Well, you've read the notes, the notes were interesting on any number of levels, and now it is time for you to post until the leveled cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: NIVEOUS!
-
I didn't sleep very long. I will read another chapter in the new book I began, after the kindle book I gave up on, and hope I fall back to sleep.
-
Well, "The HEAD! That Wouldn'the DIE!" is finally officially over!! We oversold by a couple of seats, but people squeezed in together and we got them all in! :)
-
While the audience obviously loved the show, the weren't as demonstrative as other nights...but we got their money, anyway!
-
Today at noon, we're meeting to strike the set...that's the best part of having a small theater, strike can be relatively easy.
-
And now, I'm FINALLY going to bed.
Have a good day, all!!
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
good morning to all
-
Cilla, just catching up, and so glad your niece is doing better than she was!

I had a strange dream that seemed to be long and plotted out. It was filled with people I have never met except for actress Emily Blunt playing herself. It was about working for another company and wasn't quite sure what they did, but I liked the energy and the money they were going to give me. I was on my way to resign my position at FedEx and got inside the elevator with co-workers and Emily Blunt who was no longer an actress but working for the company and that where I woke up.
There was a sci-fi moment when this older worker would seem to run out of energy and lie down. They would place an iPad kind of device on his chest and it would re-energize him. My first assignment was to order new letterhead. All the new recruits wore red jackets I was going to complain I didn't have one but I realized I had one on. And just before the end everyone was wearing a blue one except for Emily Blunt was wearing designer (don't know who) business attire.

Good Morning. I think I'll take a nap later today.

Can't wait to find out what the Dream-O-Matic makes of this.

Thanks for the vibes, everyone! Still sick. :P
-
BK,
Why would Banjo be in boxer shorts?
Who played Whiteside?
-
We watched THE HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY last night.
It was beautiful to look at and had fine performances, but the screenplay totally lacked focus.
Disappointing.
-
Good morning!
-
Good morning, all! I slept late, partly because i was lazy and partly because of a disturbing dream that woke me around 7:30. Before that, I had wakened around 4:00am and could not get back to sleep for what seemed ages Then I had this dream, of which I remember only pieces: a Manhattan Dunkin' Donuts and an office building with a huge window looking north over Seventh Avenue around 50th Street, working in a large Barnes & Noble, riding in a car driven by (I think) the Man from Philadelphia, we were in Middletown, Ohio, where Shaker Road intersects with Manchester Avenue and it was raining and the driver took a wrong turn and a police car with flashing lights pulled us over. He had bad news: my two brothers had been attacked and injured. Then I was in some parking lot with my sister-in-law JoAnn and several ladies and informed that my brother Randy was in a hospital room and that Macbeth had been killed in the attack; the last thing I remember before the alarm rang is lying on the concrete sobbing and keening. It was quite disturbing.
-
I'll finish up my Moross notes this morning and then begin a new round of edits. I need to talk to Joshie about any help he might need at City Center this week and to my colleague Curtis about the office internet mess.
I also need a trip to market.
-
Good morning, all.
I woke too early, too, and didn't even know I was falling back to sleep, but then it was suddenly ten o' the clock and now I am a groggy mess.
Coffee!
-
I don't remember my dreams, even though I know I woke from an active, noisy one, which is just as well because the Dream-O-Matic 6000 is going to be blowing fuses on those last two.
-
Congrats to DR GEORGE on his successful HEAD!
-
The Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that DR MIKE's dream indicates that he feels the changes at his current job have created a new positive atmosphere for him, and that he is pleased to still be working there instead of someplace else. His medical team has revived him and he is also appreciative for that, and he feels that he is on the road to being one of the team once again.
-
The Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that DR ELMORE's dream indicates that he is being prepared for changes in family dynamics - not necessarily including the loss of a relative - but a change. Also do not wonder if decisions made in the past are as they should be, they have already been made and cannot be changed. He will also take more control of his life this year and should make every effort to be in the driver's seat rather than merely a passenger in life.

I love Dream-o-Matic 6000!
-
I am trying to figure out how Banjo got a chance to wear boxer shorts.....it had to be when he came out of the kitchen and before he went into the library.....or maybe he took off his coat at the beginning and was wearing them.
It is a mystery.

I attempted to read my new kindle book but it keeps repeating sentences when I turn the pages. Anyone know how I can fix this or get my money back? Changing the font size didn't work.
If you just bought it you can get your money back by going into your account. If you go on an actual computer and go into your amazon account you can go into manage your content. Under "your content" and under "actions" if you just bought it it will have the choice "return for refund".
I would suggest either a) deleting it off your device and re-sending it. Or contacting customer service to see if they can help you. I have never had this problem.

I was not assisting minister, communion assistant or running coffee today as a result I din not get to church until 8:30 and was home by 10:30
-
I am now enjoying a nice cuppa brewed by Vixdad and eating a bowl of oatmeal with cranberries, apples and hempseed hearts
-
In two hours I meet DR WFO to see Into The Woods
-
I'm excited
and scared
-
I'm at the National Theatre in DC waiting to see if I'll win the lottery for a ticket to see Pippin. I am of course familiar with the Broadway lotteries but had no idea that this theatre had one. I was set to buy a ticket online and balked at the $17 ! service charge. I looked around the theatre's website and discovered the lottery.
-
Lottery luck for DR KEVIN.
-
Feel better vibes for DR SINGDAW
-
Thanks, DR jrand64! I won ! Of course the odds were good. Twenty tickets available and fewer than 30 entered, I'd guess. And the seat is in the center , 8th row!
-
Thanks for the kindle tips DR Jennifer.
Keith opened the book on his iPad & it was fine. I then opened it again on my Nook and the problem was gone. I am 100 pages into another book & will read the kindle one next.
-
Enjoy the show DR KEVIN.
-
DR MIKE and DR ELMORE please deposit $35 in my PayPal account.
I started a response to this over two hours ago, and my computer again crashed. I've reset the modem three times, restarted the computer at keast 3 and I am back up. For how long? Who knows? I need a good job so I can buy a new Mac.
-
DR JRand64, that was a very interesting analysis. The Dream-o-matic is amazing.
-
Worth every penny DR ELMORE..... I wish I was smarter about the APPLE computer....but after trying one for a couple of years, I gave up.
My dilemma is that my MOST creative friends all use the APPLE....I guess they are smarter than I am - because I don't get it.
-
I'm up, I'm up - ten hours of glorious sleep.
-
I did leave the heat on all night, but I think that's the last time I'll do that now that it's working properly.
-
The Heat Is On!
-
I can't remember why the boxer shorts - but it's probably the first scenario Jrand posited. I know I also did the same bit in 1966.
-
Sunday afternoon greetings! We are back from an uneventful trip to Lima. I won't be going back until February 15, because I'm going to a baby shower in 2 weeks and I'll be in Chicago in 4. Fr. Richard is on his own for a while.
-
I'm just sorry I didn't think of it.
-
I've futzed and finessed - did quite a bit of adjusting and rewriting, finished the chapter and will start chapter three in a little while.
-
Chapter Three vibes for MR BK.
Where else on all the inner web can you find out that sheep can moo?
-
I really don't think the sheep said moo.....I think the collie is a ventriloquist.
-
Cilla, just catching up, and so glad your niece is doing better than she was!
Thanks FJL. They were all very scared when it happened. She lost a lot of blood and if she hadn't gone to the hospital or gotten the surgery she could have died very easily. So, we are all very thankful it worked out. Here hemoglobin is still really low, but she's home.
-
Thanks for the kindle tips DR Jennifer.
Keith opened the book on his iPad & it was fine. I then opened it again on my Nook and the problem was gone. I 100 pages into another book & will read the kindle one next.
DR Jane, sometimes my nook does that. I have turned it off completely and back on and it works again. Or, it sometimes does it when the charge is a little low
-
Good grief - my computer is doing the "This page can't be displayed" nonsense today.
-

I didn't think to do the complete shut down and back on trick. I dislike doing that as it then requires passwords to various links (can't remember which ones).
I can assure you my charge is always full at bedtime, heaven forbid I end up reading all night long ;D

Still on Page 2?
WTF?
-
It's far too warm in Manhattan today.
-
Anyone watching GALAVANT tonight?
-
This should get us to 3?
-
No. Dammit.
-
That one did it.

I must read slower.
I read that as " I won't be going back until February 15, because I'm going to have a baby"
-
I'm here. I was having some problems with the damn "This page can't be displayed" error, but I fixed it finally. It's always a computer setting A windows problem
-
Where the fat hell is everyone?
I was at the movies with former DR WFO watching the movie version of your most favorite Sondheim musical ever
-
I know not from Galavant
-
Unlike DR Elmore I am a great fan of ITW and fully expected to be disappointed by the movie
-
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I was wrong and I fully enjoyed the movie on its own merits
-
WFO says "Hi"
-
Galavant, Downton Abbey, Life Itself, and Celebrity Apprentice...are they all at the same time? I don't think I can record that many things .....Oh, Galavant is on at 7:00. I can record it
-
FJL, please let Skip know Bill loves Herringbone. I urged him to write a Amazon review
-
I have also urged him to rejoin HHW ... time will tell
-
Is the new Downton Abbey starting tonight?
-
I've done six page so far and need a break. And so I shall take one for an hour or so and go watch something fun.
-
Galavant, Downton Abbey, Life Itself, and Celebrity Apprentice...are they all at the same time? I don't think I can record that many things .....Oh, Galavant is on at 7:00. I can record it
Here we have a season 4 marathon of Franklin & Bash, plus The Librarians, Downton Abbey, The good Wife, Madame Secretary and Celebrity Apprentice.
I never have more than 2 shows on. But I do get the West Coast feed. Plus Downton Abbey replays during the night (and during the week). There is some kind of Downton Abbey special on right after it. Not really sure what it is.
-
FJL, please let Skip know Bill loves Herringbone. I urged him to write a Amazon review
That's great!!!
P.S. Could you PM me his email address?
-
or email me his email address, whichever is easier?

Is the new Downton Abbey starting tonight?
Yes indeedy it is

The Manners of Downton: Alastair Bruce examines how aristocrats behaved in the 1900s Britain, including how they dined, dressed and interacted with servants.
Could be good....could be not so good
-
After that our PBS station has The Blitz: London's Longest Night. I'm recording all of them
-
I get Nebraska PBS as well The have The Great British Baking show on before Downton
-
I think I'm going to watch Life Itself,,,it's on CNN then immediately runs again but I've been looking forward to it so I think I'll watch it at 8:00

ooooh I know what I'm watching!
-
Time to make some dinner
-
Hmm, well with the different showings I've figured out how to dvr all of the things I want to watch. That means there will be lots of good stuff to watch later
-
It's far too warm in Manhattan today.
Is this a complaint ;)
-
Congrats to DR GEORGE on his successful HEAD!
Thanks, Jrand! A few of us met at noon(ish) and we got the stuff out of the theater that needed to be gotten out and now the space is ready for the next renter...whomever that may be. :)
-

I wonder if BK just likes to be on stage in his underwear. ;)

Terrible weather here today. There was a snowstorm last night. And today rain and freezing rain all day. One huge mess!

Congrats on the lottery win, Kevin!
-
The Heat Is On!
...in Saigon!! The chicks're hotter 'n' hell!
;D
-
Anyone watching GALAVANT tonight?
Yes! I want to see this.
-
I really enjoyed Pippin. It's not my favorite story but the songs and unbelievable acrobatics are just wonderful. Kyle Dean Massey was terrific as the lead as was Lucie Arnaz as Berthe. They were both very nice at the stage door. I told Lucie that she was great in Pippin and that "They're Playing Our Song" is one of my favorites and she said "Mine too!"
-
We are supposed to have one hour of Funniest Home Videos and then one hour of GALAVANT...which I shall give a look.
I have already seen the season of DOWNTON, so I don't have to watch.....
And I do not like MADAME SECRETARY.....
-
Very good DR KEVIN! Rumor has it that Miss Lucie is excellent in the role.
-
I'm glad DR cillaliz mentioned Downton Abbey. Even though I knew it was on tonight I might have forgotten to record it after deciding to watch Galavant.
-

I didn't know when "The Librarians" was starting! Thanks for mentioning that. I have the three orignial made-for-TV movies and really enjoyed them.
-
Been watching a terrible cheesefest of a movie from the 1980s.

Spoo! I didn't realize that it actually started last month and tonight's episode is the sixth! Fortunately, they're all available through OnDemand, so I can ketchup whenever I have time.
-
Downton Abbey is set to record.
I also noticed Foyle's War is returning tonight but we don't have the option to watch it. Sometimes our local PBS station gets shows later than other stations around the country. Can anyone watch this?
-
FOXCATCHER is a strange movie as was reported around these here parts recently.
Excellent performances....but ultimately puzzling movie.
-
To answer my own question....
"In February 2015, the new season will make its U.S. debut EXCLUSIVELY"
- See more at: http://globenewswire.com/news-release/2014/11/24/685835/10109534/en/Foyle-s-War-New-Season-Only-on-Acorn-TV-Beginning-Monday-February-2-2015.html#sthash.Qh97VtRk.dpuf
We don't get Acorn-tv :(
-
It's far too warm in Manhattan today.
Is this a complaint ;)
Yes.
-
I would be happy ;)
-
I was more excited to see Foyle's War returning than Downton Abbey. There are probably only 3 episodes for the season so I shall take the attitude I have it to look forward to.
-
Anyone watching GALAVANT tonight?
I think I will watch it.

Sorry I was E & T yesterday and last evening. My friend Sharry celebrated her 70th birthday (it wa actually 12/27, but everyone was out of town) with a big party at Tacoma Little Theatre. It was supposed to be a drop in / drop out affair, but people I hadn't seen in ages kept showing up, so I ended up staying for almost the entire party. A wonderful time was had by all, but boy am I tired today.
-
DR TCB I'm glad you stayed all night and had fun, even if you had to rest today.
-
When I got home last night, I went right to bed, but I couldn't get the i-Pad to connect to the WIFI (or wife) at all. It has gotten harder and harder in recent weeks which makes me think that the problem is the modem or router, or modem-router. So, I bit the bullet and bought a new one from Amazon that will be delivered this week. Hopefully that will solve the problem, but if not, I can still stop paying the rental fee for the cheap-ass one from Century Link.
-
Sounds like a good party, TCB!
-
Health vibes to Singdaw

And what does Dream-O-Matic 6000 say about Emily Blunt who I know is an actress and saw in The Devil Wears Prada and is in Into The Woods which I haven't seen yet.
-
Hi all.
Today was the last day of vacation. I'm bummed. I really don't want to have to go back to work but I guess I have to. Boo and hoo.
I got a lot done around the house and did manage to get some real rest so that's a good thing.
I can't remember what comes on when any more not to mention I can't remember the channel numbers anymore. I just click until I find something. For the most part, I wait and and watch whatever I wanted to see on the "On Demand" channels. I have a DVR but I really like the "On Demand" channels better because they cut the commercials for you.
I forgot all about Galavant but I'm sure I can catch it there later.
I had the lawn mowed today by the kid next door. I've finely given up on trying to keep up with it. The vibrations from the mower make my hands ache when I do it. It's much easier to pay the kid to do it for me.
I washed the dogs today. It was VERY warm here (in the 80's). We will have a cold front coming down later in the week so it was a good day to get all the outside stuff done.
Well that's about all for today. I did have an odd dream that I can't remember much about but I knew I was dreaming and told a female (can not even really remember who she was--Not my Mom--I do know that much) goodbye because I knew I was going to wake up and I might never see her again. Then I woke up!
-
Feel better vibes to DR Singdaw!
Very glad to hear better news about DR Cillaliz Niece! :)
-
DR Danise, what is cold for you?
-

It's actually been on for quite a few weeks already.
-
I'm glad DR cillaliz mentioned Downton Abbey. Even though I knew it was on tonight I might have forgotten to record it after deciding to watch Galavant.
I am sure it will repeat during the week and probably even repeat before next week's new show.
-
I can't watch Downton today because of how PVR had to record everything. i have to record it in the middle of the night.
A lot of places have no power. So i'm at least happy that I do. Such miserable weather!
-
Vibes you don't lose your power!
-
My sister has had no power for most of the day. :(
-
Not fun but even worse not to have it at night.
-
Well at night you are sleeping. It gets dark so early now.
Apparently their neighbors behind them have power. So they brought their kettle over there to heat up some water. And they ate take-out for dinner.
-
DR Danise, what is cold for you?
Anything under 50 degrees. The cold front is taking us to a high of 45---for me that is VERY cold. You have to understand how hard it is to go from 80 and then in a matter of days down to 45. I don't think my body knows how to handle that big of a drop so fast.
-
We are supposed to have frigid temps in the coming week (windchill -20C). Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
-
Then it could go back up again. I know it's only cold for a few days at a time but again, it's like a roller coaster. If it would get cold and stay cold, maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
I see people go to work in short sleeves on those cold days then wonder why they come down with a cough/cold/flu. I bundle up in layers and "peal" as need be to match the temp.
-
That is a difficult drop. When we went to Disney World we went from the high 90s to around 25 and had left our winter clothes in Michigan.
Still, 45 isn't bad. Maybe we should move to Florida. You don't have an income tax :)
-
It can get colder than that. I was just talking about this coming week.
We've gone down to the 30's as well. Burr.........
-
Downton Abbey has me shouting at the screen
-
It can get colder than that. I was just talking about this coming week.

That is cold.
-
I wish I hadn't read that DR Vixmom-lol
-
Of course by the time I watch I will have forgotten ;)
-
I wish I hadn't read that DR Vixmom-lol
I suggest you watch! :)
-
Well it's after ten. Bed time. I don't wanna go but I have to.
Have a good evening and day tomorrow. I'll pop in tomorrow night.
:)
-
it was a good episode
-
Good night Danise!
-
Good evening.
-
So, I finally figured out how to get the new Fitbit to track my sleep. I slept 3 hours and 25 minutes.
-
So, I finally figured out how to get the new Fitbit to track my sleep. I slept 3 hours and 25 minutes.
so it was a good night's sleep then.
-
Yup.
-
did you ever get to go see the snow?
-
It made it to about 57 degrees here today, but the wind was so bitter cold that it felt more than 10 degrees colder than that. Never really could warm up, even after 2:30 of dance practice today.
-
Thanks for the ITW review, Vixmom.
Maybe one of these days I'll get to it.
-
Thanks for the ITW review, Vixmom.
Maybe one of these days I'll get to it.
I plan to try and see it again, this time with the Vixter
-
Yes. My husband and I went up alone and saw the snow. We didn't have to go very far, either.
-
do you have pictures?
-
I think its funny you saw snow before I did this year!
-
well it is after 11 I guess I had better think about bed tomorrow is likely to be a very busy day at work
-
You haven't had snow yet?
-
good night all!
-
Just read the notes, which I must have forgotten to do before. I have always loved the soundtrack to Funny Lady, especially Streisand's version of Great Day. In the last few years, I came across Sarah Vaughan's earlier recording of the same and was surprised at how similar they were. I never thought of Streisand as being a copier, and I still don't, but, well, let's call it a mighty fine tribute from one singer to another.
-
That is very frightening about your niece, Cillaliz. I am so glad they got her to the hospital in time!
-
Yes. My husband and I went up alone and saw the snow. We didn't have to go very far, either.
But did you see a Black Cow?
-
No, but I heard there was one on the road for five miles.
-
That is very frightening about your niece, Cillaliz. I am so glad they got her to the hospital in time!
Yes, she seriously would have died if she hadn't gotten to the hospital. She's still quite shaken by it. As anyone would be.
-
No, but I heard there was one on the road for five miles.
Imagine a 5 mile long cow
-
That moos like a sheep.

I'm going to see if I can top that 3.5 hours of sleep tonight. Good night.

Back from a nice dinner at the barbecue jernt Boneyard. I literally could not get in anywhere else - I just don't get it on the final Sunday night of the long vacation weeks. Can no one just stay home? Every restaurant I drove by had lines - it was just ridiculous. We finally ended up at Vitello's - we were told there would be a thirty minute wait even though there were lots of tables. There was one awful and awkward table by the front door so we took that. I hadn't been in there since they redid the entire restaurant - they managed to take this comfy family-style Eyetalian jernt and turn it into a cold, industrial piece of crap. We sat there looking at the menu and at some point our waiter whizzed by the table telling us he'd get to us in about ten minutes. That, coupled with the fact that the menu was completely different, was enough for me and we bailed. I then called Boneyard to see if we could get in and they said come right over. We lucked out because they were full up but everyone left at the same time, so half the jernt was empty. Other than eating enough for three people, the food was excellent once again.

Now I'll try to write at least another page or two.

Tonight, I finally have had some time to do some laundry.

The local news just reported that Olympia has had 2.24 inches of rain within the last 24 hours...and most of that has been in the last few hours! It's been raining a LOT and I'm glad that I'm at home. :)
