Title: THE REAL ME

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were the real notes, and now it is time for you to post until the real cows come home.

I dreamed I was held by a small gang that was robbing small stores and killing store workers on the Upper West Side.  I escaped and ending up hiding in the second floor of a Grant's dept. store while i was texting the police to come and rescue me.

Oy!  The dreams!

This seems to happen most when I wake up abominably early, finally get back to sleep, and sleep in - even just a little beyond when I'd normally get up.

Incredible things, and references to things, a treasure trove of things thrown together in ways that boggle the brain.

I so wanted to get out there for the BRAIN and enjoy a couple of days in L.A.  I tried to juggle some things and I'm afraid it just ain't happening.

'Tis the season for announcements, so I'll throw one into the pot.

Y'all can start praying for Rosemary's Baby right now, because in Sep.-Oct. 2017 I'll be music-directing and piano-conducting a small (105-seat, five-weekend) production of Merrily We Roll Along.

Is that asking for some serious hell (and probably some damnation), or what?

Where is DR Jane today?

I got my broken hearing aid fixed and then went with Keith to his gym.  I walked and shopped at Safeway while he worked out.  Shortly after we returned home we went for  proper long walk before it rained.  Then I had to cook dinner.  Exciting right.

Actually, I was pleasantly surprised my broken hearing aid was fixed so easily.  It needed a new part.

Looking even more forward to Unsung Sherman Brothers than ever. I'm watching Trumbo tonight. Forgot that he wrote Roman Holiday.

I really enjoyed TRUMBO.

Jane, regarding your foot. I'm a big fan of Arnica. The Arnica Rub is my favorite of the Arnica topicals, since it has lots of other remedies in it as well. About a week ago I started a little trial of Topricin, a homeopathic cream for arthritis. I'm using it on my two arthritic fingers. It's helping. If you don't get results with Arnica, you may want to try Topricin. I've seen in on Amazon. It's very easy to use--no smell, absorbs easily, etc.

Life Extension has a wonderful supplement for arthritis, the Fast-Acting Joint Formula. It contains a high dose of hyaluronic acid and it really is fast-acting. A bit pricey, but very effective.

Congratulations!

Jane, that's scary news about the explosion.

Yes.  The firefighters were very brave running into the buildings to evacuate them.

I'm enjoying the movie, but the guy who plays Edward G. Robinson is nothing like the man.

Keith and I felt the same way.

On Monday I received a tax refund. On Tuesday I went to the dentist and the bill ate up every bit of the refund.   :(
Don't you just hate that?

Yup.

DR Jeanne,  thanks for the suggestions.  Is the Arnica Rub by Natrabio? The only arnica I found to buy was Arnicare cream from Boiron.
