Well, you've read the notes, the notes were painful, and now it is time for you to post until the painful cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SEMPITERNAL!
-
Morning all.
That is all.

The Midtown International Theatre Festival awards event was quite a do, well beyond what i was expecting in terms of the size and planning of the event.
The thing that I’d been told by several who've been there to get ready for but still was surprised and overwhelmed by, was the amazing joy of having created a “star vehicle” and have the star of that vehicle, Jennifer Pace, get the Outstanding Actress award in a tremendously competitive category.
A chat friend who gets to the point asked if it was as good as the show overall getting one of the other nominated awards? As I told him, I’ll never know that, but Jennifer’s win as Best Actress at that moment felt like a win for our whole company of five.
The awards our show was up for were all in the first half, and while the awards for the overall shows went (as the buzz expected) to John Frida’s stellarly ambitious Alien Adventure, it was a thrill to hear us in the nominations alongside so much work that I’d admired in the festival.

I put more thoughts on my blog if anyone's interested http://music-and-comedy.blogspot.com/

Good morning, all!

Vibes for a quick diagnosis and speedy fix for the dental pain!
-
Dental vibes for BK.
-
Sorry about your tooth, Bruce. Wishing you a speedy and painless resolution (or at least as painless and speedy--- and cheaply-- as possible).
-
More dental vibes to BK!
-
Good morning, all.
Great news, Fred, for Jennifer, you and your whole company.
Thanks, JohnG!
-
Congrats to FJL!
-
Tuesday morning greetings! I crashed last night after the AAUW board meeting. Today I have some errands to do and, of course, there are thunderstorms predicted.
-
Congratulations to DR FJL! Was there a red carpet?
-
Congrats to FJL!
Thanks, Chas!
-
Dental vibes for BK!

-
~ ~ ~ CONTINUED GOLDEN THROAT VIBES ~ ~ ~ for bk, as well!!!!!!
-
Congratulations to DR FJL! Was there a red carpet?
Thanks, Ginny!
I had hoped, and it looked like there was going to be a "red carpet" as one approached the theater, but it turned out to be people just doing a little random filming (maybe for YouTube later on?). Many people were dressed up ultra-fabulously, especially some of the people who were going to perform. If they do put some of the outfits online, I'll look for them and try to link them.
-
Fantastic award news for DR FJL and his entire company! :)
Thanks, singdaw!

Off to the office!

TWO!! TWO!! :)

Home from therapy, and off to work: I have bills to pay from August. Will I ever catch up?
I sure wish some of my positive astrological predictions would come to fruition.
-
Dental vibes for MR BK.
-
Bill catching up vibes for DR ELMORE.
Congrats DR FJL......most excellent win! And thanks for the link to the blog.
-
TOD:
I would pack ALL of the materials from that show in a box so that it could never be produced again.
-
DR VIXMOM.....as DR GEORGE said.....once your DaVinci drawing is finished you have a couple of options for saving at Facebook or Twitter....OR you can right click on it and save it to your computer.....which is what I do so I can crop the Demons logo off the bottom.....
-
Bruce: I'm hazarding a guess that your problem is the tooth under the crown. That has happened to me. One tooth, that had been crowned not six months earlier, abcessed. The dentist denied the tooth was one he had put a crown on. That was my last visit to said "dentist".
At any rate, I'm guessing Dr. Chew will remove the crown and treat the tooth, do a cast and then prep for a new crown.
-
TWO!! TWO!! :)
That's you all over....you're just "two, two"!
-
Am delivering my ballots (three separate ballots in one envelope) to our Registrar of Voters office this morning.
AND...and mailing in my DNA kit. Want to see just what there is to be seen from my DNA regarding where my ancestry truly lies.
-
Am expecting this week the Blu ray issue of the first four Miss Marple movies. At long last. They've restored the Joan Hickson "Marples" for Blu ray.
-
I suppose I'm up. I only got five hours of sleep. Just popped four more Advil but the pain has really subsided today, at least so far, if I can just avoid biting down on that side of my mouth. But I can't get in there until tomorrow afternoon - but he'll have time then to actually do some work if he needs to. Another possibility is that one of the crowns, gold or porcelain, has come loose, because right now my bite is off and it really feels like it's because the crowns are higher than they were.

Left here and delivered about 10 boxes of books to the new book sale site. Went from there to two different groceries to restock the refrigerator. Put most of the groceries away, had lunch, and prepared the corner that's to be measured today for some prep work prior to measuring for the new countertops.
-
TOD: I would pick Hugh Jackman fir Mack because he has both the charisma and the ego for the part. It's easy to see someone fall under his spell, even if he said don't. But I don't know about Mabel.
-
Ginny, I could give you more boxes of books.
-
LOL, DR John G, I only took about half of what we have stacked in the garage.
-
Book Sale!
-
TOD:
If we were doing topsy-turvy casting, I would say Joel Grey for Mack and Carol Channing for Mabel.
-
bk - tomorrow afternoon? I thought they were going to fit you in first thing this morning. I think it would be good for everyone to know what the problem is, even if it can't be rectified until tomorrow.
-
That's you all over....
One of my favorite lines from The Wizard of Oz! :)
-
Good afternoon. How can it be afternoon already?
-
Sending you some dental vibes, BK. I hope the solution is painless and quick.
-
Book Sale!
March 12-15, 2015, DR JRand - how about a road trip?
-
I just completed the huge cleanup. My back is killing me but it's a huge relief to have it accomplished.
-
How can we still be on page two?
-
And how can it only be 2:35 p.m. PDT?
-
DR Elmo: I'm sorry about the achy-breaky back! I'd share my Ibuprofen with you if I could.
-
I'm reviewing the situation about retirement.
Some days it seems improbable for a couple of years.
Some days it seems like tomorrow won't be soon enough.
-
Only a few more pages before we make some progress.
-
This might even be the final post on page 2.
-
Golly gee...page 3.
-
Are we STILL on page 3?
-
Where IS everyone?
-
time will tell DR GINNY.
-
time will tell DR GINNY.
DR JRand, if you drive all the way over here for the book sale, Richard and I will take you to lunch!
-
From DR Cilla:
Are you sure you want to say no?
I think so. The woman said to let her know if we change our minds, which I think is very nice of her. She knows a pup would have a good home here.
Do I want hair all over my house again and having to be tied down, no.
Do I want the laughter, joy & love a pet brings, yes.
Do I want the heartbreak, NO, NO, NO!
-
From Cilla:
Does everyone ask...yes.
:D
-
Where IS everyone?
Well, I've been to a pipe organ recital performed by a friend of mine, went out to lunch downtown, did a ton of errands, and am now cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
-
CONGRATULATIONS DR FJL!!!!
-
If you must know. ;D
-
It is a grey, cold, blustery day here. It feels like winter is upon us.
-
bk - tomorrow afternoon? I thought they were going to fit you in first thing this morning. I think it would be good for everyone to know what the problem is, even if it can't be rectified until tomorrow.
Especially if there is an infection.
-
DENTAL & PAIN FREE VIBES FOR BRUCE!!!!
-
I may be in ANTIGONE rehearsal then DR GINNY.....we shall see.
-
Bill catching up vibes for DR ELMORE.
Congrats DR FJL......most excellent win! And thanks for the link to the blog.
Thank you so much, Jrand!
-
Fred, Congrats on your actress' win and congrats on the nominations! :D
Many thanks, George!!
-
CONGRATULATIONS DR FJL!!!!
Thank you, Jane!!!
-
More and more dental and pain-free vibes to BK!
-
Hmmmmm Facebook just gives me a blank page.
-
Same for me.
-
I purchased a couple of books to read, in two different series, that my library didn't carry. Fortunately they have the next book for each series.
-
It's back now.
-
Uh oh DR JANE, they must have been harvesting our personal information at the same time.
-
I've been in a dry spell with little becoming available from my library.
-
LOL DR Jrand.
-
At first I thought Keith was downloading a large file and my connection was slow. His download has been completed.
-
FB just opened.
-
Who knows.....I bet many people were much more upset than we were!
-
FB just opened.
I didn't have any trouble getting on FB. I guess I missed the issues. :)
-
And since we're so close...
-
PAGE FOUR DANCE!!
-
And on that note (F#), I'm leaving work. I have to go to a meeting for Theater Artists Olympia's "TAO of the Dead 2" fund raiser, which we're having on Saturday, which is the Day of the Dead.
Be back later.
-
Congrats to FJL!
-
DR KevinH - I am assuming that you know about (and/or have already purchased?} this book:

-
Congrats! FJL

SO today I heard.. "You don't need any experience to be a secretary, what's so hard about that?" Yes, the people deciding I need an assistant continues. At the moment I'm not one of them
-
FB just opened.
I didn't have any trouble getting on FB. I guess I missed the issues. :)
It was out for a good while.
-
SO today I heard.. "You don't need any experience to be a secretary, what's so hard about that?" Yes, the people deciding I need an assistant continues. At the moment I'm not one of them
What!?! LOL
-
Does anyone watch Chef Robert Irvine’s “Restaurant: Impossible” show on the Food Network?
The show is coming to Ashland.
-
SO today I heard.. "You don't need any experience to be a secretary, what's so hard about that?" Yes, the people deciding I need an assistant continues. At the moment I'm not one of them
What!?! LOL
Oh, it's been a nonstop people telling me they have a relative or a friend and I should hire them as my assistant. I say, well, I'm not sure if I'm hiring or what I'm looking for, they don't usually accept that. I've decided to just say ok, they can send a resume
-
Ulterior motives, that explains it.
You should easily rule out one requirement, fluency in Spanish.
-
Just been taking it easy. Tooth is okay for now. Took another four Advil about three hours ago.
-
Had a Cobb salad and a bagel for lunch and picked up a couple of packages and the pie of the every other month, which was a Dutch Apple. I was hoping for an Armenian Cranberry, but alas.
-
Pain free tooth vibes for BK
-
Been on the phone foe a couple of hours with Vixgranny , and vixaunty, vixgrandad is back in the hospital. Vibes appreciated
-
I have no knowledge of Mack and Mable. JRand tells me that's a good thing
-
SO today I heard.. "You don't need any experience to be a secretary, what's so hard about that?" Yes, the people deciding I need an assistant continues. At the moment I'm not one of them
. I think you should switch the focus of your practice to New York real estate law and hire me
-
SO today I heard.. "You don't need any experience to be a secretary, what's so hard about that?" Yes, the people deciding I need an assistant continues. At the moment I'm not one of them
Oh! In that case keep on doing immigration law and working with Spanish speaking clients apparently I am equally qualified to be your secretary since I know nothing about immigration law although I do have a smattering of Spanish
-
I would love to hire you Vixmom. I just couldn't afford to pay you what you deserve...and the commute would be a bear
-
I'm really trying to decide what I'm going to do. I'm planning to make some changes. I'm thinking about changing my hours, I'm reorganizing things. I need to finish doing the data entry for the new software and I'm still keeping up with the day to day work. It isn't easy but I'm enjoying it. It's the first time in over 7 years that I can make decisions without having to be concerned about how it impacts anyone else.
-
The next time someone makes a suggestion about how I run my business without me asking them for advice, I'm going to look at them and say "Hey, you get off of my cloud" and see what they do
-
Now I'm going to get some sleep
-
Back -- from observing the final piano dress rehearsal of RAGTIME, my one and only chance to see what the production looks like. And it's pretty nice. I can imagine a few things better here and there, but it's looking and sounding good.
-
Vibes for Vixgrandad, for BK's tooth, and for everybody and everything else that needs 'em.
-
Oh, dear!
-
This is not good.
-
Tooth vibes for BK!
-
I don't even know who is missing.
-
Congratulations to Fred and the entire company
-
FJL, why didn't I know that you had a blog?
-
Five!
-
At least page four is history.
-
Hi, Tom!
-
Our weather has gone to shit.
-
The meeting that I went to tonight for the "TAO of the Dead 2" fund raiser was quite successful.
-
Our weather has gone to shit.
I like the rain.
;D
-
I guess I got spoiled by our beautiful summer and lovely September.
-
I had kind of a bummer of a day
-
At the meeting, we put all the donations together into 10 groups, so that we don't have a bunch of little, individual raffle items. Each group is about $150-$200 in value!
-
I was supposed to go to lunch at the Oyster House in Olympia today, but it was canceled at the last minute.
-
I was really looking forward to going. I have always wanted to go.
-
I had kind of a bummer of a day
That's too bad. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.
-
I was really looking forward to going. I have always wanted to go.
It was just rebuilt earlier this year. It burned down. I only went once, about 20 years ago. All I remember about it is that I really enjoyed the hamburger that I had.
-
Oh well, maybe another time.
-
However, I now have a real craving for some fried oysters!
-
I was supposed to have my physical tomorrow, but I postponed it when the nurse told me that my Medicare does not cover it.
-
So I will need to hand over $200.00 before I can see the doctor.
-
I had not budgeted for that.
-
I have already done my lab work, and I have gotten my results; so I am really sure what I am paying the $200.00 for.
-
I can tell myself to lose weight.
-
Well.........
G'night!
-
Been on the phone foe a couple of hours with Vixgranny , and vixaunty, vixgrandad is back in the hospital. Vibes appreciated
~~~Vibes of All Kinds for Vixgrandad and the Vixfamily!!~~~
