I actually was a baton person in the 4th and 5th grades. Since there were two of us boys, we were always placed in the center of the gymnasium on the school logo during the demonstrations. It was most interesting and fun.
I may in fact still have my STAR BATON someplace.....but I doubt that I could do a toss and turn today.
Good morning, all! In another 46 minutes I will head to my HMO for a test, fist attempt to decipher this lump in my neck.
Today I have my Cat Scan for my knee and then it will be one week until the operation
Continued moving vibes to Jane and family
Moving vibes to DR Jane and new-home vibes to DR Matthew!
BTW, DRs Ginny and Jrand64...
As you know, I wanted to drive up and over to see yuz all while in Cincinnati late next week -- but this trip, being a family thing with a wedding and all, well, the reality has set in and I'm afraid it just ain't happening. I'm coming back that way again in the near future -- perhaps late June -- and it will not involve family, so I will let you know about that in the hope we can do it then.
Coping vibes for DR Ginny, and good vibes for everyone.

Great news DR Dan M!
I am going to make an appointment with the therapist today to try to get this pain to go away.....no sleep last night.
Precious was insistent that we take our walk this morning, but I had to cut it short. I did finally sort of fall asleep about 8 a.m. - just in time for the street workers to show up and start their drilling ....
ASK BK
Did you drive around the areas described in the book or did you use a map to help you describe the areas mentioned in the book.
Today I'm off to the Giants game with my 8th grade class. They are a really great 8th grade class this year. We are rehearsing Seussical Jr at the moment and they are just being fantastic about learning the material, taking vocal risks, etc...
I was there in plenty of time. The nurse wasn't.
The test is administered and I go back on Friday for a reading.
I've have just heard from the landlord. How much time do we need to vacate Toyland? I hope to be out of there by middle of next week.

Thanks to all for the vibes.
I won't be able to see the therapist until tomorrow sometime.....so I am just sitting here in pain....Aleve does not seem to help at all....so I will just get through the next few hours ... with everything else going on in the world...it really is not much of a sacrifice.
HEALTH VIBES TO ALL!
WEALTH, too, but let's take first things first! :)

Today my hiking group went to Lithia Park in the Plaza. The creek was flowing nicely and the flowers on the trees were in bloom. It was especially beautiful and perfect for my last hike with them. They then took me out for coffee/breakfast/hot chocolate. It was wonderful. One couple gave me a bag of the Mexican hot chocolate I enjoy, and now won't have to stop to buy more. Another friend gave me a mug her daughter in-law made that says Ashland, OR. The design on it is the symbol for the Trinity Church, which is the group I have been hiking with for almost 17 years now. I choked up at this and became rather teary eyed. I will be taking these with me.
Two of the women in the hiking group are also in my book group. Tuesday is my goodbye meeting & lunch out with them.
Sigh. Today is the first day I have become emotional about leaving.

Successful surgery vibes to DR Michael!
Good afternoon, all.
Thanks for the many vibes for Carol. She is being sent home today, but they're still not sure what caused her problem, other than perhaps a confluence of several problems at the same time. She is feeling better. (BTW, DR Elmore, Carol is a long-time friend of a mutual friend of ours, Patricia Sinnott.)

DR Matthew, you are so supportive of these kids. It's such a difficult age and I suspect that many adults wouldn't be able to handle them. You seem able to acknowledge their efforts and successes.

A very nice way to conclude your time with your hiking group.
Medical vibes for DRs Dan M, Mike, Elmore, and JRand - oh, my, so many...
a rehearsal space that isn't actually available
Will we be able to get done what you need the car for on Sunday? My next week is booked solid, but if you need more than one day with the car, I could possibly come down tomorrow. Or maybe Saturday.
Good afternoon, all.

Many vibes to all, including JRand, Dan M, Mike, Ginny, and Vixmom's in-laws. And everyone else I forgot.

Terrible. I wonder if the bashers considered themselves good ol' boys or Christians.

Nice new avatar, DR elmore3003!
I'm watching "Here's Lucy" on "cozi" tv. I can't help but think how much better "I Love Lucy" was. Ricky and the Mertzes are sorely missed.
Always hilarity in the soundtrack community. I had a bet with someone whether one week could go by after we announced our Kritzerland a GoGo campaign before another label would just have to post that they had Golden Age scores coming up after almost a year of nothing but eighties and nineties scores, plus announcing THEIR anniversary. I won the bet today, a day ahead of schedule. :)
Good evening. My Birding Buddy forgot we were supposed to go today, so I pretty much spent the day avoiding the minutes I should be working on.
