Georgia or Greece?
When my dad was in the army and stationed in Germany the first time (in the early '60s), he was able to go to Greece (I don't know if he went to Athens). He was able to go to places that are now off limits to tourists.
Well, it's time for me to get moving, check out of my motel, and do the few things I must do before my luncheon date with DR Ginny and her DH Richard.
If anyone is rummaging around "the Cloud" and bumps into me, say "Hi"!
I got a lot of sleep, and I'm pondering my day's events.
The Encores! season is officially over, so I have other jobs to move onto.
Right after I got off the phone with the library OverDrive finally appeared with the following notice:
We're sorry!

bk - How I wish I could see your show. The history of LA is so fascinating to me. Are you planning on recording - either video or audio?
The fellow who was there last night shooting some video put this montage together - sound kind of sucks, but it's fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWIF3kCi3Aw&feature=youtu.be
Nice photo DR GINNY.....thanks for sharing. Take home food is always great!
Busy vibes for DR ELMORE.
DR RLP when you are up there in the Cloud, see if you can find all of those photo albums that disappeared.

I can't get it to play on Safari, but i could watch it on Opera, don't ask why. Looks like fun.
We had a dee-lightful lunch. Richard and I left with enough leftovers for our dinner and DR ChasSmith has road food in case he gets stranded on his way to Columbus. It was free pie day at O'Charley's, so we all have dessert, too!
My bank has a new online banking website that is about 100 times more difficult to use than the previous one......it also has much SMALLER print, and it will no enlarge when I use control/mouse scroll.
It is most annoying.

I sympathize. Over and over, I see perfectly fine websites redesigned--MASSIVELY redesigned--and have to ask, "Why would anyone think this is better?!" One real estate website I used to use quite a bit was redesigned and no longer fits on my screen. It was obviously designed and tested on a large monitor and can't be used on my 13" Macbook. Given how many people use laptops, I'd have to call that pretty stupid. The other day I was so annoyed that I said, "You don't know how to design software!" Software testing has always been given short-shrift, but the decline of work ethic and discipline has made it even worse. IMHO. Honestly, much of today's software should never have been released.

I just went into my library's OverDrive site and had no trouble. It must be because of some trouble with your library.

I like not having to worry about what we're having for dinner.
DR Jeanne, Richard had a French dip sandwich and DR ChasSmith and I both had club sandwiches. Everybody left with half a sandwich. Richard has apple pie, I have caramel, and DR Chas has pecan.

Or I might have the second half of a sandwich & leftover pie ;)
DR George it is possible you didn't have a problem with OverDrive because it seems to be back ;) I should have asked you to check yesterday.

That could've been the difference, but I think that if there were a problem here, I probably would've heard about it through my work. They always post issues like this to all staff.

I would hope so. I also think if it were country wide googling it would have come up with something.

If I'm trespassin', I don't know how I got here!
Tomorrow they will check his prostate. Or, as my sister says, his prostrate.
I responded back: He is prostrate, but they will check his prostate.
But it was pretty funny.
Back in the 50's and 60's, teachers salaries in Washington State were not very good.
Next Wednesday, I believe, we are going to Harbor Lights.
He is feeling much better now that they are giving him only one chemo drug at a time.
At the end of May, they will give him a PET test to see if the chemo is having any effect on his cancer.
