BK, that was a very nice tribute to Patrick Macnee in your notes.

The story of my friend Craig's missing son has ended sadly: Christen was found dead yesterday in his car. Foul play may be a possibility, but it's believed his death was the result of a car accident.
Comcast and tv/sound installation vibes for DR JANE.

On Wednesday night at rehearsal, I had taken my starter pistol (a .22 with a closed barrel) for the actress to use in her final scene. I didn't have any blanks with me or in the pistol.
After rehearsal, I thought she put it back in its box on the table. When everyone was gone, I picked up the box to take the gun back home - and the box was empty. I looked around a bit, but I didn't see it.
I messaged her when I got home, she said she had put it on the prop table with the glasses and bottles. The prop table is behind all the furniture we have to move back against the wall after every rehearsal.
The next day - after the middle school group theatre workshop....the gun was missing.....it's gone. Some kid took it.... We looked all over last night. GONE.
So we have a mystery. I would say it is my fault for not MAKING her hand me the pistol when she was done with it. Nobody can be hurt with it, unless they steal some .22 blanks and it misfires - which it will do if it's not cleaned properly after being used.
So....there you are....brats. We had been missing books of matches as well, but I figured some high school smoker had taken them, and I put them in a new place.
Keith sure can use some toe vibes. Twice before we moved he had something removed and twice it returned. He picked a podiatrist off of the internet and we went to her yesterday. We liked her very much and she removed it again, and sent it out again for a biopsy.
One local doctor found, a few more to go.
Supreme Court rules against gay marriage bans.
It's legal, y'all.
I'm up again - I guess I got about three hours of sleep. Waiting for a call back that will hopefully contain some good news.
Healthy toe vibes for DH Keith!

Yikes! Starter pistols may not shoot real bullets, but you're right, they can do some damage. :-\

Look Me Over!
Not very eloquently written, this passage from a news story does point out some interesting happenings on this date:
The ruling comes on a symbolic date. On June 26, 2003, in Lawrence v. Texas, justices ruled that states must stop criminalizing homosexual conduct. Then, exactly ten years later, on June 26, 2013 in U.S. v. Windsor, the Supreme Court struck down part of the Defense of Marriage Act that denied benefits to same sex couples.
The ruling in this case, Obergefell v. Hodges, also happened on June 26.

But don't pass the plate, boys,
I'm loving the singing!
I don't think we have to report it to anyone.....it may turn up before the weekend is over.
Glad to hear that DR Cillaliz is starting to feel better.
Page Two IndieGo Campaign vibes for Kritzerland.
Boy, two bad Supreme Court decisions for John Boehner, Justice Scalia, and their scumbag cronies. Anything that puts their panties in a bunch just perks me right up.
We are settled into our room in the landmark (aka OLD) building of the Westin St. Francis on Union Square. Actually the old part of the hotel has been modernized and our room is quite comfortable.
More toe vibes for Keith.
I'm glad you found a podiatrist you like so quickly. Finding new doctors and dentists is one of the hardest parts of relocating, IMO.

We dropped our bags and headed for the convention center to get registered and scope things out a bit. Took the shuttle (thanks, Keith!) back to the hotel and went across the street for a nice lunch. Chilling until it's time to get a taxi to the pier where we meet our sunset dinner cruise.
I have to go to a funeral tomorrow and watch my partner, Joy, compete in an Arthur Murray dance competition tomorrow. I don't do Arthur Murray anymore. I don't like the setup of the studios and how they somehow vacuum your wallet whenever you get near the place. But I have a number of friends who'll be competing, so I can go and enjoy watching them dance.
Well, I must be off. I'm ushering for a local dance studio's end of year recital, I've Got the Music in Me (https://ticketsales.washingtoncenter.org/Online/SODance). I'm bringing my Kindle, just in case I'm not interested in watching any of it. ;)
