Well, you've read the notes, the notes were outside in, and now it is time for you to post until the outside in cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RECRUDESCENCE!
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
This here site is definitely more sluggish for me, yesterday and today so far, than it has been for a while.
-
bk, glad to read that your show is coming together so nicely.

Meanwhile in Alberta...

Good morning.
-
*Waits for the daily jury report.*
-
I'm still in the running for the part of the juror. They went through about 140 people to get to the 8 (or so) of us who are left. So, they have to go through a couple more panels to get enough people. I may or may not be released, but I won't know until next week. At least I get a couple of days off so that I can go to work and do my nice, everyday job.
-
good morning to all
-
Good morning, all! No ghosts and no unsettling dreams last night and this is my first morning out in two days. i have an errand to run to Third Avenue, and ten I will attend a gathering of Miami University Theatre alumni on West 44th Street. When I get back here, I will finish up the trumpet and trombone fixes for No. 26, and begin the prep work on the fixes for No. 41 "Wand'rin' Star" reprise. I can get those to Joshie next week. Tomorrow I will turn in the Tuba part and No. 26 and have lunch with Rob Berman.
That's my day.
-
I am having a bitch of a time posting today and yesterday. It takes forever.
-
Mercury Retrograde Ends Today!!!!
Communication improves......Progress is made in all areas......Hilarity ensues!

Wednesday morning greetings! I will be E & T later, because Richard has an afternoon meeting in the Cincinnati 'burbs and we have tickets to hear the St. Olaf College Choir tonight at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral. The tickets were our Christmas present from Rob and Mary Linda. I'll drop Richard at his meeting, go to the Apple Store to see about a new power cable for my iPad Mini, and putter around the mall until it's time to retrieve Richard. We'll have dinner somewhere before proceeding downtown for the concert.
-
And the word of the day is: RECRUDESCENCE!
And The Song Of The Day Is: WHAT'S NEW ?
-
Does Anyone Have An Album By Lani Hall Called SWEET BIRD.?? If so could you let me know !
Gracias !
-
Good morning, all.
Took an extra hour of sleep this morning, and boy did it feel good.
Coffee! Toast! More coffee!
-
The show is sounding excellent, BK.
You know what would be great? A few seconds of video here and there! :D
-
This is to be a very busy day, to be capped off by a friend's birthday dinner, so I will be largely E&T until tonight.
-
DR ARNOLD M BROCKMAN you can download several of the tracks on YouTube and then convert them to MP3's and burn to CD....here's one:

-
T.O.D.
How much are the tickets to see INSIDE OUT?
-
I'm up and I'll be calling our web host - I couldn't even get on the board ten minutes ago.
-
Seems to be okay.
-
Tickets are 25 bucks I think, with many discounts available down to fifteen.
-
And promenade home! Errand accomplished and the MU Theatre alumni session was very weird. I was the oldest ne there from a theatre dept. 40 years ago and everyone else was class of 2011 t now. They were nice but seemed only interested in catching up with each other, and the dept. chair seemed more interested in those she knew.
I'm an antique, a fossil, a relic. It's time to die.

You are welcome DR AMB.
-
DR ELMORE the time will come when we will be needed by those very people.....and then....we can be TOO BUSY......
-
Those types of gatherings can be absolutely thankless and disheartening, DR Elmore. I've been learning this both online and in person. Sorry to hear this one was such a bust. Drink a toast to yourself and your accomplishments and your friends, and tomorrow will be another day. (Or so I've heard.)
-
In fact, I shall drink that very toast this evening at my friend's birthday dinner. No one will be the wiser. :)
-
There are many reasons I avoid alum anything. And Elmore has landed on one of them.
I'll second what ChasSmith said.
-
Back from lunch (Cobb salad and a bagel) and some errands and whatnot and trying to deal with the day from HELL. It began with utter crap from the people who funded the And the World Goes Round recording - I am so sick of these people and so sorry I ever did the album. One more peep out of them and I will devote two entire notes to this debacle.
-
Then my stage manager informed me she has a work emergency and can't get to us in time for our run-through. Needless to say, that is not acceptable to me on a final dress and I made her contact every member of the company to see if they were okay starting a half hour later (they are) but we now have to call all the people we'd asked to come see it tonight and tell them to arrive later. And it gives us no time with her to address problems before we begin. I'm fairly furious about it.
-
Oy!!

~~~Vibes of All Kinds for BK!!~~~
-
Last effects of the Mercury retrograde.....
Terrible developments MR BK....shocking....
-
Smooth sailing vibes for BK.
-
Off to finish trimming the roses.
-
Hopefully Mercury will go into some other grade soon. I really can no longer take these people - I should have said no to the album immediately, and kept saying no. Every time I would try to stop it from going forward, they convinced me to mush on and that everything would be fine. It ain't and never has been because these people have no knowledge whatsoever of how things work in the recording industry. It's shocking.
-
VIBES to BK and Co. for a complete turnaround and successful evening.
-
But again I say: Oy!!
-
Retrograde ends in a few hours.
Earth, Air, & Water...
-
Just home from work, and now off to choir rehearsal. Will catch up later!
-
Help! I am not having much success getting on here at all today.
-
I had trouble last night but so far my only problem here today is that it has been quiet. Maybe the reason for that is that others are also having problems.
-
I'm sure I'm not the only one who would just love to know the whole story.
;)
I haven't noticed any problem.
-
Laura, I HATE when that happens!
-
Hey guys its after 930 EST and page 2?
-
I just got home fromwork
-
so did Vixdad
-
I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel at work
-
I hope it's not a train
-
I won two tickets to see Foreigner in concert tomorrow night
-
Vixdad has no interest in see the concert
-
So one of my co-workers is going with me
-
It is a small venue so no matter where the seats are they will be fine
-
and after all they are free
-
which is my very favorite price
-
I love that price!
-
We thought we might go to the Applebees down the road for their 2 for $20 dinner before heading out for the show
-
I am actually getting quite excited about a girls night out - and the others in the office are actually getting excited for us as well and have promised to do what ever they can to be sure we get out of the office in time
-
We are going to have pizza and wings for dinner
-
and it has just been delivered so someone else post
-
and it has just been delivered so someone else post
You mean... like this?
-
EGGS ZACK LEE!
-
We are going to have pizza and wings for dinner
Mmm...pizza. All of a sudden, I want pizza. :D
-
We'll see what I can forage up for dinner.
Until later!
-
hmm I ate 5 wings and a piece of Hawaiian barbeque chicken pizza and only one lonely post
-
Vixmom, would you buy me a winning Powerball ticket. Please?
-
I guess it's too late for tonight. Oh, well.
-
I had a dirty martini and ate a nice garden salad followed by some nice Atlantic salmon and some surprisingly excellent french fries.
In case anyone wondered.
-
I want a martini, a real one with gin and vermouth plus a couple dashes of orange bitters.
But I exposed myself to too many ugly allergens today.
-
Vixmom, would you buy me a winning Powerball ticket. Please?
well I have three tickets ....
-
I guess I don't understand what the jerks can do to louse anything up once the recording has already been released, but what do I know.
-
DR Ginny - I hope you enjoy the concert. I will be hearing the St. Olaf Choir next weekend, I think.
-
And Beethoven's Ninth this coming Friday night.
-
Page 3.
-
Seems most unseemly.
-
But what do I know?
-
Ah. Page 4.
-
Still unseemly.
-
But not quite so.
-
Just finished Guardians of the Galaxy while writing about pancakes. I think the pancakes were more interesting than the movie.
-
And now I must take a Benedryl and hop in bed.
Good night, all.
-
Well, I finally managed to get in to HHW.
-
But apparently I am one of the few.
-
It didn't matter which computer I used, I just couldn't get in for more than a minute.
-
And yes, I did pay my cable bill.
-
It was very strange. I thought BK had moved and didn't tell me.
-
I attended the Old Actor's Lunch today.
-
Just when I figured I would tell them that I was no longer going to be attending the lunches; and wouldn't you know it, everyone was on their best behavior.
-
Seriously, I had a really good time today.
-
No fights, no screaming, no sending the food back.
-
I guess I will just keep going until they go back to their usual grumpy selves, and then I will say I am not coming back.
-
Of course, it is the one and only thing on my social calendar every week.
-
And we do go to some good places.
-
And if I stop going, what would I have to complain about?
-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Special vibes for DR Elmore~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A better day vibes for DR BK~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
Next week I won't be going to lunch.
-
I have a doctor's appointment to hopefully complete the paperwork for my electric scooter.
-
Then it has to go to Medicare for approval. Which could take weeks.
-
And there are no guarantees that it will be approved.
-
And then they have to come to my house to make sure that I can actually use the chair.
-
I am tempted to just buy my own damn scooter.
-
We have a used medical supply in town that has some very nice scooters.
-
I am glad to hear that Vixmom is going to have a "girls' night out!"
-
I just heard that Tacoma and Seattle are closing the ports again this weekend, only this time it will be until Tuesday.
-
This labor / management slow down is really getting out of hand.
-
Normally, I wouldn't care, but all of these freighters waiting to be unloaded are making the bay look like a parking lot.
-
Is anyone planning on watching that new show, THE SLAP.
-
It sounds like a totally boring premise for a series.
-
And, of course, ABC has their Thursday night smut night, so now NBC has to throw their big drama shows up against them. There aren't any other nights that they could use?
-
Gosh! I am starting to sound like Andy Rooney!
-
See what you guys have driven me too.
-
LOL
-
Good evening. I went to work today and it was a zoo.....
-
I was still a little out of it most of the day, but got a few things accomplished
-
I am totally rambling.
-
Just when I was feeling totally I really looked at my calendar and remembered I set aside the next two weeks to get things done, phew!
-
I am sure everybody in the morning sees a couple of pages of me from the night before; and just skips it entirely.
-
I kind of forgot I'm speaking at a service group on Friday noon. Good thing I've done the same talk a few other times.
-
Cilla! I was so busy rambling, I didn't even notice that you had signed in!
-
I am glad to know that you are feeling better.
-
We're getting the trial scheduled in the case that went haywire. Probably for April but possibly in March, so I may be doing some intense prep work very soon. At least the trial will be over before the new immigration stuff kicks in.
-
Does that mean that the next two weeks you won't have to see clients and go to court?
-
Hi TCB....couldn't leave you sitting there looking out at the ships in the harbor wondering if they have scooters on them
-
Ok, that made no sense, but at least you know I read your posts
Oh, I have a number of court dates set, I don't really have control over those. I also schedule current clients, just not new consults.
-
LOL! You really did make me laugh.
People keep telling me I work all the time. I guess my response is ... so....
Funny. People tell me that I don't work at all.
When does that kick in?
The new deferred action for parents of usc or lpr kids starts sometime in May. The regs aren't out yet, but most people probably won't qualify. I don't think it will be a big deal for immigration lawyers the way some people do. But, I will have a lot of people coming in to see if they qualify
Damn! Between the two of us, we are going to get to page six!
Yes, I just feel disorganize sometimes. I was thinking about it today when I had a big stack of messages from being out sick and what I realized is I'd have the same stack of messages, I just would have paid someone to take them
No way, that would drive me crazy. I let them go to voicemail. If someone doesn't want to leave a message on voicemail they can go to someone else. I let them go to voicemail if I'm with a client or focusing on something too. My clients know that.
Sad news about 60 MINUTES Bob Simon
Yes it is
I'm very happy with the way my business is going. There are always times that are very busy and times that let up a little, I guess I haven't had much of the letting up, but the truth is I love to work. When I have a lot of down time, I tend to get depressed. So, it's crazy and stressful and I love it.
-
And now I need to get to sleep. Last night I couldn't sleep so I watched interview tapes for the trial I have coming up. That really didn't help me calm down and rest, lol
-
I have to be on the road early in the morning to go to a court date out of town. So....good night
Good night, Cilla! Sleep well.
-
Is anyone planning on watching that new show, THE SLAP.
I'm not...I mean, the premise seems like it's supposed to be a limited with a specific ending mini-series. Is that their plan? That would be better, but it still doesn't interest me.
Back from the final dress, about which more in the notes that I must now write.
-
Well, I must go to bed now. I want to get to work early so that I can leave early because I'm ushering for a local production of "The 39 Steps" tomorrow night and it's supposed to be a very good production. It's the comedic version that only has four actors playing all the roles. Everyone that I know who's seen it has pretty much loved it.
-
Good night, all!
