Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both sweet and gross, and now it is time for you to post until the sweet and gross cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ONOMATOPOEIA!
-
First post after BK!
-
Now I want a taco salad.
-
Now I want a taco salad.
Ooo...that sounds good.
-
Topic of the Day: I do not eat shrimp.
:P
-
My favorite way to eat shrimp is with a fork, but sometimes I have to use my fingers.
-
Good night, George.
-
Good night, George.
Good night, Tom.
-
First East coast post of the day!
-
Good morning, all!
-
And my bank now owes me for overdrawn charges. I will see that is accomplished today.
-
The Con Ed utilities bill - which I mailed on Tuesday after depositing (oy!) the $450 check - landed in my account, yesterday and, since my check had to be redeposited yesterday, the check bounced.
-
I found in this morning's email the men's chorus version of "The Dreidel song," so I now have two Hanukka songs in my catalog.
-
DR vixmom, I hope your day goes so much better than yesterday!
-
DR ChasSmith, stay warm today. It was a really chilly day yesterday.
-
I plan to work here this morning. Yesterday, I got through the first three numbers of Act Two of the Moross score. I want to finish it up this weekend and get it to my copyist Scott.
Around 3:00, I will hit the bank before heading down to my 5:00 meeting, which I hope will result in some good news tonight.
-
Good morning to all
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good test result vibes for Sandy!

TOD:
When they're dead.
::)
-
Got a good warm sleep, sorely needed after last night's freeze. Could have used another hour or two, but I did okay.
-
Tonight and tomorrow night will be just as cold, but hopefully with much less wind. They're going to put up a wind shield where I'm set up, which will help considerably, and I'll have some of those little air-activated hand warmers with me. I've never used them before, but I've got a bunch here that somebody gave me. I wish I'd thought of that yesterday.
-
DR ChasSmith, stay warm today. It was a really chilly day yesterday.
It was chilly here last evening around 7:30 -- all the way down to 102!!! Brrrrrrrrr!
-
Food for thought

Warm rehearsal vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
Continued meeting vibes for DR ELMORE.
Feeling better vibes for MR BK.
-
Of course last night one of the idiot ensemble members was at the box office window crying because she needs tickets for Friday and Saturday.....even though they've been TOLD OVER AND OVER to reserve their tickets before we get sold out....idiot. The box office was open for the cast only one day at the end of the rehearsal period, and for the last 11 days they have been told - order your tickets NOW - we WILL BE SOLD OUT.
Not my problem.
-
I like to eat my shrimp in combination with my lobster.
-
I do not eat shrimp.
-
Gumbo, Chinese food, salad.
-
A thought for DR JRand: There is a slim, outside chance that "idiot ensemble member" may not have known until yesterday that she would be in need of tickets for the weekend.
Not that it matters now. What's done is done.
-
Another thought: What is going on in traffic these days? People out there are making left turns and swinging wide to the right -- even into another lane of traffic -- to accomplish this.
Has everyone been drinking the Kool-Aid?
-
My final thought at this time (granted, it's not MUCH of a thought):
Whatever happened to those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer
Those days of soda and pretzels and beer?
-
I can eat fried shrimp (yum, yum, especially with Hush Puppies).
I can eat shrimp sauteed in white wine and butter.
I can eat shrimp in GRITS!
Love me some shrimp and grits!!
-
TOD:
Grilled. On a skewer in kabob form is very nice. I'm not particularly fond of the peel-and-eat kind - it's a lot of work, but I wouldn't turn it down if it was put in front of me.
The only way I don't like shrimp is raw on a clump of white rice. Shrimp should not be served as sushi - it's kind of slimy that way. Leave that to the tuna and salmon, which are wonderful as sushi.
-
So true!
-
Good morning.

I would consider that DR RLP, except I heard her say...."she asked me to get them for her last week....."
She is the same one who forgot her body suit last Saturday and announced that the costumer was going to have to find her something to wear under her costume.....and then told the sound man that he needed to get her microphone on now because she was dressed.....fifteen minutes AFTER everybody else.
Last night she was sitting - in the way - waiting for the show to start on Stage Left, when she suddenly announced....my sword is broken, somebody has to fix this right now.
And when I was throwing away the empty tissue boxes, she told me I needed to go get more Kleenex before they ran out.....
Oh...and this is her first show.
-
The offending ensemble member is in the center in this photo, surrounded by two younger performers who present NO problems to anyone.

I'm up, I'm up - about eight hours of sleep. I got into my "special" don't vomit on the ground position and fell asleep - while I was up a couple of times during the evening, it worked, thankfully.

Beautiful.

My final thought at this time (granted, it's not MUCH of a thought):

I could go for some pretzels right now. I just had a little soda, ginger ale to settle my stomach. No beer, never beer for me.

Ditto- ;D

Now I want pretzels.
-
She has her father's eyes......

I had to lay down again - something was very wrong with those nachos last night. Don't think I'll be eating anything today, at least until MUCH later. I will go out in a bit and get some ginger ale.
-
Thursday afternoon greetings! Today was my last collage class in New Lebanon, after which I made my way to the southern Dayton 'burbs for lunch with former co-worker Sue. Did a couple of errands on the way home and here I am.

DR GINNY is a Collage Graduate!

LOL - there's even an alumni group being formed!

Lovely!
I shall now be off for performance number FIVE of Little Women the sold out musical.

This will NOT do.

I demand a page turn.

Just me and a "guest" online right now.

A guest?
A ghost?
A gest?

Feel better vibes for DR Jane and BK!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
Thank you DR Jennifer. I think I am reacting to a combination of my lunch on the plane combined with the bumpy ride home.

BK, after I turned 60, I swear my digestive system went through changes. For instance, I am now lactose intolerant. Perhaps your system n longer tolerates certain foods. i still think you need to see your doctor.
-
I am home from a wonderful meeting and there are good things afoot. My slump is indeed turning around. I can say no more than that at the moment, and as soon as I can, you will be the first to know.
Thank you for the vibes!
-
Hello, everyone.
-
So glad to hear that your meeting went well, Larry!
May you find interesting work, be comfortably busy, and feel pleased with your compensation.
-
Tom, thanks for the AC information. I looked into it. Even the portable units apparently need to vent to the outside--not surprising, really--and that wouldn't work here for me. But I'm glad such units exist; they certainly fill a void in the AC world. I'm praying for a COOL summer.
-
Ron, so sorry to hear about your coworkers. Vibes to all of you.
-
Bruce, I don't know about Whole Foods, but some stores that have delis will take orders. Whole Foods usually rotates their salad/buffet items, too, so not everything is available every day. You could inquire. Kept refrigerated in a container with a tight lid the food should be fine for several days.

As we get older our digestive systems lose the ability to digest, especially protein. I find digestive enzymes helpful.

I see so many strange things while driving that I'm amazed there aren't more accidents. Some days are worse than others. I have no idea why.
-
I'm pleased to hear about LITTLE WOMEN's success. May it prove to be a lucrative production.

Good evening!

Good evening DR Kevin.
-
George or Tom, do you know if there is a place to park at Sea-Tac to wait for a pick up call?

I'm counting on it, DR Jeanne! Thank you.

George or Tom, do you know if there is a place to park at Sea-Tac to wait for a pick up call?
Yes, there is a cellphone parking lot. It's very easy to find. They have signs.
-
I suspect the ground beef is the culprit - perhaps it had been sitting around for too long. I'm still too queasy to eat. I have some Diet 7-Up here and I'm sipping that. It's always amusing to be both hungry and nauseous at the same time.
-
Well, I'm off to the theater. Tonight is our $5 preview/final dress! Hopefully, it all goes well AND we get an audience.
-
Even though it's only $5 (as opposed to the regular price of $15), we don't always get many people.
Until later.

Thanks. It is good to know it is there if we need it.

"Amusing". I do not find it amusing ;D
I do get what you mean though. Actually I am not too bad until I eat. Fortunately I am better after eating dinner than I have been since Tuesday.
-

Maybe people feel like they should leave the less expensive tickets to those who need to pay less. I hope you have a good audience.

Thanks, Jane. So far, two people are here...three, if you include tonight's house manager.
-
Another person just showed up. And I have no idea who he is. Nice!
-
Ooo...more people are showing up!
-
I think I may try to have food. I think I'm feeling more hunger than nausea at this point. So, maybe some poached eggs on white toast and some white rice - or a turkey sandwich.
-
It's going well. We have a total of 11 people. Not bad...for us.
;)
-
Tonight the Vixter, Vixdad and I went over tothetexas roadhouse for dinner
-
And we brought along our ziggerty to play while waiting for dinner
-
18 more days before we head to,Florida
-
To her new home
-
1125 miles away
-
Not that I'm counting
-
1125 miles away
:'(
-
We're at intermission and they like it. :D
-
I like cold cooked shrimp with lemon and cocktail sauce
-
And shrimp scampi as long as they don't go overboard with the garlic
-
And the grilled shrimp at the Texas Roadhouse
-
I like garlic as long as they don't go overboard with the shrimp.
-
And I am back from the preview and the nuns, who loved the play and promised to return. There were flubs here and there, but it went well regardless.
-
Having some rice pilaf - it's tasting good and seems to be okay.
-
Coconut shrimp with marmalade sauce at the outback Sounds awful but it's really good
-
And I am back from the preview and the nuns, who loved the play and promised to return. There were flubs here and there, but it went well regardless.
That's great, ChasSmith!
-
And broiled shrimp stuffed with crabmeat can be very nice with a light touch on the garlic and a nice lemon wine and butter sauce
-
I'll have some of that, too. Please pass the plate.

:(
-
I am going to try and sleep now so I can function tomorrow.
-
And once long ago in a restaurant that no longer exists I had a dish of angel hair pasta with a very light cream sauce that had mushrooms, peas, scallions and shrimp
-
It was nearly 40 years ago.
-
But it was a memorable meal
-
Page five shrimp dance
-
Good news from Elmore
-
Vibes vibes and more vibes
-
The Vixter would love the recliner , Tom. when wil you be bringing it by?
-
Well I need to be up in less than six hours so goodnight
-
Good night, Vixmom!
-
TAO's final preview of "The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged)" is over.
-
We had a great audience!
-
There were a few phumphers, but all three actresses are good at improv, so they made it work...even when it was VERY obvious.
:))
-
And now, I'm going home.
Until later.
-
Good evening!
-
Sorry I have been E & T tonight.
-
It has been a heck of a day, and I don't mean that in a good way.
-
The recliner still sits in the middle of the living room.
-
One after another friend flaked out.
-
I can't even get it taken away as junk until next week.
-
Nicky is home resting after an emergency trip to the vet this morning.
-
The vet is thinking that it might be Nick's thyroid.
-
If so, there are two possible treatment options.
-
And today, only hours before his high school graduation, my youngest great nephew was involved in a serious accident.
-
He was driving with three friends in his car, when a pedestrian stepped out into his lane of traffic.
-
The man was struck and was thrown through my nephew's windshield.
-
The man may survive, but he may lose his arm.
-
My nephew is a very sensitive young man, and he is just devastated.
-
All four boys were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.
-
And for better or worse, my nephew went to his graduation.
-
This has been a horrible day from start to finish.
-
And the recliner must be moved by 2:00 pm.
-
One more post.
-
SIX

-
George or Tom, do you know if there is a place to park at Sea-Tac to wait for a pick up call?
Yes, there is a cell phone lot. Freeway signs will direct you.

Continued vibes to DR Elmore!!
