I need to walk to Zabar's this morning. They open in another hour.
Mr Anthony Morelli just left after a delightful social call. I'm debating now whether to nap or work on the Moross score. i think the nap is winning.
One of the questioners was really mean, I thought, asking the designer to either: (a) agree that what they did was a mess (in which case it would be see, they admit they created a mess) or (b) to defend their work (in which case they didn't see what was wrong with what they did and the questioner treated it as just as bad).
It's a lose-lose question for a judge who's in power to ask of the designer, and I thought a bit hateful.

I've been trying to take care of cleaning and laundry and errands a little at a time, so that I won't have much to do come the two eye surgeries. The doctor told me I'll be able to drive the next day, but I question that. I think he was forgetting that we're correcting my vision to my reading Rx, not my distance Rx. I would not want to drive wearing my reading glasses. As it takes about a month for one's eyes to stabilize, and about two weeks for new glasses to arrive, I could have a lengthy period without driving. I like to stock up anyway and I'm trying to cover all the bases.

Vibes you are pleased with the results of the surgeries, and the way you did the correction!
Nice link DR GEORGE. I love that song.
Here is another favorite version of mine about a similar television show.....we had a very DRAMATIC and MYSTERIOUS dance routine to this song....if you can imagine.

Congrats to Bk on hitting 82000 posts!
That's something worth celebrating.
I am not a fan of Japanese foodstuffs.....so I know nothing about them. I shall read today's TOD posts with interest.
I've sent my flight requests to Ohio. It was a bear finding nonstop flights.
Nap? Work? Nap? Work? Nap? Work? Nap? Work?
Hi everyone! Today is the first day since surgery that I fell pretty close to 100%. I still have twinges and vague pains, which I hope are healing pains, around the areas where extra mesh was placed. Not every food is agreeing with me yet, so my viscera are not fully recovered from all that poking and prodding. After all it was a lengthy surgery (almost 3x as long as was planned) and a 3x as long hospital stay. I'm no longer taking any meds, which I dislike taking anyway. I still need to take dumb loratadine (Claritin) otherwise I have sneezing attacks here in the hot, dry desert.
I'm happy to feel up to be back here with all'a'youse (for those back East).

Same vibes from here, too.
I don't eat sushi. Like Mr Pulliam, I like my fish cooked.
TcB that must have been quite frightening. Hugs to you my friend
Lance, my Absolute Mobility specialist, told me that I would need a chariot.
First problem. My car is too small to support a lift.

He told me a chariot is a small trailer that hooks on the back of my car to hold the scooter. The starting price is somewhere between 4 and 5 thousand dollars.
And he could let me have it for only $43,000.00!!
I don't think I will be getting the used scooter from the friend of my sister.
