Well, you've read the notes, the notes visited BKland, and now it is time for you to post until the visiting BKland cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MITHRIDATE!
-
The first post following BK!
-
Next post!
;)
-
Good night, George.
-
Good night, TCB.
-
good morning to all
-
Good morning, all! I slept well, and I'm having lots of dreams I no longer remember. I blame the pain meds.
-
I have little to report. Some of my morning will be spent tidying the apartment and vacuuming, then I will work on the Moross score.
-
First, coffee!
-
Good morning. Beyond that, I know nothing.
-
Vibes that all goes better with the book shipment!
-
Good morning, all.
Coffee and recliner, with a cat on the lap.
That's my day so far.
-
Once I get my arse moving, some keyboard programming followed by another visit to City of River.
Then on Thursday, one final visit to said vacation spot before a week off prior to tech week.
The programming is not for that, thank the goddesses. I must say it's relaxing as all hell to play a good old piano and celeste book for a change.
-
On childhood trips to the theme parks, my parents would never let me visit BKland, insisting it would be too traumatic for a youngster.
-
This weekend I'm off to Proctors in Schenectady, Empire State, USA, for a friend's birthday celebration that includes a visit to The Lion King on tour. That should be a most enjoyable getaway, as I haven't seen the show since the late '90s, Proctors is a beautiful theater, downtown Schenectady is fun to wander around in.

When I was working with the now-defunct New York State Theatre Institute (NYSTI), their tour of A Tale of Cinderella played Proctor's before playing Staten Island and Manhattan. It's a lovely theatre. That was my only trip to Schenectady/

That must have been great there. And I really like that Cinderella after only seeing and hearing it on DVD/CD a couple of times so far.

Thanks to all for the vibes! Everything is moving along.
DR JANE my mother is doing well....she just returned from her second treatment. She is tired, but that is to be expected.
DR TCB - nice new avatar!
-
Getting the books vibes for MR BK.....how frustrating!!!
-
We had two "stars" decline to be in the ensemble....which is okay. Other directors around here keep casting this one guy in LEADING roles because he is a good singer, but he can't act and is very heavy.....so he thinks he's a star. Once he leaves school, he is in a local college where he plays roles as well....he will find the market is small for actors of his size to play LEADS....even if he could act.
The girl just played the lead in GREASE at the local high school....it was a LONG night.
One girl hasn't responded to the email even though she was offered the role of one of the sisters. Come on, People! Let us know!

A cat on a lap, lucky you.

Ditto!

Good morning, all.
Happy hump day.
-
More book shipment vibes for BK.
-
Back in the day when I lived in upstate New York, I used to cover Proctor's Theater. Great space. Saw some fantastic shows there, great stars.
-
Great new avatar, TCB.
-
My condolences to former DR TD.
-
Let's move on.
-
Two!!!
-
Wednesday morning greetings! Today is Richard's appointment with the GI doc.
-
We had a delightful Tuesday evening attending a lecture in the series in which DR Elmore was speaker last fall. Last night's Colligan lecturer was James Tobin, award-winning narrative nonfiction writer who now teaches at Miami University. His topic last night was his book about Ernie Pyle, but I talked with him afterwards about his Franklin Roosevelt book and about our alma mater, The University of Michigan. Turns out his wife also has a library science degree from Michigan, but they were about 6 years behind me.
-
Apartment tidied and vacuumed. I need drugs.
-
Doctor visit vibes for RICHARD.

Sleepy morning at work.
-
I watched "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" upon arriving home yesterday evening.
LOVED IT!
-
Good morning.

Maybe the hiker needs glasses DR LAURA.

Wednesday morning greetings! Today is Richard's appointment with the GI doc.
Good luck.

This may not be your neighborhood MR BK....it might be Encino...or the other side of the street.

I am at a infusion center getting a dose of medication for my bones. I miss the nice little place I went to in Medford. The woman who did it was extra slow to reduce reactions to it. I just got the iv put in, what a production and it isn't very comfortable. I didn't even think about it in Medford.
-
I'm going to read. I haveto wait for the blood work to clear before I can get an ok on the infusion.
-
Merle Haggard (http://blog.siriusxm.com/2016/04/06/rip-merle-haggard-country-music-icon-passes-away-at-age-79/) has died.
-
IV vibes for DR JANE
-
Thanks DR Jrand. They are finally beginning the infusion. When I expressed my surprise at how the, only, 15 minute drip she set the timer for 25 minutes.
-
DR TCB I love your avatar!

It is supposed to snow tonight. I have my fingers crossed that it is not as much as they say. I have not worn boots in weeks. Please no snow.
-
Have been up since seven, glued to the computer screen watching the auction - session one went very well - some stuff went crazy, but some stuff went for less than I'd hoped for, given their rarity - but on average a good run for me. Nothing in session two so I went and had a Cobb salad and a bagel. Had to walk because they've blocked off both ends of my street because they did whatever it is they feel they need to do once a year - something with an "s". Ridiculous. Books actually arrived this morning but I couldn't drive to get them - the helper has them but her car just went bad and she's waiting for her new husband to pick her up so she can come here and I can check the books.
-
It just goes to show you...
-
...it's always somethin'!
-
One day, you have complete access to the roads...
-
And the next day those roads are blocked because of some "s"...
-
Similar to which, I saw a meme on Facebook this morning that amused me. I thought it was a joke, but the source was NPR.org.
It has to do with the proposed law school to be named after Justice Scalia.
Yes...it's the Antonin Scalia School of Law.
Its acronyn...
-
...A.S.S.O.L.
-
Too funny...and likely not to be the final name of the school!
-
Page 3
-
They changed the school to the Antonin Scalia Law School, but the abbreviation ASLS is supposed to be worse than ASSoL. But I don't know what it means. Can anybody help? I guess I'm just too old.
-
Good Day All:
TOD:
BK,
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
-
I watched "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" upon arriving home yesterday evening.
LOVED IT!
I bought it yesterday, but haven't watched it at home, yet. I did see it in the theater and really enjoyed it!
-
Apparently it's less instead of LS. Got it now. Feeling like an AS.
-
Acronyms can be dangerass.
-
Getting the books vibes for MR BK.

I guess it means "flat-bottomed".
-

;D

Richard's doctor's appointment went fine. Three weeks from today we will return to their outpatient unit for him to have 2 diagnostic procedures. Richard told the doctor he hopes he washes his hands in between...
-
LOL I can guess what they are.
-
Keith asked his phone (google) to play a Merle Haggard song and she did. I asked my phone (seri) the same question and she could not find any in my music.
-
Hello!
-
Keith asked his phone (google) to play a Merle Haggard song and she did. I asked my phone (seri) the same question and she could not find any in my music.
Siri is pretty useless...
-
Winter was back for a couple of days. In the 30's this morning. Low sixties tomorrow but then back to the 40's on Saturday.
-
They changed the school to the Antonin Scalia Law School, but the abbreviation ASLS is supposed to be worse than ASSoL.
Would it have been based in Athol?
-
Watching "The Middle." Wow, has Sue Heck changed!
-

Siri is pretty useless...
She will tell me the weather ;)
-
Broadway con will be held in January again next year. I thought maybe they would have changed it after this year's little problem, namely the blizzard.
-
She just sent a text to Keith for me. I'm waiting for him to confirm it.
-
Confirmed with a sweet response :)
-
Page 3?
-
We watched the Call the Midwife Christmas special. I feel as if we missed much of season 4. I don't remember, or know, some of the newer faces and Nurse Cynthia is now Sister Mary Cynthia.
-
Wow...slow day, today. :-\
-
And now, I'm finally leaving work and going home.
-
But...
-
...before...
-
...I leave...
-
PAGE FOUR IT'S-ABOUT-TIME-IT'S-PAGE-FOUR DANCE!!

-
And NOW, I'm leaving!
Until later.
-
Thanks to all for the vibes! Everything is moving along.
DR JANE my mother is doing well....she just returned from her second treatment. She is tired, but that is to be expected.
DR TCB - nice new avatar!
Thanks, Jrand.
-
Great new avatar, TCB.
Thanks, John.
-
Where's everyone tonight?
-
I'd say hello, but there are 0 guests.
-
And no other posters.
-
Watching the end of the Antonioni film. The Italian segment was sort of meh. The British segment is strange.
But the movie overall has a strange power.
-
Today was an odd one.
-
Work was herky-jerky all day. Stop start, get nothing done.
-
But I had barbecue for lunch.
-
Even that was kind of strange. The power went out in the whole block half way through the meal.
-
Who has had a cronut?
-
Page four? Really???
-
What a completely wacky day, with literally almost all of it spent in front of the computer watching a very long auction unfold. I did pretty well with my items.
-
I'm home now.
-
And the books did arrive and they are as they should be and should have been from the beginning. Helper already got them all shipped. Eubie will also finally be here on Friday and all those will go out then.
-
I got the last of my songs in sheet music form, spent a bit proofing then a bit more fixing mistakes, and that's on its way to Lanny now.
-
Then I got some snacks from Gelson's, as they finally opened the damn street.
-
Page four? Really?
-
DR TCB I love your avatar!
Thank you, Jennifer.
-
It is supposed to snow tonight. I have my fingers crossed that it is not as much as they say. I have not worn boots in weeks. Please no snow.
Vibes for very little snow~~~~~~~~~~~
-
Winter was back for a couple of days. In the 30's this morning. Low sixties tomorrow but then back to the 40's on Saturday.
It is going to be 80 degrees here tomorrow.
-
Good evening!
-
What is this page four crap?
-
It is almost 9:30 on the left coast.
-
Greetings, 3 Guests!
-
I am your host for the moment.
-
Someone should join us soon.
-
Just one more!!!
-
FIVE!
-
Well, that is a step in the right direction.
-
Page five? Really?
-
But all three Guests have now left.
-
Maybe I ate a few too many snacks. Maybe I should lay off this coconut thing I got for dessert. Maybe not.
-
Kind of like my former boyfriends.
-
Old Actors' Lunch today.
-
It was nice.
-
A little boring, but nice.
-
I have so many errands that I need to get done, but I don't seem to be getting them done.
-
During the day, I mean, not at night.
-
Tomorrow I am taking an old friend to lunch.
-
I am just not sure where I am taking him.
-
I have so many errands that I need to get done, but I don't seem to be getting them done.
I finally did some laundry tonight.
-
I need to switch to my iPad.
-
Finally! I had to install an update to my iPad.
-
I thought it was going to take all night.
-
(I am afraid to say "Hi" to our 2 Guests)
-
They usually disappear when I speak to them.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
I got a load of laundry done.
-
Just had to share.
;D
-
Tomorrow, I'm having lunch with my friend Margo.
-
We haven't seen each other in a couple of weeks.
-
We'll decide where to go in the moment...
-
...which is how we usually do it.
-
I don't have a preference as to where we go...
-
Hi, George.
-
...other than several places that I don't want to go.
-
Hi, George.
Hi again, Tom.
-
SIX!!
-
Congratulations on SIX, George.
-
Congratulations on SIX, George.
Thanks, Tom!
:D
-
I forgot to take my medications this evening.
-
I had better do that before I fall asleep.
-
I shall return.
-
I had better do that before I fall asleep.
Yes, that would be a good thing to do.
-
And I am back.
-
And now I will say good night.
