Well, you've read the notes, the notes took their revenge, and now it is time for you to post until the vengeful cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: EPISTEMIC!
-
First post after BK!
-
Second post after BK!

-
I had the last 3 posts ladt night.
-
Good mornining to all
-
Big Bob might be Big Bob Johnson's Fantastic Speed Circus about Three Stunt Car drivers who help people.
-
Clapper was about the misadventures of two secretaries at Clappers a fictional department store in Philadelphia
-
Coast to Coast the misadventures of a NY to LA arline on both coasts.
-
Good morning, all!
-
BK, can you scan one of those Day Runners? I would like to see what one looks like. You've got my curiosity up.
-
I was sorry to read about Larry Drake's death. I'm sure DR Charles Pogue is in a state and I know the pain.
-
I had a busy afternoon filled with tiny errands: printing labels and scheduling today's Fed Ex pickup,, setting up physical therapy for next week, some work on the BABES IN TOYLAND libretto, which needed revision and rethinking to accommodate all the appendix changes and revisions between June 1903 and January 1905.
I also spoke briefly to our DR vixmom about a possible 1776 date.
-
The orthopedist told me that I should ask Gurjeet, my physical therapist, to work on my left Rectus Femoris muscle, which seems to be the major issue. He also suspected there may be some bone deformation in my left thigh causing some of the situation. Still, as I reported, he thought I should try dealing with it first with meds and therapy before trying hip injections.
-
Making all of the BABES IN TOYLAND libretto fixes, once I figured out how best to deal with it, took me two long days. Wednesday was a trial and error of Act One and half of Act Two, and once I got the kinks figured out, things went more smoothly yesterday. The PHI office manager Matthew, who did the new libretto in 2005 or so, did a wonderful job, but my suggestion on how to treat the material that could be removed to insert Ammendix materials was clunky and really poor in retrospect. I'm much happier now with it.
-
So, today I am stuck here for two things: A UPS delivery and a Fed Ex pickup. Now that the Fed Ex cartons are out of the apartment and into the hall, I need to pick up stray styrofoam peanuts and vacuum. I think I will begin the second act Edit No. 4 of Gentlemen, Be Seated!
-
More coffee. Enough me.

TOD:
FLESH & BONE (Limited TV Series)
BROOKLYN
-
Last night I watched two episodes of Season One of the Canadian "Murdoch Mysteries," which has nine seasons! The jury is still out; I'm not sure i believe I'm back in 1890.

Vibes this new approach work and you don't need the hip injections!

I forgot that I have to see a detective named Gore about that debit card fraud at my local police precinct.
-
Friday morning greetings! Last night my book group gathered at Carolyn's to discuss Sharyn McCrumb's work, especially If Ever I Return, Pretty Peggy-O. Her Ballad Series is set in east Tennessee and might appeal to some readers here.
Today I'm having lunch with my friend Becky. I haven't seen her for more than a month, what with my coughing and all.
-
TOD - We've been watching March Madness. Michigan played into the tournament by beating Tulsa Wednesday evening, but I don't expect them to go very far. Tonight they face Notre Dame - Go, Blue!
My other viewing is SCANDAL, which I'm streaming on NetFlix. I hadn't watched it at all, but last week Judy Smith, the inspiration for Olivia Pope, was the keynote speaker at a conference I attended. I'm pretty engrossed, but wonder if it will become tiresome after a few seasons. I'm about to finish Season 2.
-
First post by ME today!
-
I echo Larry Moore's sentiments about Larry Drake.
I wish peace to his family and friends, and I'm mindful of former DR Charles Pogue being a friend of Drake's. Peace to you, Charles Pogue.
-
Good LATE morning, all.
Took the opportunity to get a little extra sleep this morning. I needed it.
-
Condolences to DR Charles Pogue.
-
Sorry to hear about Larry Drake, whose work we enjoyed on LA LAW. {{{Hugs}}} to DR Charles Pogue...
-
Well, I'm here to say that night's corned beef and cabbage meal was my personal best to date. I'm even happier to say there are leftovers. Especially of the corned beef -- which, if I wasn't careful, I could and would eat every day of my life. But for St. Pat's, I always deliberately buy and cook more than double the amount we'd ever eat in one evening. As with a good Thanksgiving feast, I insist upon there being plenty of leftovers. It's just part of the planning.
-
Wanting corned beef for dinner yesterday, Richard, Rob, and I went to Izzy's for dinner. Who knew that St. Patrick's Day is their busiest day of the year? Fortunately, we got there before the big dinner rush because I needed them to drop me off at Carolyn's for book group.
-
DRs Elmore and vixmom, please keep me in the loop as to your 1776 dates.
I'll be there Wednesday the 30th. Kristi and Nathan will be along (they're both 1776 fanatics). Because of both of their work schedules, I can't promise we'll be able to get down there in time for a pre-show meal, but we'll see.
This score is very special for me and I'd love to make a return later in the week. Whether I can swing that remains to be seen.

Friday!
Most interesting notes. Whatever happened to the ABC woman?
Nice weather here today. It is a bit cooler than it has been, but still nice. I am starting to work on LITTLE WOMEN THE MUSICAL.....so of course I am ready for auditions on April 3, 4.....so we shall see.
-
TOD:
Nothing specific in either CD or DVD/Blu Ray players. I have a VAST selection to listen to or watch, many of which remain in shrink wrap. My sometime-in-the-near-future retirement will be a voyage of discovery, apparently.

You did not say if it appeals to you.

Fed Ex has picked up the three cartons and gone. Now I wait for UPS.
I spoke to Joshie; he wants me to write a book on all the musical theatre production and orchestration trivia I know. I am seriously considering it, tentatively titled Letters to Joshie.

I am dressed in my old baggy, no metal on them, clothes for my bone density test. This new place is too nice for the way I am dressed ;Do

Good Morning all:
My condolences to you on the passing of your friend, DR Charles!!!
-
TOD;
MARY DID YOU KNOW!!!
This song is simply beautiful and inspirational!!!
-
The hubby and I watched THE JUDGE last night starring Robert Downey Jr and Robert Duvall.
I thought it was excellent. Great acting from them both and also the whole cast!!!
-
I'm up, I'm up - definitely got over eight hours of sleep.
-
ABC woman is still around. She didn't run the network, but she did if you know what i mean - she was head of all casting for ABC AND Paramount. Bad news for me, since I worked regularly for both. She couldn't stop the Laverne and Shirley episodes, but I had no shot at any pilot or series.
-
If I were in NYC, I'd make sure I saw She Loves Me (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/18/theater/review-she-loves-me-is-a-daydream-of-the-ordinary.html?smid=fb-share&_r=0) at Studio 54.

Interesting, MR BK.
DR RLP I am not auditioning, I am doing the choreography....then directing ON GOLDEN POND, and then be in 1776.
-
MR BK is that your house on the corner.....or is this after Annette moved to Encino?

I am off to the 82nd precinct. This moronic debit card fraud is being dragged on too long.
At least UPS delivered and Fed Ex took away, so I feel something's been accomplished.

Looks like it might be but with different windows - fireplaces are certainly in the right place.
-
Back from a patty melt and picking up the little external clip on speaker - works fine.

Home from precinct. Utter nonsense.

Tom, I just bought a ticket for tonight's performance of The Last Night of Ballyhoo (http://www.tacomalittletheatre.com/blog/2015/the-last-night-of-ballyhoo).
-
Becky and I had a good lunch and a nice long visit at Einstein Brothers Bagels in West Chester. My family was thrilled that I came home with a baker's dozen of bagels and 2 varieties of cream cheese.

I saw that on Broadway. My goddaughter's godmother Celia Weston was in it. Jessica Hecht, too, I think.

DR TCB, did you still want a recap of the finale of How to Get Away with Murder. I stopped watching it. But i came across this:
I posted a link but there are spoilers in it. I'm trying to figure out how to post the link using just a word. Anyhow it's on tvline. If you type "how to get away with murder in the search button it is the first article.
-
Page 2?
-
Page 3?
-
Condolences to DR Charles Pogue. I watched LA Law faithfully and remember Larry Drake very well.
-
I mean the actual link is similar to this spoilerwise "tvline.com/JillGotMurderedAtTheMovies". I don't get why they do that.
-
It's amazing how busy you were in the late 70's, BK. It's also amazing how busy you are in the 10's!
-
Page three? Really?
-
The 70s up through 1978 was incredibly busy even with the gray list, but you can see where I've never had weeks go by without appointments of some sort until that year.
-
Last night I watched two episodes of Season One of the Canadian "Murdoch Mysteries," which has nine seasons! The jury is still out; I'm not sure i believe I'm back in 1890.
My friend Bonnie and her husband David are addicted. They showed me two episodes. I found it okay.

Stuck in a thunderstorm outside Austin waiting for Willie Nelson and his minions to get the all-clear so this concert can take place.

Lightning and thunder.

Vibes for DR Charles Pogue.

About time!
-
DR TCB and DR George, have you been to Poulsbo? If so did you drive straight there or take a ferry?
-
Topic of the Day:
I just listened to the TV soundtrack to "Grease Live! (http://www.target.com/p/grease-live-on-fox-target-exclusive/-/A-50721396)" I bought the Target version with four exclusive bonus tracks. I liked it, but I think I would've preferred the actual broadcast soundtrack. Maybe I can make my own recording of the DVD that I made.
Now, I'm streaming the London cast recording of American Psycho (http://www.ew.com/article/2016/03/17/american-psycho-stream-full-london-cast-recording), starring Doctor Who's Matt Smith.
-
DR TCB and DR George, have you been to Poulsbo? If so did you drive straight there or take a ferry?
I've never been there. Sorry, I can't help. :-\
-
Apparently traffic is horrendous and so our little informal reading will be more like six-fifteen than five-thirty.
-

We know someone who lives there and it looks charming. Her aunt and uncle are coming here for a visit and deciding if have the time to go up there. It looks like a charming town.

I really wish Bryan had not given me a fitbit. I thought I had downloaded the app per the instructions, to my computer. The next step then tells me I need to have it plugged in to my computer first. I'm so confused and I don't understand much of what I'm being asked since I don't normally set anything up on my computer ;D
-
Of course the problem could simply be that I don't know where the app is hiding on my computer. But after I did the download it then asked me which windows I have. You would think it would ask me that first.
-
Finally, it is showing a little charge.
I googled fitbit for dummies.
-
I give up for now and will try again over the weekend. It still needs to charge.
-
Well, it's time for me to leave work and Tumwater, and head to Tacoma to see a play at Tacoma Little Theatre, where TCB has acted many times. He's not acting in this, but that's okay. I'm sure that it'll be a fine show, anyway. :)
Be back later.

I just watched another episode. I do not for one second believe I am in 1890. I have removed all other discs from my Netflix queue.

Chas and Larry I was hoping for Saturday matinee but there re mine but way back in the balcony seats Maybe Sunday matinee.
There are a few in the rear mezzanine where DR Ginny and her DH sat for "The Most Happy Fella", and I was just a row or two in front of them. I recall that being okay, but I highly recommend bringing opera glasses regardless.

Yes, those seats were fine, but opera glasses would have been nice.

We are flipping among 3 basketball games - Michigan's, Cincinnati's, and Xavier's. X is about to win, Michigan's at halftime, and Cincinnati's tied nearing the half. I love March Madness!

DR TCB and DR George, have you been to Poulsbo? If so did you drive straight there or take a ferry?
It is a great little town. I have always driven to it, but I think there is a ferry that goes from Poulsbo to, I think, Seattle.
-

Ginny, sorry about Michigan. I didn't see that ending coming.
-
This will take some work.
-
I wish I had known that George was coming to Tacoma, maybe we could have met early for a bite.
-
I guess not. He didn't leave work until 6:30, and the show started at 7:30.
-
I hope he enjoys the show as much as I did.
-
It taught me a lot about a part of Jewish history that I didn't know about.
-
It is really a great production.
-
Tacoma (and Lakewood) theater seems to be on a real high this year.
-
Both theaters have had success after success this season.
-
I'm sorry that Vixmom's work is getting crazy again.
-
Ron have you decided when you will retire?
-
I must admit that March Madness is the only time I ever follow college basketball.
-
I am following Gonzaga, but I don't think they will survive the next round.
-
One post more.
-
FIVE!!
-
Well, that looks a little better.
-
Not good, but better.
-
This entire political season is making me sick.
-
I am not talking about one party over the other. I think both sides are guilty of gutter politics.
-
I don't look forward to the general election in the fall.
-
British Columbia here I come.
-
Of course, Canada may build a wall to keep us out!
-
It was 66 degrees in Tacoma today.
-
I think we had the high temperature in Western Washington.
-
Unless Vancouver beat us, I didn't hear there temperature today.

That isn't a real lucky number, but I was bored.
-
Maybe I should play those numbers in the Washington Daily Game.

You must have seen the video of the ferry in last Sunday's storm.
-
Time for me to switch to the iPad.
-
The reading was most interesting and VERY instructive to me. Two songs will be cut entirely, that's for sure - they just don't work at all. Both are good songs but both just stop the show cold and not in a good way. I found the first act structure very sound and it just needs a couple of things flipped around and some song set-ups. Act two was the problem - once I remove the two songs then I can concentrate on the structure and try to get it right. One other song I definitely want in the show but it isn't right yet and I've asked those writers to take another pass at it. The sketches seem fine, and Doug's monologue is really fun but way too long and repetitious, so that's going to have to be trimmed. I will say that the end of act two, the last few things, are really good and powerful. So, work to be done and I'm hoping we can do it in the next two weeks.
-
Unless Vancouver beat us, I didn't hear there temperature today.
I don't think it was that high. It is difgicult to guess with the chill factor. It was very windy today

Nope but I get sea sick easily and have been on a few bad ferry rides. My niece in-law and I were cursing my niece on the ferry to Cozumel for the wedding. Thank goodness the ride back was ok.

Hello, 1 Guest!
-
What's your name?
-
One of these days, one of these guests is going to answer me.
-
But not tonight!
-
Instead, I have driven the guest from the board.
-
Not on purpose.
-
Either I scared them away, or they were bored to death with my posts.
-
I am voting for option #2.
-
Six
-
Well, I have bored myself off of here.
Good night!
-
I wish I had known that George was coming to Tacoma, maybe we could have met early for a bite.
It was very much at the last minute. I only decided to buy a ticket this afternoon.
-
I hope he enjoys the show as much as I did.
I did! Very much.
-
It taught me a lot about a part of Jewish history that I didn't know about.
I know very little about Jewish history, so that part was interesting to me.
-
All the actors were good.
-
The costumes were good, too.
-
The set was very nice.
-
The show was very well written.
-
Overall, a great night of theater. :)
-
George, you have returned from the big city!
-
Oh, I am glad you enjoyed the show.
-
Weren't your friends great?
-

It's very interesting just reading about the whole writing process.
-
I always worry when I highly recommend a show, that other people aren't going to feel the same way about it.
-
BK, I have a question about the cast recording that will be made because of the Indiegogo campaign (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/l-a-now-and-then-a-new-musical-revue/x/5266254#/)...will you record just the songs, or will you record some of the sketches or monologues, or will you record the whole show?
-
Weren't your friends great?
They both are very good actors, so I wasn't surprised about that.
-
Was Jeff there tonight?
-
Was Jeff there tonight?
No, but Stacie said that he'd be there on Sunday.
-
My thinking about the cast album is that I may record it live - that's how it may play best.
-
This entire political season is making me sick.
Gesundheit.
