Well, you've read the notes, the notes were inside out, and now it is time for you to post until the inside out cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: TELESTHESIA!
-
First post after BK!
-

-
DR TCB - I am sorry to hear about the insurance news. May your new wheels eventually come to pass.
-
DR Jane - I think the new counters look great. If you can find a place, I vote for moving to new temporary digs. With a better bed.
-
bk - great notes. It was really fun reading about your morning yesterday.
-
Can anyone go to the Disney commissary, or do you need a special "in"? I guess you would, in order to get onto the lot in the first place.
-
Good morning, all! I will shortly head down to the rubble of Toyland: Chelsea Music is coming back for several things they forgot last week, and I believe DR Ben and Anthony are stopping by. At 2:00, I have been invited to a wine tasting-book signing at a store on 26th Street, a block from Toyland. Raymond Blake, author of the book Breakfast In Burgundy: A Hungry Irishman in the Belly of France, is the husband of Fionnuala Hunt, our concert mistress on my recordings of EILEEN, DEAREST ENEMY, and ROBERTA. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

That sounds like great fun, DR elmore3003! Well, the second half of the day, at any rate.
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
Yes, Larry, we will be coming over sometime after noon.
-
Good morning!
-
Have fun DR ELMORE!
Home and/or hotel vibes for DR JANE.

Saturday morning greetings! Sorry for being E & T yesterday - I was catching up with my friend Becky over a long lunch and then with Rob and Mary Linda over dinner.
-
DR Jane - I think the new counters look great. If you can find a place, I vote for moving to new temporary digs. With a better bed.
So do we. Two problems with those places, much more money and they are currently booked. We might stop at a couple places closer to our condo and see what dates they will have something.
-
That sounds like great fun, DR elmore3003! Well, the second half of the day, at any rate.
Just what I was about to say.
-
Good morning, all.
And it's another late one! I seem to be doing the staying up later and later each night thing, and I think we all know that's the path to degradation.
-
Have fun DR ELMORE!
Home and/or hotel vibes for DR JANE.
Much appreciated.
It would be nice if we could stay near the condo and across the street from the coffee shop. Keith loves their coffee and could get some first thing in the morning. Waiting until 10:00 or later is hard on him.
-
I am in the hotel laundry home. The machines are clean and there is a comfortable chair to sit in.
-
BK's morning at Disney sounds like a perfect one all around. I share that nervous anticipation for each new Pixar, so it's great to have such a positive recommendation for INSIDE OUT.
-
The only time I've been to the Disney studio was the Home Theater Forum visit in 2012. It was wonderful, if rushed because of how tightly we were scheduled. They served us a great breakfast spread (a private one on a patio, not at the commissary) and we were the first audience for the just-completed WRECK-It-RALPH, in 3-D. They were very gracious hosts, and it is quite the feeling just to walk the studio grounds.
-
Have a great day today, DR Elmore!
-
The clothes washed very quickly. My plan was to add softner however the rinse cycle on e load was still very sudsy and the other machine never let me know when I went from wash to rinse.
-
I need to read a little now or the library will take my books back before I finish them.
-
I need to do some outdoorsy work around the place, so that's what the day holds in these here parts. Might go to a movie or something tonight.
-
Can't believe the Tony awards are tomorrow already. As far as I know, I'll be here for them.
-
Which gets us to a new page.
I think it's time to scare up a late breakfast. I shall try not to frighten it too much.
-
Hi all, Sorry to be E and T. Between being busy at work and going to baseball games it's been a hectic week

I am very excited to say that my sister, Martha Forsyth Haut, has published her first novel. It's called Left (or as Amazon says LEFT;LEFT. This is DR Jon's mom. I read an earlier draft and it truly is a wonderful book full of rich characters. It's set in Southwest Missouri during the Civil War. I loved her writing style and her characters are so real. It's a fast read and I really hope you'll give it a go. Anyway, it's Kindle only right now, but she's going to have it book form this fall.
-
Haven't caught up yet, have some errands to run and a lawn to mow before the rain hits
-
Got a passport to Canada, and it's hopefully going to be sometime this week.
-
And the word of the day is: TELESTHESIA!
And The Song Of The Day Is: THE WINDMILLS OF YOUR MIND
-
Tonight I'm off to see a band performance performing songs by The Troggs. Anyone heard of them?
-
Seen them in concert in 1968.
-
Troggs! I remember them, but I never saw them perform LIVE!
-
I think they sang a song called "You Really Got Me" which I liked.....I think they did.
-
Nice cool Saturday here, and tonight I am taking two of my sisters to see 7 Brides for 7 Brothers....I get to sit in the audience.
-
Very exciting DR CILLA LIZ.
-
Is this a new thing, needing a passport to go to Canada?
-
I'm up after almost eight hours of sleep, and David Wechter should be here in about twenty-five minutes.
-
We had rain and thunder all night, and now it is a very bright, very sunny, clear, sparkling Saturday.
-
I guess once you're on the lot it's okay to eat at the commissary, although I don't know that I would have attempted it if Adryan hadn't led the way.
-
Just got back from a delightful visit with Larry. We chatted and laughed and left with goodies from Toyland.
Toyland, RIP.
-
Was away from computer yesterday. My friends visited because it is their son's birthday (celebrated Thurs, and also yesterday) and they also wanted to see me before my surgery on the 16th.
My friends left this morning. They have to get back to the lambs, chickens, dogs, canaries, Mommy the Cat and my DC Minny the Cat.
-
I am in the hotel laundry home. The machines are clean and there is a comfortable chair to sit in.
Jane, will you eventually get your own washer and dryer in your condo, or will you always do laundry in the hotel laundry home?
-
BK's morning at Disney sounds like a perfect one all around. I share that nervous anticipation for each new Pixar, so it's great to have such a positive recommendation for INSIDE OUT.
Agreed! Now, I really can't wait to see it!

Topic of the Day:
Fahrenheit 451
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Heaven Can Wait
These are the only movies that I've seen her in.
-
Our movie collection:
-Mrs. Browns Boys
-Anne of Green Gables
-Alfred Hitchcock Series
-Lincoln
-Monty Python: The Holy Grail (I do not recommend this due to it's use of profanity and is not suited for younger children)
-Bad Grandpa
And some Land Rover guide from the eighties......
-
Back from finessing a mix and then some eggs benedict at Vivian's Cafe.
-
And I am home from Toyland and the book signing. My friend Don stopped in and pulled more things for Chelsea Music. He'll be in on Tuesday, as will Joshie, to remove the items.
It was good to see DR Ben and Anthony as well. It was a visit full of gossip and laughs.
There is an office down the hall from mine that is moving to another floor. On my way out, I passed one of the people working there and asked if they wanted anything I was pitching. He went off to check with a lady also moving things from the office. They came back and took three of my large industrial shelves. I told them they were welcome to more and if they wanted anything to stop by on Tuesday morning.
-
The book signing was also a wine tasting: I had a glass of red pinot and some white chardonnay. It was great to see the loverly Fionnuala and Raymond, who signed a book for me. My three-(or is it four now?)time Grammy winning producer Judy and her husband Curt were there, and I told Judy I might be dragging her into more mischief soon.
Then, I came home, and I am starving.
-
I am in the hotel laundry home. The machines are clean and there is a comfortable chair to sit in.
Wow, a laundry home.....I only have a laundry room
-
Thanks JRand and George. I'm very excited for her
-
Me: I'm in a tornado watch tonight
Mom: and I have diarrhea.
Maybe TMI but the response totally cracked me up.
-
Hello, everyone.
I am pooped, wiped out, beat from a hectic week.
-
Cilla, you missed our Espanol evening. Some of us (me) found we can no longer carry on a conversation.
-
I was pleased to see TCB online last night. And especially pleased to hear the good report on his eye surgery.
-
from DR George:
It will be a while before I can get a new hi-def TV...not necessarily because I can't afford it, but because I REALLY need to clean my room before I can even think about getting my dead TV out of there.
_________________________________________________ _____________________________
What a great incentive to get that done! I've been known to use the promise of treats as rewards to help me get things done.
-
DR Jane - I think the new counters look great. If you can find a place, I vote for moving to new temporary digs. With a better bed.
Me three (Jane already voted.) Since you're in adventure mode anyway, why not try someplace else? Of course, you just gave us an excellent reason: they're booked!
-
TMI is a song from the new Sami show. It's hard to get laughs in songs - I'm pretty good at that, but there were really big laughs in the bridge of TMI.
-
Having trouble posting again.
-
Good morning, all.
And it's another late one! I seem to be doing the staying up later and later each night thing, and I think we all know that's the path to degradation.
If you keep staying up later it'll soon be early.
-
Will we be able to hear TMI? (the song, that is)
-
I had a long talk with my cousin today. It seemed even longer. She's shopping for a new car and hasn't found one yet that she really likes and can afford. It doesn't help at all that the two family members who went with her both badger her to do as THEY think she should.
I've heard that some families are supportive to one another and help each other out. Ours isn't one of them.
-
Congrats to Cilla's sister. Cilla, do you do--or want to do--any fiction?
-
TCB, how's your vision now with the "new" eye? (Newly refurbished eye?) Is reading easier now? Can you drive?
-
DR Dan M, how are you doing? Nice you were able to see your friends.
-
DR Dan M, how are you doing? Nice you were able to see your friends.
OK, just concerned about what the co-pay amount will be and if everything will go well with the surgery overall.
-

That's very understandable.
Calming vibes to Dan M!

Wishing loads of salesfor her. Please remind me in a few months to look for it. At 15 books behinds my reading schedule I am obviously not reading much these days.

Got a passport to Canada, and it's hopefully going to be sometime this week.
Just for Canada? Is that faster than a regular passport? Have a good trip?
-
Is this a new thing, needing a passport to go to Canada?
I believe it began shortly after 911.
-
I am in the hotel laundry home. The machines are clean and there is a comfortable chair to sit in.
The new machines have been purshased. I have to wait until the floors are installed but might wait until after we move in since the new mattress will be delivered with the washer and dryer.
Jane, will you eventually get your own washer and dryer in your condo, or will you always do laundry in the hotel laundry home?
-
Sorry, it is too much of a pain to correct that on my Nook.
-

Lol. I should have been sleeping, not doing laundry.
My new laundry room is a fraction of the size of my old one that was so large my office was in it.

Keith found the Comfort Inn walking distance to downtown Vancouver and it has pillowtop beds. It is more money but will be much better than here which isn't an option anyway.

Sorry about that.
-
Good evening. More rain today. Very strange weather for Arizona in June.
-
Been relaxing and dozing, then got a tiny bit of pasta bolognese from Gelson's and came home and ate it all up - only about three ounces I should think.
-
Now watching a "thriller" from last year that I never even heard of, which I find odd since it stars Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth.
-

Got a passport to Canada, and it's hopefully going to be sometime this week.
I just got a call from my sister and she's in Canada. She and her boyfriend are at an atheist convention.
Just had to share. :)

Having trouble posting again.
My wi-fi crapped out on me at home this afternoon. I was up in my bedroom watching some TV, but I just wasn't getting good reception. I hope that it's resolved by the time I get home.

Jeanne, if your cousin is adventurous, maybe she could check out www.eliomotors.com. Their cars are supposed to only cost $6800 and get 85 mpg!
-
Their tag line is...

-
Well, the intermission is over and it's time to clean up and clear out.
Be back later.
-
I did something stupid today. I walked 8 miles wearing the wrong shoes. I now have severe blisters on the bottom of my feet and one heel.
-
Keith nd I signed up for the newcomers hike on Monday. It is an easy 4 mile one and I'm not sure I can do it. If not I will be very disappointef.

I've been meaning to organize my tax files for several years, too. I did do some of it, but I have lots yet to do.

There are several companies, I believe coming out with prototypes of nonconventional vehicles. IIRC, one was started by a female attorney who is disabled and wanted cars that are easier for other disabled people. Lots of interesting things on the horizon.

Yes we have needed passports for Canada for years we had to get one for the vixter when she was still quite young

Oh, my cousin would want an automatic. Too bad.

Vixdad and I binge watched True detective today. A completely non productive waste of a lovely day. It was wonderful

Vixmom, how are your wrist and arm doing?
-
Well we Made it to page 5 and I have to be up in 6 hours for church so good night
-
Vixmom, how are your wrist and arm doing?
Much better still some aching. The damp weather really was making my arm ache earlier but it isn't definitely on the mend. The wrist is still tender and I still have lots muted movement but definitely much better than it was thank you for asking!
-
Goodnight!
-
Good night from me, as well.

Back from a mile and a half jog.

Foot vibes for Jane. Ouch.
Thank you. At the very bottom of my heel, much lower than where I expect to get a blister, I have the largest one I have ever seen.

Those kinds of cars are certainly something that is needed. People are getting older and more people are getting older and living longer. Their differing abilities should be accommodated.
