Well, you've read the notes, the notes had lawyer music, and now it is time for you to post until the legal cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: NONPAREIL!
-
Welcome fifty-four GUESTS.
-
First post after BK!
-
Since I am awake I will check my time stamp.
-
It is off.
-
Good. I'm glad it's not just me.
-
good morning to all
-
A very happy Father's Day to all you daddy's out there in HHW land
-
This is my first Fathers a Day without my Dad. I am feeling a little sad
-
Vibes and hugs for Jack
-
A liitle lawyer music... Sound like a Cillaliz kinda day!
-
One if the first responders lost on 9/11 was deputy chief Raymond Downey
He was From our town and very well known nationally as well in the firefighting and rescue community.
-
The post office was named after him. Which is a very big deal since it requires an act of congress to do so.
-
At the official ceremony then Senator Clinton and Senator Schumer were present.
-
They also renamed m street after him and every year in Father's Day they hold a run on my street.
-
Which means I have to get the heck outa here if I want to make it to church or soon we will be unable to drive in or our of our neighborhood
-
Laters!!
-
A liitle lawyer music... Sound like a Cillaliz kinda day!
Sounds like ti was a terrific day for BK all around, form the parking to the seating to the show!
-
In honor of the title of the notes, a possible suggested topic: favorite songs about the law.
Such as:
I Fought the Law and the Law Won
Lawyers in Love
-
Good morning, all.
-
I'm going to move back to L.A. and take that secret parking place.
-
I wonder if there's a secret living place that goes with it.
-
Happy Daddy's Day to all you Daddys, and a belated Happy Birthday to the wonderful Richard Sherman.
-
It's supposed to be a perfect summer day, we presumably have a good crowd attending the matinee, and I have what should be a delightful closing cast partay to attend afterward at the home of the director. She and her husband are artisanal cheese and wine experts (they have their own shop), so the food and drink look to be as lovely as the people.
-
Good morning, all!
and Happy Father's Day to any fathers lurking out there!
-
I slept really late. I got plenty of sleep, but I was feeling lazy.
-
DR vixmom, I share your feelings. I still miss my dad. After nine uears the wound is still fresh. I hardly ever miss or think about my mother, but I miss my dad every day.
-
This is another lazy day, which I like. I have work and diversions, so I'm not complaining.
-
DR TCB, I am so sorry for your great nephew's situation.
Now, who's going to Vegas, you and Sharry? You and Sandy?
-
Inquiring minds wish to know.
-
!! Page 2 !!
-
BK, thanks for the follow up on Michael Maguire. The last time I saw him, he was recording for John McGlinn in London, 2001, for Leave It To Jane.
-
It's that day.
-
He sorta vanished. At the time he was doing concerts for "Bravo Broadway!"
-
He's a troubled man. Oy!
-
Yes DR VIXMOM....my first Father's Day without my father here....
A couple of my brothers are going to come over today and finish the yard work that my sister and I started. Neither of us can get NEAR poison ivy.....and there are a couple of spots in our yard that are FULL of it.
-
Sounds like an interesting evening....thanks to MR BK for the report.
I would almost be afraid to be in a room FULL of lawyers and judges.
-
Final performance vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
Bring in the audience vibes for DR GEORGE.
-
Vibes and hugs for Jack
To both of you.
-
They also renamed m street after him and every year in Father's Day they hold a run on my street.
The Vancouver U.S.A. marathon is today and the runners will be on our walking path. We should be able to see them as they go by.
-
Happy Sunday and Happy Father's Day! The newest edition of the Broadway Radio Show is up for your listening pleasure. I interview the delightful and talented Scott Dreier about his new CD The Doris Day Project. It's a great CD and we had a very fun conversation.......give it a listen!
-
And BTW, or did I say this already? The last radio show with BK was excellent. Entertaining and informative.
-
Interesting article from 2013 on Michael Maguire in Superlawyers, about going from musicals to practicing law

I think Joe Kolinski was Michael Maguire's understudy when LES MIZ opened..

Here's Michael Maguire winning the Tony for LES MIZ.

Time to hurry up and get HAMILTON tickets, if you can - In addition to the other previously announced exits from the show, Leslie Odom Jr. is also leaving July 9.

-
I'm up, I'm up - didn't actually fall asleep until four, and got up at noon, so eight hours.
-
Happy day to all you fathers out there in the dark. Including me.
-
Happy Father's Day to all the HHW fathers!!
-
Hello, everyone.
-
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all who celebrate!
-
Hugs to Vixmom, JRand, Larry, and any other DRs missing their dads.
-
It's about 86 degrees here today. I know some love it, but some of us have difficulty with it. So far I've been able to keep the apartment comfortable. I'm experimenting with different approaches. Last year I bought a small clip-on fan for the kitchen. It does a very good job. It cost me about $15. The cool air from the AC doesn't want to make the right turn required to cool the kitchen. This really is all I need in there. Of course, I don't do a lot of cooking. But on hot days most people don't. This evening may be a different story. We shall see.
-
Stay-cool-and-comfortable vibes to all DRs experiencing hot weather.
-
Have a good Sunday, everyone.
-
TTFN.

Happy Father's Day!

Wonderful photos!!!!!
-
that's better
-
Fantastic, fun photos DR Vixmom. I did not know the Vixter had returned to her normal color hair, or close to it :)
-
We went for a 9 mile walk into town and long the river. I forgot to take my fitbit. It is easy to become addicted to tracking steps and miles.
-
yes she is a blonde again....yay!
-
I like her better as a blond but thought the black was an interesting change. At least it wasn't a bright red ;)
-
DR vixmom, what a wonderful day you had! I am so happy.
-
Great day and great photos DR VIXMOM!
-
It was bit sweet for Vixdad and me. Our last day out together as a threesome
-
Hugs for you my dear Elmore
-
FJL. I had no wish to see Hamilton before and even less since the Tony performance. I suspect if I were taken to see it gratis, I would chew off my foot to escape
-
I would like to see Book of Mormon though.... Maybe I can get ticket to the now everyone is Hamilton crazy
-
Anybody got an "in" for me? :)
-
Howdy, Vixmom. I loved the photos. What a great day you had.
-
You had the beach to yourselves, too. How nice.
-
It was bit sweet for Vixdad and me. Our last day out together as a threesome
...for a while, perhaps. There'll be others.
-
Tom, glad to hear the confirmation of your Las Vegas trip. Will you be taking your scooter with you?
-
I didn't realize there were witnesses to your nephew's accident. Hopefully, this will help alleviate whatever guilt he must be feeling.
-
Continued vibes for DF Sandy.
-
Vibes to all in need.
-
Bk it sounds like you had a wonderful evening
-
You had the beach to yourselves, too. How nice.
Yes it's a little hidden beach at the back of a huge park on the south shore . There is no swimming allowed in this section so you get fewer people
-
Thse are great pictures, Vixmom!
-
Final performance vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
Bring in the audience vibes for DR GEORGE.
Thanks, Jrand!

In honor of the title of the notes, a possible suggested topic: favorite songs about the law.
Such as:
I Fought the Law and the Law Won
Lawyers in Love
I remember years ago reading a list of songs that had one word changed (I don't otherwise remember the context of the list), but the one that I remember was, "How Could You Believe Me When I Said I Loved You When You Know I've Been a Lawyer All My Life."
:D
-
It was bit sweet for Vixdad and me. Our last day out together as a threesome
Maybe she can return next year for Father's Day. We miss having our children near us and wish they were only the distance between NY & Florida.
-
We just had a nice long video chat with Craig. Bryan texted he just woke up. He works the night shifts and sleeps during the day.
-

Good evening.
It is a little warm here today.
-
112? 120?
-
Hey my date stamp is 12 minutes slow
-
But at least you brought us past 100 posts!
-
Had a fun work session with Kay Cole, went and got a sub sandwich from some place I'd never been to - pretty good - and came home to find the LA show CD master ready for listening, which I'm doing now - sounds damn good.

That's exciting!

Well, it's time to head to the theater. Hopefully, someone will want to see a show about the bible on Sunday night. :-\
Be back later.
-
Father's Day evening greetings from Music City USA! We arrived in Nashville in plenty of time to visit Ann Patchett's Parnassus Books, where Richard spent the gift certificate I gave him this morning. Then we met Bishop Morse for dinner at Corky's Barbecue and now we're in for the night.
-
Anybody got an "in" for me? :)
No ins on BOOK OF MORMON, which I hated, but you should try to see BRIGHT STAR before it closes on Sunday!
-
112? 120?

Zowser!
-
Good evening, all.
-
Great photos, Vixmom.
-
By the way, Vixmom, Hamilton with the original cast will be shown on PBS this fall. Probably during a fund drive with thousands of interruptions to beg for money and the censors deleting half the lyrics.
-
Should be fun.
-
That's a little hot, Laura. Hotter than here.
-
Watching a movie in a new film series called Icons of Screwball Comedy. In this one, "A Night to Remember," Loretta Young and Brian Aherne are a married couple who move into a possibly haunted apartment.
It's not really a screwball comedy, but I guess they hope to make money off a forgotten title.
-
I always thought "A Night to Remember" was about the Titanic.
-
Happy Father's Day, all you pops out there.

Thanks I will mark my calendar, I must remember to miss it

But it's a dry heat......like an oven

Whew! We have six people, although only one paid...the other five are comps. But they're here!
-
Five!
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!
-
Five!
What he said.
;)
-
This movie is 100% laugh-free.
-
Good night, all.
-
We're at inermission and even with only seven people, they are a good audience. They're really enjoying the show. :D
-
After tonight, it'll be nice to have a few days off until our last weekend.
-
And now, act two!
-
Today was 110 degrees. Tonight it's really cooled down to 100.
-
We're done.
-
Today was 110 degrees. Tonight it's really cooled down to 100.
Yikes! :o
-
Glad I don't live in California.
-
And now, I must be off.
Until later!
-
Good evening!
-
Actor Anton Yelchin was killed today in a freak accident. He played Chekov in the reboot of STAR TREK.
-
Elmore, It is Sandy who I will be going to Vegas with in August.
-
Yes, Jeanne, the scooter will be going with me.
-
In fact, I don't go very many places without the scooter.
-
Great photos, Vixmom!
-
I talked to my friend in Sun City, AZ tonight. It was 118 at his place today.
-
We got to 72 degrees in Tacoma today.
-
It was a pretty day today.
-
I was a total potato today.
-
I guess that should be a recliner potato.
-
Actor Anton Yelchin was killed today in a freak accident. He played Chekov in the reboot of STAR TREK.
:(
-
We got to 72 degrees in Tacoma today.
It was a little warmer here, a perfect day.
-
I tried to watch BATTLE OF THE WORLDS with Claude Rains. I can usually finish watching any film, no matter how bad, but this was beyond horrible. I have no idea what film Mr. Rains was in.
-
Then I watched a little oddity called THE GHOST TRAIN. It was a black and white film from the 1940's. It was billed as a comedy thriller, but it wasn't very funny and it wasn't very thrilling.
-
Finally, I decided to watch IN AND OUT again. That movie is so damn silly. I just love it.
-
SIX!
-
Actor Anton Yelchin was killed today in a freak accident. He played Chekov in the reboot of STAR TREK.
I'd read that. :( The new Star Trek movie is supposed to be released next month.
-
And tonight, I slept my way through the NBA final game. It was a really good game, but I just kept nodding off.
-
Page six? Really?
-
I don't think I have anything on my schedule this week.
-
This coming weekend is infamous Taste of Tacoma.
-
My friend, Tracy, was going to come over to watch SECOND SAMUEL next Saturday night, but there is no way she could any place to park, so we will need to reschedule.
-
I don't think I have anything on my schedule this week.
I have a union meeting tomorrow after work.
-
Right now, I'm watching the season premiere of "The Last Ship."
-
There are nine Guests on the board tonight, but not a single one on today's posts.
-
I had red beans and rice for dinner tonight. I am glad I have Beano in the house.
-
No, actually Nicky is glad I have Beano in the house.
-
We are still twelve minutes off on our time stamp.
-
I suppose there are more pressing problems in the world than that.
-
The notes are up for today, but no new subject for posting!
-
I guess this is, good night.
