Well, you've read the notes, the notes whispered and were both sweet and nothing, and now it is time for you to post until the whispering cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: AMATIVE!
-
First post after BK!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I remember one dream about Jason Graae and a party after one of his shows, but that's about it. I slept well and with the window closed, I slept quite warmly.
-
Today is the 9th anniversary of my dad's death. I remember how grateful to HHW I as then because posting the events of the week, from arrival to deathwatch to burial kept my thinking clearl and focused. I've been trolling through the HHW archives and pulling things I posted between 2006, when the cancer was discovered to the closing of the estate in November 2007. Thank you, all, for your support then.
-
Today is also my Big Date with my accountant. I need to know how much I owe or do not owe before April 15th so I can collect the funds. I'm hoping I owe nothing, but you never know.
-
I'll leave around 9:00 for the bus. My accountant's office is next door to Toyland and this will be my first appearance there since i locked the doors in June.
-
I believe that's my news for now.
-
More coffee!
-
(((((Hugs))))) for Elmore and vibes for comfort
-
And additional,vibes for good news from the accountant
-
I must go to work today
-
Vixdad does not

Have a wonderful day, DR vixmom!
-
Where the fat hell is everyone this morning?
-
Good morning, all.
-
We're on a bit of a snow watch for this afternoon (no more than an inch), then whatever's coming down is supposed to transition to sleet or ice and finally to rain by tomorrow morning. It's supposed to reach 52 by tomorrow, which is quite the contrast to the negative numbers we've been in for the past couple of days.
-
VIBES for DR Elmore!!!
-
Today and tomorrow will be spent slaving over a hot keyboard, then I'm into another short run of a show and only my evenings will be tied up for the next three weekends.
-
TOD:
I doubt if I've ever seen a film with Lorenzo Lamas.
If I have, I certainly don't remember it.
-
Good morning, all.
Happy Monday vibes.
-
I must go to work today
Office day here, too!
-
TOD:
A few that come to mind:
Night of the Comet
Year of the Comet
Grease 2
Wild Things

From Dusk Til Dawn
Only You

DR VIXMOM you might "watch" this one just in case.

Monday morning greetings! We have quite a winter wonderland outside and I'm planning to stay in today. Still not feeling great, but at least I was able to sleep better last night.

DR Elmore, you're in my thoughts today. I remember that week very well - Richard was in Wisconsin and the weather here was awful.
-
Good morning all:
Happy President's Day!!!

TOD:
Weekend At Bernies
Mommie Dearest

BROADWAY ACTRESS QUOTE:

Any Guesses DR"S????

Disposed to love, Amorous!

I must go to work today
Office day here, too!
Working, too.

Vibes for Elmore.

Thank ypou all for the vibes! I am home from my accountant's office. It was strange seeing that Toyland is now an office with a different purpose and business. My accountant's staff says the occupants are quiet and never seen.
And I'm getting around $3600 back. That should take care of new glasses and a new CD player, so I'm rather happy.
-
Very good DR ELMORE....and they seem to be quicker this year with the refunds! Congratulations!
-
Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co.
-
good afternoon

vibes for Larry

Good Morning
-
I have nothing to report
-
And I can't comment on the TOD, because I'm just not that good.
-
I'm heading over the hill to Santa Cruz today to do a little memorial for the friend that passed away a few weeks ago. It will be quick and quiet, and then that door will be closed. It's a complicated situation as we are "ex's" and I was deemed the "bad guy" - I'm over that, of course, but I don't think others would be. So, instead of going to the official reception, I feel this will be the best send off.

VIBES DR MATTHEW!!!

VIBES DR MATTHEW!!!

I'm up, I'm up. Have no idea how much sleep. Phone rang at eight - the publisher, asking for things I'm not going to provide - every year there's something new added to the pile and when I had my initial discussion I told them I wanted to hear nothing like that this year and I was told I wouldn't. It should all be fine now.
-
Facebook can come in handy when you see a conversation with your friend and another person, making plans to get together on the same day you already have plans with your friend ;D

TOD:
I doubt if I've ever seen a film with Lorenzo Lamas.
If I have, I certainly don't remember it.
He was dyed blond in the original "Grease"-- right? If that is the case, I guess I have seen a Lorenzo Lamas movie. I'm surprised to hear he made more than one.

Of course, I've seen the original GREASE, but I don't recall Lorenzo in it.
-
Rented THE MARTIAN from Redbox for viewing tonight.
-
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
-
I did not notice a response to my question regarding "45 Years". I keep thinking about the movie, which is a shame since I could have done without seeing it-lol

I want to see Charlotte Rampling, but I haven't seen it yet.
-
Three!
-
Just confirmed on imdb.com that there is one more episode of Downton Abbey plus the Christmas episode, which is the series finale.
-
Vibes for DR MATTHEW
-
Like MR BK -- sometimes you just have to set things straight.......
Juan Martinez the prosecutor in the Jodi Arias case is on DR PHIL today.
-
33 degrees and the snow is melting.....which is a good thing.
-
Singers have their music - still one song to choose and a guest star to set - I've asked someone and we'll see if he's available.
-
Hopefully, this is the last year I will ever have to deal with The Man From Philadelphia. Oy!
-
He continues to aggravate.
-
Aggravate is a perfectly good word to describe too much of today. 30 more minutes.
-
Anybody watching the Grammys?

Anybody watching the Grammys?
Not me. I'm on to Season 5 of Inspector Lynley.

I'll be dancing, but I still want to see the clip from Hamilton, which I guess I'll find on YouTube later.
-
DR John G. I will be watching the Grammys!!!
-
I think I'll watch the beginning of the Grammys since, if I'm not mistaken, the Hamilton cast is supposed to open the show. After that I'll record it and skip through it later in case someone I've heard of performs.
-
We got a few inches of snow. Tonight there's supposed to be sleet. Then rain. It's going to be in the forties tomorrow.
-
TOD: Grease is the only one I know of. I looked up his filmography and was amazed at the number of movies he's been in.
-
Page 3? You'd think it was a holiday or something!
-
The official federal holiday is still George Washington's Birthday. I'm not sure how it got to be called Presidents Day.
-

Great news about your refund, DR elmore!

I see I did another great job of "quoting!"

Both she and Tom Courtenay were, as expected, gave excellent performances.

I've been watching and wondering if schools will be closed tomorrow.
-
Just confirmed on imdb.com that there is one more episode of Downton Abbey plus the Christmas episode, which is the series finale.
Are you responding to my comment from last night regarding the Christmas special ;)
-
I think I will watch The Judy Garland Show on GET TV, although sometimes it is painful to see.
-
Followed by a Bing Crosby special and Merv Griffin.
-
Thanks for the reminder, DR Jrand65! I just turned to Judy Garland since Taylor Swift is on the Grammys and I really don't have any interest.
-
We now have a "Dense Fog Advisory" in our county.
-
FOUR!!

~~~Vibes of Comfort!!~~~
Anybody watching the Grammys?
I'm recording it, but not watching it, yet.
-
Season 5 of Lynley had a great opening episode and some very funny moments.
I'm going to read a bit and go to bed. I hope my X-ray referral arrives tomorrow and that I can get the X-ray on Wednesday. Joshie has asked me to come to City Center on Wednesday to begin work on 1776 and if i can book the X-ray first thing, it would make my day so much easier.
-
While my walk with Salty was lovely it had a bit of bad luck. First I lost a crown. Thank goodness we have a dentist. With luck I will get in to see him tomorrow.
When it got dark I put my clip-on for my sunglasses in my pocket and it fell out. I think I have a very scratched up extra ones in a drawers. These are magnetic to fit the glass frame.
-
Page four? Really?
-
Rehearsal was fun - the gals are great, and I figured out where we'll stand and sit and that stuff and everyone is clear.
-
Then I had a patty melt and a few onion rings.
-
Book will be live for preorder at some point this evening.
-
Thanks for the vibes everyone. Today was lovelier than lovely with my two best girl friends. We memorialized and let our balloons go into the air and said our last goodbyes. Then we did a little shopping and headed home.
-
I'm glad it was a good day.
-
We now have a "Dense Fog Advisory" in our county.
I think I have one in my head.
-
Watching a fun production of Pirandello's Rules of the Game with John McMartin, Joan van Ark and David Dukes. Glenn Close and Charles Kimbrough are in the supporting cast.
-
Good evening!
-
Very good DR ELMORE....and they seem to be quicker this year with the refunds! Congratulations!
Not for me. I filed on 1/30, and I am still waiting.
-
Great news, elmore, on your refund.
-
How are you, TCB?
-
And yes, elmore, I am still watching GRIMM. I still enjoy it. I still really enjoy David Giuntoli, and I enjoy Monroe and Rosalee.
-
I have no idea when I can get started on my taxes. I'm waiting for the accountant to do the taxes on the web site.
-
Another great story on your post, DR Laura.
-
I'm fading fast, sir. You'll have to take us to page five and beyond.
-
Good night, all.
-
Good, John, how are you doing?
-
I'm fading fast, sir. You'll have to take us to page five and beyond.
ME?
-
I think John needs to stop dancing, it wears him out.
-
I thought exercise gave you more energy.
-
I guess not at 11:30 pm.
-
If I went dancing, I would be very tired!
-
One more post.
-
Five!!
-
I have no idea when I can get started on my taxes. I'm waiting for the accountant to do the taxes on the web site.
I'm just starting doing my taxes right now.
-
When I first started working for the state, we had two holidays in February. We got Lincoln's birthday off, and we got Washington's birthday off.
-
By the way, Kevin, Washington's birthday is February 22.
-
We dropped both Presidents' birthdays, and added back President's Day.
-
The other day off we added was, I think, the day after Thanksgiving.
-
Or maybe it was Martin Luther King's birthday.
-
I know we didn't lose a day off. The union would never have allowed that.
-
I spent the day off as if I was still employed. I vegged out!
-
Including a two hour nap for both Nicky and me.
-
It would have been a longer nap, but Nicky got hungry.
-
And leftover pizza for dinner.
-
I think I may take myself out to lunch tomorrow.
-
Maybe to Red Lobster....
-
Or maybe Applebee's.
-
I am a cheap date.
-
And, oh yes, I do have a favorite Lorenzo Lamas movie.
-
It was called TAKE DOWN. It starred Mr. Lamas, Edward Herrmann, Maureen McCormick (of Brady Bunch fame), and Stephen Furst.
-
It wasn't a very original story, but I loved the movie.
-
I think it was made around 1978.
-
I also enjoyed GREASE.
-
FYI: I'm still working on my income tax return.
-
Just had to share.
:)
-
I blame Jack's giant refund for delaying my return.
-
I have finished my tax return, and it was sent.
-
Now, I have to wait to see if it's actually accepted.
-
Where is everyone tonight?
-
I have finished my tax return, and it was sent.
Did you do your taxes by yourself, or did you use one of the computer programs?
-
I have seen some people sign in and then sign off again without even posting.
-
One more post!
-
SIX!
-
Welcome 7 Guests!
-
Wow! 6 Guests left when I said "Welcome."
-
Now #7 has left.
-
Finished with my viewing. Book is live now, but I'll have the details in the notes, unless anyone is feeling adventurous and wants to order it right this very minute. There will, of course, be the usual surprise things that come with it.
-
I checked it out at Kritzerland, but I'll wait for the notes.
-
I have finished my tax return, and it was sent.
Did you do your taxes by yourself, or did you use one of the computer programs?
By myself at www.freefilefillableforms.com. I just filled in all the information into the on-line forms and sent it off. It was pretty simple. No paper, no mailing, and direct deposit, so a check can't get lost, either.
-
I have one friend who still gets paper checks for everything.
-
I have one friend who still gets paper checks for everything.
A few years ago, everyone was supposed to switch to getting paid by direct deposit, but there were evidently a few holdouts. I found out that there were four people in the entire library district that were still getting paper checks...and three, count 'em, THREE of them were at the Service Center where I work!
