Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Godzilla like, and now it is time for you to post until the Godzilla cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: CORYBANTIC!
-
And now - Godzilla at the piano.

TCB, to answer your question from last night: I bought the Spanish Blu-ray of "Bells Are Ringing" because as far as I've been able to find (at least on Amazon.com), it's the only Blu-ray available anywhere. It's not yet been released on Blu-ray in the US.

Really? I thought I had the Blu-Ray. I guess not.

There was a cleaned up (remastered?) DVD release in 2005 that looks pretty good. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?
-
One (not so great) thing about hi-def is that you can really tell in "I Met a Girl" that Dean Martin screws up the lyrics.
;)
-
George, do you have the DVD? Is this better?

He does?

I think I have the DVD. I think I bought the laserdisc on eBay just before the DVD came out, so I had to buy it again. But compared to some other DVDs in general, I think the Blu-ray looks really good.

He does?
Oh, yes. Right at the end of the song when he's staring right at the camera.
-
Of course, it's only his lip-synching that he screws up. The actual song that you hear was pre-recorded and is perfect.
-
Well, I am going to screw up my lip-sync and go to bed!
-
Good night, George, wherever you are.

Good night, Tom.

Good morning to all

do they have the cut numbers Is It A Crime and My Guiding Star on the Blu Ray?

TOD
Don't have a favorite but I can watch any because I love the cheesy special effects that only Japanese Monster films can do.
-
Sorry to have been E & T been trying to tie up loose ends at work and at home getting ready for our trip
-
Good morning, all
-
Out rip, damned spot!
-
Excellent videos in the notes.
-
TOD:
I don't believe I have ever seen a Japanese monster movie.
I guess I've been lucky.
-
Today I'm picking up a couple of lobby cards I had framed, which will be nice.
Later, a gentleman caller or two will be delivering and installing a replacement microwave oven. The one it's replacing is but four and a half years old, but its handle has little by little disintegrated because of the cheap plastic parts used in most appliances these days. Of course it's long out of warranty. These companies should be completely embarrassed by what they're putting out. But of course they aren't. You just bought a new one. What's not to like about that. Right?
-
Good morning, all!
-
When i woke, I was giving piano lessons to a very young daughter of Mary Rodgers.
-
There was an equally bizarre dream earlier, but I have forgotten everything about it.
-
I am determined to locate that War & Peace DVD set today. I remember its arrival from England and I recorded it in my catalog of DVDs, so where the fat hell did I put it?
-
Having been privileged to see just a single percent or so of DR Elmore's library, I can attest to that being a valid question. :)
-
The sun is out today-damn!
-
Two!
-
Good morning, all.

I'll second that. I used to watch them every Saturday afternoon. Cheesy fun.
-
Thursday morning greetings! Nothing planned for today and we even have leftovers both for lunch and dinner, so I don't have to think much about meals. Have to do some work on the AAUW website and, maybe, I'll get to play at my art desk for a while.
-
Thursday.....today is the Opening of THE ODD COUPLE, THE FEMALE VERSION, our closing show of the season. I will be selling tickets at 5 p.m., working concessions/tickets until the curtain goes up, working concessions during intermission, and then cleaning up!
I hope we only have a small audience, and that they are not very messy. Of course thunderstorms are predicted for the entire evening!
-
Lovely videos in the notes!
-
I thought I had MR BK's GODZILLA cd, but it turns out to be something else: The Best of Godzilla.....produced on Crescendo Records, whatever that is.
I do have the SUPERMAN and TITANIC cd's which I bought long before I began posting here.....excellent CD's that get a LOT of play around these here parts.
-
TOD:
Godzilla - original and U.S. version
Mothra
Rodan
The Mysterians
Many of the films produced in 1990's were also a lot of fun....probably my favorite is Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah....Godzilla vs. Mothra The Battle for Earth....and Godzilla vs. Mechgodzilla 1974 and 1993.
-
I have the Titanic CD and I THINK I have the Godzilla one under the Monster Mania name, but I know I don't have the Superman one.
-
TOD:
I never kept up with the Japanese monster flicks, being much more into horror and U.S. sci-fi back in the day, but I finally grew to appreciate the earlier Godzilla films, Mothra, and Rodan.
-
No sign of War & Peace. Very very puzzling.
-
Excellent videos. I especially loved Ilene on Whoever You Are.

Agreed! She can really (still) sing! Wonderful videos, all!

There are two cut songs in the bonus section. One is "Is It a Crime," which has some color problems, but I don't specifically remember the second song. It could be "My Guiding Star." Would there be any other? I'll check when I get home.

It's called "planned obsolescence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence)." :P

The sun is out today-damn!
Then kick up your heels and sing The Sun Has Got His Hat On (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7b09V1OJoQ)!
:D
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep. I guess I'll launch the Indiegogo campaign and hope for the best.

I was just going to ask about that as the video is up on YouTube.
-
What a great number....thanks for sharing DR GEORGE.
-
What a great number....thanks for sharing DR GEORGE.
I love the cast recordings from the 1980s (I've never seen the show), but if you search YouTube for earlier versions of that song, you'll hear the historically accurate but racially offensive original lyrics (one specific word has been changed from the original). :-\
-
Everything we read about Hydra said it is pronounced Hee dra, yet the locals say Hi dra ;D
-
Thank you to DRs TCB and Jane for yesterday's eye vibes for Richard and birthday wishes for Rob. The "Baskin Robbins" birthday was very well-received. And we can do it again in a year and a half when Mary Linda reaches the same milestone!
-
And we're live at Indiegogo - someone please go be the first. :) https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-brain-from-planet-x-10th-anniversary-concert/x/9165600#/
-
How can we have a successful launch when there's no one here to even read the post that we're live???
-
But we have three contributions already so that's good.
-
$20 perk!!! Congrats to BRAINEX!
-
11% funded. We can DO this! :)
-
18% funded. We could do even better if there were actually some people on this board right now.
-
I'm ready for a lobotomy.
-
Three!
-
PayPal is driving me crazy.
-
22%. Where in tarnation IS everyone? Where are all my Brains? My Brain lovers?
-

Maybe they've all been watching too much of the Marvel's Avengers movies or "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
;)

BK, I have a question (I hope this makes sense). If one were to get the Kritzerland 10-CD perk, could these 10 CDs be the next 10 released CDs, or do they have to be currently available CDs? Also, if they don't have to be currently available CDs, and one had gotten the 20-CD perk from the previous Kritzerland 10th Anniversary campaign, could these 10 CDs start after the original 20 have been fulfilled?
-
I wondered that, too. Nevertheless... 26%! :)
-
I think that would be hard to figure out, but maybe I can have the helper add ten onto wherever you are in the anniversary perks. So, I'll say okay.

If it's not too difficult, that would be great. Hopefully, it won't end up being a problem. I think I'm around 10 left, but I haven't been counting myself. ::)
-
26% - let's get this DONE! And yes, I said we can add the ten CDs on to your existing stash.

Page three? Really?
-
Went to my last dance class before heading back home. It's probably a good thing I did. They were cheating a little too much for my taste.
-
I may be slow at learning. Well, okay, I've very slow at learning. But part of my problem has been unlearning all the bad shortcuts that will screw you up.
-
So, is Sandy really dead and "Grease" is all one big nightmare, I mean, dream?

I loved her character in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. And I got to meet her on a weird tour of the book that included The, John Berendt, Margaret Whiting, Julius LaRosa, Emma of 6,000 songs from the book and more. They sang Johnny Mercer and Berendt read selections from the book.
-
I still have her autobiography. I wonder if I got her to autograph it.
-
Hello, 0 guests!
-
Who's your favorite transgender person?
-
Wow. We're a far way from page five.
-
We're a fur piece from page four, too.
-
I have to pack in the morning.
-
And work.
-
Bummer.
-
Remmub spelled backwards.
-
An early birthday present arrived in the mail today. A double CD set of Bobby Short and Mabel Mercer's two concerts.
-
North Korea's conducting missile tests.
-
Elissim spelled backwards.
-
Let's move on.
-
Four!
-
Page four? Really?
-
Sorry to hear about The Lady Chablis, especially at 59, fer crying out loud.

Oh, no. 59 is just too young. :(
-
Page four? Really?
-
31%! That's what I'M talkin' about.
-
Back from a nice dinner at The Smoke House - had my filet and some creamed spinach - excellent. Apparently on Thursday nights they have a special early bird filet for fifteen bucks - but it's smaller than the regular one, maybe six ounces instead of ten, but it filled me up just fine. I also ordered a small Caesar but it never arrived so I saved those calories.

If they didn't charge me for it, it doesn't usually bother me...unless it's specifically what I wanted.
-
31%, actually. Let's get that up!
-
Well, I'm finally able to leave work. I had some complicated invoicing that had to get done today, so now that it's done, I can leave. I just need to get me something to eat, then I'll get to go home (I don't have anything at home right now that I want to eat ::) ).
Until later.
-
But before I go...Gratuitous Post #100!
-
Good evening.
-
BK, have you said who is appearing in the Brain reading?
-
I have not said and shan't before page five. But Robert Yacko will be appearing.
-
Good evening!
-
I have not said and shan't before page five. But Robert Yacko will be appearing.
Don't say that. We may never find out.
-
T.O.D.
I don't think I have ever seen GODZILLLA.
So, I guess I would have to say RODAN.
-
Page four? Really?
-
Are several people on vacation?
-
I mean regulars here being on vacation.
-
Jane is on vacation and John is away from home (no vacation), but they are both still posting.
-
I am permanently on vacation, but I am still posting.
-
Maybe it is a phase of the moon?
-
Or something stuck in Uranus?
-
I wish I understood astrology.
-
I make mock, mostly because of my ignorance.
-
I keep thinking today is Friday.
-
Jane is on vacation and John is away from home (no vacation), but they are both still posting.
Last full day though most of it will be spent getting to a hotel near the Athens airport.
-
I originally wrote, "I keep thinning today is Friday."
-
We missed the rain in Hydra :)
-
A little of my Desi Arnaz coming out, I guess.
-
Page 5ive!
-
Hi Jane!
-
What day do you get home?
-
We are supposed to have nice weather thru, at least, next Wednesday.
-
I heard from Sandy yesterday afternoon.
-
So far, he was dealing well with the new treatment.
-
I will write him tomorrow afternoon, after he has the pump removed.
-
He wants to go to the Washington State Fair, but I am not sure he is up for it.
-
There is a lot of walking involved.
-
We will see how he feels this weekend.
-
I think Mondays are the only day that would work for us. but it depends on his health.
-
Maybe we can shoot for Monday, September 19.
-
That would work the best for me.
-
Greetings, 1 Guest!!
-
What is your favorite movie from 1939?
-
Tonight was the of the NFL season!
-
I know that means nothing to most of you, but it is my favorite time of the year.
-
Of course, Autumn has always been my favorite time of the year.
-
I love the leaves turning color, the crispness in the air. I love it all.
-
No George tonight?
-
It is easier to post when there is someone to talk with.
-
Grammatically incorrect, but I get worse as I get older.
-
Speaking of grammar, auto correct is a lot of fun when you are trying to write a book.
-
It is like having Vixmom as my typist.
-
There was one correction that I could never figure out what it was supposed to say.
-
So I ended up changing the whole section.
-
I like to blame auto correct, but it could just as easily be my mind taking a break.
-
Yesterday, I was stuck on one part, and I fell asleep while trying to figure it out!
-
One more post on this page.
-
Six!
-
I need to pick my Indiegogo level tomorrow.
-
I need to change over to my IPad.
-
I am back!
-
Nobody missed me.
