Well, you've read the notes, the notes had the heartbreak of psoriasis, and now it is time for you to post until the sponsored cows come home.

Good morning, all!

I could not get to sleep last night; my mind was running crazy over dilemmas, what to do, etc.  The easiest answer is that my asshole brothers sell that property in Ohio, but I feel that will never happen.  The Macbeth's greed and selfishness kiboshed it from the beginning, and I still believe that land will not sell until after I'm dead.  I cannot go back to work at Barnes & Noble, even on a part time basis, because I cannot stand comfortably for eight hours. So, I'm pondering what I'm fit for, and I never thought in the past 35 years that I would be sitting here in this quandary.  So, when I finally fell asleep, it was after 1:00am and I slept poorly.

I also remembered, as I was nodding off, that I have been dreaming about cats quite a lot these days. Last night, gray cats, and several nights ago yellow cats playing around a sofa.

So, I'm not sure what's on today's agenda.  I will finish the Paint Your Wagon number I was working on before the work stopped yesterday. My Encores! work isn't finished, but until some decisions are made, I do not know what that work is.  I could go back to the Moross, which I set aside for the Encores! job, but I will have to set it aside as soon as the Encores! one picks up, but that could be today or next week.

I hate this.

My family and I liked a commercial for the board game "Life" because it was kind of funny. I also remember "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" (from Alka-Seltzer) became a very popular line in our neighborhood.

On the other hand, as an adult, The Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore) was my neighbor.   :)

I liked the Donna Loren Dr. Pepper commercials.

I liked ALL the toy commercials.....especially the space toys.

I liked this gal, too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iAS5VaVR5o

But my favorite deodorant commercials had the announcer saying...."In the mature male and the mature female" and they showed statues like Venus di Milo and the Discus Thrower.....I think it was for BAN.....but it doesn't seem to be on YouTube.

Last night, I suddenly smelled smoke and had a few minutes of panic looking for something on fire in the apartment.

It came from across the river in New Jersey:

I've lived through two fires, and I do not want another.

I'm up, I'm up, barely.  So annoyed with myself - forgot to turn the heat off and it has completely trashed me - please send excellent vibes and xylophones that I don't get sick - my throat feels a bit sore, but I'm sure it all has to do with the damn heat blowing on me all damn night.  Did NOT sleep well at all - maybe five hours.

"This is a story of one of the most mysterious characters to appear in the early days of the west. He was a fabulous individual. A man whose presence brought fear to the lawless and hope to those who wanted to make this frontier land their home. He was known as The Lone Ranger."

We have been watching this show from the beginning.  In the last couple of episodes he apparently is no longer "a fabulous individual".  They took away our nightly laugh.

Of course.  That's how I met him.

I was in the bank, standing at a teller's window, and I heard his voice behind me.  Recognized it immediately.

I turned around, and said: "Oh, my God!"

"What?" he said.

"I've never seen you without your mask."

He didn't think that was funny, but later on we became friendly.  In fact, there's a picture of the two of us together at Steve Kanaly's ski event in MY FORTY-FIVE YEARS IN HOLLYWOOD...AND HOW I ESCAPED ALIVE.

Keith still wears them and I am very happy he does.  Often he wears a nice, matching or dark colored, t-shirt under the Hawaiian shirt and leaves it unbuttoned.  I like that look.

I went to work today  but discovered I am both brain dead and really exhausted.  I think I live on adrenaline the whole time I'm in trial.  I'm just totally wiped out today. I'd call it a hangover, but I haven't had anything to drink.  I don't bounce back quite as easily as I did a few years back. So I did a few things and came home.  I've been sitting in my recliner all afternoon....and answering some email about work, lol.   Anyway, tonight Paul and I are going out for our Christmas dinner.  We never quite got around to it until now.   I've been thirsty for a Moscow Mule for about 2 weeks and haven't had one, so I'm looking forward to that

Congrats to BK on finishing the book. I think Mr Speedy Gonzales can write a novel faster than I can read one. I've always been impressed when writers can turn out a new novel each year.

This afternoon, I phoned physical therapy to verify that my HMO had indeed faxed the latest referral to them yesterday as promised. No, they hadn't.  I then called them and the lady I spoke to had a million reasons why the bitch could not get off her butt and fax it to them.  Her excuse was that it had been mailed to me.  i've never had in the past 16 months of therapy had an unpleasant clerk.  She doesn't know it, but she is dead.

DR Cillaliz, thanks for the account of your client's case.

You're welcome.  I had a nice conversation with her today when I stopped by her house to give her a copy of the verdict form.  She said they all still had nightmares about the trial still going on last night. I'm sure they will get better now that it's over

Vibes to your client and her family.  I wish them a bright future.

Back from a very good first staging rehearsal.  Did the opening number, which is all staging, so that took the longest, but also roughed out the first half of act one, including staging a duet and beginning one other number that has some walking in it.  Mostly it's six women in six chairs.

In this case, it was.  My lunch time during work is quite flexible, so it can vary when I take it.  I am very appreciative of that. :)

I understand that feeling all too well. I'm sure BK is feeling something of that after finishing his book. It takes its toll for a while.

Tomorrow night, I'm going to a chamber of commerce dinner across the river in Nebraska.  I'm going as a guest of the local Spanish language newspaper.  It's the second time they've invited me to a chamber event as their guest.  This one should be fun.  There's a Beatles tribute band and a 60s theme.  You can wear 60s clothes if you want to.  I don't think I'm going to do that.  Just not in the mood and I'm not sure how many people in this group really dress up.  I'll still have fun.
