Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland 66, and now it is time for you to post until the 66 cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ENTOPTIC!
-
Congrats on last night's show, BK!
-
And that's a great cast picture!
-
Topic of the Day: Grey's Anatomy.

Congrats on how well the show went, BK!
-
Most enjoyable "Don't tell Mama" take in the notes!
-
Sounds like such a delightful show all around.

TOD: MASH, and in its good weeks, Royal Pains
-
Good morning, all! I'm happy last night's show went well. What is this "Slasher Song"?
-
This weekend has been crazy and the week through Sunday promises to remain so. I'm taking the attitude of re;ax; next week's it's calm to get me through it.
-
The good news is that I did not sleep through the alarm and I'm ready for today's therapy.
-
I've been to market and now it's time to finish up here and get to therapy AKA The House of Pain.
-
I need to win the lottery. It's my only hope of financial survival, now that my brothers have screwed beyond repair our inheritance.
-
Good morning, all.
Coffee!
-
It's snowing.
-
One long crazy dream involving: a messy house, a composition for Finale for which the lyrics needed to be copied from this ancient linen-backed score, the making of a large quantity of what might have been a variation on Cincinnati chili, some other stuff I already forget, and two nuns.
-
The Finale thing was from my having done the upgrade just before going to bed. The nuns were from my having watched The Lilies of the Field just prior to that. The food thing very likely derived from a double whammy of cheeseburgers earlier (don't ask). And yes, a couple of rooms are getting a much needed cleanup today.
-
There. I think I just saved myself $35.
-
No. 66 sounds like a clear winner, BK.
Great photo, and I look forward to any and all videos.
-
good morning to all
-
I am home from the House of Pain. I've had several adventures.
-
At therapy I discovered that one of the nose pads on my new glasses was missing. When I got off the crosstown bus at Broadway and 96th, I discovered that a Cohen Optical store was at the bus stop. So I went in, told them I had purchased the glasses at their 72nd Street store, and they repaired the nose pad for me.
-
My downtown 104 bus driver was in a really cheery mood, so I complimented him. Some of these drivers are trolls and it's nice to have one in such a helpful and pleasant mood.
-
Good news DR ELMORE!

I stopped at Broadway Farm at 86th Street and got some cauliflower, tomatoes, broccoli, bean sprouts, water cress, and apples. There was a fire hydrant gushing water. Since there was no sign of a fire or police crew, I called 911 and reported it.
-
Then I walked home and I am in AGONY. Time for drugs. No time for sex or rock'n'roll.
-
Congratulations on such a great show-- wish I'd been there.
-
There was a report on CBS This Morning about internet theft and spyware so I decided, since my usual state is paranoid, to run my security system this morning.
And that is the end of the news.

The weekend. Where in frell did it go?
-
Three Four FIVE of my six co-workers are out today and tomorrow for various/sundry reasons.
-
I watched the World Figure Skating Championships Friday and Saturday.
The men's competition was incredible. The gold medal skate was phenomenal! And while the American men did not finish on the medal podium, they finished 6th, 8th and 10th. Sadly, we will only be able to send two to next year's competition. There is a rule that any country that has finishers in the top 10 must be able to add the placement of the top two and come up with a number not to exceed 13. Since 6 and 8 were our top two placements, we lost the privilege of sending three men next year.
The women's competition was also incredible. The U.S. Women did very well, finishing 2nd, 4th and 10th. Three women will get to go again next year.
The champions for men and women skated the highest-scoring skates ever recorded in their categories...and both were superb.
-
Good morning, all.
Happy Monday vibes.
-
My downtown 104 bus driver was in a really cheery mood, so I complimented him. Some of these drivers are trolls and it's nice to have one in such a helpful and pleasant mood.
I'm sure you made his mood even better :)

DR Ron thanks for the skating report. I don't watch it anymore. I should because it would be spectacular on our new t.v.

DRs, I wonder if any of you might be in possession of an mp3 file of Doris Day singing "Any Way the Wind Blows" you might send me?
-
Monday afternoon greetings! Another quiet day here. I've had a 20-minute walk in the basement, folded some laundry, and gotten a double recipe of chili going in the crockpot. Richard is still taking it easy and has made a Wednesday appointment with the GI doctor.

I don't know how many of you know of Don Francks, but he has passed away (http://www.fyimusicnews.ca/articles/2016/04/04/rip-don-francks).
Some of you may recall that his death was reported a year or so ago...inaccurately. Now, it seems, it's sadly true. He has died of cancer.
For anyone has seen "Finian's Rainbow", he played Woody and wooed Petula Clark in a gorgeous duet of "That Old Devil Moon."

Here it is after Noon...and I don't feel like I've been here longer than an hour or two.

Thanks for posting the sad news on Don Franks. I know it's not great but I love Finian's Rainbow. I'd rather listen to the soundtrack than watch the movie.

I don't know if I'm up or down or sideways. I think I got no sleep at all last night, and finally got a couple of hours this morning around ten. I just did a stupid thing and had a piece of pizza last night (in addition to my pasta with butter) and you'd think I'd know by now that there's something in their red sauce that my stomach hates and I was just nauseous all night long and still am a bit.
-

I feel the same way about the film. I do wish i liked the orchestrations more.

DR Ron you provided lots of good links today. I will have to watch the ice skating later, unfortunately on my little computer screen vs our big tv.
-
I didn't even know the Skating Champiionships were on this weekend....I must have been asleep!
-
I am off in a bit to Day Two of auditions. Of course we need a few more men.....we probably have enough women, but someone better may show up.
This is my first time working with this pianist and music/vocal director.....we shall see how this turns out. Of course, as the choreographer, it's not really my place to do much more than add my two cents on the casting.....
For some reason, the director has decided that he needs two actresses to play Amy....one younger and one older......of course he set the age limit at 14, so all of the girls are really basically the same age.....
The girl he is looking at for Jo right now is just not a strong enough actress to carry the show....she is a high school senior, and seems even younger....
Maybe JO will show up tonight.

LOL! I read "familiar"!
Yes, my brothers have so screwed up that damned property I will be paying $!200+ a year on taxes for the rest of my fucking life instead of having the proceeds from the sale to keep me relatively secure. God, they piss me off.

Well, once again I am watching THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW.
I think it is my all time favorite sitcom.
I never seem to get sick of it, but I cannot same the same for my hubby!!!
-
Don Knotts was one of the best physical actors of our time, hands down.
Anyone else agree???
-
Are there any ANDY GRIFFITH FANS ?
If so what are your favorite characters and episodes?
-
I have so many I don't know which one to pick as my favorite.
Of course THE FUN GIRLS episodes were at the top of my list!!!
-
I hate to sound like a gushing fan but Santino Fontana just sent me a friend request on Facebook.
-

Yes, however, Keith does not watch ice skating which is part of the reason I stopped watching. We watch enough tv. I prefer not to watch more on my own.

Sorry DR Kate, I disagree. On the whole I really did not enjoy him.
-
We have been watching a variety of very old shows on Youtube. Currently our three favorite shows are Fury, Burns & Allen, and The Rebel.
-

My favorite character is Opie, always has been. I would not call myself a big fan.
-
We have been watching a variety of very old shows on Youtube. Currently our three favorite shows are Fury, Burns & Allen, and The Rebel.
Loved all three shows...especially "Fury". I wanted to be Joey, the boy on the ranch with the horse named "Fury".
Of course, I also wanted to be Kevin Corcoran so that I could have played Moochie and Toby Tyler.
-
I hate to sound like a gushing fan but Santino Fontana just sent me a friend request on Facebook.
Lucky you! He's so dreamy! ;)

Fury is still my favorite horse. Keith and I laugh over the various ways Fury saves Joey's life. Fury is just sooooo cute.

I had plans to go see tulips at the tulip farm in Oregon. I canceled them yesterday thinking it would rain today. It didn't rain, still it was good I was home. I had to sign for my new iPhone.
-
I hate to sound like a gushing fan but Santino Fontana just sent me a friend request on Facebook.

He's so damned talented.
-
I was very excited my new phone would be in a pretty color. I did not notice that most of the images were of the back and the side of the phones. The front is not a pretty color, it is white. I do not like white for phones, tablets, etc.
-
Good afternoon.
-
It's getting warm here. Mid 90's today.
-
I think I wasn't as ready to move to Arizona as I thought I was.

Well, there is that, too!
-
And on that note (A-natural), I'm leaving work. I don't have anywhere to go, so I'm going directly home. It's almost strange to do that. ;)
Until later.
-
Keith is popping corn :)
-
What a weirdly weird day. I did some interesting stuff with the LA show, and finally I felt okay enough to try some food - so I had a Chinese chicken salad and a bagel. Then I came home and had a long chat with Lanny Meyers, and now I'm watching an absolutely wretchedly bad movie on Netflix and not feeling so good again.
-
Interesting that there are so many medical TV shows that I don't think of as being medical. But I've liked a lot of them as well.
-
Kate, I'm a big fan of Andy Griffith, the performer. He was fine comedian, a really good actor and very underrated.
Love his performance on the cast album of Destry Rides Again. He's sly and funny.
-
This was a long day at the office, but some varied and interesting work.
-
I'd missed Len on Dancing with the Stars when he was gone, but this season, i' finding him rather rude for the sake of being rude. I'm wondering if they're encouraging him to be that way to generate some drama.
-
Watching a wonderful documentary called Irwin and Fran about the Coreys. Professor Irwin Corey was 95 when it was filmed, but there's some great footage from the past.
-
There's even a clip of him singing a song from Flahooley, "The Springtime Cometh."
-
This was a long day at the office, but some varied and interesting work.
Ditto. Reminds me, I need to do my taxes. Oy.
-
I think I need to get out my various recordings of Finian's Rainbow. Burton Lane's music just sends my spirit soaring.
Here's Dinah Washington making me cry with Look to the Rainbow:

Hi, George.

What are you doing this evening?

Any stories to tell?

Anything to move the post count along?
-
Has anybody seen page five?

It's hiding somewhere.

But I don't know where to find it.

Well, at least not just yet.

Did anyone watch E/R Starring Elliot Gould? It also took place in Chicago and George Clooney was in it for a number of episodes.
-
Good evening!
-
I watched the Men's Final College Basketball game tonight.
-
What a fantastic game.
-
As the announcers said, it was a game for the ages.
-
Elmore, I can't believe your brothers have screwed you over this way.
-
Don't either of them have a need for the money?
-
Or the desire to stop wasting money on taxes each year?

I am so sorry to read of his passing. I was a big fan of the movie version of FINIAN'S RAINBOW, and of his performance.
-
Naturally the film doesn't hold a candle to Elmore's version, but that goes without saying.
-
Did anyone watch E/R Starring Elliot Gould? It also took place in Chicago and George Clooney was in it for a number of episodes.
I remember that show. I used to watch it.

I think it is my all time favorite sitcom.
I never seem to get sick of it, but I cannot same the same for my hubby!!!
I am sorry that you get sick of your husband.
-
Or, did I misread that sentence?
-
I was expecting rain all day, and I couldn't believe how sunny (but cool) it was in town.
-
Of course, the partial showers reared their ugly head as soon as I decided to run errands.
-
Now they are saying showers tomorrow morning.
-
I was going to go have my blood work done early in the morning, but maybe I will wait until Wednesday morning.
-
It seems like I have a million errand that I need to get done either this week or next.
-
All of them have to be done by next Friday, before I leave on my vacation next Saturday.
-
Kevin, I am really jealous of you getting to see Zachary Levi in SHE LOVES ME, and getting to meet him after the show.
-
I loved him in CHUCK. In fact, I am watching all of the episodes of CHUCK over again on Netflix.
-
You would think with all of the programs available on Netflix that I could find something new to watch.
-
But I really enjoy CHUCK.
-
One more post.
-
Six!
-
I have now switched over to my iPad.
-
And Cheyenne Jackson was even better than Mr. Francks.
Why, yes he was! I didn't realize it until years later, but I saw Cheyenne Jackson live in a production of "Children of Eden" in Everett (I think...it was outside the Seattle area, I do remember that). I found the program several years later and realized the he was in a local-ish production that I saw!
-
But I really enjoy CHUCK.
So did I. :)
-
Want to feel better, really and truly.
-
But I really enjoy CHUCK.
So did I. :)
It Is one of the only series that I can honestly say that I have seen every episode.
