Well, you've read the notes, the notes had writing, writing, and more writing, and now it is time for you to post until the writing cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SYBARITIC!
-
The first posting following the two earlier posts by BK!
-
No George this evening? I hope he is okay.
-
Thanks so much for your post last night, TCB!
-
Good morning. The Good news is my molar doesn't hurt yet
-
Good morning, all! Last night I had a nightmare about a ghost puling the bedclothes off my bed. The bedroom in my dreams was not one that I recognize in any time of my life. Al I remember of the dream now is getting over my fear of this spectre and fighting with it for the sheet and bankets before I began yelling something like "Get out of here! Go away. Bother someone else.
And it did.
-
I have to see if the dentist can fit me in tomorrow morning. Of course today is ridiculously busy at work

This morning, I will meet my friend Dominic McHugh at City Center. I finished the last round of work for Tuesday's orchestra reading, and I'll see if Joshie has any more for me iver the weekend.
-
I wonder what it means that I have no recollection of dreams most days
I had a lot of dreams last night. that was the first I remember. I know there was one about Ireland, but that one is quite vague now.

Good news on the Kritzerland project approvals, bk. Can't wait to be enjoying the fruits of all your labors.
-
I forgot to mention the other day that my copy of the Welcome to My World script arrived from Amazon the other day. I bought it there before I realized that signed copies would be coming from Kritzerland.
In any case, it really does look quite wonderful, and I look forward to reading it to get the context of the songs from the album. I really hope that the self-licensing thing works out great for you in the long run.
-

Thanks, singdaw!

Here's an interesting quotation from David Patrick Stearns's review of the New Year's Eve debut of a new production at the Metropolitan Opera of Bizet's The Pearl Fishers:
The chatter-prone audience became blessedly silent when Kwiecien came inside from the storm scene and shed his wet shirt. For that reason alone, he should've kept it off.

Morning, all!

I enjoyed the British original very much. Not so much the American re-make. Season two coming soon!

It's an ordeal.
-
good morning all

if i have time i will watch two CBC productions from the mid 80's of Stratford productions of The Mikado which went onto Broadway and The Boys From Syracuse which features Eric McCormick (Will & Grace) in a small role.
I also started watching the making of The Boys From Syracuse from a Northwestern University production.

Good morning! Off from work today-the last day for "use or lose" vacation days.
-
Sandy Bainum and Sally Struthers were on "Great Day Washington" promoting Mame. They were both great and Sally was hilarious. I'm seeing Mame again tomorrow night with friends.

Friday morning greetings from Dayton International Airport! Richard dropped me off and will probably be home before I board my plane. First stop: Philadelphia!
-
Good morning, all.
A late one from me this morning, thanks to a very late midnight oil burning last night.
-
BK, those CD projects sound wonderful!
-
Congratulations to FJL on the most amazing, and well deserved, shout-out!
-
Al I remember of the dream now is getting over my fear of this spectre and fighting with it for the sheet and bankets before I began yelling something like "Get out of here! Go away. Bother someone else.
Thank you for not mentioning anyone in particular.
At the very least, for not giving any of these spectres my address or GPS coordinates.
-
Thanks so much, Chas!
-
Good morning, all.
Travel vibes for Ginny.
-
TOD:
I don't know if I'll have any time for a movie this weekend, but if I'm in the car, I'll be listening to Elvis Costello read his autobiography, "Unfaithful Music and Disappearing Ink." I'm only on disc two, but I am hooked.
-
I'm up after six hours of sleep, thanks to a robo-call from a company that has successfully been fined ten million dollars and forced to pay people in a class action lawsuit three million dollars. And yet they continue. I may report them.
-
Home from City Center. I had a loverly visit with Dominic ad Joshie, and my day is free. The Act one finale came in, so I will be at City Center tomorrow and/or Sunday to proofread it. We spend Monday getting the scores and parts ready for Tuesday's orchestra reading.
-
Travel vibes for Ginny!
-
Great news on the miracles, BK.
-
And continued vibes for Ron Pulliam.
-
Thanks DR TCB. Once I recover from jetlag I need to book a hotel in Tacoma :)
-
Good morning. The Good news is my molar doesn't hurt yet
That's good. Vibes the replacement isn't too expensive.
-
I wonder what it means that I have no recollection of dreams most days
If your dreams are anything like mine, you are lucky.
-
I would like to know why a little box is popping up on my screen every time someone comments on my facebook page. I really need that gone.
-
Our luggage is still missing :(

Our luggage is still missing :(
Maybe it wasn't ready for the vacation to end.

If it stayed at the falls instead of the little airport-lol
-
Good Morning!
-
I can't believe it's Friday. I'm thankful, but still can't believe it
-
Last night I had a dream where I was put in my place by a nun whom I used to work with (and in the dream) worked for a salami delivery place on a seven year contract.
Yes, boys and girls, you can't make these things up.
In the dream I remember saying - I have to get out of this dream, so I woke up. I turned to the DD (who had commandeered the top of my pillow) and said "Man, Benny, I had to get out of that dream".
Seriously, can't make these things up!
-
No George this evening? I hope he is okay.
I was, and am. Just zonked out early. :)
-
Good news on the Kritzerland project approvals, bk. Can't wait to be enjoying the fruits of all your labors.
Ditto and Ditto! A new cast album! Hoo and Ray!! :D
-
I wonder what it means that I have no recollection of dreams most days
I rarely remember my dreams...or even wake up knowing that I even had a dream.

My left leg does not want to work today. Is it the weather?
If I were a horse, I'd be dog food.

I came to report our update, according to an email it may have been found. We still don't have a tracking number or a location.

Hoo and ray!
-
I'm filling the time at least half watching the first episode of Downton Abbey.
-
It's helps to have my boss doing the same.
-
Went back to bed and slept for ninety minutes. Then joined little Hadley Miller and her dad for lunch. Just prior to that I got a little futzing and finessing done and I shall now finish that and mush on with the new pages. Had a little miracle this morning, so that was good.
-
Great news about the luggage, Jane!

Thanks. We will relax a bit more when they said it is in the air.
-
Great news about the luggage, Jane!
Thanks.
Please keep those vibes coming though as we don't have a delivery date yet.
-
Moving very slowly today, writing-wise. I'm in a fun part, but it's just slow going. Futzing and finessing took quite a bit of time due to that large page count yesterday. I've done three new pages since I finished futzing and finessing and will try to do another three right now, then take a break, relax, and then try to do another six to eight pages after that.
-
If I were a horse, I'd be dog food.
Sounds like a very down version of "If I were a bell i'd be ringing."
-
The luggage will be delivered by 7:00PM today :) :) :) :)
-
American Airlines sent us an email with a photo of the driver, and her car, who will be making the delivery. It also says "track your driver" only nothing is there.
-
Seven pages so far. Break time, then will do at least five to seven more and hopefully finish the chapter I'm on.
-
Page three? Really?
-
I had chicken tenders for lunch. I believe I'm in need of a sweet.
-
In order to have a sweet, however, requires a trip to the convenience store.
-
Therefore, I shall now be on my way to the convenience store where I will conveniently buy a sweet of some sort.

More or less sound, DR Jane. I'm pretty tired after traveling all day and making a connection in Philadelphia that required riding a shuttle from terminal F to terminal C then walking to terminal B. Have to do the same thing in reverse on Tuesday.
I won't be up late tonight...
-
Good evening.
TOD: I didn't watch anything on a screen today, but I spent several hours tramping around outside in search of birds. Found several nice ones.
-
the first two episodes of Broadchurch, which I liked very much.

Vixdad and I quite enjoyed Broadchurch.... I didn't know there was an Anerican version, and knowing the ere is e I still have no desire to seek it out
-
Good evening. I don't know much of anything

If you can remedy fat, you won't need a lottery ticket you'd make a billion without it :)
-
I bought a couple. I figure it can't hurt
-
I am going to,sleep
-
No doubt my ipadvwill continue to post all on its own as it already says whatever the heck it wants
-
It's going to be VERY cold here this weekend. And since we got almost 4inches of VERY wet snow today. I'm assuming everything will be ice. Oh Joy I'm planning to stay home as much as possible
-
I love the things your ipad says
-

I've been doing a lot of geneology on Ancestry. I spent a lot of time tracing the family the old fashioned way it's pretty crazy to see it all there just by clicking. Luckily I know enough to know which hints are wrong
-
Watching House Hunters
-
my neighbor's house sold. Someone with an IT firm in Seattle. The wife grew up here. It sounds like they are keeping the house in Seattle and will only be here part of the time. My neighbor showed me the name but it didn't mean anything to me. I'll be anxious to meet them
-
They aren't coming to the closing, so who knows when there will be someone in the house
-
The interesting thing is, when Sue left, I could feel the difference. She had been sitting in her room mourning for so long and then all the turmoil with her son....it just felt like a dark cloud was gone when she left. She found a place to move that's close to her daughter. They are all happy about that
-
She didn't want to move in the snow.....well she moved in the snow
-
Not sure what else I've been doing. Just getting used to being back to work
-
Thanks DR TCB. Once I recover from jetlag I need to book a hotel in Tacoma :)
Yes, isn't that a nice short flight from South America?
-
Contini, I want a musical ...
I have been listening to Nine off and on for the last few days. I love this score and the story. It was the second show I saw on Broadway, and I probably should have had it on my list yesterday as one of those life changers.
-
Jane, I'm glad you got your luggage back.
-
Long night of dancing and other oddities. Where it went, I don't know.
-
I received an offer today to do freelance for the newspaper I used to work for. I had stopped doing that because I started up my website, and they gave me an ultimatum: either the website or the freelance. The website is still there. I asked the person if something had changed in policy that suddenly makes it OK. I'll have to wait and see.
I could certainly use a few coins of spare change.
-
I doubt anyone is going to win me that $800 million lottery. Even though I did ask nicely.
-
Hi, Cilla! Hi, John!
-
Hi, Cilla! Hi, John!
Damn! Should have been two posts. Oh wait, now it is!
-
I had a nice birthday lunch today with my friend, Sharry. Her birthday, not mine.
-
Have you noticed lately, that people won't go to places to eat until they have checked the comments on line?
-
Even to places they have gone before, and liked.
-
Sharry went thru a couple of restaurants before she found a place she that she wanted to go.
-
The other candidates are places that we have eaten at regularly.

You have a website?

Personally, I don't always think that the comments on Yelp are always accurate.

We can share
-
Goodnight
-
I have seen several comments that seemed to only have been posted to ruin a business.
-
One more post.
-
Six!!
-
Now I have driven Cilla away!
-
And now Vixmom!
-
Now John is gone, also!
-
Maybe I can drive myself away!
-
On my thirteenth page and will finish that one in a little while and if I'm feeling up to it may try to do two more, but I'm not going to worry about it if I don't, but doing two more would finish this chapter.
-
Good news, DR Jane!
Thank you. Every thing appears to be inside. I still have a bit to unpack.

I don't remember a shuttle at the Philly airport. I do recall long walks and incredible potato chip cookies.

Yes, isn't that a nice short flight from South America?
I prefer a shorter drive from home.
-
For some reason the trip to San Juan had a special and we flew business class. We wish the special had been for the long return flight home instead. The flights out were rather comfortable.
-
DR John, thank you.
Good vibes it works out with the extra work at the paper.

Started my second piano ensemble piece today. It's an 8-hander called "Champagne Toccata" - it's quite lovely. Should be done soon, I would suspect.
