Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of turning ten, and now it is time for you to post until the ten cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MOGUL!
-
BK, Congrats on 10 years of Kritzerland!! Can't wait to find out the details of the Kritzerland-a-GoGo campaign! :D
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
Congrats on 10 years of Kritzerland!!!
-
Good morning, all! And a very happy Walpurgisnacht!
-
I've been up since 5:45; I need to be out of the house around 8AM to catch a 104 bus to 96th Street, where I'll transfer to the subway, since there is an elevator to the train. Then I'll ride to 181st Street and walk to 185th and Broadway do my eye exam. I usually see my doctor at 22nd and 5th Avenue, so this is new for me.
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KRITZERLAND!!!

Who was the actress in ACTRESS?
THE WIRE was a A++ series.
-
Good Morning. It's not Wednesday anymore!
-
DR Cilla that is funny about the stool softeners.
-
Good news from DR DAN M.....vibes that the good news continues.
Except of course about the neighbor upstairs......

I look forward to the KRITZERLAND NEWS tomorrow....ten years is a long time in some businesses!
-
I have had my dental and medical pre-operation exams.
Next Wednesday is the CT Scan.
It's getting closer and I can't wait for it to happen.
I am nervous and excited for you. Vibes all goes well!
-
On Monday, when I bought my case of 35 bottles of water, I picked it up wrong and my left lower back starting hurting. It was very bad yesterday....not quite as bad today.
Tonight is OPENING NIGHT, so I really can't take pain pills.....so we shall see what happens. I took a couple of good old aspirin tablets, and that seemed to help a bit. And it is less painful than it was yesterday.
-
We are taking both our land and sky telescopes. I'm not sure where we will put the sky one, or if it will be used enough to keep it. The land one will be by a window facing the marshes.
-
Here are four of the guys in THE TROUBLE WITH ACCOUNTANTS.
Bryce on the left also wrote the book. They are all pretty funny in their roles and nice gentleman as well.

Health and pain free vibes for DR Jrand and all DRs!!!
-
Good idea DR JANE. There is too much ambient light for me to use my sky telescope, so sometimes I have to take it out to the country to see things......in the sky.
-
These are our two leading men....again....very talented singers and good actors. Joey on the right played Leo Frank last fall in PARADE.

Last week when we were discussing singer/songwriters of a particular time, I forgot to mention Kris Kristofferson.
His movie CISCO PIKE was on the other night, and I had forgotten how much I liked a lot of his songs.
-
Well, I think I've gotten two hours of sleep so far. Too much sleep this week and now too little sleep. Guess I'll go back to bed and see if I can get a few more hours.
-
Druxy, the actress in Actress is Brandy Burre.
-
Opening night vibes and pain-free vibes of all sort to Jrand!
-
I am home. It took me an hour by bus and subway, plus a walk of several blocks, to get to my doctor and another hour and a half for the exam: I got drops to dilate my eyes and then my retinas were photographed. Lovely photos; my eyes re in great shapem andthey are syill dilated. i can hardly focus now.
Then I caught a number 100 bus at 185th and Broadway, rode it to 125th Street and transferred to the 104 to get home. I did not know the geography of the area so I really enjoyed the ride and watching the scenery. The ride took about 90 minutes.
-
Feel better vibes for DR JRand!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
Thank you DR FJL and DR JENNIFER
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Back vibes to JRand.
-
More tummy vibes to BK.
I like Reed's Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic). It settles the stomach like 7-up, but it also has lots of minerals. A naturopath recommended it to me for when one is sick or recovering.
-
Hopeful optimism for DR Dan M. This is very good news. I know it hasn't been confirmed yet, but this is certainly a good sign. Vibes for continued recovery.
-
SMOOTH SAILING VIBES to DR MICHAEL. Hopefully, the worst is over and all goes well now.
-
Happy Birthday to Kritzerland!
-
Jane, your new condo view looks lovely, lots of open space. You wouldn't find much of that here in LA.
-
The Roto-Rooter man came and went yesterday and my bathroom sink is now draining as all good drains should. I was able to get some work done, then run a couple errands.
-
Today is the 91st birthday of the wonderful Sheldon Harnick, and this moving anti-war song cut from
THE ROTHSCHILDS may be my favorite Bock and Harnick song:

I was very fortunate to orchestrate thus for BK's Lost in Boston 2,

I have plans for lunch today with a friend. This is the lunch that I had to cancel several weeks ago when the Tummy Turmoil hit me suddenly.
-
Also good for queasiness is ginger tea. You can buy the teabags or make it yourself by letting a slice of raw ginger steep in boiling water.

Good idea DR JANE. There is too much ambient light for me to use my sky telescope, so sometimes I have to take it out to the country to see things......in the sky.
We won't be doing that, but then it often has been so brilliant here we didn't even need it. Ours has had a lot of use over the years. We purchased it when we still lived in L.A.
-
I am officially in panic mode. I need to throw more stuff in the garage for the guy to pick it all up tomorrow morning to take to the dump. The car can't hold anymore for Goodwill.
-
James Patterson ran out of nursery rhymes, deadly sins, and is onto an unlimited series, numbers, for his titles:

On this day in history, in 1953
Some singer named Frank Sinatra met up with some arranger named Nelson Riddle and made some records!

Today is Grandpa Munster's birthday.
Al Lewis born this day in 1910. Ever notice that he always looked old, even when he was young? Maybe he was the victim of typecasting.
Watch some Car 54 and Munsters in his honor today.

Frau Blucher turns nine and eighty today!
Cloris Leachman!
Wish Nurse Diesel a happy birthday! And, Phyllis too.
OH AND SHE WAS GOOD IN THAT STRANGE NOIR BY ROBERT ALDRICH "KISS ME DEADLY" WHERE THE CREDITS ROLL UPWARDS.

On Monday, when I bought my case of 35 bottles of water, I picked it up wrong and my left lower back starting hurting.
And I always thought those remarks about DR Jrand64 not being able to hold his water were just a lot of B.S. ...

Thursday afternoon greetings! I had an early - and long - coffee date with my friend Becky, our last before she and her husband return to their boat in Michigan. We won't see one another again for about 6 weeks. From there I did some household shopping and got home just before the rain began.
-
Happy 10th birthday to Kritzerland!
-
I was E & T last night because Richard and I went to a suburban Dayton cinema for the HD rebroadcast of last Saturday's Metropolitan Opera - Cavalliera Rusticana/Pagliacci. Neither story turns out well, of course, and it was kind of a long evening. I wish a benefactor would establish a similar series for musicals...
-
Pain-relief vibes for DR JRand!
-
Eye-focusing vibes for DR Elmore! That was quite a trek for you today.

Good afternoon, all.
Happy birthday, Kritzerland!

thank you DR ELMORE and DR GINNY.....I shall soon be on my way.
I shall return anon.

I've always liked Carbonara Sauce (or as true Italian-Americans would say "gravy"):
http://www.italianhomerecipes.com/carbonara-sauce.html
I also like Arrabbiata:
http://www.recipe.com/arrabbiata-sauce/
Both have the Italian bacon, Pancetta, which is different than the regular Oscar Meyer kind of breakfast bacon. They're good if you add in Portobello mushrooms and Italian sausage for flavor.
There are some really good gluten-free pastas that I enjoy, so I can still have these "gravies". Although, there is no true substitute for wheat/semolina pasta.
-
Well, here we go again. This is suddenly feeling like a Friday afternoon to me.
-
This morning I was running around in a panic because I have too much to do before we move. Now I'm just tired. I have to call my aunt and tell her I cannot go to my uncle's funeral. Since he passed away this morning I'm guessing the service will be on Sunday. There is no way I can leave home right now. I wish this had happened at the end of the month. For my aunt I'm glad it is over. He had Alzheimer's and the last year, couple of years, it has just kept getting worse. When I saw her last she was just worn out and the stress showing.
No condolences needed, I'm just sad I can't be with my aunt and cousins.

Jane, I'm so sorry about your uncle and the situation. :(

When the trucks load in a show at the Orpheum here, they are right below my office window. So today I was looking down at the them loading in for Crosby Stills and Nash. I didn't get a ticket earlier because I've seen them and think the tickets are too expensive. But....I was watching and thought....oh let's just see if they've released any really good seats....I went online and... ....10th row (maybe 12th depending on how they configure it) center! I couldn't pass that up. so I'm off to the concert tonight
-
I've always loved CSN. My sister and brother used to play guitars and I played the piano and we'd sing the three part harmony in our living room. It was a blast. I am very excited about tonight and very surprised I splurged on the ticket
-
It's my treat for working so hard lately :)
-
I must say, I would save money if the loading dock for the Orpheum wasn't under my office window
-
Nice trailer, BK.
Where's the link to the campaign?
-
Nice photos, DR Jrand64! Very sorry to hear about your back, though.

Thank you. I'll be lucky to be ready for the movers in time, let alone take a trip. I have been doing my best to avoid another trip to Vancouver by looking at samples online, something I can't believe I'm doing.
-
DR Cilla, enjoy the concert and your excellent seat.

Congrats, Cilla! Enjoy the concert! Tonight, I'm going to the movies...the new "Avengers" movie! I guess it doesn't officially open until tomorrow, but it's starting tonight at 8:00 pm.

Happy 10th to Kritzerland!

Good health vibes to all!

Well, I'm off to the cinema to see "The Avengers!"
Until later!
-
Had to upload our little video thing to You Tube because that's what Indiegogo uses, a link. I won't have the actual link info till eleven tonight. We'll go live as soon as I have it, as I have to add that to the Constant Contact eBlast.
-
Had a very fun rehearsal and am now relaxing until food at seven-thirty - I must say, I'm really hungry.

Congrats to DR DanH on the incredible news!

Author! Author! That's an excellent Kritzerland-a-GoGo YouTube video!
If I had 80K, I'd give 120K for all the good work you have done and continue to do.
But, just one request from renowned producer, C. Walken:
-
VERY nice video!
-
Happy 10th Birthday to Kritzerland!
Here's to the next ten years!
-
Great video BK!
-
Does this mean a Sherman Brothers' Greatest Hits CD?
-
I am looking forward to reading more tomorrow.
-
Now I really need to win the lottery.
-
Then I could help Vixmom AND Kritzerland.
-
One more post.
-
Five!
-
I was feeling a little better today.
-
Then I ate some dinner.
-
After that, I didn't feel as good.
-
Tomorrow I am making some comfort food.
-
Mac and cheese.
-
Back from our ALS postmortem dinner - really fun. Had prime rib and a baked potato.
-
Maybe with some tuna.
-
And, maybe, some peas.
-
Great Expectations!
-
Sounds rather energetic, but we shall see.
-
I need to go take my medications and get ready for bed.
-
No Vixmom tonight?
-
Maybe she took her sleeping bag to the office with her!
-
I wonder how Cilla's concert turned out.
-
I am sure it was fantastic.
-
G'night!
-
We'll be announcing some places at midnight (not Facebook, as that's best to do morning) - can someone test the link below.
