Well, you've read the notes, the notes whistled Dixie while doing a triple lutz, and now it is time for you to post until the Dixie cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: DEFERVESCENCE!
-
A Very Happy Birthday to (former) DR Adriana Patti!

Good morning, all! I finally fell asleep around 2:15am, and I want to go back to bed for another 2-3 hours. Instead, I must be at Toyland around 10:20 for my tax appointment at 11:00.
I am hoping that I managed to pay enough taxes last year to cover myself. but I really won't know until I stagger out of my accountant's office. These appointments always scare me.

Great news about your sister, TCB.

Good morning, all.

I am fairly stunned to look at the weather sites this morning and find a forecast of 1 to 3 inches of various and sundry things for each of these next three days. Fairly stunned, and fairly speechless.

I am glad to hear that your sister is doing better and that she leaves the hospital real soon
-
I am whistling Dixie and soon expect an email asking for my set list and payment of grand rights.
-
I am 23,565 days old.....a fact I know courtesy of DR SINGDAW.
Here is the link again. This site seems to be very useful.

My fave was the Garry Moore Show.
-
There doesn't seem to be any of the freezing rain in my area this morning, although all around me there is destruction.

25,0003 days.
-
Oh....yes....Garry Moore.
I also liked Steve Allen.....but I guess that was more of a talk show.....my favorite part was always the man on the street segment with Louis Nye and Don Knotts....and someone else....hmmmm
-
My fave was the Garry Moore Show.
I've only seen clips from the show that look like kinescopes so I wonder if they were only done live. I would love to see complete shows.
-
OH....Tom Poston, Pat Harrington, Jr, and Bill Dana.......
Hi Ho, Steverino! Gordon Hathaway here......

The dog picture from yesterday also made me also think of The Shining. DR TCB thinks they way I do I guess
-
My fave was the Garry Moore Show.
:D
-
TOD:
With the exception of LAUGH-IN the first couple of years and MILTON BERLE when I was a kid, I did not watch any of the variety shows with any regularity.
We did watch STEVE ALLEN for awhile...until MAVERICK came along.
-
And who could forget the original Saturday Night Live show? Don't think I ever watched it. I usually saw the CBS comedy shows.

I need to do some shopping. A few things at Target, a few things at the A&P, a few things at Pet Supplies.
Oy. Talk about boring posts!
-
I also have to see about getting a new printer, and I'm completely up in the air about which type and which one I want.
-
Tuesday morning greetings! We're expecting more wintery weather - freezing rain today and snow tomorrow :P
Later this afternoon, though, it's supposed to warm up a little and *just* rain, so I may sneak out to the grocery during that window...
-
TOD:
The Smothers Brothers
The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour
The Carol Burnett Show
-
More snow tonight. I am counting down the days till Spring!
I need to get on my bike.
-
DR TCB that is great news about your sister! Hope she continues to do better.
-
DR LAURA here is the link to UNTUCKED if you don't want it on your FB Feed.
Ginger was safe, so she didn't get a lot of face time on the show. The girls are wearing leotards to appear naked.

-
OH...I forgot about Glen Campbell and The Smothers Brothers......both very entertaining.
-
I'm up after almost eight hours of sleep and some interesting dreams.
-
I chose this show because I think MR BK loved the sponsor!

I am home from my taxes and Toyland, which is next door to my accountant. I am getting some money back, and it's a nice amount that makes me very happy.
-
Congrats to DR ELMORE on his refund.
-
Sandy is running late - which does not make me happy as my time today is very limited. She won't be here till eleven-thirty, which means we're getting to the meeting at twelve, which means I won't be out of there until one and back here till one-thirty, which means no time to eat.
-
Back -- with a lot of various and sundry, and a printer!
-
Congrats to DR ELMORE on his refund.
Thank you, DR JRand64! It will help me get over my current hump and give me enough to ship things out of my apartment and out of Toyland to the Miami University Library. I can use the space.
-
Congrats to DR ELMORE on his refund.
DITTO!
(And may I be as fortunate!) :)

This was the best!! And even though I don't watch it regularly, I'll add "Saturday Night Live" to my list.
-

Whew!
-
Richard and I survived Kroger in the rain. It's supposed to rain steadily until tomorrow morning, then change to snow which will continue until early Thursday morning. Is it time to go to California yet?
-
Remember MR BK the Dream-O-Matic predicted big doings in the romance department for you on the full moon on March 5.
-
I hope the snow tomorrow night doesn't start until I get home from rehearsal DR GINNY.....time will tell......the prognosticators are being very cagey about their timelines right now.
-
The snow has begun.
-
Thou sayest, DR Elmore.
-
BK would like some romance.
-
Back from the meeting with Sandy and a radio promotion guy, and because that didn't last all that long I did have time to get some chicken tenders (tiny today) and a bagel. I picked up one package, even though I know there was another, they hadn't gone through everything and so I just left, which means I don't watch The Band Wagon this evening.
-
No Louisiana Hayride.....where the technician is walking around in the background.
-
From DR John:
I won't forget that concert for quite a while. Just a thrill.
Such a special treat you had :)
-
From DR TCB:
Thanks to all of the HHW vibes, she is doing much better. They have the kidneys functioning again, she may go home in a day or two.
Wonderful news!
CONTINUED GOOD VIBES!!!!

Those 4-5 hours of sleep last night are taking their toll. Tomorrow, I have to be up around 6 to make a doctors appointment at 9 downtown. I will very soon be in bed.
-
Sleep well, DR Elmore!
-
DR Mike have you made any progress with the knee surgeon?
-
Glad to hear your sister's better, TCB!
-
TCB: speaking of sisters, you asked about mine. She's doing well. I should call her soon.
-
DC area weather report: Rain most of the day tomorrow, highs in the 40's. Then temps going down and snow starting Thursday morning and snowing all day. Snowfall totals could be up to 8 inches or so.
-
I have a feeling the schools will be closed again Thursday. And maybe the government offices.
-
TOD: The Carol Burnett Show
Ed Sullivan
Julie Andrews Hour

Thanks for the weather report.

With that much snow I expect Craig won't be driving around doing errands. Maybe he will call instead :)
-
Had a great first rehearsal, picked up my other package and shall now relax.

Oh, and a total love-letter review from Steven Stanley's Stage Scene LA. One must always understand that Steven, a lovely man, is a huge supporter of LA theater and is very kind in his reviews - but it's the first show I've been involved in that's gotten a WOW from him, so that's lovely. http://www.stagescenela.com/2015/03/inside-out/
-
Nice!

That's great, BK! Congrats to you all!
-
And now, I'm off to the theater. We're going to finish the rough blocking of act two, get a tutorial on the Meisner technique, and then I would assume some other stuff.
Be back later. :)
-
These reviews are great.
-
Nice summation, right up top:
"Under Bruce Kimmel’s pizzazzy direction, Broadway and regional theater vets Sandy Bainum, Jill Marie Burke, Cynthia Ferrer, Stephanie Fredricks, Dana Meller, and Adrienne Visnic simply could not be more sensational as a sextet of modern women (of the ‘90s), nor Haverty’s book more delightfully witty and perceptive, nor Haverty and Russ’s songs more infectiously hummable, nor the women onstage at GTC any more fascinating and complex."
-
TOD:
I'd add Tracy Ullman's show to the lists already mentioned.
-
And of course the Muppet Show.
-
Ernie Kovacs was great, as was Here's Edie, Edie Adams' followup.
-
I guess if we're talking SNL, then SCTV would be on my list.
-
And I don't remember seeing Your Show of Shows.
-
Here's a classic from Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca:

-
I'm amusing myself with Sharknado 2: The Second One tonight.
Such class acting. Such bad special effects. Such, well, such.
-
We can get to page four.
-
Soon.
-
I promise.
-
Soon, four won't shy away.
-
I have too much to do tonight. And I don't feel like doing it.
-
Listening to an excellent novel called "The Narrow Road to the Deep North." It's quite poetic but it's also brutal. It's about an Australian doctor who's a Japanese POW in WWII. Very brutal, but the language at times is really beautiful.
-
Hi, 1 guest.
-
Cranberries.
-
Gratuitous post No. 96.
-
Page four? Really?
-
Where are our denizens of the night?
-
I have just finished my writing.
-
Morpheus is calling me, though.
-
Good night, all.
-
Hello
-
I saw my oncologist today he said I am still looking cancer free
-
So that was a very nice start to the day
-
Then I went to work
-
Then it started snowing
-
Then it started raining
-
When I left the office at 8:30 the parking lot was basically a skating rink
-
Page four? Still?
-
Finished with my viewing.
-
And when cleaning the ice and snow off the car I manage to snag by glove on one of the windshield wipers bending it out of shape so it doesn't properly clean off the window
-
Of course it was the drivers side one
-
I can hardly wait for the morning and the joy that the commute shall be
-
Oh goody only 6 more hours to go before I can get up for the day
-
Prayers and vibes for TCB and his sis
-
Vibes for mike
-
I shall think of the lovely verdict of my doctor and go to sleep counting my blessings
-
I hope someone else shows up to get us to age 5
-
Good night
-
Or should I say good morning it 1 in the am
-
Oh looky! Page five
-
My work here is done
-
My work here is not done.
-

Be back later. :)
Well, there was no other stuff. We finished blocking act two, then the director told us about the Meisner technique of acting.
-
It was all very interesting. He very specifically said that he doesn't expect anyone to stop acting the way they're acting and adopt this, but that it can be used in addition to any way that someone has been taught (if they've actually studied).
-
I wish I could've recorded it.
-
TOD:
I'd add Tracy Ullman's show to the lists already mentioned.
I loved "The Tracey Ulmman Show"!
-
And of course the Muppet Show.
Oh, my goodness! How could I have forgotten "The Muppet Show"?!?!
-
Thanks, John, for mentioning those!
-
I saw my oncologist today he said I am still looking cancer free
Very, Very, Very (that's three Verys) Great News, Vixmom!! :D
