To answer George's question about The Gift of the Magi - this was a newer version of it - by songwriter Beverly Bremers.
Good morning, all.
It's a Sunday morning here, and I am drinking a Krispy Kreme K-cup. Not that those two things have anything to do with each other.

Many, many years ago when I was still single, I wrote this lyric, which Michael Silversher set to music. I think the words were indicative of how people felt about dating way back then.
This weekend, I got inspired; decided to find some footage and turn "I Don't Want to Meet Him" into a music video.

Good job, Druxy - was this written for characters in a show or movie to sing, or a pop number?

Good morning. Had to be at church to set up the computer for a presentation at the 7:00am Mass, in which there is no music, but since I'm the one that deals with the tech in the church, I was there. Now I'm sitting in a Starbucks doing some things on the internet and about ready to head back to said church for the rest of the morning.
Last night the DD and I dressed the house with holly bright and sprigs of mistletoe. Actually, I dressed the house, the DD stayed in the bedroom asleep on the bed. But I got some lights going, inside and outside, decorated the very small tree, and put out some cute decor. I believe that will suffice for the festive-ness of the apartment this season.

He compares the different translations when interpreting scripture for his sermons.
Good morning. Today the children will present the nativity during church. We never know who will show up, so that makes it interesting.I can't wait to hear how it went this year!
A-a-a-and...I'm coming down with a cold >:(
There are a lot of people here who are sick. Seems like half of the kids at school are sick (luckily they are on break now).

This does not surprise me after the emotional week you just had. Vibes it is a mild cold.

and four guests. Who are these "guests" and why don't they come on in and join the fun
I have heard that the Carol Burnett-Bronson Pinchot version of Putting It Together was quite the bloodbath backstage......I have heard.....
I had the video, but I don't have a VCR hooked up to my television anymore....so I can't watch it.

A-a-a-and...I'm coming down with a cold >:(
One of my nieces has a fever and the other has an ear infection.
Most of my symptoms are gone (although my cough is still there and in my chest). But I still have zero energy and am so tired.
Oh my, I didn't even notice it's page 5. Hi George
Now I'm going to get some sleep
Ooooh, oooh, ooooh...

Of course, to really get the posts going, we can always just talk about tater tots.

I still have to learn my half of the Bach duet that I am supposed to be singing on Christmas morning.
Then I had better get cracking on my narrator part for the Schoenberg with orchestra in January. That involves English, German, and Hebrew.
Mmmm...tater tots!
Do you have to memorize them?
Mmmm...tater tots!
With, or without, ketchup?
That is the question.
Do you have to memorize them?
Thank goodness, no.
As I age, I am finding that process increasingly difficult.
Memorization used to come so easily.
Now, it is just an ugly struggle.
Good for you, DR George! :)
