George, I am also pleased you enjoyed your evening.
My Mom just called. My dad passed in his sleep last night. And they're snowed in and I am 2000 miles away

Here is a photo of me taken from the one-man show, WRECKS.(http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u271/actr2000/WRECKS1_zpsngjjcwky.jpg)
Vixdad found a local ELCA church right down the road and we will be going there shortly
It was actually a very easy trek to City Center. The weather was quite cold, but my building's super and his snow blower had the sidewalk in excellent shape. The 104 bus ride went well, and it took me - with the little traffic as such - around 15 minutes to get there. I was willing to stay once I finished my proofreading but Joshie said he was in great shape and to get out. So I did.
The bus ride home wasn't bad, but the weather has warmed up and slush is deep and slippery. Still, I'm home in once piece and pondering dinner.
There's this PBS cooking show new to me, "The Jazzy Vegetarian": I want her dead. The recipes seem good but her cutesy-poo aren't-I-hep peppiness makes me want to drown her in her hummus.

Headache-begone vibes to DR Jane.
Just when I thought I had the sleep problem solved I learn that it's not quite so easy. I AM sleeping better than I used to and for that I'm grateful. I'm just not sleeping as much--or as well--as I need to.
Jane, I'm sorry about your headache. I had one yesterday that was practically blinding. And I had to dance for four more hours. It was not pretty. And the dancing certainly could have been better.

I feel worse for you John. Mine wasn't blinding and was home, not out dancing though that might have helped it. I get mild migraines and am always grateful they are only mild. I know when it is a migraine as I am also a tad nauseated.
Glad you are feeling a bit better, DRs John G. and Jane!
Great photos, singdaw. And it sounds like an exciting event!
THis is great! It's from yesterday's snow before the traffic was closed down:

It looks like a fun way to enjoy the day.
Oh my, slow day!
