Well, you've read the notes, the notes lacked both terra and firma, and now it is time for you to post until the terra firma cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SALTATION!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
First after BK!
-
Been a long time since that's happened.
-
Terra-firma-real-soon vibes for BK!
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
Good Morning to all
-
Today is my last day at work for about three months
-
just going to take it easy for the next few days
-
Take it easy vibes for Mike
-
Today I am expecting a landscaper in fact I expected him 9 minutes ago
-
I decided to hire someone to do a big yard cleanup for me this year I just feel I don't have the stamina (or time) to get all the beds weeded, the edging done ,the bushes trimmed and debris bagged so I broke down and hired a guy recommended by a co worker
-
I have also decided I am too fat
-

I think that is a very good idea.
-
I have also decided I am too fat
I doubt that.
-
Don't Cry For Me, Terra Firma!
-
What am I doing up at five o'clock in the morning?
-
Well, either in my dream, or in teal life, Nicky yowled.
-
I don't eat much but the lack of excercise and fast food are wreaking havoc so yesterday I bought some lovely blueberries and strawberries and I am starting my day with a smoothie instead of coffee
-
Either way, it woke me up.
-
Oh the landscaper is here! Did not knock just started mowing
-
I don't eat much but the lack of excercise and fast food are wreaking havoc so yesterday I bought some lovely blueberries and strawberries and I am starting my day with a smoothie instead of coffee
Couldn't you have both?
-
Oh the landscaper is here! Did not knock just started mowing
. Wow, nice work ethic!
-
One guy is owing and another one is edging
-
If I am going to stay up for a while, I need to switch to my PC, instead of my I-pad.
-
And I am interwebbing and drinking my fresh fruit smoothie
-
I am feeling quite pampered
-
I am feeling quite pampered
I bet it has been a long time since you have felt that way.
-
Okay, I am getting up!
-
Good morning, all.
Oy. Crazy dreams. I don't know where I come up with this stuff.
-
Well, either in my dream, or in teal life, Nicky yowled.
That post has a teal push!
-
Today is straighten up part of the basement day. The part all around the furnace and where the A/C comes in. Because on Monday the people are coming out to do the annual maintenance on those things.
-
Tomorrow is ZORBA at Encores!
Following which DR Elmore and I will do a Toyland run to haul more stuff to his apartment.
-
What am I doing up at five o'clock in the morning?
.
Must be the reason your good sleep vibes ran out at 5:00 ;)
-
I don't eat much but the lack of excercise and fast food are wreaking havoc so yesterday I bought some lovely blueberries and strawberries and I am starting my day with a smoothie instead of coffee
.
Good for you.
-
I had thought it was only for B & N that there wasn't an ebook, not that I could read it right now, but I did look to purchase it.
-
I have no strawberries, I have no blueberries; but I do have coffee!!
-
I am 8 books behind my reading schedual, which really means I have normally read at least 10 more books for the year by now.
-
I have blueberries.
-
I need to shut my eyes even if I cannot sleep.
-
In my dream, before Nicky yowled, we were all trying to remember who played The Green Hornet on TV.
-
I am 8 books behind my reading schedual, which really means I have normally read at least 10 more books for the year by now.
You have had a few other things on your mind.
-
Of course, Van Williams played The Green Hornet, but I had to look it up.
-
Good morning, all! I'm going to work at home on Gentlemen, Be Seated! until noon, and then head down to City Center for the matinee of ZORBA. I want to see Rob Berman's wonderful parents after the show, and watch the matinee from the backstage monitor. Poor John Turturro got dreadful reviews, and I think he's so wonderful; for an actor in his first musical role, he's had one week of rehearsal, then tech and performance, and it's not fair to expect a performance equivalent for an actor with 4-6 weeks of rehearsals. I'm amazed at his accomplishment, and i want to see how he's progressed since last Tuesday.
-
Yesterday I posted that I had an ultrascan on Monday. I used to have a vocabulary. i'm having an ultrasound scan of my neck on Monday.
-
Last night I dreamed that I was working on something by Sondheim and could not get out of the chord progression C-sharp minor seven to F-sharp minor.
-
Oh no. Sorry to hear about those reviews. I read the decent one you posted. Now I don't think I have the heart to look at the others.
I'm have no doubt he's wonderful, and I so look forward to seeing and hearing it tomorrow.
-
Ultrasound vibes to DR elmore!

DR Elmore used to have a vocabulary, and I used to have grammar.
"I'm have no doubt" ?

I am 8 books behind my reading schedual, which really means I have normally read at least 10 more books for the year by now.
You have had a few other things on your mind.
You think ;D
-
sorry did the landscapers wake you?
-
Last night I dreamed that I was working on something by Sondheim and could not get out of the chord progression C-sharp minor seven to F-sharp minor.
"Oh Pshaw!" would fit that progression nicely.
-
Ouch! Poor Mr. Turturro.

George Bernard Pshaw?

Saturday morning greetings! Katie is picking me up in a couple of hours for the Middletown Symphony Women's Association fundraising luncheon. I've never been to this event and I'm looking forward to it. This evening Richard and Rob are taking me out to dinner for our Mother's Day celebration (too crowded tomorrow...)
-
No groaning at HHW!
-
If you groan softly on that chord progression, it'll blend into the ambient noise and no one will notice.
-
I wish I understood chord progression.

I received word late yesterday afternoon that I've been elected to a 2-year term on the board of the American Library Association's Retired Member Round Table, effective at the end of this year's annual conference. That means I get to go to Boston in January and Orlando in June next year...

I'm ready for some more coffee.

This photo was taken in the teeming port of Grand Turk. My cruise ship is the blue one on the left. The ship on the right is the Carnival ship, Fantasy. Thirty-two years ago, when I first became a travel agent, Carnival flew me down to Miami to tour their ships. The final ship we toured was their pride and joy, the Fantasy.

Actually, the photo makes the ship look much nicer than it did in person.
-
Now I'm stuck in DR Elmore's chord progression.
-
Earworm!
Damn him. Damn him all to hell.
-
That ship truly looks like a city on water, DR TCB.
-
Or a spaceship on water.
-
It was the largest cruise ship, other than the Cunard ships, at the time. You can see how few balconies the ship has compared to our ship.

Wait.
Did you say "Boston in January"? :D
Yes, DR ChasSmith, ALA is notorious for going places like Chicago and Philadelphia for Midwinter and Atlanta and New Orleans for Annual. Someone wrote in one of our professional journals years ago that the IRS would never question our expenses for these conferences.
-
But at least in 2017, we're going to Atlanta in January and Chicago in June. Oh, wait, I went to Atlanta in January last year and got caught in their big blizzard - all 2 inches of it!
-
My darling kitty, woke me up, ate breakfast, and then went back to bed!

One guy is owing
I think that you are the one who will be owing, after they're through. :)
But I am glad that you have the help.

I have also decided I am too fat
Surely not, after losing 5,000 pounds?
Oh - that was DR Jane.

Congratulations on your election, DR Ginny! Nice gig!!!

Great photo of Nicky.

DC Nicky is so cute! Even if he is a little devil. :)
Thank you. He is indeed.

Moving vibes for DR Jane.

We watched WILD ladt night. I liked it better than the book, less time to be frustrated with her crazy behavior. It was fun to see Ashland, what we could see of it.
-
Great photo of Nicky.
Thanks, John. Where are you going on your vacation?

We have canceled our Netflix account for now.

I need to fully wake up and start packing. I have a great fear everything we want to take with us won't fit in the car.

Congratulations on your election, DR Ginny! Nice gig!!!
Thanks, DR Singdaw! I made sure it would not start until my commitment as AAUW president was complete.

Nice cat.

Congrats to DR GINNY on her election....and upcoming travel opportunities.

Two of my favorite TOD moments happened on The Donald O'Conner Show which was on in the afternoons (in Indy) for a year or so.....I have mentioned one that featured Joan Baez....aka Joanie Phonie.....
She would hardly speak to Donald at all. At the time her husband was facing jail time for evading the draft and other political problems, and Joan had been to prison for protesting the war herself.. He would ask her a question and she wouldn't say a word. So finally he said: "What would you like to talk about?"
Joan snapped: "You have questions on your card there, just ask them."
And Donald looked her in the eye and asked: "Okay, sister, how did you like it up the river?"
And on a later episode he had Keefe Brasselle, Barrie Chase, and Rod Serling on....I had never seen Rod on a talk show. He was hilarious. Keefe was selling his book and Barrie had just put out a record, and Rod was talking about a movie he was in.
Toward the end, Rod just started laughing.....Donald asked him what was funny. Rod said: "You have a quite a crew on today, an actor trying to be a writer, and writer trying be an actor, and a dancer trying to be a singer. I actually don't need any of this."
Donald said: "Really?"
Rod: "Of course not, I married money. My wife has over $500 in the bank!"
-
DR VIXMOM.....I am seeing the therapist instead of a chiropractor, because my insurance this year has a $5000 deductible and the therapist will be under $100. I don't think the chiropractor would be that......practical.

TOD:
When I was twelve to thirteen years old I was a total "Mike Douglas Show" junkie. I watched that show every afternoon without fail. During the time of "Chico and the man", Freddie Prinze was one of the guests on the show, which thrilled me because I was quite smitten with him. I also happened to be taking ballet lessons since I was four years old. So, imagine my delight when after a commercial break, they came back and had set up ballet bars all over the stage. Apparently Freddie Prinze had also taken a lot of ballet lessons and was going to teach a class to everyone on the show. I think at one point Freddie does an arabesque and kicks Mike Douglas in the testicles. It was hilarious. I was in heaven. I just tried to find this segment on Youtube, but it's not there.

Oh shoot! Lar, did I miss the season finale of GRIMM last night?
DR TCB, the Finale is next week, but all hell broke loose last night.
The Grimm Trouble returned
The Captain was possessed by Jack the Ripper
Juliette set up the murder of Nick's mother
Nick issued orders to shoot to kill if anyone ran into Juliette
The Royals now have Adalind's baby

A question for the populace at large:
For some reason I thought I had the Jay recording of WEST SIDE STORY, but I've convinced myself that I was mistaken on that point. Which means I've probably never heard it.
So, how good is it? Or rather, which "complete" recording(s) is(are) the best? In your humble opinions, of course. Actually, wasn't this discussed not too long ago when the San Francisco one was happening?
-
I haven't listened to the Jay WSS in a long time; I don't really remember how I feel about it. I do like the recent San Francisco recording a lot. It's sort of in the vein of the Bernstein complete recording without some of the most glaring casting mistakes.
-

I am very fond of the JAY WEST SIDE STORY. It used a lot of the cast of a West End rvival with a couple of ringers thrown in like the Maria, who's wonderful. I also think Paul Manuel, the Tony, is wonderful. The American accents come and go and the cuts Robbins made in the dance music are used, but I like it very much, one of the few complete JAY recordings I can say that about.

Today, I'm "stranded" over here in the East Bay as one of the major bridges are closed for repair this weekend. So, I've planned my weekend accordingly. The goal today is to unpack as much as possible and try and sort out my life. It's a gloomy day here, not very much motivation... but we press on!

I was just using Google to reminisce about old record labels. I think the first LPs I was able/allowed to buy were on the Pickwick label because of their kiddie records, but there are many here that are fun to remember:

TOD:
I always enjoyed Merv Griffin when he would take a recently popular song and MERVify it. I can't find it, but I remember Merv warbling "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" to Jack Sheldon's horn and the Mort Lindsay Orchestra.
I also remember Merv "Mervifying" the Bobby Goldsboro hit "The Straight Life" (Sonny Curtis) as a duet with Jack Sheldon, who I later learned was a good friend of Jack Webb, which explains his numerous appearances on MARK VII (Webb Prods.) programs. Even later, I would often think back with the allegations or alle"gay"tions about Merv's proclivities, and thought that Merv singing this song was a kind of in-joke or perhaps a "try-and-catch me" moment of lounge-singing defiance.
My grandfather was an avid Merv watcher, so I would watch with him. My favorite guest was Orson Welles who would magically make broken timepieces work again just by us placing the item on the TV set. I couldn't figure out how he did that (now I think I know).
I also remember that Merv was the first show I saw John Williams on right before "Star Wars" began its initial release. If I remember correctly, there was an orchestra on that may have just been Mort Lindsay's augmented, or the actual L.A. Phil, but whoever it was, they did play something from the score. Merv, in his gushing sort of way, was throwing accolades all over the place, how you John Williams brought the movies back to the scores of Korngold and Steiner. This I found quite unusual for a talk show as it seemed to me to be rather "in the weeds" for a mainstream audience. I wrote down the details and thus started me on my love of soundtracks (original scores only please).
That, and the contemporaneous PBS series, "Previn and the Pittsburgh" which has its detractors for Previn's unhidden prickliness and disdain for some composers, I was later to find this out. But where else on standard TV could you see Rozsa and some of the old guard of movie composers actually conduct their music?
I can think of many other fond memories of Merv's show. It was cheap in comparison to Johnny's, but no less entertaining, if only sometimes for Merv's overly enthusiastic build-ups and his silk jacket linings with very mod-1970s patterns. I think he did leave the straight life behind.
And, of course, the devastatingly funny Rick Moranis parodies of Merv (and Cavett also) on SCTV!
-

I sit corrected. In the current vocal and full scores they're not indicated at all. I think I'm remembering them from the Schirmer score which I no longer have. I do have a photocopy of the old handwritten one which has those and even some additional bars that were in the process of being removed.
(Haven't looked at this in a long time. What got me back on it was the partially good, partially excruciating production I saw last night.)

Hello, everyone.
-
I woke up this morning feeling like I'm coming down with something, but have things to do around the apartment and am trying to get them done.
-
Congrats to Jane & Keith on their massive weight loss.

Vibes that DR Mike's surgery goes very well next week and recovery is as close to swift and painless as possible.

Vibes for good health to all DRs.

Yes, I know! I made too much money to qualify for a policy with a smaller deductible without a large monthly payment......so I took the best one I could that would not cost me $$$ I don't have.
Of course in the case of a catastrophic injury/illness....$5000 would be a drop in the bucket....and the rest would be covered.
-
Larry, I'm glad your TB test was negative. TB is no longer a thing of the past, unfortunately.
Hope your ultrasound gives some clues as to what is causing your lump/swelling and you're on your way to recovery very soon. One of the nice things about ultrasound is that it's painless! (I'm a fan of ultrasound technology and would like to see it used more often.)

Very glad that Vixmom is getting some help. I hope you're very happy with the gardening crew.
But then what will you do with all the time on your hands? ;)

Last Thursday I had plans for lunch with my friend Jan. Jan and I grew up together and her birthday is the day after mine, so we usually have a birthday lunch sometime in late May. She'll be out of town, so we had it this past week. She called me that morning to tell me that her friend Janis just learned that the daughter of a close friend in Scotland was murdered by her boyfriend. Arrrghhh! Jan asked if she could bring Janis along to lunch. Of course. I'd heard about Janis, but had never met her. I liked her and was glad we could offer some pleasant company during such a stressful time, but it did put a bit of a damper on a celebratory lunch. I can lunch with Jan again once she returns from vacation.

I've seen cruise ships on the Hudson, maybe they were leaving from Jersey City. They easily were as tall as some of the office buildings in Manhattan. Almost as if you could walk from the ship into the 20th floor of a neighboring building. Could have been an optical illusion. My depth perception has always been problematic and I could never guesstimate how large a room is or how tall someone is.

Oh, no! That's horrible! :(

Congrats to DR Ginny!
-
My sister just called me from the swim meet. My niece's relay won 1st place. And she got 3rd place in 50 back and 5th place in 200 back (bettering her time by 8 seconds). Now she has to rest because they are swimming long course at 6pm. Crazy schedule. So happy for her.
-
So, DRs George and TCB, how does one say Puyallup? Is it pu-YALL-up? (With a bit of "y'all" in there?)
pyoo-AL-up. And Al, like the name, or rhymes with gal or pal or Hal. Not like awl or ball...at least, I've never heard it pronounced it that way.

Jennifer, Congrats to your niece! And Good Luck tonight!

Well, I now have to get ready to go to my parents' house. I'm sure that I will be there for most of the day, so have a good rest of the day, all!
Until later!

Feel better. Ives for Elmore. You have to be better for your grand day out with Chas
Oh, yes. Ives for Elmore, too. :)
And none of that easy stuff, either. Give him the Symphony No. 4.

Congrats to DR Ginny!
Thanks, DR Jennifer!

So much for my walk today. I couldn't do it. Despite the Claritin, as soon as I rounded the steep upward hill, I just started to sneeze, sneeze and sneeze, with my eyes watering up.
So I came back. I really needed to get out and walk, get away from the dumdum upstairs and get a haircut, which would make me feel better. But now I can't. I'm so mad at this stupid stuff in the air today. It was the right temperature too, only 75. This was my window of opportunity. The rest of the week will be far too hot for me to walk. Any temperatures 80 and above is too much. At the end of the walk, it's like a schvitz walk, and that's not comfortable when you're trying to shop, run errands, etc.

Today, I'm "stranded" over here in the East Bay as one of the major bridges are closed for repair this weekend. So, I've planned my weekend accordingly. The goal today is to unpack as much as possible and try and sort out my life. It's a gloomy day here, not very much motivation... but we press on!
Unpacking isn't fun. I will be grateful for Keith when we can finally do so.
-
I had my hair cut today for my last vist to my hairdresser of 16 years. I decided to have her cut bangs agai n since I knew she would do them the way I wanted.
-
Keith is downloading files from my old computer to my new one so I am using my nook.
-
Jennifer, congrats to your niece.

Moved post (formerly Post #149):
I received word late yesterday afternoon that I've been elected to a 2-year term on the board of the American Library Association's Retired Member Round Table, effective at the end of this year's annual conference. That means I get to go to Boston in January and Orlando in June next year...
Congatulations, Ginny! But, I didn't realize that you didn't really retire when you retired. ;)
Hope you enjoy it and you do good things while on the Round Table!
Thanks, DR George!

Oh, and the new bk book arrived!
Mine did, too!

"Variations on America" is about all i can stand of his! Ives is one composer I feel I should like and cannot. I admire and respect him, but . . .

Why isn't Janis on a flight to Scotland?

Exactly. :)

Jennifer, congrats to your niece.
She called me. She was so happy. The relay won by less than a second (.85 seconds). There are only 3 girls from her swim team that are there (that are 9). So they had to take a girl from the girls B team. That girl did so amazing. She swam 3 seconds faster than her previous best and was only 1 second slower than the next slowest girl. So exciting.

Does anyone still wear a hat?
-
The answer to that question is - a resounding yes, apparently. Hats are back with a vengeance. There are hat stores popping up all over the country.

Because it is Janis's friend that needs to go to Scotland.

I love hat stores. The problem is I buy to many hats.
-
I WEAR too many hats - a blessing and a curse, not necessarily in that order.
-
I should wear a hat as I have a nearly natural monk's tonsure, or male pattern baldness, that goes back to my maternal grandfather who was almost totally bald. He made up for that by wearing Homburgs with feathers, and by growing a handlebar moustache. I have tried many different kinds of hats and I always think I look stupid. Maybe it's the kind of shopping one has to do with another. That's true of frames for eyeglasses.

Good afternoon. I spent several hours participating in the North American Migratory Bird Count today. Luckily, it is a nice cool day today.
-
I shall now be on my way to sup and see a show.

The symphony fundraiser was very nice and I even won one of the raffle baskets:
Congratulations. All that chocolate is probably not good for you , though. why not send it here and I'll look after it for you

LOL, DR Vixmom! The 2 bags of Lindt truffles are going to Mom as part of her Mother's Day gift. The rest is up for grabs.
-
Some people can carry off wearing a hat with distinction. Some can't. I am one of the latter.
-
Back from a lovely garden party. It was bittersweet because we were saying goodbye to a friend who is moving to Charlotte for business.
-
Today just wasn't my day. Nothing has gone the way I had hoped.
-
We still love you anyway, DR Dan M. :)

How can we manage to get to page six by one o'clock, and in seven hours we have only gotten to page seven?
-
This photo was taken in the teeming port of Grand Turk. My cruise ship is the blue one on the left. The ship on the right is the Carnival ship, Fantasy. Thirty-two years ago, when I first became a travel agent, Carnival flew me down to Miami to tour their ships. The final ship we toured was their pride and joy, the Fantasy.

I've never been on a cruise ship. It looks pretty darned impressive!
They are pretty damn impressive. And they are a lot of fun.
-
I've seen cruise ships on the Hudson, maybe they were leaving from Jersey City. They easily were as tall as some of the office buildings in Manhattan. Almost as if you could walk from the ship into the 20th floor of a neighboring building. Could have been an optical illusion. My depth perception has always been problematic and I could never guesstimate how large a room is or how tall someone is.
A lot of ships sail from Bayonne (Cape Liberty), NJ.

Congratulations to Jennifer's niece!
-
Well, let me see what I can do about this before I go.
-
I just need one more post.

Well I for one went to a meeting at church with the Vixter. We have been named co leaders of the community garden that we will be creating at the church on the last Sunday of the month
-
Then I did some organizing of the soup kitchen pantry
-
Bought some flowers from the church plant sale
-
Did some grocery shopping
-
Today just wasn't my day. Nothing has gone the way I had hoped.
I am so sorry to hear this
It may be due to my consternation at what am I going to do to get to my friends' other than by Greyhound, which scares me. Maybe I've become more sensitive since my cancer illness? I also have my presurgical screening on the 20th which comes before that, so maybe I need to focus on what comes first.
-
Came home unpacked the car put away the groceries
-
Did some laundry
-
Made some lunch for vixdad and myself
-
Cleaned the kitchen
-
Went to my parents house and collected them and took them to dinner
-
Took them home
-
Went back to church and had a meeting with the Latino deacon about the community garden
-
Went to the store to buy toiletries
-
Came home and put away the new stuff
-
Made dinner for vixdad
-
Did I mention that he has been sick all week?
-
Cleaned cup the kitchen
-
The Vixter came home after working 10 hours ( 5 at each job) and chatted with her as she made her dinner and ate
-
Cleaned the kitchen
-
Decided I was hungry and made a sorta sandwich thing
-
I used a filled a tortilla folded in half with shredded smoked mozzarella , sliced roasted red pepper, and some sliced turkey and toasted it in the frying pan
-
Cleaned the kitchen
-
And that is why I have not been posting
-

I understand your concerns about the trip. Good idea to focus on the screening first.

If you did I missed it. How are his parents?

Thank you both for your words of support. I just pray that I find a way to travel to my friends' in order to attend that conference. It's been weighing on my mind. They were nice enough to get me a weekend pass and I can't let that go to waste. I would feel too guilty and it would almost be like I was rejecting their kind gesture. I may not be expressing how I feel accurately, but I feel bad that it's not an automatic on how to get there. I feel like I was letting them down.
-
Back from dinner (very good) and the show. I'd never seen nor heard one word or note of this show. I have to say that I found it pretty bad - the score is so repetitious and his lyrics are so "knowing" - but I had this idea that a show with this title might actually be about kids and how they feel about being thirteen, which isn't what it's about at all. Imagine my surprise to find out it's about a boy who's about to be Bar Mitzvahed, his parents divorcing and him moving to a small town. I mean, really? Once there, he immediately wants to be with the cool kids and does something bad to the nerdy girl who likes him. So, one has to wait until the end of act two for his realization that it's okay not to be with the cool kids. I mean, that's the plot - with the standard good girl and bad girl, idiot boys, endless talk about getting tongue (that's really the plot of the show) and some language that may have been very current and hip when the show played but is less so now. The production was okay, and I always enjoy watching kids give it their all - and in the bunch there were certainly a couple of really talented kids, one girl especially that I'll probably bring to Kritzerland. A couple of the original cast were there, the director of the movie of Grease was there and one of the co-writers of the book was there.
-
Sounds like an amalgam of any number of "coming of age" movies and TV series.
-
Started to watch "Inherent Vice" which a friend let me borrow.
-
Back from the theatre. One more show of this drek called The Addams Family - highest grossing show in the company's history. I could care less as I'm running far away from a the company I've been with for 20 years. Gotta wait for the memoire's to find out why
-
Well, the birthday celebration with the family was very nice.
-
I got gift cards for Amazon and Fred Meyer, which is more than fine for me!
-
My mom made chicken nuggets (with real chicken!) and fish and chips (and tofu nuggets for my sister and niece). No really, it was all very good!
-
For dessert, my mom made (at my request) Chocolate Lush (http://www.cooks.com/recipe/pc1sa67u/chocolate-lush-dessert.html). This isn't the actual recipe she used, just a representative sample.
-
Since we didn't eat all the Lush, she's going to bring it to my sister's house tomorrow for our Mother's Day celebration. :D
-
And since we're so close...
-
IT'S PAGE NINE!!
-
Well, I need to go to bed. Tomorrow (officially, today...it's after midnight ;) ), I'm working concessions for a local production of a ballet version of "Don Quixote," then I'm getting some Costco pizza for the Mother's Day celebrations (it's what my mom wants), then I'm bringing the pizzas to my sister's house for the actual celebrating.
-
But before I go...

Happy Mother's Day to All Mothers (and Mothers-by-Proxy)!
