Well, you've read the notes, the notes were at 117%, and now it is time for you to post until the 117% cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PINNATE!
-
First post after BK!
-
Hi Tom.
-
Hi Jane.
-
'night Tom.
-
Are you having trouble sleeping?
-
Well, this is pretty cool! My friend Jacqui is featured in this "Evening Magazine" segment about Burial Grounds, a sort of goth coffee shop here in Olympia:
Olympia's Burial Grounds serves up goth coffee (http://www.king5.com/videos/entertainment/television/programs/evening/2016/03/10/olympias-burial-grounds-serves-up-goth-coffee/81591428/)
And my friends pug, Rocko, and Brian are in the background! ;D
-
Good night, everybody!
-
Good night, Tom! I'm off, too.
-
The March 15th business tax deadline approaches, only a few days away.
Then it's time to relax for a week, and then get ready for the April 15th individual tax deadline!
-
Friday morning greetings! It appears that I've been logged in here since who-knows when - sorry.
Yesterday was a very long day and I was quite tired when I got home about 9pm. I got to the symposium in time for lunch and all the afternoon sessions, including the grand finale. The speaker was Judy Smith, whose life is fictionalized into the TV series SCANDAL. She was quite entertaining and now I want to watch the series.
-
Katie and I decided that if we went home neither of us would feel like going back out for our current events discussion, so we stopped for dinner and went directly to the public library. It was so nice to catch up and compare notes on the coughs we both have.
-
So, this morning I'm off to the southern Dayton 'burbs for coffee with my successor's successor at Dayton Metro Library. She has sounded quite overwhelmed in the emails we've exchanged. I'd had the benefit of working alongside my predecessor for several years and I got to spend a week with my replacement. Susan has walked in cold to a very chaotic environment.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept well and I have no memories now of any dreams.
-
More congratulations on the Indiego success and good vibes for the new show!
-
Today I will see our DR ChasSmith at the orchestra reading of 1776. I look forward to the rehearsal. When I spoke to Joshie yesterday, he was feeling a bit of stress on wrapping things up yesterday.
-
BK, I have been meaning to ask: are these perks you've been offering personal items you own or were they items that were donated to the drive?
-
Congrats to BK in reaching his funding goal!
-
Several years ago, I discovered that some company I had used once - cannot remember what it was now - had been deducting a monthly charge for over a year. I check my statement online every day now.
-
Congratulations, BK, on your successful campaign!
-
TOD:
I don't know if I will be watching much of anything this weekend.
BearManor Media is coming out with an updated edition of my first book, PAUL MUNI: His Life and His Films. I received the final proofs yesterday and I'll probably be checking them all weekend.
After that, assuming they arrive today or tomorrow, I'll be correcting the proofs for 2 new plays in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS collection.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I am 117% on my way to 1776, and am greatly looking forward to it!
-
I think this will be a most interesting orchestra rehearsal.
Not that they all aren't. But, you know.
-
Congratulations, BK!
-
On the train, coming up to Cannondale CT.
-
And that's the truth. Ruth.

I'll be having River City next month.
-
Congrats to MR BK on the successful Indigogo Campaign! He made it happen. It's best not to start one and then just WAIT to see what happens....as so many do.
-
DR GEORGE certainly had a profitable trip to Fred Meyer last night! That was great!!! And it's good you had a cashier who understood what to do!!!
-
Vibes for DR VIXMOM and the forms......
-
DR ELMORE - is your 1776 done with an intermission?
-
Good morning, all.

The rains have stopped for a little while, but more thunderstorms are looming. Or so I'm told. And I believe all weather forecasts.

Friday morning greetings! It appears that I've been logged in here since who-knows when - sorry.
You weren't logged in when I stopped by last night.
-
DR TCB, yes to your question last night. I was still awake at 2:00.
-

She is lucky to have you available to assist. Vibes for her.

A very happy, yet very drenched, Friday to all of you.
El Nino has roosted over the Bay Area...and will continue through Monday.

MARY DID YOU KNOW ( It is such a beautiful song about Baby Jesus and The Blessed Mother)
-
Congratulations to BK on reaching his goals!!!
-
Precious has gone to the groomer. She always gets nervous in the car, but once we get there and she realizes the destination, she is better.....
-
And it must have been Shitzu Friday.....one was going out and two more were going in.
-

Better at the groomer, guess she likes to be groomed :)

I saw a Awesome picture of Brother Kevin and Brent Barrett in Germany on Kevin's Facebook Page!!!
-
DR Kate, do you know how to post the photo here?
-
I'm up, I'm up - maybe almost eight hours.
-
Many of the items were personal items that I donated to the cause. Of any of the items left, I'll entertain offers.
-

We had a nice get-acquainted visit. She's not as overwhelmed as she sounded in her emails.
-
DR Jane,
Unfortunately I do not know how to post the picture of DR Kevin And Brent on
Facebook!!!
-

TOD:
I just received a Blu-ray review copy of CAROL, so I guess I'll find time to watch that this weekend.
-
TOD - Richard received 2 DVDs from Netflix yesterday and decided one of them was for me - IT'S COMPLICATED, with Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin.
-
Congrats on doing so well. I'm looking forward to getting my perk
Ditto and ditto! ;D

That's a great picture! I got to see Brent Barrett in "Kiss Me, Kate!" in London in 2001, but I didn't get to meet him.

Was he basing that on the title or the cast?
-
Saw Brent Barrett in Grand Hotel and later in Busker Alley, which I went to twice. The show had been rewritten so much over the two weeks that his part was almost entirely eliminated.
-
Nice photo!!!!
-
Precious is back with a haircut and bows!!!!

Back from a cup of soup and a sandwich. Got three charts to proof and did so - so we'll do those fixes at some point, hopefully later today or tomorrow.
-
Having some nice rain - not wussy rain either.
-
Looks like someone is going to take the signed Sondheim note at the asking price, and that puts us right under the 15K.
-
That means we clear about 13,600.
-
Great news, BK.
-
Sweet little Precious photo.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
Thanks DR JOHN G - she is still recovering......
Great news from MR BK!!!

It worked very well. Thanks Ginny.

Precious looks pretty, and tired, after her big outing today.
-
Congratulations Bruce!

That is why I hesitate to watch it, especially since I won't watch without Keith.
-
We had a lovely afternoon/lunch in Portland with a high school friend we haven't seen in close to 50 years. We worked at the Bruin Theater in Westwood with her.
-
We completely forgot to take photos-darn.
-
We expect to see her again since she lives about an hour away.
-
And I am home from a lovely dinner at Arties with DR ChasSmith. The rehearsal was a lot of fun but i am mentally fatigued and ready for bed.
I had an extra ticket for tomorrow's matinee of BRIGHT STAR, which I thought Joshie was going to use, but he can't. I then asked my friend, choreographer Randy Skinner, who turned me down since he's teaching. The next choice, Jeffrey Polsky, is occupied with visiting family, and Joshie's brother Jeremy, who's playing in the 1776 orchestra, turned me down this afternoon because he's in rehearsal.
-
Then, DR ChasSmith turned me down, and I was feeling like Typhoid Mary.
-
So, I asked Michael Gildin, who's Joshie's roommate and a former Encores! intern. He will see the show with me, and I'm exhausted.
-
DR JRand65, I learned today that the intermission for Encores! will happen after "Mama, Look Sharp."
-
Fantastic news about the campaign, BK!

:)
-
Well, I'm off to my parents' house for dinner, and card playing, I'm sure. My sister said that mom is making lasagna, but since my sister and niece are vegetarians, there probably won't be a separate meat lasagna for me and my dad (he doesn't like most vegetarian versions of foods with meat that he is used to)...but maybe there will be. I'll find out soon enough.
Until later!
-
Bruce, the friend we had lunch with today is also a FB friend of yours, Terri Lynn (Steinman). Were you friends with her at Hami?
-
So, I asked Michael Gildin, who's Joshie's roommate and a former Encores! intern. He will see the show with me, and I'm exhausted.
Thank God! :)
I hated to decline the invitation, but tomorrow evening's plans throw a wrench into it. Enjoy the show, DR Elmore!!
-
Don't remember Teri Lynn.
-
Netflix is retarded - going down all day (and some of yesterday) and of course on screen they ALWAYS say it's YOUR internet connection that's the problem - until you do a check - and then suddenly it's their servers.
-
Don't remember Teri Lynn.
You seem to have a number of "friends" you don't remember ;D
She graduated summer'66.
-
Friday!!!!
-
Friday night, to be exact. And I am now home from a very long but wonderful day.
-
With the second half of a wonderful pastrami sandwich from Artie's which will make a wonderful lunch tomorrow.
-
I would not have turned you down, Elmore. I really want to see Bright Star. I hear it's sweet, charming and winsome, which means it probably won't last.
-
Five!
-
An evening of dancing tonight that was fun. Saw plenty of old friends. It felt great.
-
Lately, there's been a lot of Sturm und Drang at the dance studio I go to most often, and I probably won't be going there much in the near future. Long-established friendships are being broken, and I don't like it. I'm also finding myself in the middle of some of the squabbles but I haven't been able to write the whole situation off yet.
-
I would rather watch some comedy and bliss out.
-
Finished House of Cards, went to Gelson's and did the salad bar thing and got some shrimp cocktail shrimp - no calories in any of it and yet I'm stuffed to the gills.
-
I think I'm headed for bed instead.
-
Good night, all.
-
Good evening!
-
Hello, 1 Guest! My name's TC, what's yours?
-
Another rainy day in the Northwet.
-
15 days in a row with measurable precipitation.
-
I have not heard back from Sandy since I texted him yesterday.
-

-
Hi DR TCB.
-
I don't want to be pushy. I know he has a lot to take care of.
-
I am not staying. I think I'll fall asleep if I read for a few minutes.
-
Sandy might need alittle time.
-
He has talked of moving to a smaller apartment, nearer to his son.
-
That migjt be a good idea. What do you think?
-
Tom, did you read my previous post? I asked because changed it.
-
I told him n the text that I was there if he needed anything, so I guess I should just sit down and shut-up.
-
'night
-
I told him n the text that I was there if he needed anything, so I guess I should just sit down and shut-up.
Sounds like a good plan, at least for now.
-
Hi, Jane!
-
That migjt be a good idea. What do you think?
Yes, I do think that is a good idea
-
Night, Jane!
-
Nicky is sleeping in my recliner tonight.
-
Lately, he has been staying in the living room until I fall asleep.
-
I guess I need to stop watching TV. It seems to be bothering him in the evening.
-
One more post.
-
Six.
-
They are saying we may have another wind storm on Sunday.
-
This one could have winds up to 70 mph.
-
It sounds like a lot of "ifs" have to take place.
-
Does anyone else, here, get the Vermont Country Store catalog?
-
They have an unusual assortment of items for sale.
-
They sell that Vermont maple syrup in the old-fashioned log cabin glass container. I haven't seen those in years.
-
They also sell chocolate Easter bunny ears. Just the ears!
