Well, you've read the notes, the notes were out of retrograde, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're happy that MOOcury is out of retrograde, too.

Good morning, all!

I have to be out of the apartment by 7:45 for my 2-bus trip to 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue. When I return home, I will crash for a bit, but I suspect this will screw up my entire day for accomplishing anything.

DR cillaliz, what an ordeal! I've heard of bats inhabiting attics, but I've never heard about bats actually gaining access to a bedroom and biting the sleepers.  I'm sorry you and the cats had to go through this.

The dress rehearsal of ONCE UPON A MATTRESS was enjoyable.  It's a nice little production that, this week -- tech week -- is suffering from ... tech.  Being an outdoor venue, rains affected rehearsals and apparently there were absences due to illness, so they're in panic mode.

But the cast and the directing are spot on.  The director knows his stuff and the leads are comic perfection.  Every one of them completely gets where a joke or a gag begins and ends, and how to make it land perfectly.  And what a pleasure that is.  The singing is all good and the small band does fine.

It's funny and charming, and I know that whatever blips there may be, they'll have a great opening tonight.  Friends and I will be there next week to see it.

Friday morning greetings!  I have an appointment at the dentist's office at 11 to see what's what with my temporary crown.  I've decided it's either broken or gone all together and I swallowed it.  Of course, I'm also scheduled to work at the garage sale at 11:45, but I've sent word that I'll get there when I can.

Can I go to California now?

I hate temporary crowns.  Never had good luck with them.

Apparently I'm the only one here whose dentist has moved into the world of same day crowns.  And it was four years ago I got mine.  I'm telling you, there's no other way to live.

How could a dog or a person knock you off your bike?  I ride a lot around dogs and people and as long as you can stop if you need to I don't see how a dog or person could really force you off your bike.  Maybe just ride where there aren't a lot of other people.

Yesterday in the mail, my daughter received a letter from the AZ DES about her application for state insurance. They are requiring proof of my income and my DH's income before they decide whether or not to cover her.

She sent that application back when Obamacare registration was going on. Obamacare said she had to first apply for state insurance. That was what -- almost two years ago?

Some co-workers of mine (about 20 years ago) talked about going to someone locally who did crowns in one day.  I remember them going on about how it was quite the revelation.  I, fortunately (so far), haven't needed any crowns.

Several years ago, my mom needed eight crowns (at the same time! :o) and went to Mexico to have them done.  A friend of hers lives down in New Mexico near the Mexican border and has been going to the same Mexican dentist for years (I guess she did a lot of research before deciding on which dentist to go to), so my mom felt pretty confident in the dentist's abilities.

Anyway, she stayed with her friend and got them all done and when she got back, her dentist up here looked at them.  He said that they guy did very good work...and it was about a 10th of the cost!  So if you know anyone who lives near Mexico and gets dental work done, it can be worth the cost of the trip down there.

More vibes for DR Jrand's father. I went through a period of several months in which my nose would bleed for no apparent reason. I thought the doctors or nurses ruptured some membrane, but I later learned that my platelet count was extremely low, so there was no coagulation to stop the bleeding. Kind of a temporary hemophilia. Once I received an infusion of platelets, it stopped. This went on until my bone marrow kicked back in and did what it's supposed to do, but even though some time has passed, my white blood cells are still not yet to normal. They're getting there. My platelets got there first.

DR George, I don't know exactly how much it's going to cost the insurance company. I've heard just the one shot costs anywhere from $2000.00-10,000.00. I haven't seen the bill.  I did call my insurance company and I have a $350 emergency room copay so I'll have to pay $350 each trip to the ER which I believe will be 4 times since that's the only place you can get rabies shots. Luckily the copay includes everything I get in the ER so it should cost me $1400 out of pocket.  But I'm just guessing.

So, one dentist (not the one I usually see, but his associate) and 2 technicians worked for an hour trying to replace the temporary crown that broke yesterday and I was finally advised just to go without until my permanent crown goes in Tuesday (or Monday if I get lucky).  I'm having to eat very carefully and avoid very cold things because of the sensitivity.  In a dental history that includes a lot of crowns, including my 4 front teeth, this is a first.

Well, this is kinda cool.  I just read THIS (http://www.playbill.com/news/article/musical-from-hamiltons-lin-manuel-miranda-now-available-for-licensing-351187) article on Playbill.com about Lin-Manuel Miranda having a new musical available through the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.  I was curious if I could find out how much it would cost per performance because it's only 14 minutes long.  I have no intentions of even suggesting TAO do it...I was just curious.  Anyway, I followed the links to request information and had to stop at the login page (I don't have a login and don't want one), but the picture on that page showed several other shows that R&HO handled and the most prominent was this:

It's a little early, but the floors of both bathrooms are being refinished (or something like that) and BOTH are out of commission.  How rude!  >:(

I don't know why they scheduled the work to start two hours before the building is closed AND while people are still working.  I can understand if they scheduled one bathroom at a time so that people can still have some access before they have to leave, but this was not a good way to do it, if you ask me...and they didn't. :P

I am more worried about being knocked off by a dog or person.

How could a dog or a person knock you off your bike?  I ride a lot around dogs and people and as long as you can stop if you need to I don't see how a dog or person could really force you off your bike.  Maybe just ride where there aren't a lot of other people.

A dog off leash or on a retractable leash, a person suddenly moving in front of you, a person riding a bike and losing control passing, slippery gravel, and of course cars but I would try to avoid the street.   I know too many people who have had acvidents riding their bikes and I seem to be a magnet for these types of accidents.

Between yesterday afternoon and last night I slept over 11 hours.  Haven't done that in a long time.  I'm still tired. I feel like I lost a week. It's been something every day this week. Today I did go to a board meeting but then just gave up and came home.  I only have one client who seems really displeased at the moment.  I did go in and return my messages this morning. that was something

You slep longer thn Bruce did!

I wish I could do that.

That is crazy!  Vibes going without isn't a problem.

Good eve, all. Just entered in now. My, my, what a wonderful pack of people on here tonight.

I'm down for some cereal with corn syrup and milk, and a bit of flavouring in it as well.

I started Season 4 today, but I am not sure it has the same appeal.

It was produced for American TV and it has a very different feel.
