So, I went to my hardware store at 84th Street and Broadway, and it's closed for expansion. It will not reopen until July, So, where the fat hell in my neighborhood do I easily get keys made? The answer is nowhere, so to accomplish this I have to locate a place and take a bus. Am I pissed?

She's on the Bausch & Lomb AREDS 2 program (Age-related Eye Disease Study, which was funded by NIH). It's for prevention of macular degeneration. I had thought it was for her glaucoma. B&L has three or more supplements for eye health that can be purhased over-the-counter. Each is based on the AREDS study, but with different formulas. The reviews I read were very good; most people saw vision improvement quickly.

For glaucoma, she has drops for her eyes, which are used preventively. She urges you to ask your eye doctor what your pressures are, rather than settling for an "Everything's fine" response. She's had glaucoma for many years and I don't recall her mentioning that's it's gotten any worse, but I do think it's best to take it seriously and take care of your eyes.

These are all nutrients that are valuable to your general health, as well--not just your eyes. The fish oils are good for pain relief, too.

I always enjoy watching the ice dancing. The pairs skating always seems to be about the jumps and too many couples attempt jumps that they're not ready for, so they tend to fall. Ice dancing is graceful and the skaters don't have to worry about landing the jumps.

Now that the Olympics have a "team" competiton in figure skating, there is also a world team competition. Don't ask me how we won 'cause I'm not sure. Our individuals did well in the short programs (Tracy Gold led all women, including the Russians). Not so well in the long but ENOUGH to maintain the scoring lead for the Gold Medal. It's notable that Jeremy Abbott was not on hand to screw the pooch again. Jason Brown and Max Aaron represented the men.

I'm a bit embarrassed, but a friend of mine had me enroll on GoFundMe so I could raise money toward my medical bills and copayments, especially my upcoming abdominal surgery in June.

DR Jane, I don't think my injury was nearly as severe as yours. And I haven't tried any hiking or sustained walking. Sometimes a long trip around a big grocery store is enough for me.

DR Jane, I don't think my injury was nearly as severe as yours. And I haven't tried any hiking or sustained walking. Sometimes a long trip around a big grocery store is enough for me.

The last few days we have gone 6 miles each day. It was been flat whete we normally walk hills so it is easier, plus the miles were not all at once.
