Then Miss Raney took the stage and entertained the almost sold out crowd for about eight minutes or so...... It was lots of fun and my only nitpick is the show went on just a bit too long.

I guess the MTV syndrome has finally caught up with you where an eight minute show is just too long to sit through. :D ;)

And yes I know you'll probably correct the notes and everyone else will wonder what the hell I was talking about. :'(

I had a long dream about the late Robert Kane, who was my Latin teacher for four years at Miami University, and probably the best instructor I ever had. He died last January, in late summer I ha lunch in the City with his widow and one of his sons. In my dream, I was visiting him in Oxford, OH, and he was still a young man with three young children, two sons and a daughter. In reality, I knew him before he and his wife had children, and they had two sons, no daughter. The dream seemed to alternate between Oxford and my neighborhood.

So, I'm doing little today, mainly fussing about the apartment with no exertion. I may write a few orchestra parts for a personal project, and that would be about all.

Left here before 8am to meet my friend Becky for a long breakfast visit at Panera, followed by some shopping at Target and Half-Price Books. Then I met Richard for lunch and we left my car in Barnes & Noble's parking lot and went to the Cincinnati airport to pick up Rob and Mary Linda. Friday rush hour traffic back through Cincinnati was horrendous, but we retrieved my car and I stopped at Kroger and was home by 6:30. Rob went to pick up pizza for dinner (their treat to thank us for cat-sitting and airport transport) and I'm just now logging on to check in here and write my articles for the AAUW newsletter.

Thanks. I don't have any gel. If it is easy to do I will try and get some tomorrow.

The toe looks straight so if it is broken it doesn't appear to need setting. It just hurts when I walk or have it in the wrong position. I fear it will be a good number of weeks (research says 6-8) before it heals and I need to do physical work right now. I don't do well when I can't go for walks, especially in this weather. It will be cold again by next week.

It is strange how the bruising is on the bottom of my toe and red on top. Keith asked where I hit my foot and I really don't know.

Is there a chiropractor near you who does K-laser treatments? They really helped my right shoulder. I also had one treatment on my left foot, which I hurt almost two years ago. That helped quite a bit, too.

I have no idea about the k-laser. Not much I can do now until Monday, and thenI might call for an x-ray. I need it to be better so I can clean the house for the Tuesday inspection.

The Part piece was for the whole company and they brought it off with a precision that was somewhat lacking in the Balanchine. I wonder why.

Because of the latter, I'm not going to make a big deal out of the fact that we have achieved a brand new all-time low posting day. If we go below this I'm afraid that will probably signal to me it's time to shut the old board down and I'll just continue to do my notes. That would be a shame, of course, and I hope it doesn't come to that, because I dearly love this board and it has weathered all kinds of storms, but I'm not going out with a whimper. Just how I'm feeling right now.
