I'm curious to see feedback from friends who saw the dress of 1776 last night. Our DR ChasSmith and his friends who came to one of the Kritzerland show are seeing it tonight. I hope they have a wonderful time!
Just a guess, but since they're putting in the intermission, perhaps not much at all?

I've heard they're doing 95+% of the book, possibly all of it. What I won't know until I see it on Saturday is what the costumes are like. Most of the nice comments I've seen are about how good the orchestrations are. One FB friend praised me, and I responded with this:
thank you for the compliment, but it really deserves to go to my colleague and adopted son, Josh Clayton, who is one amazingly talented young man: orchestrator, archeologist, copyist, and my favorite collaborator. He's City Center Encores! behind-the-scenes genius and I am lucky that he chose me to be a friend and mentor. He did the hard work, and I proofread and threw in my two cents worth of opinion.
DR JANE thanks for posting that article about Patty last night - it did answer some questions.
I know it was unintentional since this drawing is a couple of years old, but doesn't the guy in this ad for my play, HAIL ON THE CHIEF!, remind you of somebody who is currently running for President?

I have a doctor's appointment this morning at 10:30.
We have several matters to discuss including some not-so-fun side effects I seem to be having to one or other of my medications. It's a sort of out-of-body-but-not-quite feeling. I feel like I'm just a tad separated from myself but still attached. This has been going on the past two days.
I remain functional, but it's almost "inner-ear-infection-ish" in terms of the feeling I sometimes get, but my inner ears are fine.
Looking forward to discussing this with her this morning.

Wednesday morning greetings! Just returned from my basement walk - today I did a little over 15 minutes, so that's progress. Also folded some laundry and started scoping out things to donate to AAUW's spring garage sale.

GOOD FOR YOU!
Ask BK Day:
Bruce, why do you sometimes watch movies you admittedly KNOW are going to be bad even before you sit down?
And the word of the day is: TESSELLATE!
Yesterday was a fun day at the office. Lots of interesting, even challenging, work - one project after another. The day flies by when that happens and it reminds me how much I like this numbers work when it's about interesting work.
having to do my best at driving in reverse for some distance down Ventura Blvd.

The Kritzerland show sounds wonderful!!! I hope to win the lottery between now and the LA Show, so that I can be in attendance for that.
DR ELMORE - we need photos of the reunion!

A friend who has a lot of family in MA told me that it's there, too, and people are saying that the only thing that helps is sleep. They probably don't know about Sambucol, which I feel does help. Unfortunately, even Sambucol can't knock it coompletely.

DR John G: My UPS delivery guy is the father of Misty Copeland's fiancee who is a New York City lawyer. The wedding is in either May or June.
Back from doctor and enjoying a nice lunch of salmon with green beans and scalloped potatoes.
Doctor has dropped my Metformin medication and doubled my Glipizide dosage. That works for me.
Other changes are coming up, but she needs to speak with a cardiologist first.
My strange episodes are either minor side effects of Lasic (aka furosemide) or the product of either low blood pressure or low blood sugar.
DR JohnG I really liked Bridges of Spies!
Hey, that video is damned good, DR Elmore! Very nice. And yes, it makes me want to know and see and hear more about the show.
One little constructive comment, if I may: On my screen, the image of the performance portions are squished a little bit horizontally (or stretched a little bit vertically). Interview segments are perfect, and I'm no techie, but I'll betcha the performance ones could be pulled out to the full 16x9 sides and that might be the correction that's needed. If it can't be fixed, well, most people don't notice this stuff anyway. But I do. :)
P.S. -- DR Elmore should do commercials. "A little moonshine goes a looong way." Perfect!

;)
Congrats on finding it.

Exactly. Even lovable, doddering old coots can do things if they set their minds to it. Congrats.

Perseverance paid off. I got to the O's and under "Orchestra," I found the missing tracks. Took me half the damned day.
I'm trying to find a good mini-smartphone. Keith wants to change back to t-mobile from verizon. If we do that I will need a new phone and it makes sense for me to upgrade.
My real problem with the phones is that they don't fit into my pocket or purse.

That's my problem, also. I have a flip-phone that fits perfectly in the little fob pocket of my jeans, but I know if I get any kind of smart phone, that won't fit in there.
Sorry you had another sleepless night, DR Jane.

You look (and sound) delightful.
And I stopped and got a flu shot.
Perhaps I will go down to the waterfront tomorrow.
And I stopped and got a flu shot.
Hmmmm, late in the season flu shot or early ;)
Perhaps that can wait for a less glorious day.
Do you know what you want to get?
Well, time to leave work. I want to go to Costco so I might have one of their hot dogs, but we'll see if I feel like it when I get there.
Until later.
I'm hungry for a Costco dog with sauerkraut right now. Thanks, George.
And Sind I am supposed to be there in 6 hours..... Goodnigt
