Well, you've read the notes, the notes were written by a hepcat, and now it is time for you to post until the hipster cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: VENAL!
-
Go watch videos, you late-night hepcats.
-
good morning to all
-
great videos
-
BK
I don't know why you keep putting your trust in Guy Haines. He always craps out on you. Besides you are a lot better singer that he is. :-)
-
George, that woman's injuries looked a lot worse tonight than the article seemed to imply.
-
A GoFundMe campaign (https://www.gofundme.com/2n9s9rfw) was set up for her and in only two days, they've already raised $6,450 of $10,000 goal!
-
Loved the new videos, BK!

That's great.

Page one? Really?
-
Where in tarnation is page two?
-
Way...far away.

Hello, 1 Guest!
-
Good night!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I dreamed I was working with Rob Berman on a production of Moliere's wonderful comedy Tartuffe.
-
I may see Rob this morning when I get to City Center. That would be nice.
-
DR Jeanne, I am watching This Life on the complete Region-2 DVD set. I think I am down now to the last four episodes now. I can only imagine how awful the cleaned up American version could have been:

-
Great job on the Danny Kaye number, BK.
Suggestion for a future show: I'd love to see you do "Those Were the Good Old Days" from DAMN YANKEES.
-
I am 3/4 finished with the first draft of my new short novel.
This is a story that I've carried around in my head for about 20 years. Started writing it as a screenplay, but kept getting writer's block on the second half.
It's a story that just wouldn't go away. Inspired by one of my late former publicity clients.
Some months ago, I started writing it as a novel. More writer's block, but then a couple of weeks ago, everything came together and it's pretty much writing itself now.
Hope to have this draft finished before the end of the month.
-
Looks like a busy tax day today!
-
Excellent notes again!
-
Excellent notes and videos.....I think I liked them all....but perhaps MR BK's video just a bit more.....because I like the song so much.
Baby Jane and little Baby Jane were certainly on the money!
-
I like the current Taco Bell commercial with a hipster/hepcat chiding the ordinary man who brought a wrap to a fondue party.....one actor plays both parts, and he is very funny.....
-
Hepcats were more entertaining than hipsters.....hipsters seem to be closer to beatniks....beatniks with jobs and money and no sense of irony.....
-
Continued vibes for DR JANE & KEITH.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Great videos!
-
I want that burrito. Now.
-
I wish I could remember what the piece of music was in my slightly crazy but largely unremarkable dream. It was the glue that held the dream together.
-
Page 2 Dance!
-
It's very pretty out today; the sun isn't shining. I hope it stays that way.
-
Continued vibes for DR JANE & KEITH.
Thank you.

The island if Hydra, pronounced Hee draw, is the perfect place to find comfort. So far the breeder aren'the any crowds and cars are not permitted. Add that to the beauty and charm of the town and we want to move here.
-
We are stayiying in a charming triplex up a hill followed by loads of steps and a knock out view from the top patio.
-
I'll come visit you in Hydra, Jane.
-
Good afternoon, all.
-
Starting to wrap things up here in Louisville.
-
Someone please share my new cover photo on fb before Keith changes it. I love this place and am looking forward to exploring tomorrow.
-
DR JANE's requested photo share.

I'm up, I'm up - almost eight hours of sleep.
-
Thanks DR Jrand but I meant the new one taken today in Hydra, the one with the cat.
-
I'll come visit you in Hydra, Jane.
Hurry, we will only be here for 2 nights.
-
Obviously we have WiFi here.
-
We are all falling asleep and it is only 9:00pm

I dreamed I was working with Rob Berman on a production of Moliere's wonderful comedy Tartuffe.
Theater Artists Olympia did a production last year and it was really well done...in my humble opinion (and I wasn't directly involved in the production)!

I've gone to Taco Bell a couple of times lately and just forgot to get it. I just ordered things that I usually get without even thinking about the new stuff. :-\

That's a great picture, Jane!

Wednesday afternoon greetings! Richard had an opthalmologist appointment this morning, the upshot of which is a referral to a pediatric opthalmologist because they're the experts in vision alignment disorders. From there we went to Centerville for Richard to purchase a ukulele in preparation for a 10-week class with local favorite Jim McCutcheon that starts on Saturday.

Here's the picture with the cat:

I had a great time at City Center. I saw Joshie, we talked about dance band arranging books from the 1920s and 1930s that I brought in to show him. then Rob Berman, who's working on a Jerome Robbins project, stopped in on a break. When Joshie had to leave for a meeting, I stopped by Rob's rehearsal and saw the wonderful Warren Carlyle.
-
Amazon market vendor Round 3 Records is working my last nerve. I did not receive all the CDs I ordered and to my three inquiries and replies to their emails since yesterday they do everything but dance around the kitchen to avoid telling me what I want to know, namely where the fat hell is it?
-
After we grabbed some lunch, we bought an ice cream birthday cake for Rob, who turns 31 today - get it?
-

I am just as confused. Let me figure our what spellcheck did :o
Hydra is pronounced Hee dra.
So far the breeder should be so far there aren't any crowds.........
-
Thank you DR Ginny, and thank you DR George for sharing the Hydra photo. I had to make it larger to see the cat 😀

Eye vibes for Richard.
Writing vibes for Druxy and TCB.
-
So, Fred, where are your poems appearing these days?
-
Thanks, DR John G! Hope you're accomplishing what you'd hoped in Louisville...
-
Beyond eating at Skyline? I think so. I hope so.
-
Thanks for fulfilling the request DR GEORGE.....but both the photos are nice.....
DR JANE looks as though she is having a wonderful time!!!

Back from a chopped salad and a bagel.
-
Lunch was a delicious bean salad and half a bag of freshly made kettle style rosemary & salt potato chips from Stew Leonard's.

In honor of BK's lunch, let's celebrate with BK's newest millstone!

Congratulations on your milestone, BK.

Jersey Boys is apparently closing.

Jersey Boys is apparently closing.
After almost 12 years! That's certainly a run!
-
The PAL Blu-ray of Suena el Teléfono (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00YOLW2PC/) has arrived all the way from England (even though it's an Italian release)!
-

I see the local productions getting ready to crop up. Motown, too.
-
If you've never heard of "Suena el Teléfono," it's the Italian name for "Bells Are Ringing." :D
-
I hope quality of this Blu-ray is of Blu-ray quality. :-\

The helper called an hour ago telling me that each and every e-mail order from Amazon that I've been forwarding to her AOL account - over a hundred since last Friday night - are gone - her AOL got hacked and I suspect she shut it down without saving the e-mails. So, I have spent the last hour forwarding them to her gmail account.
-
Good evening!
-
Great videos, BK!
-
Nice photos, DR Jane!

Oh, my goodness! Hopefully, it all gets sorted out quickly.
-
And now, I'm off. Tonight will be the one and only run-through for TAO's next evening in their WORDS, WORDS, WORDS series: Science Fiction. I'm reading a couple of short stories. One that I'm reading is "Answer," is by Fredric Brown. :)
Be back later.
-
Watched LADY IN CEMENT. Not as good as TONY ROME, but still fun.
-
Congrats to MR BK on his millstone.
BOO to AOL on the hacking.....
-
Jane I am so very sorry to hear about Keith's cousins

I just finished up This Life with episode 32, which ended with a wedding, the end of an affair, breakup, sex in the men's room, a barrister getting punched out in a fist fight, and Warren's return to London. It's really brilliant.
-
Page three?
-
Really?
-
What's the what?
-
Four!
-
Page four? Really?
-
Watching the Colin Firth version of The Importance of Being Earnest.
-
I spent $1 on the copy.
-
It's not Wilde, but it's pretty.
-
It's not Wilde, but it's pretty.
Dreadful. Give me Joan Greenwood, Michael Redgrave and Edith Evans!
-
My assignment tomorrow is to locate that 15-DVD set of War and Peace with Anthony Hopkins. I know it's here somewhere.
-
I've tried to read that damned book three times. the DVDs will be so much easier. It's those Russian names that confuse me. And then they all have nicknames and whatevers.

I agree.

I remember reading that when I lived in Middletown. I had a large-print library copy, so it came in at 1,400 plus pages. I consumed about 200 pages a night. It was a weeklong obsession.
-
It helped me to have seen the Hopkins miniseries you're talking about. That kept the characters straight in my mind.
-
Good night, all.
-
The same bogus phone number has been calling here all day - I already checked it out on 800 Notes and of course it's a scam call, but I wanted to know what it was about - someone claiming they're from Microsoft saying there's a problem on you computer and a virus and they can help you get rid of it. Armed with that, they just called again and this time I picked up. He got about two words out and I interrupted him and said, "Oh no, there's a virus on my PC - I'm so glad you called and can help me get rid of it. Can I give you my passwords and my credit card and my bank account now or do we have to do something on the computer first - do you need me to go to my PC?" He said, "Yes, that would be helpful." I said, "I'm sure it would - oh, wait, I don't HAVE Windows and I have a MAC - oops" and then I'm sorry to say I used an "F" word followed by a "C" word and hung up. I rather enjoyed it.
-
Helper was here and we're all straight on the Amazon orders, which all ship first thing in the morning.
-
What IS this page four malarky? Seriously.
-
Good evening!
-
Page four? At ten o'clock?
-
This is not funny!
-
Congratulations to BK on his milestone.
-
Wrapping up vibes to DR John.
-
Optical vibes to DH Richard.
-
Continued travel vibes to Jane and Keith.
-
If Jane and Keith move to Hydra, we can have our first international Haines get together there.
-
I wonder if no cars also applies to no scooters?
-
Happy Birthday to Ginny's DS Rob.

It was another somewhat dreary day in Tacoma.
-
The weather is supposed to start improving tomorrow.
-
Of course, it was supposed to start improving today.
-
At least it didn't rain today.
-
One more post.
-
Page 5
-
I am forgetting some vibes, I think.
-
I am apparently brain dead today.
-
Or maybe it is every day.
-
I was going to watch IRON MAN today, but I forgot all about it.
-
This Saturday night is the Opening Night Gala at the Tacoma Little Theatre. This marks the start of our 98th Season. Wow!
-
I have not talked to my sister at all this week.
-
My fault, I suppose, as much as her fault.
-
But I have left phone messages for her.
-
BK, great videos in today's notes.
-
My favorite is
Guy's your version of "The Maladjusted Jester."
-
But all thee are great.
-
It is a shame that you can't record an entire show for release.
-
I know I would want to buy them.
-
Page five? Really?
-
Thanks for fulfilling the request DR GEORGE.....but both the photos are nice.....
DR JANE looks as though she is having a wonderful time!!!
I am. One night left here a day then on to the Athens airport hotel for our last night before returning home.
-

I read it in my early 20's and am glad I did so.

Continued travel vibes to Jane and Keith.
Thank you.

If Jane and Keith move to Hydra, we can have our first international Haines get together there.
Sounds good :)

I'm home, fed, and watching "Bells Are Ringing" on Blu-ray.
-
How was rehearsal?
-
How was rehearsal?
It went really well. I think the evening might end up being a little long, but maybe an audience will liven things up...pace-wise.
-
On this Spanish Blu-ray of "Bells Are Ringing," the picture looks really good. I don't know from too much brown or a teal push, but to my eyeballs, it's a hell of a lot better than the laserdisc.
;)
-
There are three audio tracks. One is in Spanish but only the dialogue has been dubbed. The song portions are sung by the original performers in English. There are also two English audio tracks. It sounds like one is in mono and the other is stereo.
-
Well...
-
...since we're so close...
