Well, you've read the notes, the notes were late, late notes, and now it is time for you to post until the late, late cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ULTIMOGENITURE!
-
First post after BK!
-
Happy Birthday to our beloved DR Jrand!!
-
good morning to all
-
A most happiest of birthdays to DR JRand
-
Happy happy happy birthday to dear Dr Jrand!!!
-
I meant DR Jrand, not Dr Jrand, but it's early.
-
Good morning, all!
-
BK, I'm happy the postmortem went so well. I know it does little to make up for the aggravation.
-
In 1990-1991, when i was working on Babes In Toyland with the Houston Grand Opera, I spent too much time in a state of aggravation. At one point I called Michael Korie who was working on his second commission for HGO. "Why did you ever accept a second commission from these fools?" I asked him.
"What's upset you>" he asked me.
I started a list of complaints with the HGO powers-that-be, and it was a long list.
When I finished, Michael said, "Well, now you know what to ask for in your next contract."
-
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Felicitations to Our DR JRand66 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
It's up into the 90s today. I'm staying in with the AC and working on Act Two.
-
I felt pretty good yesterday; this morning I'm not doing so well.
-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good Weekend Vibes for BK and all! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR JRAND! Your are looking good very dapper on your special day.
-
JB's antics have made me smile.
-
Today I made the fastest shoe purchase, by far, I have ever made. I found a comfortable pair of sandals I really, really need since my other pair fell apart.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I am finally up from the most surprisingly bad night of insomnia ever.
I had a slightly upset stomach which accounted for part of it, and that has thankfully settled down. But boy, do I intend to make up some sleep later.
-
The happiest of Happy Birthday Wishes to our one and only, our new and improved, DR Jrand66!
-
Thanks, DR CHAS SMITH, DR JANE, DR ELMORE, DR FJL, DR MICHAEL, DR TCB, and thanks to MR BK for the birthday shout out in the notes....
Always appreciated....it's a long, long way from May to December, and the days grow short when you reach September, etc, etc, etc.
-
Yowza! Now that's what I call an avatar!
-
And congrats on your 65500 milestone also.
-
I always forget the lyric after September. I guess I'll just start singing etc. over and over again. Maybe it'll help.
-
Happy birthday, Jack.
-
And congrats on your 65500 milestone also.
And more congratulations.
-
TOD:
Dunno. I'll continue with Bobby Short's autobiography and Balzac's The Unfinished Masterpiece.
-
Happy Birthday to dear Dr Jrand!!!
I think it's:
Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day
-
My power went out while I was making toast, so I was stuck with raw toast.
Page 2 Toast Dance!!!
My power went out while I was making toast, so I was stuck with raw toast.
I think that's marketable.
I should have put sunscreen on my legs. The view is lovely or I would move.
-
Happy Birthday JRand!
-
TOD:
No idea.
-
Friday morning greetings! I'm about to concoct some split pea soup with the Honey Baked ham bone that we've cleaned off this week. While it cooks in the crockpot, I'll probably go visit Mom.
-
Happiest of birthdays to DR JRand!
-
This current chapter for the memoirs is a pain. and endless!
-
Thanks DR JOHNG, DR FJL for the congrats on the millstone, DR KERRY, and DR DRUXY.
Haha....not the lyrics I know....
Oh, it's a long long while
From May to December
But the days grow short
When you reach September
When the autumn weather
Turns leaves to flame
One hasn't got time
For the waiting game
Oh, the days dwindle down
To a precious few
September, November
And these few precious days
I'll spend with you
These precious days
I'll spend with you
-
DR ELMORE.....I hear your pain....
-
This current cxhapter for the memoirs is a pain. and endless!
Too much material? 8)
The humidity is so high, the apartment hallway is steaming.
The humidity is so high, the apartment hallway is steaming.
Our double-paned picture windows fog up when the humidity's high and we have the AC running. They've been really bad the past few mornings.
From the memoirs?
-
A Very Happy Birthday to DR Jrand!! :D
-
My power went out while I was making toast, so I was stuck with raw toast.
Darn...that's too bad.
-
There's nothing worse than having your mind set on something and then not being able to get it. I hate it when that happens!
-
the apartment hallway is steaming
From the memoirs?
This chapter I'm working on could do that!
-
Thanks DR GEORGE.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep. Congested. Can't have that.
-
the apartment hallway is steaming
From the memoirs?
This chapter I'm working on could do that!
Do I need to enter a witness protection program?
First order of business, DR Ginny -- you might want to get used to wearing one of these around town in the interim.
-
LOL, DR ChasSsmith!
-
That's a good look.
-
That's a good look.
LOL!
(If you do say so yourself!)
-
Thanks, Ron.
The bird is looking for his hawk. He's kept an eye on the window all day.
-
Three!
-
Poor birdie.....
-
I finished The Bookman's Tale last night, and I really enjoyed it. All three time periods meshed, the killer of the Victorian art specialist was apprehended, and it touched my heart i a way that few books manage. I recommend it highly.
So, I've begun Mr Lovett's novel about a young book collector in Oxford in the present and the courtship of Miss Jane Austen in 1796. Miss Austen is writing an epistolary novel she calls Marianne and Elinor, and I believe she will soon be thinking about a epistolary novel titled First Impressions. Both of her revised novels will be published 17-18 years later under different titles.
-
Poor birdie.....
So, DR JRand66, what are you doing tonight to celebrate?
-
The humidity is so high, the apartment hallway is steaming.
It is keeping him entertained 😄
-
We had excellent meals on the ship today. If this keeps up this might be the trip I gain weight .
-
Tonight our entertainment were the talented McDonald Brothers, Brian and Craig, from Scotland.
Sounds better than the 450-page biography of Mrs. John Quincy Adams that I'm trying to read. Not sure I'll stick with it...
-
Good afternoon. I stayed home today with my heel on ice. I thought exercise was supposed to be good for you.
-
Happy Happy Birthday, JRand!!!
Happy, Happy Birthday to DR Jrand66!
Had a nice meeting with a nice actress, and then had an egg salad sandwich to tide me over until after tonight's show.
-
Page three? Really?
We just had some fabulous split pea soup for dinner!
TOD;
THE SYNDICATE--a new, I believe, British show on Acorn TV. I've been watching it all week and will watch the season finale tonight. I'll be sorry to see it end.
-
TTFN.
Good afternoon. I stayed home today with my heel on ice. I thought exercise was supposed to be good for you.
~~~Heel Feel Better Vibes for Laura!!~~~

And now...
-

-
PAGE FOUR DANCE!!
-
Well, it's time for me to leave work. I'm going to my parents' for our fairly new regular Friday family dinner. I don't know what it'll be, but I had a late lunch, so I'm not really that hungry. But we'll see. :)
Be back later.
-
Thank you DR JEANNE.
I think DR JANE's ship is the Equinox.
-
DR ELMORE I had a ME day and didn't do anything! My favorite kind of day.
-
Coming to you from my new Mac computer.
-
Healing heel vibes for DR Laura.
-
Coming to you from my new Mac computer.
Welcome aboard.
-
Got a major headache. Thinking it could be all the people who feel it's OK to mow their grass whenever I'm around.
-
Hello, 2 guests!
-
What should I watch this weekend?
-
Cranberries!
-
Gratuitous post No. 101.

-
Happy happy birthday to Jack!!! I love your new avatar!!
-
I didn't get home from work until 11
-
Good evening!
-
Welcome 0 Guests.
-
It is 86 degrees in the bedroom.
-
Which is better than the 96 degrees it was earlier.
-
But our heat wave has supposedly ended.
-
Tomorrow it is supposed to drop 20 degrees.
-
But I will gladly take the seventies over the nineties any day.
-
Jane, which ship are you on?
Celebrity Equinox.
-
The food is good, so far, the staff nice, and the workout room is good.....however I don'the find it to be a pretty ship.
-
Thank you DR JEANNE.
I think DR JANE's ship is the Equinox.
Yup :)
-
Today was not a very good day.
-
My niece, my sister's one and only child, has two sons.
-
The youngest son was involved in that car accident in June.
-
He is now at Montana State University at Northern.
-
On the fourth day of football tryouts, he dislocated his shoulder in two places.
-
He needs surgery, so he won't be playing football this season.
-
Last night, his older brother, was involved in a very serious car accident.
-
In fact, the other driver was killed in the accident.
-
My nephew, who will turn 27 on Sunday is currently in the hospital; as is the young woman who was riding with him.
-
He had the top of his head almost torn off.
-
In addition, his one foot was so badly injured that the surgeon isn't sure he will ever walk again.
-
The young woman will also need surgery, but her injuries are not as severe as his are.
-
Well, it's time for me to leave work. I'm going to my parents' for our fairly new regular Friday family dinner. I don't know what it'll be, but I had a late lunch, so I'm not really that hungry. But we'll see. :)
Be back later.
Well, I didn't eat. My mom made some stir fry, but I wasn't very hungry at all, but my sister, niece, and my sister's boyfriend ate enough for everyone and took the leftovers home.
-
I don't know any more facts about the accident.
-
But I will gladly take the seventies over the nineties any day.
As will I!! :D
-
I don't know any more facts about the accident.
:o I'd better ketchup on the posts to find out what you're talking about!!
-
The accident has also been on all of the Seattle television stations.
-
My niece is suffering from a total meltdown. I don't know how much more she can take.
-
Oh, my goodness! I'm so sorry, TCB!
~~~Recovery Vibes of All Kinds for Your Nephew and His Friend!!~~~
-
So, I don't have much to say tonight.
-
No smart aleck comments or one liners come to mind.
-
Sorry. But good night.
-
My condolences to the family of the other driver. :(
