Well, you've read the notes, the notes were unconstrained, and now it is time for you to post until the unconstrained cows come home.

I've seen spell check do that very thing:  I'll type a couple of letters which somehow triggers the iPad into creating two words, putting them on the screen as though I'd  selected them from the suggested words.  Which I most certainly had not.

IT MUST BE STOPPED.

I always found it interesting when I would type "Starfighter" (as in The Last Starfighter) and spell-check systems seemed to think I meant to type "Straighter."

Please don't do this without providing the necessary detail because it causes everyone to jump immediately to the wrong conclusion.  Yes there was a police shooting in that three policemen were shot dead and three others injured by multiple gunmen, one of whom is dead and two of whom are still at large.

I'm at home.  I got home from the drive-in at around 2:45 am and went to bed.  Both movies were pretty good.  The problem is that it got a bit steamy in the car every once in a while, and when I turned on the engine to run the defrost, it got too cold for my niece (she's a bit of a whimp in that respect and didn't prepare for it) and then she couldn't hear the radio playing the soundtrack because it had to be turned down so low because of her hyperacusus.  But we got through it and enjoyed both movies.

Talking about going to the movies with my niece yesterday, Jane asked, "George can your niece wear hearing aids with her condition.  I seem to recall that she can't."  No, they don't help.  She has some noise reducing ear muffs that help in general, but she can't watch a movie with them on. :-\

I worked with him in 1988 on the Brooklyn Academy of Music-PBS Gershwin celebration.  He was a very nice man, lived on West 71st Street in a baroque building that needed a lot of repair.  I never met his wife, Rosalind Rees, with whom he did many recordings, but I never liked her voice.

Nice picture DR CHAS SMITH.  There are reviews of refrigerators on the Lowe's website that might be helpful.

The review of the one I bought mentioned the noisy motor.....I should have listened.  But putting a piece of styrofoam between the freezer fan and the top of the freezer did the trick....another trick I learned from a Lowe's review....

But the question is: When you're 88, does it matter if you stick strictly to your diet?

My friend Glenn said no. He was 88. He told his doctor for the last two years that he would rather have quality time than quantity time.

It seems he got his wish.

I have my ace restorer on the job with some acetates - a film score I absolutely love and which has never been available.  My feeling is if he could save It's a Wonderful Life and make those acetates, which were horrible, sound great, which he did, he should be able to do this because these are not in nearly as bad shape.

Yesterday we took a drive and today we went into Portland.

Yes it matters but it is his decision, as long as he is aware of what he is doing.  If at that age I don'the have the ability to understand then I say please let me eat whatever I want.
