Since my aunt is visiting from California, and my cousin and his wife are coming up from Oregon on Friday, and I have rehearsals at night, I don't have any other time to visit and do things with them and the family, so I'm taking off three whole days and will use my vacation time. I have plenty of it. :)

I don't know. I called them to find out what time I need to pick up my aunt today and take her to my sister's house, but they never answered the phone. I did leave a message, but I guess I won't find out until later today when I go over to their house.

I'll have my tablet with me during the day, so unless the battery dies (I'll also have the charging cable), I'll have the option to check in and ketchup before I get home after the rehearsal. Tonight, we're starting at the real time, which is 9:00 pm! It was decided to start later because of the recent heat. Hopefully, people won't mind going to a late show. It was quite comfortable at last night's rehearsal.

I had to start late yesterday because of possible rain, which thankfully didn't come. It's a huge job, and might still go into tomorrow because of the work involved and because I must juggle it with receiving a gentleman caller from the heating and cooling company because the upper floor isn't getting the amount of ventilation the lower one gets.

I wish it would! Not because i want it for myself; I would like to have a foundation to restore, record, and make available for performance American musical theatre written before 1950 and a foundation to award sums yearly for various causes and educational programs i believe in.

I wouldn't mind having a few million for myself to support me, family, friends, and personal causes.

It's not so hot.....maybe the new one will be better. I really don't like many of the "added" songs, but there are some new ones in the revised version of the show that are much better.

Wouldn't that combination make a great comedic cabaret number, though? :)

I can just see someone singing the song as Julie Andrews. Or doing the number as a parade of personalities, starting with Julie, hitting Carol Channing about midway through, and ending with Ethel Merman.

I'm wondering how much of that played at the Phoenix before the producers moving the show to Broadway forced them to drop "We've Just Begun."

DR JOHN G - it is definitely British....but the Milly is more so than Adam..... But even at that, her voice is less annoying and cloying than that of Jane Powell....

Once on the Prairie Home Companion - there was a couple who did some Broadway songs - he played the mandolin and she played the fiddle. They sang "Shall We Dance" and "Tonight" (I think), but I can find no evidence on YouTube or elsewhere.

My sister also told me that our cousin from Oregon is having some pains that he's going to have checked out tomorrow, so he and his wife probably aren't coming up to visit. This is not how this vacation was supposed to turn out. :P

Michael I am sorry. At least with the popularity of gluten free diets it will be easier to eat out. I would not want to go on it though and do feel for you.

Do you already take meds for acid reflux?

We screens roll with a magnet so there isn't an extra door. From most views it appears the door is just open as you can't see the screen. Vibes we don't have any people or pets crash through the screen ;D

Well, my aunt is in the hospital and is doing much better. She doesn't have colitis, it looks like she has diverticulosis, which I guess is not as bad. If she's better tomorrow, she can leave. If not, they want to keep her another night. We got to visit her and she's pretty hopeful. :)
