I also noticed that there are two songs written by Stanley Sherman the composer who was murdered on the night his musical Bus and Truck opened on Broadway.

I got home around 11:00 from what turned out t be a belated birthday celebration with my friend George. I had computer problems once again, so perhaps I'm correct and it's this new modem after all. Once I was online again, I checked my emails, read a bit, and turned off the lights around 12:30.

I had planned to go to Toyland this morning, and stay home tomorrow to work on Paint Your Wagon, but it's too late in the morning so I will reverse my proposed schedule.

My cold seems to be over for the mst part, but I send vibes to DRs Jeanne, ChasSmith, and any others in need.

Do you wear hiking boots? I haven't had any in years and just wear my running shoes. I am walking around the house in a new pair of hiking shoes, vs boots that went up my ankles. I'm deciding to keep them or not. I really need water proof/resistant shoes for the winter which these are.

Post by: Jane on October 18, 2014, 03:15:10 PM: I tend to prefer my eggs rather basic, boiled, egg salad, and deviled. I also like fresh scrambled eggs with only a little salt & pepper added. Occasionally I will add avocado & caramelized onion to my scrambled eggs. I'll eat an omelet but rarely enjoy it. They tend to be overcooked and often rather tasteless after having fresh eggs at home. I also cook my scrambled eggs in just a wee bit of olive oil, not butter.

I love a good omelet, but I will eat most restaurant ones. I ~~make~~ made a better one at home.

I love egg salad sandwiches and deviled eggs. My Aunt Connie (who was a real life Auntie Mame) used to make half of her deviled eggs topped with caviar. I would try to avoid those.

We also did "Law Lover" (Oliver) and The Methods Man (The Music Man) I helped write all three of them and was in all three of them. My favorite song in The Methods Man was Barry Matsumoto for Gary Indiana. He was a law professor then and was very well liked, I don't remember all the lyrics, but it was fun

I forgot there was a live orchestra most of the time. The movie was great to watch on a big screen

She had planned a reception afterward and announced that everyone staying for it should stay in the theater and everyone leaving should leave, then when the tables were set up everyone could go to the reception. LOL!!! Right, like 2500 people are going to listen to her. Almost everyone left the theater. They hung around in the lobby until the cupcakes and cookies came, loaded up on them and left. It was more of a frenzy than a reception. And yes, I got a cupcake, a cookie and a glass of punch

No, thank goodness, but this monkey was only about 2 years old, so he wouldn't have scared me.

We had ANOTHER filled house! And they were another great audience. There is just tomorrow night then next week's last four performances, and we're done with "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [revised]."

I thought I was going to choke to death...not literally of course, but it felt pretty damned close. I was up in the tech deck, but since it was so dark, I couldn't see enough to even go down the five steps and go outside. I tried to stifle my coughing as much as I could, but I'm sure that I disturbed the people in the back row, but it was dark and I couldn't see.
