Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Godzilla like, and now it is time for you to post until the Godzilla cows come home.

TCB, to answer your question from last night:  I bought the Spanish Blu-ray of "Bells Are Ringing" because as far as I've been able to find (at least on Amazon.com), it's the only Blu-ray available anywhere.  It's not yet been released on Blu-ray in the US.

There was a cleaned up (remastered?) DVD release in 2005 that looks pretty good.  Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

One (not so great) thing about hi-def is that you can really tell in "I Met a Girl" that Dean Martin screws up the lyrics.

I think I have the DVD.  I think I bought the laserdisc on eBay just before the DVD came out, so I had to buy it again.  But compared to some other DVDs in general, I think the Blu-ray looks really good.

Oh, yes.  Right at the end of the song when he's staring right at the camera.

Of course, it's only his lip-synching that he screws up.  The actual song that you hear was pre-recorded and is perfect.

Today I'm picking up a couple of lobby cards I had framed, which will be nice.

Later, a gentleman caller or two will be delivering and installing a replacement microwave oven.  The one it's replacing is but four and a half years old, but its handle has little by little disintegrated because of the cheap plastic parts used in most appliances these days.  Of course it's long out of warranty.  These companies should be completely embarrassed by what they're putting out.  But of course they aren't.  You just bought a new one.  What's not to like about that.  Right?

Thursday morning greetings!  Nothing planned for today and we even have leftovers both for lunch and dinner, so I don't have to think much about meals.  Have to do some work on the AAUW website and, maybe, I'll get to play at my art desk for a while.

Thursday.....today is the Opening of THE ODD COUPLE, THE FEMALE VERSION, our closing show of the season.  I will be selling tickets at 5 p.m., working concessions/tickets until the curtain goes up, working concessions during intermission, and then cleaning up!

I hope we only have a small audience, and that they are not very messy. Of course thunderstorms are predicted for the entire evening!

I do have the SUPERMAN and TITANIC cd's which I bought long before I began posting here.....excellent CD's that get a LOT of play around these here parts.

Godzilla - original and U.S. version

Mothra
Rodan
The Mysterians

Many of the films produced in 1990's were also a lot of fun....probably my favorite is Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah....Godzilla vs. Mothra The Battle for Earth....and Godzilla vs. Mechgodzilla 1974 and 1993.

TCB, to answer your question from last night:  I bought the Spanish Blu-ray of "Bells Are Ringing" because as far as I've been able to find (at least on Amazon.com), it's the only Blu-ray available anywhere.  It's not yet been released on Blu-ray in the US.

do they have the cut numbers Is It A Crime and My Guiding Star on the Blu Ray?

There are two cut songs in the bonus section.  One is "Is It a Crime," which has some color problems, but I don't specifically remember the second song.  It could be "My Guiding Star."  Would there be any other?  I'll check when I get home.

I love the cast recordings from the 1980s (I've never seen the show), but if you search YouTube for earlier versions of that song, you'll hear the historically accurate but racially offensive original lyrics (one specific word has been changed from the original). :-\

BK, I have a question (I hope this makes sense).  If one were to get the Kritzerland 10-CD perk, could these 10 CDs be the next 10 released CDs, or do they have to be currently available CDs?  Also, if they don't have to be currently available CDs, and one had gotten the 20-CD perk from the previous Kritzerland 10th Anniversary campaign, could these 10 CDs start after the original 20 have been fulfilled?

Back from a nice dinner at The Smoke House - had my filet and some creamed spinach - excellent.  Apparently on Thursday nights they have a special early bird filet for fifteen bucks - but it's smaller than the regular one, maybe six ounces instead of ten, but it filled me up just fine.  I also ordered a small Caesar but it never arrived so I saved those calories.

If they didn't charge me for it, it doesn't usually bother me...unless it's specifically what I wanted.

Well, I'm finally able to leave work.  I had some complicated invoicing that had to get done today, so now that it's done, I can leave.  I just need to get me something to eat, then I'll get to go home (I don't have anything at home right now that I want to eat ::) ).

Until later.

I don't think I have ever seen GODZILLLA.

Speaking of grammar, auto correct is a lot of fun when you are trying to write a book.
