Well, you've read the notes, the notes had no cutting and pasting, and now it is time for you to post until the cut and pasted cows come home.

BK, thank you -- I have actually wondered that about the standard wording in sections of the notes. I figured you had a template with favorite phrases. Lo and behold, you just answered the unasked question.
The Unasked Question. My new upcoming prequel to Ives' The Unanswered Question. It's going to be a hit, so get your orders in early!
-
Unanswered ones are so passé, don't you think? This is a sorely needed update that even the young people will be able to enjoy.
-
Good morning, all! I will very shortly head down to Toyland. I've got five Act Two numbers of the first edit of Gentlemen, Be Seated! to photocopy, scan, and send to my co-editor Dan along wth some other work I'm doing. I guess i will head straight to my doctor's office from there.

TOD:
I wish I had more time to think about this, since it's such a broad topic spanning 20 years, but I have to go to work and I have to post this post in a hurry. Sound Familiar? So, I'll simply post the first fabulous song I can think of which is Elton John's "Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy". Actually, that whole album is one of the best from that era. One of the other songs from it, "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" is also one of my favorites.
-
Oh...Neil Diamond.

I wonder what MR BK was writing about that the Kritzerland Fans will enjoy?
-
Tonight is a stumble through for THE TROUBLE WITH ACCOUNTANTS...and I think it will live up to its name.....the rehearsal that is.....although on second thought.....the show title as well......
Spoiler request -
Is this one of those enigmatic titles like The Trouble with Angels? or is there real trouble with some accountants?
-
Decisions, decisions . . . Do I stay here another two hours with nothing to do or head home?
I'm going home!

Is HHW suffering from lack of sleep? It took me forever to enter this site!

There is real trouble DR FJL......I am the janitor who is revealed at the end of the show to be an FBI agent looking for a white collar criminal......

But I don't have a song.
Have fun DR CHAS SMITH.

There are a lot of idiots on the No 7 bus today, including my driver. I think several drivers loke the power of closing doors on people who run up to the bus, intentionally missing a stop, or refusing to hear a person in the back of the bus to unlock the back door so they miss their stop. this was my driver today. A total pig
Then we had the people who insist on blocking the aisles with their roll-on luggage, or the pushy young ones who don't wait, once the doors open, to see if an old coot like me is creaking toward the door to get off the bus so you have to fight your way off while their uncontrollable brats run around and make it difficult to maneuver. I hate them all.

Today is my wife's day to volunteer at the temple for a group that helps Alzheimer's patients. She's been doing it for about 5 years.
She was working in the kitchen when she tripped on the carpet, fell and hit her face on a metal table. Two chipped teeth, a cut/swollen lip and a bruised arm and shoulder.
While they rushed her to the dentist, my neighbor drove me up to the temple, so that I could pick up her car, then I picked her up at the dentist.
She's okay; fingers crossed.

Just waking up from the after-effects of the anesthesia and oxycodone. Have been home for almost 2 hours but went straight to bed. Was at hospital very early but still had to wait in pre-op for my surgeon whose first patient was a wee lad of maybe 3 or 4. I didn't see him but could hear him crying. It's so confusing for little ones who are in pain and go to see someone who makes more pain for them. Dr. Gernon, my surgeon, apologized, but after having my hospital experiences I understood. I was not upset. He's a very kind surgeon and I have the utmost confidence in his abilities. He was the first one to see me when I started on my lymphoma odyssey, so he's better able to see what's happening to me.
I was brought into surgery late. I was supposed to begin at 8:30 a.m. but don't think anything started until almost 11 a.m. Like casinos, there are no clocks in the surgery suite.
They had to intubate me because the surgery involved my tongue and larynx. I still have them because they are giving me pain.
Since I don't drink or take any pills, the anesthesia wiped me out. I was told I was in recovery for almost 2 hours. As I was regaining consciousness, I still had the breathing apparatus on.
I'm still somewhat loopy and my sense of time is distorted. But I wanted to let you all know that I'm back. The results should be available sometime early tomorrow.
To everyone who has sent good vibes, love and caring and in other ways has helped me: it's not easy to put my feelings to words as the words don't express what I would like to say. Especially since I wind up sounding too corny.
-

Sami rehearsal is done - she's in pain and cramping today, but it was still frustrating on certain levels and yet major strides today in interpretation and color, so I'll take that despite the fact that it's very difficult to be around her when she's like this. At one point I told her (and we've told her this before) if she behaved like this in a professional rehearsal room she'd be fired on the spot, period. She really needs to learn how to stop it and to work around it, because from my point of view even though we're in my living room it IS a professional rehearsal room. I stopped her time and again to let her know that actual readings were really good, but the energy and joy were not and I needed her to smile - and she just wouldn't and I almost called the rehearsal three times. It'll be better on Saturday.

Watching "Reba," a show I never watched when it was first shown. I think it's pretty funny!
I used to watch this, but I only started watching it because I lived with my sister and niece at the time and my niece LOVED Reba and the show. I ended up actually liking it, too. It was good and Reba was good in it. :)

Thanks for checking in and updating us all, DR Dan M. Glad you got through it.
I always have to tell the anaesthesiologist NO INTUBATION for me, because it can ruin your singing voice for a long time. Although with the kind of procedure you had, that may be unavoidable.

We signed to close on the condo today :)
On the way out we metthe sellers. They live 2 stories above us and are very nice. Our condo had been a rental but the man is very sick and selling his investments.

DR Vixmom the escrow manager is no longer the manager. She wanted to return to just doing closings and getting home earler at night. They let her do this at the same salary. She is also mentoring a new employee they hired to reduce the workload for their employees, though she did work late to get our closing done quickly.

TCB, did your last eye doctor mention the glaucoma or the cataracts? I had the impression both were a surprise, but perhaps not.
-
EYE VIBES to TCB!
-
Good night.
-
TCB, did your last eye doctor mention the glaucoma or the cataracts? I had the impression both were a surprise, but perhaps not.
No, I have had the glaucoma for the past ten years. It was the cataracts that threw me for a loop.
-
FIVE!
-
Oh oh! I don't know what to talk about.....
-
By myself.
-
I didn't do anything today.
-
I went to the grocery store.
-
I opened a new checking account.
-
I decided that it was silly to keep my credit union in Olympia, when I live in Tacoma.
-
So I am switching over to Alaska USA Credit Union.
-
I know that doesn't make any sense, but it really does.
-
They are expanding all over Washington,
-
And they have a branch and a cash machine in my grocery store.
-
They didn't offer me a toaster, but I guess that doesn't happen any longer.
-
And that was it for my entire day.
-
So what the heck can I talk about?
-
Prayers and healing vibes to DR Dan.
-
That was a great post, Dan. You could would never find me able to use a computer on the day I had surgery.
-
Dan, is there a reason you won't take pain medication?
-
Hard knock vibes to DR Chas.
-
That was a great post, Dan. You could would never find me able to use a computer on the day I had surgery.
I guess that we will find out how I do after cataract surgery.
-
I will probably need someone to lead me to the computer.
-
But I could always use my Dragon Speak and Spell, or whatever they call it.
-
Dragon doesn't quite understand all of my dictation, but the results are pretty amusing.
-
I may try using the uncensored dictation some day.
-
Congratulations to DR Jane and DH Keith on the new condo!
-
Well, I can't think of anything to post tonight.
-
Tomorrow I was supposed to take my friend to lunch at the Snoqualmie Casino, but she had to cancel out.
-
So tomorrow sounds just as exciting as today.
-
Maybe I can do something exciting; like laundry!
-
Wow, they just showed a video of a stage collapsing at a high school while the students were doing a show.
-
I decided that it was silly to keep my credit union in Olympia, when I live in Tacoma.
What was your credit union here in Olympia?
-
Six!
-
One minute the whole cast is there, and a second later they are all gone.
-
G'night!
-
Congratulations to DR Jane and DH Keith on the new condo!
Thank you.
-
That was a great post, Dan. You could would never find me able to use a computer on the day I had surgery.
I guess that we will find out how I do after cataract surgery.
One eye at a time-right?
-
One post to say you are ok then I believe you aren't supposed to use the computer.
-
TCB, did your last eye doctor mention the glaucoma or the cataracts? I had the impression both were a surprise, but perhaps not.
No, I have had the glaucoma for the past ten years. It was the cataracts that threw me for a loop.
Last year when I got my eyes checked, the doctor noticed that I had the beginnings of a cataract in one eye. When I went for a check-up last week, they told me that my eye pressure was good (15, whatever that means) and that the cataract was still there. He didn't say anything about it being much worse, so I assume that it'll take a while for it to be a concern.
-
I opened a new checking account.
I decided that it was silly to keep my credit union in Olympia, when I live in Tacoma.
And how/why did you credit union in Olympia if you live in Tacoma?
-
Maybe I can do something exciting; like laundry!
That's my plan for Saturday! Oh, joy!
;)
-
So...I just finished watching tonight's "Grey's Anatomy."
WTF?? :o
