Well, you've read the notes, the notes had unabated nausea, and now it is time for you to post until the nauseous cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ENDEMIC!
-
First post after BK!
-
Today is my niece's 32nd birthday. We're all meeting at my parents' house to celebrate. Her other grandmother will come over, as well as her aunt and uncle. It won't be the happiest of days because her dad (son to her other grandmother, and aunt's brother) died two weeks ago. But, it'll be what it'll be.
-
From yesterday...John, my condolences on the loss of your friend and former co-worker.
-
And now, to bed.
-
good morning to all
-
Condolences to John G on the loss of your friend.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I remember dreaming about my brother Randy, and a car with a broken passenger door. think we were behind the old shopping mall on Breil Boulevard in Middletown, OH.
-
I heard from my copyist Scott about the Moross mess. He was much kinder than I deserved about the mess to be cleaned up.
-
DR TCB, I'm happy your vacation has begun well. Enjoy!
-
DR John G, I'm so sorry to read about your friend's death.
-
BK, there's something going about. I was nauseous all day, went to bed around 8:00, and so far today I'm feeling pretty good. You've got a lot more stress than I do with the show, the "other" director, and various projects. I hope this clears up or you will see someone about it.
-
Enough of me.
-
Coffee!
-
Good morning, all.
Had a second wind going last night and was up to all hours, but slept in pretty nicely.
Coffee!
-
Nothing but a silly abstract musical dream. A minor irritation, nothing more.
-
One weather site calls for 70 and 74 today and tomorrow. The other calls for 73 and 78. I vote for number two. We need to ketchup.
-
Happy Birthday to the niece of DR GEORGE.
Condolences to DR JOHN G and the family of his friend.
-
Continued travel vibes for DR TCB.
I wonder how DR DRUXY is doing in Burbank?
-
Sister Act was performed exceedingly well. Based on one viewing it's not a show I care much about, but I can see how it certainly would have been fun to play. No matter. River City was the commitment, and where the bucks are this time.
-
Condolences to DR John G.
-
Attn DRs Ginny and Jrand65!
And DR John G.!
It's time for me to settle on travel dates for visiting beautiful SW Ohio in early May (cue May song). As previously threatened, I'm building in extra time this trip for fun and frolicking among friends, and I'd love it if we can manage to get together. And wouldn't it be additionally excellent if DR John G. just happened to be visiting Louisville at that time?
I'll post my dates in the next day or two and we shall see what's what.
-
From yesterday...John, my condolences on the loss of your friend and former co-worker.
So sorry. :( ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
Sunday morning greetings! After some very busy days, I've opted to stay home and ease into Sunday while the rest of the household goes to church. Eventually I'll get myself together for a trip to the grocery.
-
Condolences to DR John G and Barbara's family and friends...
-
DR ChasSmith, so far the only early May dates that don't work for me are 3 and 14 (daytime) and 5, 9, and 12 (evening). Otherwise, it's pretty open!
-
Feel better vibes for BK - sounds like you and Richard have something in common...
-
Last night at 10:25 I typed that I was falling asleep and then promptly fell asleep before hitting post.
-
DR TCB must have wondered where I went.

When I am nauseated I find matzos helps as does small sips of ginger ale or pepsi.

I've finished my HHW project: for the past 3-5 months I've been going through all of my posts between Jan. 2006 and Nov. 20, 2007, looking for all posts pertaining to my dad's cancer, death, and estate settlement. I just finished with Nov. 20, 2007. Now I willt to edit and clean up my posts so that there is a record for my family.
-
Is this for a memoir, Larry?
(I likely have missed some discussion of this during the height of busy season.)
-
It must have been a daunting project, but what a wonderful resource of essential history to draw on.

Wow, that is a major project. Did you separate all of your efforts to sell the property?

Dry on the prairie this spring. We've had some rain but nto a lot. We are still three inches below normal. We lacked in snow cover also. Iowa had a lot more snow than we did.
Yesterday, was a weird day weather wise. Fargo had sun and 73 but when i went to visit a freind in Jamestown, ND (90 miles to the west) it was 44, drizzle, and light fog.
A few interesting things lately... Taking a class to learn Dakota/Lakota.
Watching a person recieve their karma.
Working on a few writing projects...
I'm not quite sure how to take a step with one of them. I am a novice and perhaps ignorant of how the process works of getting published.
Hoping good things will happen...

I consider it ammunition.
Careful how you use it.. ammunition is good when used judiciously
I wish you well

I've used peppermint or chamomile tea

AMEN! Sipping on some right now before I go back to finish cleaning.

Hello All:
Prayers to all DR's who need them!!!

TOD:
BK, Where do you get your ideas for the characters in your wonderful books???
-
Hi DR Dakota. I'm sorry I missed you.
-
Happy Birthday to the niece of DR GEORGE.
Thanks, Jrand!
-
Happy birthday to George's niece from us, too!

Thanks, Fred!

Good day!
Birthday wishes to George's niece!
Thanks, DakotaCelt!
-
Well, I need to get ready for my niece's birthday. I must shower, shave, get dressed, and then leave.
Have a good day, all!
-
Well, my day got pretty jumpy. i did get through Act One of the Moross score for tomorrow, had a phone conversation with Qright State about the Kern 1917 shows, spoke to my friend Peter Foley about some possible work, and emailed the Library of Congress. I need some food and a nap.
-
I'm up, I'm up. Twelve full hours of sleep - I was really down for the count, I guess. Now I'm up for the count.
-
I woke up twice during the night - the first time I thought I was a goner and would have to throw up but I just stayed in bed, found a good position and fell back asleep. That was good. Second time was just a loo break. I don't remember any dreams last night.
-
Not sure how I'm feeling, tummy-wise. Maybe medium.
-
DR George, did you see the tryout of COME FROM AWAY when it played in Seattle? I firend of mie is working on it.
-
Feel better vibes for MR BK.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Where is everyone? Maybe I should say
Hello, no one.
-
It is quite warm here today. 85 was forecast, but I see that's been lowered a bit. It's still warm. Very warm, I suspect, over in BK's part of town. I hope Druxy likes hot weather, as it will be very warm in Burbank, also.
-
Tree pollen is very high. Ugh. I've progressed to not needing a box of kleenex with me at all times. For that I am thankful.
-
I watched the last of HAPPY VALLEY season 2. That show is sooo addicting! I already miss it.
-
Vibes of comfort to John G over the loss of your friend and co-worker, Barbara.
-
Vibes of comfort to Jane, too, for the loss of her friend.
-
Continued vibes to TCB's friend Sandy and to Larry's friend.
-
I hope to hear that TCB is all settled on board ship and starting to enjoy himself.
-
I send VIBES to all!
Have a nice Sunday.
TTFN.
-
Welcome back, DakotaCelt, hope you're OK.
-
Greetings from onboard ship. We set sail about an hour ago.
-
We are saying farewell to land until Thursday morning.
-
At that time, we will be arriving in Bermuda for the day.
-
Yesterday evening in Tampa we went to the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino for dinner.
-
My food was so-so, but my friend's steak was not edible - twice.
-
Usually the Hard Rock is consistently good, but not this time.
-
Riding back in the taxi, we stopped at a Circle K, so my friend could buy Diet Coke for the voyage.
-
They serve Diet Pepsi, which in considers to be poison.
-
While he was waiting in line to buy the soda, there was a guy in front of him buying something.
-
As the guy stood there, a cockroach crawled out of his pant leg.
-
Fortunately another quick thinking man with cowboy boots crushed the offending roach.
-
Outside in the cab, the driver was approached by a very insistent man who wanted the driver to take him and his girlfriend to her job.
-
She was already late for her shift at the strip club down the street!
-
An enlightening ride back to the hotel for both of us.
-
We stayed at the Sheraton Riverwalk in Tampa.
-
It was a lovely hotel, with a very friendly and helpful staff.
-
And that is the report for Day One. More later.
-
I need to change the page.
-
That shouldn't be hard.
-
One post to go.
-
Four!!
-
Good bye!

Good. Sometimes it is more difficult to deal with a loss like that when there are many unresolved issues.
-
New work vibes for DR elmore!

Vibes of comfort to Jane, too, for the loss of her friend.
Thank you.

Usually the Hard Rock is consistently good, but not this time.
I have been lucky with the veggie burger. They had changed it when we went to the one in Vegas. It wasn't as good as I remembered, but still good.
-

I hope there will be a report every day.

Feeling inspired and engaging words on an electronic piece of paper.
-
Back from giving a little advice to a teen and mom. I decided a turkey sandwich would be safe and it seemed to go down fine.
-
It was so warm and sunny today. I think it must have been around 70. Loved it! Too bad it will cool off a bit. But I think every day this week will still be over 50F.
-
Busy day today

I will eat a plain piece of grilled fish or turkey if I'm sick like that.

Nice. We too are having a beautiful day. It is currently 79 degrees with a nice breeze.
-
Good evening, all.
-
Fiesta is getting underway here full swing.
-
Tonight was the part at the country club that was supposed to have been outdoors, but thunderstorms nixed that plan. Still it was fun.
-
Tomorrow is the river parade -- if it doesn't get rained out. Backup party plans are in the works.
-
Tuesday it's the first night of a Night in Old San Antonio, also known as NIOSA. I'll be working a food booth that sells something called Cowboy Klopse. It's a meatballs that deep-fried in jalapeno batter. Good stuff.
-
Many thanks for all the nice messages about Barbara. They are greatly appreciated.
-
Vibes for Jane.
-
Anti-nausea vibes for BK.
-
Starting to watch The Martian. I can sort of see why the Globes would consider it to be a comedy.
-
ChasSmith, I'm sorry but I won't be in Louisville until July (unless my plans change between now and then).
-
George, happy birthday wishes to your niece.
-
What does it take to get to another page?
-
Dedication and a little work.
-
How little? This little.
-
DR George, did you see the tryout of COME FROM AWAY when it played in Seattle? I firend of mie is working on it.
No. I haven't seen anything in Seattle in quite a while.
-
Five!

Yesterday evening in Tampa we went to the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino for dinner.
My food was so-so, but my friend's steak was not edible - twice.
That's too bad, Tom. Hopefully, that's the worst of the food during your travels.
-

A ship that has Pepsi. What line is it again? I'll have to take it next time.
I'd been drinking diet Pepsi for more than 20 years, then they changed the recipe last year. I don't like it anymore...and that makes me sad.
-
George, happy birthday wishes to your niece.
Thanks, John! We had a nice time together.
-
Just turkey on rye - plain. It was fine. I hope.
-
Watched a movie and a half this evening.
-
Vibes for Jane.
Thank you.
-
We watched "Damsel in Distress" with Burns and Allen, Fred Astaire, and Joan Fontaine. It was delightful.

I love the dance in the carnival house.
-
Good night, all.
-
This afternoon we went to the movies and saw Everyone Wants Something. It was rather disappointing, especially for Keith who had read the good reviews. Having seen the previews I wasn't expecting it to be great.

I think that some people complained about aspartame, even though I'd read that there has been no credible study proving any adverse issues with it.
-
I have used Splenda (the new sweetener) and it's fine, but it changed the taste too differently for me.
-
I wonder if George is reading a book?
-
I wonder if George is reading a book?
Not at this exact moment (I'm watching "Agent Carter"), but I finally finished "Seveneves" (which was very long, but very good). I've started "Patrick Bronstein Presents" and have read up through chapter six.
