Yes DR DRUXY....that commercial was on SUPERMAN a lot!
I'm up, I'm up, barely. So annoyed with myself - forgot to turn the heat off and it has completely trashed me - please send excellent vibes and xylophones that I don't get sick - my throat feels a bit sore, but I'm sure it all has to do with the damn heat blowing on me all damn night. Did NOT sleep well at all - maybe five hours.

I never missed Superman...or The Lone Ranger.
I was a deprived child. I never had a Superman suit. :(
On the other hand, as an adult, The Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore) was my neighbor. :)
TOD:
Loved the Dr Pepper commercial with David Naughton dancing around.

I also loved the Uncola commercials with Geoffrey Holder, the American Indian surveying a garbage dump, the Chanel No. 5 commercial with Catherine Deneuve, and the Polaroid series with James Garner and Mariette Hartley.
Be well vibes for Bruce and all Dear Readers who need them!!!
DR George I like your new shirt.
Of course I should not have worried I would not finish mylibrary book in time. I did so with 11 days to spare. It was a perfect book for my sleepless nights, perfect in that I didn't want to put down."The Pearl that Broke Its Shell"

Looks great. Glad Hawaiian shirts are coming back, not that I ever stopped wearing mine.
Thursday afternoon greetings! We've been to a funeral and the luncheon afterwards. The deceased was the 93-year-old father of our across-the-street neighbor Mark.
DR Elmore, did you know an optometrist in town named Dr. John Rolfes (http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/hamilton/obituary.aspx?n=john-w-rolfes&pid=173920817&fhid=22484)? We didn't know him, but Mark and his wife Rosemary appreciated our being there.

Never heard of him.

That's the February selection for my AAUW book group!

Of course. That's how I met him.
I was in the bank, standing at a teller's window, and I heard his voice behind me. Recognized it immediately.
I turned around, and said: "Oh, my God!"
"What?" he said.
"I've never seen you without your mask."
He didn't think that was funny, but later on we became friendly. In fact, there's a picture of the two of us together at Steve Kanaly's ski event in MY FORTY-FIVE YEARS IN HOLLYWOOD...AND HOW I ESCAPED ALIVE.
illa reading about the trial and your client movef me to tears. I am proud to know you.

Maybe if we all start wearing them we can start a fad!
Better days ahead to Larry!

Thank you Jane, how nice of you to say that
DR Cillaliz, thanks for the account of your client's case.
You're welcome. I had a nice conversation with her today when I stopped by her house to give her a copy of the verdict form. She said they all still had nightmares about the trial still going on last night. I'm sure they will get better now that it's over

Welcome back. Is your late lunch also an early dinner? It would be for me since I normally eat around then, at least when we are home.
I went to work today but discovered I am both brain dead and really exhausted. I think I live on adrenaline the whole time I'm in trial. I'm just totally wiped out today. I'd call it a hangover, but I haven't had anything to drink. I don't bounce back quite as easily as I did a few years back. So I did a few things and came home. I've been sitting in my recliner all afternoon....and answering some email about work, lol. Anyway, tonight Paul and I are going out for our Christmas dinner. We never quite got around to it until now. I've been thirsty for a Moscow Mule for about 2 weeks and haven't had one, so I'm looking forward to that
While scanning Youtube for commercials I found this Marijuana Warning from the 70s. This is too funny

I understand that feeling all too well. I'm sure BK is feeling something of that after finishing his book. It takes its toll for a while.

You are welcome. You could have been the heroine in a novel.

Yes, one goes through this every time. I'm lucky in a way that I'm directing this show.
I did ketchup and Cilla that sounds like a lovely outcome to the story. Well done!
I have a Hawaiian shirt but I did not pack it as it is getting a been worn. But perhaps I should try and pick up another on the rrip
