Well, you've read the notes, the notes got away, and now it is time for you to post until the got away cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: NESCIENCE!
-
Good morning to all!
-
Where are the usual West Coast posters?
-
First after Michael!
-
An umbrella day today in new York.
-
Good morning, all.
-
The morning seems to be off to a slow start here.
-
Well, I'm dead tired and could really use more sleep. But it ain't gonna happen.
-
Very happy to hear about the prospect of a talking play in BK's future.
-
Will it have three acts?
-
Is it a good morning, all?
-
I ask, since my bank has apparently lost the $450 check I deposited yesterday, my bank account is now $7.95, and I have two checks outstanding.
Color me livid.
-
I thank those of you who yesterday sent vibes and beg, keep them coming!
-
Thank you for the welcome home George & Tom.
-
Good Morning. I guess this is the middle of the week slump.
-
DR George using my small smartphone for HHW is doable, but only briefly. It bounces around and is very diffI cult to know where I am and even more difficult to post.

Immediate banking vibes for DR Elmore!

Immediate banking vibes for DR Elmore!
From me, too! This is one of those banking nightmares, and I hope it gets resolved for you soon, Larry.

Thanks! I luckily have the deposit slip in my possession, so that is something positive. but the aggravation at the moment is on a high level. To add further frustration, my colleague and i are still waiting on our first payment for the "Guys & Dolls" project.
-
Now to the vibes request, a meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:00. this could be good!
-
This morning at 11:00, I'm meeting Susan Gandy, a Facebook friend visiting from Australia. On my way, I plan to kick some butt at my bank. They'd better cough up that check fast and credit my account.

Banking vibes for DR ELMORE!

Little Women re-opens tonight. We are sold out Thursday and Friday with just a few seats left for tonight and Saturday. Our theatre seats 198 folks, so we are making some money, and making some people happy.
For some reason there are a lot of NEW people attending our theatre for the first time to see this show....
-
Wednesday morning greetings! Another gorgeous day here in SW Ohio. It could stay like this all summer as far as I'm concerned, but it's supposed to get hot and muggy for the weekend :P
-
You're doing better than we are, DR Ginny. We're still getting only one or two nice days among too many chilly or wet ones. Again, that's a typical June in Connecticut. And I'm learning to better appreciate the more consistent parts of the country!
-
Yes one more day of lovely weather - and then tomorrow and the weekend, temps in the nineties and thunderstorms....
-
Now to the vibes request, a meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:00. this could be good!
VIBES!!!

Page two??? Really?

Woke up at ten-thirty - but didn't get to sleep until three, so not quite eight hours.
-
Good Morning
-
One more day of school and I'm off to Chicago for some brainless R&R and some sight seeing.
-
We had a 2:15 hours luncheon at The Smith, 63rd & Broadway. Rose, Susan's friend, and I had the mushroom omelet, Susan had the salmon benedict. It was a lovely time.
-
At 10:30 I stopped at my bank. They had the check, which mysteriously had resulted in a deposit slip but was not posted to my account. it was re-deposited and it is now showing up on my online account.
They will cover any charges incurred, they say, but I'm holding onto all records from today and yesterday. Just in case.
-
Good morning. It is still morning here, for another 20 minutes or so.
-
I've been getting up at 4 a.m. every day to be at the trailhead at 5 a.m. when they unlock the gate. It is hot. But it will be worse when monsoon starts and it is humid as well.
I started doing this to lose weight. I haven't lost anything. It seems I need to hike three hours daily just to maintain. That's not right.
-
Sad day.
One of my co-workers' went to India this past weekend to spend time with her dying mother. Her mother died this morning.
Another co-worker's wife had an operation a couple of weeks ago. Some therapy was going to be needed and she was set to be moved to a rehab center last Friday, but something wasn't quite right. The doctors decided they needed to operate again. The wife went into a coma. The family will decide this week whether to remove life support based upon what her doctors say.
Very sad. Very troubling.
-
Very sad and troubling stories to be sure DR RLP.

Thursday meeting vibes for DR ELMORE.

Have you had your thyroid checked recently?

Vibes if comfort for your co-workers DR Ron.

Reading DR LAURA's post made me tired.
-
I shall soon be leaving for the theatre for the 4th performance of LITTLE WOMEN.
-
I'm not sure whether this video was posted here. Its theme seems to be "Not everyone wants a baby, but everyone wants HAMILTON tickets." Quite funny!

Tonight is the final dress rehearsal without an audience for TAO's "The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged) (https://olytheater.com/season14/the-bible-the-complete-word-of-god-abridged-by-adam-long-reed-martin-austin-tichenor/)." The actresses got through it all last night in about two hours (not including intermission), but it'll tighten up as the weekend progresses. Tomorrow is our invited $5 preview, and then we open on Friday!

Well, I managed to get through the day with $4.00 in my pocket, and tomorrow there will be money! And on Friday, I get the first G&D payment, so things have turned around today.
Hopefully, I will have more good news tomorrow night.

Back from a really fun lunch with Richard Sherman, Milt Larson and Richard Allen, mostly talking about the Sherman/Larson musical I saw last week. I gave them my thoughts and will write further thoughts, since they thought my points were strong and well taken.
-
Good evening!
-
Food was as it always is at lunch at Genghis Cohen - okay. Their good chef doesn't come until five.
-
Page 3!
-
Then I picked up a couple of packages and now am home.

More vibes for DR elmore!

Page three? Really?

I'm listening to "Bright Star" and am enjoying it. I'm not paying attention to the lyrics too much, but I like the music. :)
-
Good evening, all.
-
It's been a most peculiar day.
-
It started, I guess, with my picking my friend up at the airport all too late. While waiting, I saw this woman get in the car in front of me, and she looked liked a twin of one woman at the dance studio. Turns out that's exactly who it was.
Anyway, I got Bonnie to her house and then got home by 1 a.m. I was back up at 6:30. I had to get to the office by 8 for a meeting. Thankfully school's out, so the traffic was lighter than usual. I made it with one minute to spare.
-
A full day of strange work preceded the last dance lesson before the competition on Friday. I hope I remember, or even part, of what they're trying to cram into my head at the last minute.
-
I'm now trying to watch the rst of Luchino Visconti's Senso, which I started last night.
It's often like an opera, with Valli (from "The Third Man") overacting deliciously and at times just a study in desperation. Farley Granger wears tight pants. He's not required to do much else. He fits the role. (Pun intended.)

Nothing like cutting it close.
Funny about the woman.

Vibes of comfort for Ron and his coworkers.

Great news, JRand, on the extra performances. I wonder why people would show up for Little Women and not something, well, of quality.
Still, it's good to get those butts in theater seats.
-
I'm listening to "Bright Star" and am enjoying it. I'm not paying attention to the lyrics too much, but I like the music. :)
I've really flipped for this score. I find myself singing snippets from various songs through the day.
I finally finished First Daughter Suite. Great music but the story is just too sad too often. The bickering between Nancy Reagan and Patti Davis is particularly ugly, but then again, that's sort of to be expected. Mary Testa offers a more sympathetic Barbara Bush than the woman has come off in interviews or in stories about her and her daughters-in-law.
-
Glad you're home safe and sound, Jane. Do you have jet lag?
-
Speaking of jets, Southwest Airlines is having a super sale through tonight on their website. I got round trip tickets to Tampa in September for less than $100 each way.

I've got that in my "saved for later" list. I think I may have to get it sooner rather than later. I love Mary Testa!

And now, I'm off to the theater.
Be back later.

Thank you. I was ok for most of the day but am dragging now. I expect it will hit me harder tomorrow.

Just revel in memories of La Sagrada Familia and Gaudi architecture.
-
Yes. And Krakow was a wonderful place to spend our anniversary.
-
Senso's English version has a screenplay by the rather unlikely writing duo of Tennessee Williams and Paul Bowles. I'm going to have to watch it just for the florid dialogue.
-
Can we get off this page?
-
Perhaps.
-
In time.
-
Four!
-
And now, I'm off to the theater.
Be back later.
Have fun.
Thanks, John. We're only about 20 minutes in, but it's already much improved from last night.
-
Intermission!
-
The first act took just about one hour.
-
And now, it's act two.
-
Just spending a lot of time with the Vixter tonight because we could. 19 more days before she leaves
-
And my iPad has only 4% battery life so it will turn off any minute now
-
So vibes and prayers for RLP and his coworkers
-
Congrats to Elmore on finally getting the check issue resolved
-
Meeting vibes for Elmore
-
Today was a miserable day at work. So I left my desk I piled high at 7 and went home to have a meal with my family
-
Of course I'll have to get in at daybreak to keep from being totally crushed tomorrow
-
We ended up at our favorite IHOP whee I enjoyed their new pancake creation... Buttermilk pancakes with bananas cooked inside the pancake and rum sauce and macadamia nuts on top
-
Seven million calories later....
-
But wait... Fresh banana slices! That's healthy
-
Surely that cancelled out at least half the calories right there!
-
Well if you get a whole page if nothing but Vixmom ramblings you have no indium yourselves yo blame
-
2% battery life
-
I'll say goodnight now in case I am suddenly cut off
-

I'm quite convinced that rum sauce is a health food on somebody's diet.
-
Good night, all.

PASS THAT OVER HERE!
-
After freezing my ASS off for four hours at an outdoor dress rehearsal, I'm sipping a little brandy, and those pancakes would go just fine with it.
-
So anyway, tomorrow night we have a preview audience of...
(wait for it)
Nuns! :)
And I'm told they're a great audience. I'm looking forward to it.
-
But how can you go wrong when one of them is Dolores Hart and another is the Cheese Nun?
I ask you.
-
And we're done!
-
Tomorrow night, we have our preview audience, then "The Bible" opens Friday!
-
And...
-
...since we're so close...
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!
-
I think we're going to run some things again before we leave, but since rehearsal is scheduled to go until 10:00 pm, we have time.
-
Yup, a few things will be gone over again.
-
I went and had stupid food - some nachos - and I'll tell you why I ended up doing that in the notes.

"Barrett plays Georges, owner of the nightclub, and Smith plays Albin, the star drag queen performer."
Gee, you wouldn't guess that they even knew each other; let alone that they were lovers.
-
I worried so much last night about whether or not to have lunch with Sandy, that I made myself sick.
-
Turned out, I had to cancel lunch.
-
It was okay, because Sandy was so worn out after the tests and chemo yesterday that he was too tired for lunch.
-
So, we rescheduled lunch for Monday.
-
That will be good, because the drive to the casino will give us a chance to talk about what he is expecting from the test results that he will receive on Tuesday.
-
The results will show if the chemo is having any effect on the cancer.
-
Vixmom, I am glad that you got a chance to spend some quality time with The Vixter.
-
You are driving her to Florida aren't you?
-
The tables are out of my apartment. I still have 36 hours to figure out how to get the old recliner out of my apartment.
-
I suppose I could get it moved out on to the balcony.
-
And then.......?
-
I suppose it would be too much to hope somebody would steal it off the balcony.
-
Perhaps by helicopter?
-
Time to switch computers.
-
Hello, 1 Guest!
-
What is your favorite book of all time?
-
One more post?
-
Six!
-
Page six? Really?
-
Would anyone like a nice recliner? Free to a good home.
-
I wonder if George stopped to get some nachos?

Sadly, I did not.

That isn't as exciting as nachos - at any price.

I had the BBQ ranch chicken salad and it was pretty good.
