Well, you've read the notes, the notes stumbled but ran, and now it is time for you to post until the stumbling cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: NIDIFUGOUS!
-
First post after BK's post!
-
First post after George's post.
-
I am just loving these Day Runner notes. After you get through 1985, could you just make up a few more years, just for our entertainment.
-
Today, I will be ushering at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts for their SILENT MOVIE SERIES: WESTERN DOUBLE FEATURE (http://www.washingtoncenter.org/upcoming-events/2016/3/20/silent-movie-series-western-double-feature.html).
-
Before I go there though, I need to go to Costco and get some food for the cast and crew of TAO's next show, The Credeaux Canvas (http://olytheater.com/season14/credeaux/) by Keith Bunin, which opens on Friday. The Sunday before every TAO opening weekend, the board provides a meal for everyone working on a show.

Sounds like a great idea!
;)

What kind of chow will you be picking up at Costco?

I need to go to Costco this week to get a hot dog. I love their hot dogs

Since there are no food restrictions (allergies or whatever), I was going to get the turkey tortilla sandwich roll things...assuming that Costco has them. They did a couple of days ago.

So do I. :D
-
I, also, want to try Burger King's (BK, get it?) new grilled hot dogs.
-
I, also, want to try Burger King's (BK, get it?) new grilled hot dogs.
I've had them and they're not bad. They're smaller than Costco's hot dogs, but pretty good.
-
Well, I need to go to sleep so that I can get up early enough to run my errand before ushering.
-
After ushering, I'm going back to TAO's show and watch their rehearsal.
-
Good night...whoever is left. 8)

Good night...fwhoever is left. 8)
Good night, George. I guess it is just me.
-
First post in the East coast morning!
-
Second.
Good morning, all.
-
Creature notes are fascinating but agonizing, because I want BK (not the home of the Whopper) to climb into his time machine and go back and fire that crew and fix everything once and for all.
-
Good morning, all! I had some weird Goodspeed-summer theatre dreams but all I remember now is a strange dance number and losing my keys.
-
I have no plans today.
-
I'll read.
-
Good morning!
-
It's a chilly morning in the Nation's Capital.
-
Today I must watch a couple of YouTube videos and read through a score and a script of a musical someone around here is thinking of doing next year.
-
But right now I must go and do a couple of things for someone, so I will be back later.
-
Good morning to all

Sunday......sunshine....first day of spring!
-
Today would have been my father's 90th birthday. He almost made it.....missed it by only six months.
-
Very interesting and entertaining notes. Now I want to watch CREATURE again.....
-
Those dear readers who have Netflix.....could you check to see if The High Powered Rifle starring Miss Allison Hayes is on there?
No one has seen the film for about fifty years, and it's really the only film she made that I haven't seen....if it's there perhaps it can be recorded for me.....
-
And so it has.

Didn't see it.

Some old cripple named Steven Hayes on FB really hates me! For reasons I do not know, about a month ago he began making digs at my posts about wanting employment, and today he declared war.
-
If you go to 11:25 of this video you will see a clip from Ethel Is An Elephant.
https://youtu.be/J7fu7Nn_Tdk (https://youtu.be/J7fu7Nn_Tdk)
-
Thanks DR ELMORE.....the movie seems to have disappeared. Even producer-director Maury Dexter doesn't know where it is....
-
Some of those shows....including Ethel....seem a bit....uh misguided DR MICHAEL.
-
Some of those shows....including Ethel....seem a bit....uh misguided DR KEVIN.
If it were DR Kevin, I think the show would have been BARBRA IS A BELTER, or something like that.
-
Or perhaps Barbra is a Musical Instrument.
-
Every week, Barbra assumes the guise of another musical instrument in her husband's band at the Tropicana Club so she can keep an eye on him.

Is there a link? What the heck is going on?
-
LOL DR FJL.....I changed it.....
-
From DR TCB:
Sorry. If you don't drive thru Tacoma and you don't take a ferry; I am not sure there is any other way to get to Poulsbo.
;D
It will be one or the other.
I don't know if we will be able to stop in Tacoma on our way up. It will depend when we need to pick our friends up at the airport, if they actually go.
-
I didn't know Lembeck had done the Goodbye Girl pilot - and while I adore him, he's the reason it didn't sell - because he has all the obnoxious and pushy qualities that Dreyfuss has (as do I) with none of the heart or warmth (both of which I have) - same reason his chemistry with Mackie Phillips was off and why he didn't work on One Day at a Time.
-
I'm up, I'm up - about nine-and-a-half hours of sleep, but I have a really bad headache so must take something for it.
-
My friend battling cancer is off to his oncologist tomorrow. Please send him some positive healthy vibes.
-
I finally finished reading The Goldfinch, which is very long. I thought the first half was great, truly a beautiful, wonderful novel. Then I felt rather bogged down by it and was relieved to finish it. The writing did stay consistently beautiful, it was the story that dragged for me.
-
I have spent most of my weekend orchestrating a number for a friend's demo page. I hope to finish it tomorrow, and then I will begin the second number fro him. I'm going to take a break and walk to the bank.

Vibes to all of our friends battling cancer!!!
-
Special vibes to DR Elmore's friend.
-
Palm Sunday afternoon greetings! I went to church today for the first time since Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 7) and it was in Lima. That means I've been up since 5:30am and may soon be napping...

My friend battling cancer is off to his oncologist tomorrow. Please send him some positive healthy vibes.

The lost $500 check that was eaten by the Citibank ATM has at last cleared with Citibank and I am off the hook. Big relief!

FINALLY!

The lost $500 check that was eaten by the Citibank ATM has at last cleared with Citibank and I am off the hook. Big relief!
Glad to hear it!

I'm back in my second session with FINALE. I don't think I even commented on the first one the other day.
But man, the things I could say if this weren't a family friendly site. In short, the learning curve on this thing is a BITCH.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Hugs to Jrand. I'm glad you had as much time with your father as you did.
-
Vibes to Larry's friend for a successful treatment and recovery.
-
The same for TCB's friend Sandy.
-
Health vibes all around.
-
I bought a new Macbook, but apparently my Time Warner password isn't what I thought it was. I'll have to get the TW guy out here to reset it. THEN, hopefully, I'll be up and running with the new computer. This old one has been holding up remarkably--and I hope it continues to do so.
-
We have a lunar eclipse coming on the 23rd. Some years these eclipses have really been disruptive. Hopefully, this one won't be.

Oh, I lucked out a bit on the Mac purchase. I called MacMall because you can usually save a few dollars by buying from them, but they didn't have the models I was interested in in stock. It had never occurred to me to go to BestBuy, although there's one right near me. They turned up in a Google search, had the models I was debating between in stock, and even had MacMallish prices ($50-60 less than retail). When I checked their website on Thursday they had a 3-day sale on and the price was considerably lower. Yay!
-
A lovely Sunday to all.
TTFN.
-
For all the Southern Floridians here or know people.
I will be doing a reading of Harvey Fierstein's Safe Sex this Thursday at the World AIDS Museum and Education Center in Fort Lauderdale. I will be appearing in "Manny and Jake". It is a fundraiser for the museum. Donation asked is $10. There will be a Q & A afterwards and wine and desserts will be served.

Congratulations! I so look forward to moving to a Mac one of these days. Which model/size/whatever did you choose?

Vibes for DR Elmore's friend.!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
Thanks DR JEANNE.....yes, I was very lucky.
Good news from DR ELMORE about The Check.
Continued vibes for Sandy, the friend of DR TCB and also the DR ELMORE's friend.
-
Continued vibes for the friends of DR TCB and DR elmore!

Watching Italian group Il Volo--the 3 young singers who appeared with Barbra in 2012-2013. They're now old enough to have mustaches.
-
They sang Volare and it sounded good but it was too fast, I think. I always like Bobby Rydell's version.
-
I need to go to Costco this week to get a hot dog. I love their hot dogs
Just saw an article online about the great prices for their snack bar foods. The only thing I might try would be the cheese pizza. Have you ever had that?
-
I went to Costco last week and got a refund of the portion of the membership fee that goes towards "executive membership." I had only gotten a rebate of $22 (they give you a certain percentage (is it 5%?) of your purchases for a year (well, it was more like 10 months for me)), so I gave them the rebate check back and they refunded $55 in cash. I explained that the woman who opened my membership last year convinced me to get executive membership even though I didn't think I would spend enough to make it worth my while. They were very nice about it.
-
Enjoyed the notes, BK!
-
The lost $500 check that was eaten by the Citibank ATM has at last cleared with Citibank and I am off the hook. Big relief!
Excellent news!

From DR George:
First post after BK's post!
From DR TCB:
First post after George's post.
I was sleeping :) :) :)
-
And I stayed asleep, only waking a couple of times and then going right back to sleep until about 7:00.
-
We saw "10 Cloverfield Lane" today-excellent. If you don't know anything about it, don't let anyone tell you anything. Make your own decisions while watching.
-
I finally finished reading The Goldfinch, which is very long. I thought the first half was great, truly a beautiful, wonderful novel. Then I felt rather bogged down by it and was relieved to finish it. The writing did stay consistently beautiful, it was the story that dragged for me.
Was it the drugs? I don't want to give away anything for non readers, but I sort of felt something similar.
-
Let's move on.
-
Four!
-
I'm watching Mean Girls. Why? Because they're doing a musical version?
-
It has been one loooooooooong weekend.
-
Can you say bitch on the Internet?
-
After waiting in the rain and a grueling thunderstorm for 2 1/2 hours, we made it to Willie Nelson's party on Friday.
Then on Saturday, we went to Rachel Ray's public party where Naughty by Nature were the headliners.
-
I'm not a rap fan, but Naughty by Nature put on a great show.
-
Then they showed up at Ray's house party, the first major band or artist to do so, and proceeded to stand in line for food, then pose for every photo people asked them to.
They were nice by nature. Talkative, sweet even.
-
Can you say bitch on the Internet?
Bitch on the Internet.
-
I've been called a bitch in other situations as well.
-
Sleep is so overrated.
-
Found a strange 2-CD recording called Greetings from the Follies, Palm Springs California, Great Moments at the Follies, Vol. 1.
It's got Howard Keel, Kaye Ballard, Gloria Loring, Bill Dana, John Byner, Donald O'Connor and the Four Aces.
-
Hello, 1 Guest!
-
Shall we play What's My Line?
-
Caught about 15 minutes of North yesterday, one of the worst movies ever made. Surprised to see that Scarlett Johansen as a little girl was in it.
Everything she's done since is a step up.
-
Mean Girls is OK. Not great. OK. Don't know why it was such a touchstone movie.
-
Good night, all.
-
Good evening!
-
Alone again
-
Naturally!
-
I am trying to watch THE PASSION, but I can't say I am enjoying it.
-
Today was a nothing day.
-
I ate something yesterday that didn't agree with me, and I have suffered for it all day.
-
I did get out of the house and went to the store.
-
Nicky insisted that he could not go all day without dinner.
-
I offered to let him take the car, but he insisted that he couldn't drive.
-
I think he was just embarrassed to be seen driving a Hyundai.
-
Well, let's get things moving.
-
They wise words won't post themselves.
-
Well, I guess the wise words won't be posted by me, either.
-
Only one more post.
-
Page Five!
-
Mean Girls is OK. Not great. OK. Don't know why it was such a touchstone movie.
Possibly because you were never a teenage girl.
-
Vibes and prayers for Elmores dear friend
-
Hello tommy
-
I have actually spent from 7 am until shortly after midnight Being Productive and Getting a Things Done
-
I set up and hosted the coffee hour for the first time in months.... People have been signing up but no one had signed up this week and I knew we would have a crowd for Palm Sunday and wAnted there to be an opportunity for "fellowshipping" ( as Garrison Keillor says)
-
Then I came home and ....don't judge me people, I've been busy...
-
I um, I ...
-
I took down the Christmas Tree
-
And put all the ornaments away
-
And put the tree in the garage
-
The Vixter helped
-
Hello, Debby!
-
With the tree in the garage part....
-
She had to go to work
-
Vixdad was out for the day
-
He was most surprised when he came home
-
The room seems...empty
-
Maybe I should have just hung Easter eggs on it
-
I haven't heard from Sandy for several days.
-
I also went the supermarket
-
And I bought a small prime rib using a "supercoupon" at the Shoprite I paid $4.77 al lb for a 5 lb roast .
-
I didn't buy anything for myself to eat at the store
-
Wow! Good price.
-
I saw a recipe that said to slowly cook the roast at 200 degrees and then at the end turn the heAt up to 500 so the out side crisps up.
-
I think Easter eggs on the tree would have been great.
-
I did just that and it took about 4 hours. But I was putting ornaments awAy that whole time
-
I saw a recipe that said to slowly cook the roast at 200 degrees and then at the end turn the heAt up to 500 so the out side crisps up.
I wouldn't know. I have trouble cooking hamburger.
-
And the roast was perfect...Vixdad and I ate and there is enough for the three of us to get another meL
-
Wow! Good price.
Oh yes. Without the coupon it was $9 49 a lb
-
Six!!
-
Prime rib is too rich for my system.
-
I also took some small potatoes, quartered them and out them in a baking dish with beef broth and let them cook as long as the bef did
-
Where was my invitation for dinner?
-
By the end all the broth had been Bsorbed by the taters. And they were lovely
-
I also had a supercoupon for asparagus at 99 cents a lb and I bought two bunches that were nice and thin and tender
-
One bunch us still living in a mug of wTer in the fridge.
-
How many words a minute can you type?
-
Finished with my viewing - headache has returned so two more Tylenol for me.
-
The other was trimmed at the bottom and out in a baking dish with the juice of one lemon and several slices of salted butter and out in the ovens during the 15 minutes or do of the 500 degree heat.... They came out really well
-
I can't keep up with you.
-
How many words a minute can you type?
I hav no idea I am using the Ipad and I use just my right index finger
-
That is amazing.
-
My knees and my back are killing me We hav no real attic. Just a crawl space under the eaves which us accessed by a small door about three feet high so I gave to crawl in and out to take out and put in the storage boxes
-
You must do great on a ten-key.
-
Ten key?
-
My knees and my back are killing me We hav no real attic. Just a crawl space under the eaves which us accessed by a small door about three feet high so I gave to crawl in and out to take out and put in the storage boxes
I have to be the one that does it. Vixdad literally cannot fit in the space and the Vixter cannot beAr to be in the small dark enclosed space
-

SPOILER
Yup, and more. I was very tired of Boris. when they left the country it was interesting but again dragged on too long for me.
-
Where was my invitation for dinner?
You are always welcome!
-
I also had a supercoupon for turkey hill ice cream. $1.49 for a half gallon (limit 2)
-
Ten key?
Calculator
-
So there is currently a new 1/2 gallon if vanilla and a new 1/2 gallon of tin roof sundae residing in my freezer
-
I blame bk and his TOD of yesterday
-
I also had a supercoupon for turkey hill ice cream. $1.49 for a half gallon (limit 2)
I have never heard of Turkey Hill
-
It us very good. Maybe it's an east coast thing

Hmmm is 1:31 in the am too late for a dish of ice cream?

I figured that.
-
Hmmm is 1:31 in the am too late for a rush office cream?
No, never.
-
Or too early?
-
I figured that.
Hope, orally more accurately than I type

Though of course the calculator never tries to guess what number I am planning to tyoe and inserts it regardless of my personal preferences

As the kids say

The ice cream is calling so loudly I must get a dish quickly lest it rouse the rest f the house

Just saw an article online about the great prices for their snack bar foods. The only thing I might try would be the cheese pizza. Have you ever had that?
I have, and it's very good. Have it without hesitation!

I'm back.

I have the executive membership, also. I only got $24 back. I was planning on doing the exact same thing...getting back the difference of the membership.

Good for them doing the right thing.
From what I understand, it's a regular policy to refund the difference between an executive membership and the regular membership if you don't get enough back from the rebate.
-
Finished with my viewing - headache has returned so two more Tylenol for me.
I got a headache as soon as I got home. I don't know why it came on just as I came home. :-\ Tylenol doesn't work for me, though. I use ibuprofen. It doesn't work instantly, but it does work.
-
I have just looked out the window, despite my loud and public outcries the weather has heeded all the meterological experts rather than my demands and is currently depositing snow.. SNOW! On this the first day of spring
Yikes! It's supposed to be too warm for snow!
-
That was some frenzy!
-
Of course our Canaduan family would take this in stride as natural
-
My necice is quite used to snow on her birthday.....in May
-
Well since I must be up in 5 hours I shall bid ye all a fond adieu

I cannot believe that they have made another remake of BEN-HUR!
