This is film where BK is in drag and he also wrote all the faux theme songs for the tv series when tv series had opening theme songs and main titles. They are missed.

Not sure how to share the link to the movie but if you had watched any of the links from the notes I think it gives you links to the movie. If not click on Imagination Productions under the videos and look for it there

I am going to NSCAR party to watch the classic Daytona race.

And then The Oscars.

I'll probably tape it and join in later so I can bypass inane jokes and get to the meat of the program. The musical numbers, the film tributes, the in memorial listing. With so many people in the last year it is interesting who is going to be dropped due to time and of course the winners. This way I can get through it in about 1 hour.

Terrific performances; wild direction. But, neither my wife not I could really become emotionally involved with the characters.

Still, I liked it and would watch it again.

My favorite picture of the year, though it won't win the Oscar on Sunday, is still THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL.

I was bizarrely bothered by post nasal drip yesterday evening and all night which, by 5:00 AM, had culminated in much clearing of throat and insane coughing. Took some Robitussin and got it under control, then managed another hour or so of much needed sleep. For now, it's just as well I'm up and about.

We had snow early this morning and there's supposed to be even more this evening. Fortunately, Mary Linda can telecommute and Rob made it home safely from his third shift.

Eventually he said he couldn't go in to see her....he was too emotional....so I told my cousin Carol that we would be leaving and she said okay.....

I keep hoping that she may pull through......but until then we wait for more news.

Even though I don't like the cold walks......I am happy to have Precious because I know so many people have lost pets in the last year or so......

After all the problems with HHW access, last night I lost access to the Internet AND my TV! I called Comcast Customer Support and was told that there wasn't an outage in my area. So, they had me reset my modem and my DVR, but that didn't help at the time. They "sent a signal" to my equipment (not a euphemism ;) ) and said that it could take as long as a half hour for anything to happen, so I shouldn't call back until a half hour had passed. I'd never heard of this, but just briefly looking through the movie, it has a lot of actors that I like...and Larry Gelbart wrote it! I'll check it out when I get home.

So tonight I watched Birdman and tomorrow night I shall watch The Theory of Everything. The Imitation Game, Still Alice and American Sniper are still at the theater here. So, I could do a mega marathon, but will likely wait until they come to my living room.
