Well, you've read the notes, the notes were weird and spoke of a tummy, and now it is time for you to post until the weird cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SNICKERSNEE!
-
"Annie" is playing right now. :)
-
I thoroughly enjoyed this week's "The Broadway Radio Show." :D
-
~ ~ ~ VIBES, VIBES, & MORE VIBES ~ ~ ~ for the father of DR Jrand65 and all who love and care for him.

I thoroughly enjoyed this week's "The Broadway Radio Show." :D
DITTO!
-
I will be scarce here the next few days with the family visit and a road trip to Duluth.
-
Wishing an easy fast for those who are celebrating Yom Kippur today.
-
Good morning, all! I have no memory of a single dream last night, but I do remember that I had a whopper around 2:00AM.
-
This is another Columbia day. I hope that I will finish up the Moross today, but it may take me till tomorrow to finish it. Last night, when I got home from dinner with Val, I took care of the two major fixes from yesterday's library session.
-
Yogi Berra has died.
-
DR vixmom, is this the end of your trip or are you visiting other theme parks during your Florida jaunt?
-
I need to call US Air about a wheelchair and gate info. I have a memory that, since they use a smaller airline company for flights to Dayton, that I once went to the wrong terminal and had to drag my luggage to another.
-
DR cillaliz, how many apple trees do you have? Will you plant more?
-
Wishing an easy fast for those who are celebrating Yom Kippur today.
Ditto!
-
This seems like a good day to send out good vibes to everybody. So, I will.
-
Wednesday morning greetings! For some reason our entire household was up and about before 7am. Rob and Mary Linda, of course, had to go to work, but there was no good reason for Richard and me to be up, too. Ah, well...
-
Good morning, all.
Just one weird little music dream involving the closing song in Assassins.
Coffee!
-
And the word of the day is: SNICKERSNEE!
I'm drawing mine as we speak!
-
I'm just on my cell phone at the moment (long story) but will try to listen to the radio show.
I'll do it right later.
-
Good morning, all.
And more wishes for an easy day of fasting for those observing Yom Kippur.
-
An illustrated 215-year history of the Popemobile! :)

Good idea.
-
Vibes for MR BK and The Tummy.
Nice notes and enjoyable radio show with lots of clips.
-
Thanks to all for the vibes for my father. He is about the same today, but there is some improvement. He can talk more and at least is getting some sleep now and then.
-
Well, I guess that is better than the alternative, DR Jrand65. May things continue on the upward path.
-
Tonight is Kerwin Matthews night on TCM....all of his Harryhausen Dynamation films and The Garment Jungle mentioned by DR JOHN G yesterday.....
Starts at 8 p.m. EST
-
Continued vibes for father and your family DRJrand.

WELCOME TO
MY WORLD PAGE TWO!
-
First photo where the green & magenta looks pretty.
-
I am home from Columbia. I could have finished up today, except for tweo errors on my part: I forgot blank music paper to do some corrections and I forgot to edit the final number. Oy!
-
I also need to think about the Ohio car rental/
-
Opera on helium:

-
I know it is all over everyone's news feed elsewhere, and in the news, but since it has been mentioned here previously, it is worth noting that the song "Happy Birthday" is now legally considered to be public domain.
-
That is good news, especially since it already seems to be used publically.
-
Wheelchair assistance accomplished, flights confirmed.
-
Fantastic, DR elmore3003!
Now, all you need is the girl computer speech!!
-
Wheelchair assistance accomplished, flights confirmed.
Excellent!
-
I have made an appointment with the Best Buy Geek Squad. If my laptop problem can be diagnosed in under 15 minutes they won't charge me. I am hoping for that, and an easy fix so I can return home with my computer.
-
An internal crack on my screen could have caused the problem. I can't imaging how I could have cracked the screen so I really doubt it. She also said a loose wire might be the problem. There is still the possibility it is the video card.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep - could have been longer but for the incessant ringing of the telephonic device at nine.
-
And I can still fit into my suit. Big relief.
-
I still have to take care of the car rental and deal with the bus to LaGuardia.
-
And I can still fit into my suit. Big relief.
Great news. DR elmore3003! Not only a great relief in terms of logistics, but look at all the money you will save, too. :)
-
I still have to ...deal with the bus to LaGuardia.
Show it who's boss. Give it what for.
-
I'm full of all kinds of helpful hints today!
-
DR Jane - I think I know a thing or two about loose wires.
-
:)
-
I will be scarce here the next few days with the family visit and a road trip to Duluth.
~~~Travel Vibes for Singdaw!!~~~
-
Yogi Berra has died.
This is one of those "I didn't know that he was still alive" moments.
-
I don't think I can fast today, frankly. Haven't eaten anything since about six yesterday.
-
Wonder if Jerry's Deli will be empty.
-
Back! With a replacement modem/router from Comcast.
I'll spare you all the uninteresting story of the old one's unexpected demise. Suffice it to say that getting this one successfully activated just took two hours out of my life and one hour out of a wonderful woman's in Arizona. (To the best of my knowledge, it wasn't DR Laura.)
-
The radio interview is great! My cell phone crapped out for the last five minutes of it this morning, but I'll be listening again later.
-
And I can still fit into my suit. Big relief.
:) One less thing you need to do, or spend money on.
-
DR Jane - I think I know a thing or two about loose wires.
LOL I'm sure I do too, just not the computer kind.
-
Tonight is Kerwin Matthews night on TCM....all of his Harryhausen Dynamation films and The Garment Jungle mentioned by DR JOHN G yesterday.....
Starts at 8 p.m. EST
Cool.
-
I used to be in love with Lance Kerwin, once upon a time.
-
But I guess that's a different kettle of what is it, fish.
-
Three!
-
Wowee - PAGE THREE!
-
But I guess that's a different kettle of what is it, fish.
Rather.
-
Wheelchair assistance accomplished, flights confirmed.
That's great, Larry!
-
And I can still fit into my suit. Big relief.
Whew!
;D
-
I used to be in love with Lance Kerwin, once upon a time.
I wasn't in love with him, but I certainly had a crush.
;)
Back from a Philly Cheesesteak. Amusingly, Jerry's Deli, a JEWISH deli, was fairly full. And the bowling alley was jammed. When I asked why, they said because all the nice, Jewish children kept home for Yom Kippur were bowling instead of at temple. And there were non-Jewish children there, which means their parents kept them home from school because they thought they could get away with it.
Yep.
-
Okay, it's off to a dress rehearsal for the likes of moi.
-
Laters, gaters.
He is going to rehearsal, I am so glad. (A Sondheim reference.)
I hear ya. ::)
I used to be in love with Lance Kerwin, once upon a time.
Fascinating to read on wiki about what's happened to Lance Kerwin the past couple of years.
What's the joke that i think was by Henny Youngman: I've been on a diet for a week. So far I've lost 7 days.
-
Is school closed for everybody on Yom Kippur in California like it seems to be in New York City?
-
What's the joke that i think was by Henny Youngman: I've been on a diet for a week. So far I've lost 7 days.
That reminded me of this meme that I've seen:
(http://theamericanmetalsigncompany.com/shop/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/8/0/80106.jpg)
-
But when I was looking for that, I also found this:
(http://izquotes.com/quotes-pictures/quote-i-ve-been-on-a-diet-for-two-weeks-and-all-i-ve-lost-is-fourteen-days-totie-fields-293740.jpg)
-
Isn't it amazing what you can find on the Internet?
;)
-
Excellent find, George!
It makes more sense as part of Totie Fields' act than Henny Youngman's.
-
Well things are moving right along for DR ELMORE which is good.
-
Well, I'm happy to say I had no problem getting to and from work. A lot of people took the day off. And the timing worked in my favor.
-
DR elmore: I recommend Hotwire.com for a car rental. Sometimes you don't know the name of the company till you pay for it but I personally don't think that makes a difference. They do tell you whether the rental desk is located in the airport or offsite.
-
New adele CD is on the way in November, for those who are fans of hers.
-
That should be Adele, not adele.
-
Well...
-
...since...
-
...we're so close...
-
IT'S FINALLY PAGE FOUR!!
:D
Well, this is an interesting tidbit...The Tony Awards Are Likely Leaving Radio City Again (http://www.playbill.com/news/article/the-tony-awards-are-likely-leaving-radio-city-again-363820).
-
Here's the first paragraph:
The Tony Awards have been told by Radio City Music Hall that the 6,200-seat theatre will not be available for the annual ceremony next year, according to a report in The New York Times.
-
And...
The news comes a day after Radio City announced plans to move its New York Spectacular from spring to summer (http://www.playbill.com/news/article/rockettes-new-york-spectacular-will-return-to-radio-city-next-summer-363771), with performances scheduled to begin June 15, 2016, just a week after the Tonys, which are planned for early June.
-
And...
The Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/23/theater/theaterspecial/tony-awards-may-leave-radio-city-for-beacon-theater.html) reported that "barring a last-minute change of heart" by Madison Square Garden Company (MSGC), which manages Radio City, the ceremony will return to the much smaller concert venue, the Beacon Theater, which has less than half the seats, 2,900.
-
And...
The change would be a disappointment for the Broadway community, which counts on the extra seats, not just for industry people who want to attend Broadway's biggest night, but for fans who were able to buy tickets in the upper balconies at the larger venue. No word on whether any tickets would be sold to the general public for the Beacon.
-
Hmm...possibly no tickets for the general public. Would that mean no whooping and hollering because there would be no fans in the upper balconies? That probably wouldn't be a bad thing.
;)
-
Once again Time Warner is down. If I call they'll just tell me to unplug and replug and it won't make any difference. So boring
-
I had quite a time getting online tonight.
-
Just watched the new comedy with James Brolin. Can't remember the name. Anybody else watch it? I didn't really care for it. Please don't tell Mrs. Brolin.
-
Well, it's time and I'm now off to rehearsal. Tonight, we're going to run the whole show. We open a week from this Friday, so I think it's all in pretty good shape, for the most part.
Until later!
-
The river is looking exceptionally lovely tonight.
-
James Brolin and comedy = oxymoron. Who thought that was a good idea? And what is it exactly?
-
Finished with my viewing.
-
May go out and get something sweet.
Well, I was wrong about running the show.
-
We're re-staging some and running the rest of the scene changes and transitions.
-
At this point, I don't think that I really need to be here, but I'll stick around unless (or until) they tell me to leave.
-
I think that's my diet.
-
The dance instructor who leads the group classes and the woman who teaches me got into a fight tonight. Not pretty.
-
So, I'm actually home with enough time to watch a bad movie, in this case "Single Furnished Room" with Jayne Mansfield.
-
And I'll try not to do any work.
-
The dance instructor who leads the group classes and the woman who teaches me got into a fight tonight. Not pretty.
Yikes! :-\ Hopefully, you didn't get caught in the middle!
-
DR cillaliz, how many apple trees do you have? Will you plant more?
I have 1/2 of an apple tree left. I don't know what killed the tree and 1/2 the other tree but there were a lot of bugs in the wood, don't know if they came before or after the tree died. Not sure if I'll plant more. I did get permission to pick apples from a tree down the street that is loaded. I got a bag full of them last night.
Of course, I did.
I'm glad with vacation coming up that I don't have any more of those group classes until after I get back. Hopefully things will blow over by then.
Yes, but. This tree was uprooted in a storm once and I just pushed it back in the ground. Then the deer peeled the bark nearly all the way around (which would kill it if they got it all the way around) and 1/2 of this one died years ago. It's almost been hit by the guy cleaning my neighbors driveway and .....well other than the one really great year, it hasn't given me many apples...so I will miss it and wished it well, but it's kind of been doomed from the start
-
I missed my chance tonight to buy a ticket for the $235 million Powerball drawing. I hope one of you won it for me.
I'll say thank you in advance.
:)
Elmore, today was our last planned day at Universal/islands of Adventure tomorrow we visit the Magic Kingdom
-
I have a surprise for the Vixter I was able to snack coveted reservations for breakfast at the Be our guest restaurant ( the new Beauty and the beast castle)
-
And not only that, but I was also able to get dinner reservations at the same restaurant
-
disneydiningbuddy.com was well worth the $8 fee
-
We had another perfect day longest wait for any ride was 15 minutes
-
And surprisingly for this time of the year we have not had afternoon thunder storms since Saturday
-
While visiting Harry Potter land again we went to the wand shop for the 10 minute show where someone is fitted for a wand.
-
And surprisingly for this time of the year we have not had afternoon thunder storms since Saturday
That is good news. Glad you're having such fun on your trip.
-
Much to the delight of both of us The Vixter was selected as the audience participant
-
I'm headed for bed.
-
Well I must be up bright and early ... Don't want to b late for our reservations
-
Goodnight all
-
I have a surprise for the Vixter I was able to snack coveted reservations for breakfast at the Be our guest restaurant ( the new Beauty and the beast castle)
That's incredible!
Friends of mine who go down there quite a lot have yet to succeed at that.
-
And not only that, but I was also able to get dinner reservations at the same restaurant
Unbelievable.
I'm sending that URL to them right now.
-
That's really cool! Enjoy your meals!
-
Went to Gelson's and got some shrimp cocktail shrimp and a bit of seafood salad for my evening snack. No sweets.
-
James Brolin and comedy = oxymoron. Who thought that was a good idea? And what is it exactly?
Lol. We watched the preview and did not record the show.
-
The dance instructor who leads the group classes and the woman who teaches me got into a fight tonight. Not pretty.
Oh no.
-
Vixmom it makes me happy that you are having such a fun vacation.
-
And now, we can leave.
-
Time to go home...until later.
-
What is this page five malarky?
-
That posted so fast that I got an error message saying the empty message box was empty even though it had posted and I wasn't typing anything else.
-
I'm home. On my desktop computer, which still has XP.
-
For the last couple of days, however, I haven't been able to open my Firefox browser.
-
I keep getting an error message every time I try to open it: "Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts."
-
I've been using Firefox for several years now, and I really prefer it over IE.
-
Right now, I'm using Chrome, which is okay, but it's not my favorite, either. :P
-
I just installed Opera, and just looking around that for a few minutes, I REALLY don't like that.
-
And now, since we're so close...
