we're going to do well with this show. :)
Be back later.
-
Congrats to Jrand 64 on your nomination!
-
I really like "The Rink" on "And the World Goes Round." I'd never heard it before!

I'm disappointed about that but of course his health comes first.
-
Love Jason's ending to "Sara Lee!"
-
Congratulations, JRand!
-
Waiting for the arrival of the dinner companion. Supposed to be six-thirty and I hope it is because I'm STARVING.
-
In and Out Burgers is going to open a location in Medford, OR!
-
It is all over the news ;D We, of course, will not be driving stopping. I haven't even read where in Medford it will be.
-
Amazon has sold out of ROBERTA! That pleases me very much.
Yay!
-
Five!
-
Laura, your endquote today is wonderful. If only I could remember that for the next time the phone rings.

I have been tossing and turning for the past three hours and i cannot get to sleep tonight. Damn!
-
AARRGGHH!! I have a cold! >:( I could feel something coming on during our rehearsal, and now my nose is running and my throat is kind of scratchy. NOOOOOOO!!!
-
I stopped at Safeway and got some cold medicine. I can only hope that it works quickly.
-
I'm not going to be able to sleep well tonight and probably not for the next few days. :(
-
Tomorrow night is the opening night of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [revised]." And I took the day off because early tomorrow afternoon, I'm driving a friend to the airport.
-
Laura, your endquote today is wonderful. If only I could remember that for the next time the phone rings.

Tonight, I am joining the insomniac club.

Mainly, I think, because my dear spouse just sneezed nine times in a row!
-
But let's just stay all night, and I'll sing 'em all!
-
To paraphrase Miss Judy Garland.
-
Well, at least they can't say that we didn't reach Page 6.
-
Well, they could.
-
Guess I should write some notes, eh?
-
Say it, I mean.
-
But they'd be BIG FAT LIARS.
-
Guess I should write some notes, eh?
How about C, E, G, and B flat?

Since I have a cold (it's official), and I need to drive my friend to the airport tomorrow, I MUST get some sleep, so I'm going to bed.
Good night, Sing (and anyone else)!
